Authentic Spanish restaurant with a very good paella and a large selection of tapas. Away from the tourist hustle and bustle in Munich.

Ambience could be a little better, prices are relatively expensive.

Compared to other restaurants, an unreasonable price/performance ratio, with several dishes.

Very tasty tapas, decent portions and friendly service. I can recommend it with a clear conscience and would be happy to come back.

We ate tapas at Ibero last night, had a paella for 2 people + a small starter, it was super tasty. Definitely coming back.

The food was super good Vieras, the best Croquetas de jamón, great Delicias de Elche great medallones de ternera con humus, super good Tarta de queso, amazing calamares a la Andaluza, good gambas al ajillo, not so good in my opinion The only disappointment was related to the service. We said clearly, please bring the plates little by little, to be able to enjoy the food. We arrived at the restaurant at 7pm, the waitress informed us that for the Paella we would have to wait at least half an hour, but the problem was not knowing the cooking times, the problem was that we waited an hour and a half, even though they came every now and then to tell us "it will arrive soon" they brought us three different sauces (two of which with garlic and one spicy), which we did not ask for (put on the final bill), we had asked for ketchup for our son, but they told us that not L they had . They brought us bread that we didn't ask for (what's more, they put it on the final bill) if you charge for bread in a restaurant at least ask if we want it?? . I don't think we will return.

It's as delicious as authentic Spanish food. This is a place where you can eat not only paella but also Basque cheesecake, which is popular in Japan. It's better to make a reservation because it's crowded.

The food is very tasty but slightly pricy. We have been there for the bday of a friend. The atmosphere was very nice and chill. Only problem, our reservation was at 20:45 but we got the table at 21:20 and we had to wait outside till then. We ordered many things, such as tapas, croquetas and paella. In the image there is a paella for 4 people… very generous portion!! :) The food was delicious:)

Everything was amazing! I had the seafood paella, patatas bravas and the tarta de queso. The cheescake was hands down the best I've ever had. My only complaint is that I wish the paella servings were bigger other than that it was perfect!!

We had a selection of vegetarian and meat tapas - all tasted very good, although the price was definitely on the upper limit. The cheesecake is recommended - very creamy. The service was attentive and friendly. You should make a reservation, the parking situation is difficult.

Best place to eat tapas in munich, pribably even better than in spain! We ate patatas bravas ( BEST ONES I HAVE EVER TRIED), very crunchy and tasty croquettes with jamon and truffle also and the best one in the end, parlla with sea food ( also super super tasty)! If you are looking for a tapas place in kunich, definitely come and try this one out!

Spanish food in Munich, what more could you ask for? Well, it's good and with friendly people and this restaurant certainly nails it. The only "but" in my opinion is that it was a little expensive for us. Although of course, to treat yourself from time to time, it is worth it.

We were really looking forward to the evening at Ibero tapas and went there with high expectations, we found out about it through the page on Instagram. Atmosphere like in a fast food restaurant. Service okay, not great but not bad either. We have been to various tapas restaurants but this was really the most disappointing thing we have ever experienced. Everything was lukewarm, limp and grossly overpriced for what was served. Can't understand the good reviews at all. Very unfortunate. Others definitely have better tapas and cheaper prices.

Super Spanish restaurant. Friendly, attentive and original staff. The quality of the dishes we ate was really very good. The restaurant is frequented by Spaniards and this makes me think it is really authentic. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.

Alles in allem war es ein netter Besuch. Wir hatten leider etwas Unglück, da wir zu 6. dort reserviert hatten & die Reservierung wohl nicht mehr auffindbar war wurden wir direkt an die große Grillplatte gesetzt. Wir waren dort im Winter & durch die Frequentierung hat man ständig die Hitze von den Platten & die Kälte durch die offene Tür gespürt. Das war etwas ungünstig. Ansonsten das Essen war sehr lecker & der Service war top. Die Oliven haben mich besonders überrascht. Qualitativ wirklich sehr gut. Auch die Aioli und alle anderen Gerichte waren lecker. Leider ist das Restaurant etwas ab vom Schuss und wir sind ca. 10 Minuten + von der nächstgelegenen Öffi-möglichkeit dort hingeloffen. Preis-Leistung war okay. Es war schon etwas teurer als gewöhnlich, dafür hat aber das Essen und der Service dementsprechend gepasst.

I wanted to eat spanish specialties here like paella, but was little bit disappointed - my sea food paella was good except over salted. It was also really convenient to book reservation online just from Google. After we finished our main courses and sangria and wanted to pay, waitress were surprised (or kinda shocked) that we refused to order desserts. We didn’t plan to order something else, so it was little bit confusing for us. But with paycheck actually we got some free liqueur, that was nice.

Pretty good selection of tapas! Everything was delicious.

If this is the best Spanish restaurant in Munich, I would be very disappointed and sad :/ Not to mention rude and impolite waiter who tried to ‘teach’ what to order, the quality of food was quite unsatisfying. We expected more of genuine taste of Paella yet it was less than mediocre. Deleted from my list.

