A great experience at Ibero Tapas! The quality of the products is exceptional, with authentic flavors that transport you directly to Spain. The ham croquettes are among the best I've ever tried, creamy on the inside and perfectly coated. The potato omelet and octopus are other dishes you can't miss, as are their Alicante-style paellas (the chef who prepares them there is from). And for a sweet finish, the torrija they make for dessert is outrageous! Authentic Spanish food in Munich!

Iberotapas is a place to relive the flavors of Spain in Munich. Their ham, croquettes, octopus... and paellas. Everything is excellent. Without a doubt, the best "Spanish" in the Bavarian city.

One of the highlights is that they cook the paella right in front of you – it's a fantastic show to watch! The paellas are absolutely delicious, full of flavor. The tapas are also excellent quality, and the portions are generous. I highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant and enjoying an unforgettable Spanish dining experience!

The paella was too fatty, the seafood was completely overcooked, but the crema Catalan was very good. The service was practically nonexistent. A smile would have been nice. I'm disappointed given the prices.

Best Spanish restaurant in Munich! The “tarta de queso” is amazing, I would recommend to go only for that! Calamares, pimientos de el padron and Paella are great! Tortilla de patatas and albondigas could be better! Some dishes are a bit too expensive, including the Sangria

The service is unfriendly, slow, and downright rude. We had to ask two or three times before our food or drinks arrived. There was a large piece of glass in our sauce, and instead of apologizing, they even accused us of breaking a glass. Good night. Even one star is too many...

It's actually a really nice place, but the food was forgotten, and there were shards of glass in the sauce. After we confronted the waitress, we were accused of breaking a glass and intentionally putting the shard in the sauce. And we were treated extremely rudely.

Recommended by a friend, I highly recommend Ibero Tapas. The menu leaves nothing to be desired. Excellent service and advice on the individual dishes. I'll be back.

Each tapa costs 10–12 euros? Garlic bread for 8? Tapas are usually served all at once, but here we had to wait. The patatas bravas were too spicy, the dates with bacon were overcooked. Not tasty at all, just like in every other place in Munich.

Absolutely outstanding experience at Ibero Tapas in Munich! This place is warm and cosy, with a charming interior that feels both inviting and authentic. The open kitchen setup with the large grill island in the center of the restaurant is such a unique touch — it’s mesmerizing to watch the paellas bubbling away right in front of you. It adds an extra layer of trust and excitement to the whole dining experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always with a smile and ready to help — you feel well taken care of the moment you walk in. Now to the food: hands down the best paella I’ve ever had. Not dry at all (unlike many other places), with the rice perfectly cooked and soaked in flavor. The seafood was fresh and generously portioned — prawns, mussels, clams, squid — every bite was a hit. The variety was impressive too: we tried the classic seafood paella, black rice with squid ink (which was rich and deep in flavor), and the creamy arroz meloso which was so comforting. We also had some tapas and starters that were beautifully plated: baked scallops with a cheesy top, perfectly crispy croquettes, and grilled baby calamari with aioli — all delicious and made with high-quality Spanish ingredients. The presentation was on point, and I loved the thoughtful details like the lemon wedges neatly placed, or the colorful, modern serving plates that made every dish feel special. Highly recommended for anyone who loves real Spanish food. Whether you’re going for a full meal or just drinks and tapas, you’ll leave happy and full. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Nice beer garden, friendly, attentive staff. Unfortunately, it's far too expensive for what you get. Tapas are never cheap, but here the value for money isn't right. Neither the food nor the drinks. I can't recommend it, unfortunately :-/ Too bad!

The place is delicious. I wasn't crazy about the croquettes. The paella was spectacular. The place is small. You definitely need a reservation, and the only downside is that even if you have one, you have to wait, but it's worth the wait.

One of my favorite restaurants in Munich. This time I ordered the seafood paella and it was really delicious, full of flavor and super fresh ingredients. For dessert, I ordered the cheesecake, which was simply spectacular, creamy and with an incredible flavor. Highly recommended! The last time I had tried the ham croquettes and they were also delicious, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. In addition, the staff is always very friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. I recommend 100%!

If you are in Munich and have an authentic Spanish language, Iberotapas is an obligatory parade. This restaurant offers an excellent selection of tapas, with products that are transported directly to Spain. One of the great protagonists of the card is, sin duda, the tarta de queso, which is simply spectacular. The creamy texture and the balance between the dulce and the lightness of the mixture are reflected in a postre imprescindible. No hay que irse sin probarla. Pero la experiencia no se queda solo en el postre. The patatas bravas are a perfect cross between the fish and the meat, accompanied by a salsa with just the right balance between the picante and the sabor. Las gambas a la plancha, jugosas y con toque de ajo delicioso, son otro acierto seguro. Además, the tortillas with different sabores are an ideal option for testing in different ways, with a different character and two preparations. The champiñones also taste good for the taste and texture, and the plate is sencillo pero que resalta for the calidad. Otro detail que llama la atención da más entrar al local es la gran variedad de paellas que paran a la vista del publico, justo en la entrada. We were 13 people. I wasn't the one ordering, so I am not sure about the names, but we got a taste of everything. Everything is great, wine is good. Recommended.

