La Tasca Flamenca Bar de Tapas in München

I was there last Saturday at 12:30. Nobody sat there and nobody served. Someone from the kitchen said no one was there and didn't know when I should come again. I reserved seats and received a confirmation. I don't know if this is a one-time thing or not.

Since we often shop in Mitte Meer, we wanted to try La Tasca. The space inside is a little cramped but ok. The food is attractively prepared and delicious. Price completely okay. The staff is friendly and tries to withstand the rush of people waiting. Since we had reserved, it wasn't a problem for us. We'll definitely come back again.

Food is a bit on the pricey side. But the service and food were excellent.

This has never happened to me before. We reserved a table for 5 people to eat the day before. This was also kindly confirmed to us. When we sat in the restaurant today, there were 5 waiters around, but none of them served us even though we were the only guests. All the waiters sat at the counter and were busy with their cell phones. After we tried to draw attention 3-4 times and 40 minutes had passed. We left. I really advise everyone to avoid this restaurant.

First time at La Tasca Flamenca for dinner after the trip to Umadum. Small but nice restaurant. Great food and great service. However, you should reserve a table in advance. This was certainly not our last visit here to the restaurant.

Went here spontaneously because we wanted a drink and a snack and there were nice seats available outside. Had delicious mussels and shrimps and an Aperol and sat nicely.

If it had been possible, I would not have given the service a star rating. The location of the restaurant is great (next to Ostbahnhof) and looks good, but the food and service do not correspond to the first impression. I was very disappointed, to be honest. Before the visit I read a few reviews about poor service, but I wanted to try it myself and make sure it was true. 1)Drinks. Not all drinks you find on the menu are available. Why are they there anyway? 2)Prices... if you pay almost 25 euros for cold paella, then I don't expect cooked rice? 3) Service… very embarrassing. Why do guests have to wait a long time for the waiters? I called them several times, they always seemed to not have seen/heard me... I then asked for receipts to pay and received a short answer: "My colleague is coming soon" and waited for this colleague for about 20 minutes. I think if I hadn't reminded them again, none of the staff would have noticed that we hadn't paid for our table. This restaurant seemed to have such a good reputation, but in reality it is not like that. Dear readers, I wish that you do not have the same experience and that the restaurant only develops in this area, so that what I experienced was never the case once :)))

The food was overpriced for this quality, that was below average. They managed to make Paella too dry and too soft at the same time. Also we asked to serve the meal at the same time for all 6 people. 3 of us had to wait for Paella more than announced time and the other 3 have already finished the food by the time Paella finally arrived. The service was unexperienced, often just ignored us and we had to wait for a long time to get anything - drinks, food, the bill. Though we booked a table for 6 one month in advance it wasn't ready when the first ones of our group showed up and they were just told to take a table for 4 person. And it wasn't even crowded there that evening. Very disappointing experience.

A really great tapas bar with authentic food - there were also some Spanish-speaking guests there, which further confirmed the impression. We had a paella and three different tapas with sangria - all really highly recommended. The service was very warm and accommodating. Only in the end we had to wait a long time for the bill and ended up paying in the store. The atmosphere was also great with Spanish music.

Unfortunately, it's not very Spanish. The patata bravas for 9.20 euros are really a joke. Also without sauces like we know from Spain. Otherwise the portions are. The prices are not appropriate...sorry...you can expect more....

The service is too slow, we have been waiting for an hour for the paella but still nothing comes in the end. It is not reasonable to serve so many tables with such a tiny kitchen. Not recommended!!!

we have ordered medallions and potatos from tapas menu + sangrias (classic and cava one) the meat was good, potatos were dry and oily at the same time sangrias were ok, but the cava one tasted like a cheap cocktail rather than a sangria bonus: they have sold us the overpriced water, when we in fact ordered a tap one

Very tasty traditional food. There is a Spanish supermarket at the back, which on the one hand is recommended because of its range, but on the other hand it also resulted in many customers walking through the restaurant to the supermarket. Therefore 1 point deducted for the ambience.

While the food was pretty good, it’s been a long time since I received such poor service. For everything we ordered, we had to remind the staff multiple times before they brought it to us. And we only received our wine and water 30 minutes after food was served and after multiple reminders. When they finally brought it out, they didnt bring enough glasses and only wine glasses - nothing for water. We were with three persons, so not impossible to count ;) At the end of the meal, they requested a tip 😅. I wont be going back there. That’s for sure.

Food was good but prices were completely exorbitant. Service was the worst I've experienced in a long time. We waited about 30 minutes for drinks after ordering. We ordered more bread which, after asking twice, never came. Of course it was still on the bill. Of course, no one apologized for this. Some tables weren't cleared for a long time. Never again

REGRETTABLE FOOD AND SERVICE. FOOD POISONING. The service has been very bad, it took 15 minutes until they took our order. The waiter didn't even know the dishes on the menu and every time we asked him something he went to the kitchen to ask (I've counted at least three trips). We ordered a “tortilla”, which as seen in the photos is a skewer of reheated tortilla that looks like it comes from a container; and we also ordered a meat paella. It was by far the worst paella I have ever eaten in my life (Peas, carrots and beans in the paella 👀, not to mention the non-existent socarrat). The cooks have no idea about Spanish cuisine. To end the night better it turns out that we got food poisoning and from the other reviews I have read it is not an isolated case. Expensive, poor quality food and terrible service.

