Ibero Tapas in München

Tasty Spanish tapas, friendly service and a lively atmosphere! We were greeted warmly and served in a charming manner throughout the evening. The tapas selection was good ranging from vegetables to meat to seafood. Each tapas was flavorful and the seafood paella with octopus and prawns was delicious! The perfectly cooked rice was packed full of flavor and was serve piping hot right from a large grill in the middle of the restaurant. On the more expensive side considering that the portions are rather small. But definitely worth a visit.

The food is quite OK and typical Spanish, but the prices are definetely high. Service is nice. Unfortunately only few tables, so reservations are a must

The best Spanish restaurant in Munich. We had a Christmas dinner at this restaurant, ending with a menu (dinner) of €30/person + drink. The food and service were 10. We had aioli for dinner with bread, croquettes, potato omelette, calamari, paella (seafood and meat), bravioli potatoes and for dessert… cheesecake, the latter incredible.

A great Spanish tapas restaurant that is also well connected to public transportation. There are plenty of vegetarian options, including veggie paella, making it highly recommended for vegetarians and vegans. The food is delicious, and the portions justify the prices. The Spanish omelette with caramelized onions is a must-try! Don’t miss the patatas bravas—they really hit the spot. Service is quick and friendly. The only downside is that the seating is a bit cramped. Be sure to make a reservation, as the restaurant is quite popular.

Good, authentic Spanish tapas restaurant with a nice variety of dishes to share. Most ingredients were good quality and tasty, the meat was overcooked though. Interior is well decorated but seating is very crammed and due to the open grill in the middle your clothes will smell like it afterwards. Staff was very friendly, service quick. It's a bit hidden on a side street. Be sure to book a table well ahead since it's popular.

The food here is good but not exceptional. The paella was fine and it was cooked on a big grill in the middle of the restaurant. There was an exhaust hood above grill and the fans were very loud. We also had the tapas set menu but a few were also just so so.

When we asked at the Spanish wine shop for the best Spanish in town, we were recommended Ibero Tapas. We weren't disappointed. Best ham and great paella. Plus a very nice service. However, there is quite a hustle and bustle in the restaurant. So be sure to reserve.

This place has way to many tables in a small space combined with too few / inefficient staff. Might be good for bigger groups, but otheerwise it feels like sitting in a canteen which is not acceptable for me for this procepoint. If I pay over 100 euros for a dinner for two, i dont just expect good food but also a nice experience. The latter we did not get.

Saw this place on Google Maps and couldn't say no to Spanish food. And it was a good choice. First, the service was quick and helpful. Secondly, the food was tasty ( being picky, the shrimp in paella were to dry and was little undersalted.) but over worth the experience

The paella was GREAT! What a pleasure to find places where you can eat like in Spain. The Galicia star was also not missing, and the finger-licking cheesecake. The tapas are a little expensive for the amount they serve, but everything is delicious. Thank you!

You feel like you're in Spain. The excellent paella is cooked directly in the dining room on a large oven. The service is very friendly and attentive. It is advisable to make a reservation.

As a Valencian, I can say that here they serve authentic paellas as God intended. So, Germans, come here if you want to know what a real paella is. And for dessert, the cheesecake, spectacular. Thanks to the restaurant team for the evening.

Pretty good quality of food, very satisfying

Amazing and authentic Spanish food, from many Spanish regions. Also very good wines. After having been multiple times in Spain in very good restaurants, I can say that here with the authenticity and quality of the food you feel like in Spain. Our highlights were: Calamari, Secreto Iberico, Cheesecake, honey liquor from Canary Islands.

We had the big tapas round and were very excited! Price-performance fits. Very great team and great service.

Unfortunately very disappointed, ordered paella with seafood for 2 people, it was dried out and slightly burnt, there were two shrimps, two clams and three mussels and to top it off there was only one dessert that had to be shared. When I asked why, the answer was just like that. Unfortunately not recommended. RIP-OFF!

the refried bravas potatoes and too much Oscars for my taste, they should rectify the way they are made, a clean oil and good cooking would improve the flavor and presentation, the garlic bread lacked a little more garlic and flavor but good in general acceptable .

Unfortunately very bad impression! For me, this is rip-off at its finest. We had the paella for 2 people with lobster. A pan arrived with burnt rice, a few slices of lemon slapped on it and 1 lobster tail. The rest could only be guessed at. It tasted fishy and not fresh. And charging 90 euros for that is a disgrace!! A starter also came in an opened clay pot. Everything was served very carelessly and the service wasn't good either. Listless and arrogant. Unfortunately not recommended.

The food was okay, but nothing special. The seafood platter wasn't enough for the price, and some of the tapas were too much. The paella was burnt and dry. This doesn't have much to do with real Spanish food. The service was also mediocre. The waitresses weren't unfriendly, but they didn't try very hard either. For the prices quoted, the restaurant is not a recommendation.

I had high expectations based on the positive reviews, but was ultimately very disappointed. We specifically (!) ordered the prawns without brandy (there are people who can't tolerate alcohol). These were simply served with brandy?! The food was okay - apart from this no-go. The service was very inattentive and disoriented. We had to draw attention to ourselves every time we ordered. In the end, after a long wait, we were allowed to bring the bill to the counter in person.

As far as I can tell, this is as close to authentic Spanish food as you can get outside of Spain. The vermouth was original, and therefore great, the tapas were original and therefore great. Thoroughly recommend.