Paella was nice and came in big portion.

We were expecting much from the paella, so we ordered both meat and seafood ones. Unfortunately, no one in the group really liked them. Deserts are very good though.

Update 2024: This place has become our favorite Tapas place. I'm kind of a tapas snub, I admit it, but these were pretty good I'll say. We had the Spanish Experience Menu for two people (watch out for the differences in the translations - apparently you get a different menu depending on which language you read, German or Spanish...). The menu helped us try different stuff and we were overall happy but some tapas needed some extra salt (we hardly use any at home...). Sangria was good, wine I could not recommend but their bottles were a bit expensive... Service was good, they agreed to change our table after I complained of being too close to the neighbor table and they compromised about the translation mistake on their menu!

Tasty Spanish tapas, friendly service and a lively atmosphere! We were greeted warmly and served in a charming manner throughout the evening. The tapas selection was good ranging from vegetables to meat to seafood. Each tapas was flavorful and the seafood paella with octopus and prawns was delicious! The perfectly cooked rice was packed full of flavor and was serve piping hot right from a large grill in the middle of the restaurant. On the more expensive side considering that the portions are rather small. But definitely worth a visit.

The best Spanish restaurant in Munich. We had a Christmas dinner at this restaurant, ending with a menu (dinner) of €30/person + drink. The food and service were 10. We had aioli for dinner with bread, croquettes, potato omelette, calamari, paella (seafood and meat), bravioli potatoes and for dessert… cheesecake, the latter incredible.

A great Spanish tapas restaurant that is also well connected to public transportation. There are plenty of vegetarian options, including veggie paella, making it highly recommended for vegetarians and vegans. The food is delicious, and the portions justify the prices. The Spanish omelette with caramelized onions is a must-try! Don’t miss the patatas bravas—they really hit the spot. Service is quick and friendly. The only downside is that the seating is a bit cramped. Be sure to make a reservation, as the restaurant is quite popular.

Good, authentic Spanish tapas restaurant with a nice variety of dishes to share. Most ingredients were good quality and tasty, the meat was overcooked though. Interior is well decorated but seating is very crammed and due to the open grill in the middle your clothes will smell like it afterwards. Staff was very friendly, service quick. It's a bit hidden on a side street. Be sure to book a table well ahead since it's popular.

The food here is good but not exceptional. The paella was fine and it was cooked on a big grill in the middle of the restaurant. There was an exhaust hood above grill and the fans were very loud. We also had the tapas set menu but a few were also just so so.

When we asked at the Spanish wine shop for the best Spanish in town, we were recommended Ibero Tapas. We weren't disappointed. Best ham and great paella. Plus a very nice service. However, there is quite a hustle and bustle in the restaurant. So be sure to reserve.

This place has way to many tables in a small space combined with too few / inefficient staff. Might be good for bigger groups, but otheerwise it feels like sitting in a canteen which is not acceptable for me for this procepoint. If I pay over 100 euros for a dinner for two, i dont just expect good food but also a nice experience. The latter we did not get.

Saw this place on Google Maps and couldn't say no to Spanish food. And it was a good choice. First, the service was quick and helpful. Secondly, the food was tasty ( being picky, the shrimp in paella were to dry and was little undersalted.) but over worth the experience

As a Valencian, I can say that here they serve authentic paellas as God intended. So, Germans, come here if you want to know what a real paella is. And for dessert, the cheesecake, spectacular. Thanks to the restaurant team for the evening.

Amazing and authentic Spanish food, from many Spanish regions. Also very good wines. After having been multiple times in Spain in very good restaurants, I can say that here with the authenticity and quality of the food you feel like in Spain. Our highlights were: Calamari, Secreto Iberico, Cheesecake, honey liquor from Canary Islands.

We had the big tapas round and were very excited! Price-performance fits. Very great team and great service.

Unfortunately very disappointed, ordered paella with seafood for 2 people, it was dried out and slightly burnt, there were two shrimps, two clams and three mussels and to top it off there was only one dessert that had to be shared. When I asked why, the answer was just like that. Unfortunately not recommended. RIP-OFF!

the refried bravas potatoes and too much Oscars for my taste, they should rectify the way they are made, a clean oil and good cooking would improve the flavor and presentation, the garlic bread lacked a little more garlic and flavor but good in general acceptable .

Unfortunately very bad impression! For me, this is rip-off at its finest. We had the paella for 2 people with lobster. A pan arrived with burnt rice, a few slices of lemon slapped on it and 1 lobster tail. The rest could only be guessed at. It tasted fishy and not fresh. And charging 90 euros for that is a disgrace!! A starter also came in an opened clay pot. Everything was served very carelessly and the service wasn't good either. Listless and arrogant. Unfortunately not recommended.

I had high expectations based on the positive reviews, but was ultimately very disappointed. We specifically (!) ordered the prawns without brandy (there are people who can't tolerate alcohol). These were simply served with brandy?! The food was okay - apart from this no-go. The service was very inattentive and disoriented. We had to draw attention to ourselves every time we ordered. In the end, after a long wait, we were allowed to bring the bill to the counter in person.

Delicious tapas! Paella varied and good. Service solid.
