Das Essen war einfach fantastisch! Es hat uns total nach Spanien zurückversetzt. Das Lokal ist super gemütlich, die Bedienung ist so freundlich und nett, und die Atmosphäre ist so, als würde man bei der Großmutter essen. Es war absolut authentisch, fast so, als wären wir gar nicht mehr in München. Wenn ihr die spanische Küche und Kultur wirklich kennenlernen wollt, seid ihr hier genau richtig! Übrigens, die Besitzer sind auch Spanier ;)

Der Mann hinter der Theke scheint jede Form von Freundlichkeit als persönliche Beleidigung zu betrachten. Seine abweisende und unangenehme Art sorgt dafür, dass man den Ort am liebsten sofort wieder verlassen möchte. Statt Kunden mit Respekt zu begegnen, strahlt er eine bemerkenswerte Gleichgültigkeit und Arroganz aus. Selten habe ich mich in der Gegenwart einer Servicekraft so unwohl und unerwünscht gefühlt

Ein komplettes Desaster, absolutes Chaos, furchtbares Essen, grauenhafter Service.

Leider kann ich die positiven Empfehlungen, die ich für dieses Restaurant bekommen hatte, nicht nachvollziehen. Ich hatte mich sehr auf den Besuch gefreut, wurde aber enttäuscht. Das Fleisch war leider viel zu trocken und wirkte, als hätte es deutlich zu lange auf dem Grill gelegen. Gerade bei einem Restaurant, das für seine Küche empfohlen wird, hätte ich eine deutlich bessere Qualität erwartet. Der Service war in Ordnung, aber das konnte das Essen für mich nicht ausgleichen. Insgesamt hat der Besuch meine Erwartungen nicht erfüllt. Für mich war es leider das erste und zugleich letzte Mal – ich werde nicht wiederkommen.

Als ich in München wohnte, habe ich dort eines Tages gegessen und wir wurden sehr freundlich bedient und es war köstlich. 😋

Ein nettes, ungezwungenes spanisches Restaurant in München. Die Reservierung war unkompliziert und das Essen fantastisch. Ich kann es jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der in München Lust auf Paella hat. Ich empfehle dieses Restaurant allen, die in München spanisches Essen suchen. Insbesondere ist es eines der wenigen Restaurants im Westen Münchens, wo man wirklich gute Paella genießen kann.

Bei unserem ersten Besuch hier war alles, was wir bestellt hatten, köstlich: Albondigas, Paella con conejo und Pollo al chilindron. Man kann die Gerichte wunderbar teilen, aber auch alleine ist man gut satt. Das Fleisch war butterzart und die Saucen dazu einfach fantastisch. Ein Restaurant, das man sich merken sollte.

Ambiente täuscht. Man wird hier positiv überrascht. Leckeres Essen mit angenehmen Preisen.

Sehr schlechte Erfahrung. Das Essen war qualitativ minderwertig und geschmacklos. Der Service war unhöflich und inkompetent. Absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Es gibt sicher edlere Lokale, aber ebenso sicher nicht viele mit einer so angenehmen Atmosphäre und so authentischem Essen. Eine echte Empfehlung!

Das Essen und der Umgang mit den Gästen waren schrecklich; ich wurde überhaupt nicht bedient, und als ich das ansprach, interessierte es niemanden. Es war eine Schande.

Einfach ein tolles Lokal mit Wohfühlcharakter. Netter Service durch den Besitzer und seine Frau, die hervorragend deutsch sprechen. Das Essen, ich hatte Calamari vom Grill mediterran lecker, wie ein Urlaubsabend in Spanien und das mitten in Schwabing. Ich bin sehr begeistert. Das Lokal war voll bis auf den letzten Platz und das spricht für das Lokal. Preis Leistung stimmen!

Wir waren in einer großen Gruppe (17 Personen) im Los Faroles in München und hatten einen rundum fantastischen Abend. Das Essen war einfach großartig - qualitativ hochwertig, hervorragend zubereitet und geschmacklich ein echtes Highlight. Die Live-Musik war sehr gut, stimmungsvoll und gleichzeitig angenehm unterhaltsam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Besonders erwähnenswert ist auch die exzellente Wein- und Getränkekarte, die perfekt zum Essen passt und keine Wünsche offenlässt. Der gesamte Abend war geprägt von einer tollen Atmosphäre, guter Stimmung und einem sehr aufmerksamen Service. Fazit: Ein absolut gelungener Abend, den wir alle in bester Erinnerung behalten haben. Klare Empfehlung – wir kommen definitiv wieder! :-)

Super, authentischer Spanier mit bestem Essen und Getränken. Urig eingerichtet, nichts ist "hipp". Wir kommen immer wieder.

Die Paella und die Fischgerichte waren köstlich, der Service jedoch etwas langsam, daher empfiehlt es sich, frühzeitig zu bestellen. Die Atmosphäre ist freundlich und hat ein authentisches, lokales Flair.