This is a great place for a beer and some tapas, food here is great, paellas are fresh and you can see while they are being cooked in the middle of the restaurant, huevos rotos is another meal the i often order and is never disappointing. Quality of service is great, plus of servers are spanish speaking which is always refreshing. At the endyour meal i recommended you order for a cheesecake and an espresso, this cake will change your your perception of what delicious means. In short, the best tapas place in Munich and probably in Germany.

Unfortunately it's not something I have to have again - and I really enjoy eating tapas! The staff either didn't pay attention to us at all or tried three (!) times to foist a dish on a guest that they simply didn't order. In our opinion, the food was, for the most part, neither in terms of quantity (dates in bacon), nor in terms of taste (olives) nor in the ingenuity of preparation (shrimp) in an appropriate price-performance ratio. And in the end it turned out that we had to pay extra for the bread (2 small baskets for 5 people) and also for the aioli. This is always included in other tapas shops - and if the aioli costs extra, then I think it would be appropriate to communicate this beforehand when ordering. Unfortunately, we paid a lot of money for not really great food. No more for me/us, thank you!

The food is delicious but really expensive - even by Munich standards. The service is okay, but sometimes you wait quite a long time to be served. It's very loud and cramped.

They organized the viewing of Spain in the MS on the isarpost. I can only say how outrageously expensive they are. The entrance alone was between €8 to €11. 0.33l beers as expensive as 0.5l ones or even more. They didn't offer anything to eat except tiny sandwiches or empanadas for €5. It's amazing how they take advantage of people.

The price is very expensive, especially the drinks, neither in German nor Italian restaurants are they so expensive!

Thats exactly why sometimes maps review confuse me. This place has nothing special. The paella was the worst taste i had in Munich. The side dish we ordered meat with humus was totally over-salted. And both dishes were over priced. Not recommended at all.

Nice Spanish restaurant. The tapas were really delicious, especially the gambas al ajillo. The much-praised cheesecake is really very good - but at 8 euros per piece it is also grossly overpriced.

The food was good overall, the cheesecake was amazing. I found the customer service horrible. The waitress called a customer rude, taking advantage of the fact that he did not know Spanish. I thought it was out of place. We almost had to beg to pay and didn't even thank us for the tip. In short, the experience is very nice for the food but the staff leaves a lot to be desired.

Eating is always a matter of taste and experience. I didn't like it. Service was very friendly, therefore generally 3 stars instead of 2. Chairs very uncomfortable.

€120 (for 2) for frozen stuff senselessly filled with mayonnaise (or a similar sauce). All with subsequent stomach ache throughout the night. Sangria not to be commented on, calamari that looked like tyres, ham croquettes made only and exclusively from fried cream, smelly prawns in oil and much more. Absolutely avoid!

For the second time I'm so disappointed . we ordered paella and it was tooo salty. Also we had to wait for it fast 2 hours. I will never go there again.

Such an amazing place. Loved the mushroom and squid croquettes , patata bravas and baked cheesecake. I had the marisca Paella, it was good but I'm not convinced if it was the best. I need to go back here again!

We went for dinner on Tuesday. Paella was very salty and slightly burnt. Reordering drinks is very difficult, waiters don't even look at the table but like to chat at the counter. There is still a lot of room for improvement.

Beautiful ambience, outstanding service, wine, water and the main course!! Wow! I have celiac disease so I can't eat much, but there is plenty to choose from here, such as my paella de marisco or grilled platter with fresh seafood. Delicious! The dessert was not gluten free, but my friend ordered Crema Catalana and he also found it very tasty. We recommend it!

One of the best Spanish restaurants in München.. truly spectacular. I recommend taking only tapas, the paella was definitely too much, although very good. The sangria is a bit expensive. In general the cost is around €30-40 per person, but I think it's really worth it!

When we entered the restaurant, we were not welcomed at all. When the greeter heard that we didn't have a reservation, he seated us in the worst place even though the place was empty. I didn't like his attitude at all. We ordered tapas and paella. The appetizers with potatoes and peppers were great. I never liked paella. It was incredibly salty and something like stones always came to my mouth. It's an incredibly expensive place, you can find flights from Ryan Air for the same price to Barcelona.

Authentic Spanish restaurant with a very good paella and a large selection of tapas. Away from the tourist hustle and bustle in Munich.

We arrived at the restaurant at 7pm, the waitress informed us that for the Paella we would have to wait at least half an hour, but the problem was not knowing the cooking times, the problem was that we waited an hour and a half, even though they came every now and then to tell us "it will arrive soon" they brought us three different sauces (two of which with garlic and one spicy), which we did not ask for (put on the final bill), we had asked for ketchup for our son, but they told us that not L they had . They brought us bread that we didn't ask for (what's more, they put it on the final bill) if you charge for bread in a restaurant at least ask if we want it?? . I don't think we will return.

We said clearly, please bring the plates little by little, to be able to enjoy the food. It's as delicious as authentic Spanish food. This is a place where you can eat not only paella but also Basque cheesecake, which is popular in Japan. It's better to make a reservation because it's crowded.

The food is very tasty but slightly pricy. We have been there for the bday of a friend. The atmosphere was very nice and chill. Only problem, our reservation was at 20:45 but we got the table at 21:20 and we had to wait outside till then. We ordered many things, such as tapas, croquetas and paella. In the image there is a paella for 4 people… very generous portion!! :) The food was delicious:)

Everything was amazing! I had the seafood paella, patatas bravas and the tarta de queso. The cheescake was hands down the best I've ever had. My only complaint is that I wish the paella servings were bigger other than that it was perfect!!