Best Spanish restaurant in Munich by far... but more than that, I think this is the best restaurant in Munich overall!! the food is simply amazing, and the quality of service goes beyond any expectations. The atmosphere, the music.. all is espectacular!

As a Spaniard I can say this restaurant is authenticallly Spanish. The menu offers a variaty of Spanish choices in tapas, meat, fish/seafood. There are croquetas, jamón, calamares, huevos rotos, paella, salsa ali-oli... to name a few. It is not luxury quality but honest food: recommendable. We will come to try the paella! Great service as well.

Es ist eine große Bereicherung für unser Wohnviertel, wir wollten schon lange hier zum essen kommen und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Alles hat gestimmt, das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Service muss noch ein kleines bisschen zulegen um den fünften Stern zu bekommen. Klare Empfehlung für authentisches Spanisches essen. Wir kommen wieder! Ich musste nach dem Dessert auf 5 Sterne korrigieren, den Käsekuchen musst ihr probieren, es ist der Wahnsinn.

Etwas enges Restaurant, das Ambiente ist OK, wirkt auf mich nicht unbedingt hochwertig, eher zweckmäßig. Das Essen hat uns wirklich gut geschmeckt, die Portionsgrößen waren gut.

Die Essen war nicht so lecker aber ist ok Leider die Service war nicht freundlich. . Ich empfehle euch nicht.

Estupendo restaurante español en Múnich!

Mein Besuch im Ibero Tapas in München war durchweg positiv. Wir haben hier einen Geburtstag gefeiert und waren von der Qualität der Tapas und der Sangria sehr angetan. Besonders unsere Freunde die aus Spanien kommen fanden das Essen und die Getränke sehr authentisch. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und schnell, was bei einer größeren Gruppe nicht immer selbstverständlich ist. Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist angenehm und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Auch die Paellas waren sehr gut. Insgesamt ein sehr gelungener Abend in freundlicher Atmosphäre. Ich kann das Restaurant definitiv weiterempfehlen

Das Essen war gut, aber der Service sehr schlecht, die Kellnerin war unfreundlich.

Wir hatten einen 2er-Tisch mit Reservierung und saßen leider nicht gut. Es war viel zu vollgepackt in der Mitte und es gab kein angenehmes Ambiente. Service hätte netter und aufmerksamer sein können. Lag wohl daran, dass aufgrund einer großen Gruppe der Laden wohl sehr sehr voll war. Essen war okay, gibt aber wesentlich bessere Tapas Bars in München. Warum sind Gambas z.B. kalt? Nachspeisen waren sehr lecker. Preislich leider schon recht gehoben…

By far the best dinner I had in the 7 days in munich. Waitress was super friendly and service was outstanding. The food was great, with fresh ingredients. Taste was very close to the original Spanish taste. Restaurant is definitely not fancy but seating is nice, with an in restaurant cooking of paella. It was packed with people queuing up at the bar for a table. It's slightly pricey but in my opinion worth the few euros extra.

Hacía años que renegaba a ir a un restaurante español en Munich por haber tenido experiencias donde te ponían comida sin gracia ninguna a un precio de oro. Me salía mejor coger un avión y comer en cualquier restaurante de España y además hacer un poco de turismo y después ir al Zara jajaja. Bueno, bromas aparte, el Iberotapas es un sitio realmente espectacular, la comida es 100% como en España, la paella para chuparse los dedos y las croquetas son de otra galaxia. La tarta de queso es para hacerle un monumento al que la haga. El precio es algo elevado, eso sí, pero al menos la calidad se corresponde al mismo y se puede disfrutar como en casa. Volveremos sin duda !

Tolles Restaurant mit unaufdringlichen und sehr freundlichen Servicepersonal. Hier fühlt man sich gleich wie in Spanien. Einen Stern Abzug, weil es dort eine recht unangenehme Geräuschkulisse gibt. Bei vollem Lokal ist es schwierig, ein Gespräch zu führen ohne sich anschreien zu müssen.

(English version below)味道和我在西班牙吃的一样，标准的西班牙风味，但是菜量太小了，因此感觉好贵:(，价格无法匹配菜量和味道，因此可能不会想着再去尝试，也可能是我点餐的问题，下次再去试试。 The taste is just like what I had in Spain, truly authentic Spanish flavor. However, the portion size is too small, which makes it feel pricey :( . The cost doesn't match the portion and taste, so I might not consider going again for pleasure. It could also be the dishes I ordered. Maybe I'll give it another try next time.

Super leckere Tapas und Paella 🥘. Nicht ganz günstig aber kann man sich mal gönnen. Die Speisekarten zum scannen als QR-Code auf einer Papierunterlage mag ich nicht so gern. Finde ich nicht besonders schick. Aber das ist sicher Geschmacksache.

La primera impresión es que es un poco caro y la verdad que no es barato, pero al final no sale tam caro si vas con mas personas y compartís. La comida esta muy buena. Vale la pena ir a probarlo. Seguro volveré. Recomiendo que pidáis estilo Tapas. Lo disfrutaréis.