Mein Freund und ich waren gestern Abend hier essen und es war ein wunderschönes Erlebnis. Sehr leckeres und authentisches spanisches Essen in gemütlicher Atmosphäre. Wir haben die Meeresfrüchte-Paella, die gegrillten Sardinen und den Pulpo nach galicischer Art genossen (leider keine Fotos von den Tapas, die waren im Nu weg …). Es gab auch zwei verschiedene Albariño-Sorten, meiner Meinung nach einer der besten galicischen Weißweine und gar nicht so leicht zu finden! Vielen Dank an die Gastgeber, die uns so herzlich willkommen geheißen haben.

Ich bin so froh, hier gegessen zu haben – eines der leckersten Gerichte und der herzlichste Service. Vielen Dank an das Team von Los Faroles, wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit und können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Besonders begeistert waren wir von der Weinauswahl, der Paella und der Chorizo. Wir fühlten uns wie Gäste in einem privaten Zuhause und nicht wie Kunden – ein einzigartiges Erlebnis in München. The owner is very friendly and even treated us to a liqueur at the end of our meal—a lovely gesture! The prices are fair. Both cash and card payments are accepted. The portions were quite big in comparison to other tapas places in Munich. All of the food we ordered were delicious. You could almost feel like you are in Spain. Los Faroles is a real insider tip for anyone who wants to experience traditional cuisine in an authentic atmosphere. As soon as you enter, you'll notice the lovingly designed furnishings: rustic wooden tables, handmade ceramics on the walls and warm colors create an environment that is reminiscent of a classic Spanish tavern. The cozy atmosphere and the subtle music in the background make your stay particularly pleasant. A real highlight was the carne estofada. The meat was incredibly tender and seemed to melt in your mouth. The taste was intense and balanced - you can immediately tell that time and care were taken in cooking here. The sauce was rich, with a depth of flavor that only comes from slow braising. It was a dish that impressed with both its simplicity and its quality. The service was attentive, friendly and warm. Time was taken to answer questions and make recommendations without it seeming artificial. Everything seemed authentic and honest – just like the food. If you love Spanish cuisine and value a warm, inviting atmosphere, you should definitely pay a visit to Los Faroles. It's one of those places where you immediately feel at home - and want to come back

On our trip to Munich we were looking for Spanish food restaurants. And we were lucky to find this restaurant. If the food itself seemed excellent to us, the treatment that the owners gave us was even better. A sure hit for anyone who dares to go.

Betritt man das Restaurant, fühlt man sich unmittelbar in die 70-er Jahre des letzten Jahrhunderts zurück katapultiert. Interieur, Publikum, Geschirr und Besteck haben dieses Jahrzehnt vermutlich schon erlebt. In der Beurteilung der Speisen schließe ich mich einfachhalber den Kommentaren von vor fünf Jahren an: Fisch und Fleisch von Grill gut, Beilagen von Groß-Caterer bezogen und aufwandslos beigefügt. Aioli charakterlos und vermutlich ebenfalls aus Groß-Catererlieferung. Daher fällt die Beurteilung des Preis-/Leistungsverhältnisses trotz (relativ) moderater absoluter Preis bestenfalls als gut aus. Bin gespannt, ob das Arrangement in 50 Jahren immer noch unverändert vorzufinden ist.

A place from times gone by where you can feel the atmosphere of home in the true sense of the word: it's all a bit old and messy but it feels great! The cuisine is excellent and, like the place, it feels like home. The service is friendly and always home-style. Recommended for a leap into the past.

Cozy restaurant in Schwabing. We reserved a table in advance. It is recommended on Sunday. The staff is super friendly. The selection of food is really good. There isn't much for vegetarians, but I had a huge tortilla de patatas that was super tasty. The sangría tastes excellent.

The ambience is most likely something for those nostalgic for the 80s. In the men's bathroom there is even an original wall ashtray with original ashes in it. Don't worry, everything is very clean and well maintained. The food was very tasty, hearty and, in my opinion, 100% authentic. To have a show like this in Munich! So if you want it to be cozy and not fancy, you can have a good time here. An absolute insider tip for a species. There are clearly a lot of regular guests, which is a good sign in itself. It could be that round reservation would make sense. When everything is full and there is still space at the bar, you come and ask if tapas are served there.

At the Los Faroles restaurant we repeatedly experience the warm hospitality of the team in service and in the kitchen. Perfectly prepared Spanish specialties are served to us attentively. Even if we just want to have a drink at the bar, with chilled cava, Rioja, sangria or a cool light Benedictine on tap, in conversation with an international audience, and in neighborly exchanges, we feel like we have arrived at home - in the authentic Iberian flair Peninsula. I was in Munich last month(March 2017), and I bumped into this spanish restaurant. They speak little english but they served go food and provide fast service. I tried their's stuffed mushroom and rabbit meat. Excellent taste! Price is reasonble.

Essen war lecker und gut. Die Portionen durchaus groß. Die Bedienung durch den Wirt super, durch die Kellnerin naja. Man sitzt typisch maxvorstadt auf dem Gehweg. Leider fährt hier die Tram vorbei, so dass es ab und an lauter ist.