We made a reservation here based on a recommendation from a friend. It took a while before we could order, but that's understandable on a Saturday evening. Unfortunately, something went wrong with our order due to a "technical error", which is why we were lost on the way to the kitchen, but it only seemed to have affected us. When the tapas arrived after more than an hour, the portion sizes and the quality were more than manageable. The tortilla espanola tasted pre-made and was only a small piece, some of the food was already cold, which didn't help. We can't recommend the Albondigas either. The croquettas were still frozen inside. It wasn't all bad, the chicken in nacho panada tasted good and the chocolate souffle also tasted great. But in general we can't recommend the restaurant, you'd better look for something else.

A very nice Spanish restaurant. The service is very good and everyone is really friendly. They have an amazing Paella, and the traditional Sangria is a great option in summer time.

The prices are too high for the quality and especially portions of the food.

Food tastes pretty tasty, but in my opinion the price-performance ratio just doesn't fit. So we only ordered two tapas per person - I was still hungry afterwards. The waiter had to serve the entire store alone... he did his best and was friendly, but the service still suffered. We had to wait a very long time. The ambience outside might be quite nice because of the Ferris wheel, but inside it might be nice because you're half sitting in the supermarket next door.

Good food, a good experience! Totally suggested.

*Very expensive and poor quality* It was frankly disappointing, we were first at the supermarket and seeing the product they had we decided to have dinner at their restaurant. While it is true that the waiters were very friendly and served us well, the food left much to be desired. Of what we ordered, the only thing that we liked and thought was worth it were the croquettes and the scallops. We also ordered fried fish, salad and secret. I think that for the price that „the tapas“ have, the quality should be much better. The fish was dry and didn't taste fresh (I know it's frozen, but there are still quality frozen ones), the salad was just mayonnaise. I couldn't say what it was (I'd swear it was the frying) but we ended up sick all night. As a Spaniard I try not to judge harshly places that represent our cuisine and I try to understand that the products that are available in Germany cannot be compared to the quality that exists in origin (especially the fish). Even so, I think that in terms of cuisine, they have room for improvement.

Everything was amazing. Food was excellent, service was so kind and attentive. We had a lovely time and were able to have intimate conversation with good music in the background.

Very tasty food, the various tapas were excellent! The Crocetas de la abuela are recommended! 3 tapas are enough for you to be very hungry! 1 star deducted because the costs are a little above average.

Pan con tomate was delicious! Enough choice from the drinks menu. Service was fine. The food (paella, pan con ajiollo, deditos de pollo) was really substandard The view of the supermarket (inside) was also not attractive. We won't be coming back here.

We have been several times in recent years, and the quality is always spectacular. All the food is of the same quality as what we find in Spain, if not better than many places. The staff is always attentive.

First time here, really nice food, I had the Paella with seafood. A little bit pricy, but still worth it. However, the orders took more than 1 hour to prepare. This is also acceptable, but what annoyed me for real was the flyes... So many flyes that bothered us while eating. I am sure they can find a way to clear the place from them.

We came here with the children. The service is fluent in English, German is a bit bumpy. Anyone who speaks Spanish is particularly welcome. But the staff is incredibly service-oriented. The portions are large and very fresh. The menu states that the paella takes 30 minutes to prepare as it is freshly prepared. Here, good basic products become even better dishes. A special gimmick is the Mediterranean supermarket, which can be reached through the restaurant. We will be back. It was delicious and we felt comfortable. The prices are also reasonable. Thank you for an all around good dinner.

We spontaneously went to La Tasca for a very late lunch and sat outside with a view of the Ferris wheel. There was relatively little going on at the time, so the service was correspondingly quick. The food was very good and highly recommended! You can also easily combine a visit to the restaurant with shopping in the Mediterranean. The prices are okay for Munich, although not cheap.

Food was so so. My girlfriend made better paella the first time she tried.

The food is very good and of high quality, but unfortunately the staff is a bit slow and communication with the owner didn't work at all. We were at the restaurant for a team event and had agreed on the menu and vegetarian options months beforehand, but no one knew when our group arrived and we were served the fish paella instead of the vegetarian option that had been agreed upon. A pity! :/ For these reasons we will not visit the restaurant again.

Worst dining experience EVER!!!!! 7.50 euros Fusel wines are sold for 39.00 euros. The supposedly good bottled wine turned out to be a gummy bear concoction. Food is at best mediocre, service non-existent. Customer orientation is ZERO. When we wanted to complain about wine, we were told that we had no idea and that we had to pay for everything or the police would be called. So if you want to spend your evening with cheeky and clueless waiters and then also want to be insulted by the boss himself, this address is the first recommendation!

There were six of us here with a reservation. Sat outside. The service was completely fine, the food was quite tasty. The paella was good, but the rice was a bit undercooked. The tapas were delicious, only the chicken sticks were dry.

Perfect service from your Donosti waiter and very good food, the spectacular bravas and ham croquettes.

We reserved online - confirmation came and a reminder on the day of the reservation but the restaurant was closed!!! Several people with reservations stood around helpless and had the same problem as us. Something like that just doesn't work!!! Then you have to block the reservation system on the day if you cannot or do not want to open the restaurant due to a film shooting outside.

They offer magnificent service, with authentic and delicious food as well as a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for lovers of Spanish food.

Very tasty tapas, but difficult to get as the catering tends to ignore you. We were a larger group and would have liked to generate even more sales. Seats outside are rather cramped and uncomfortable.

Yesterday the four of us spontaneously went to La Tasca. We got a spot outside. Despite the bad weather, we stayed relatively dry under the large umbrellas. Unfortunately the service is not that great, the waiters probably only spoke English? Which wouldn't have been a bad thing if it had been brought up beforehand. So, unsuspecting, we ordered drinks and food in German. The drinks also came relatively quickly. As a starter we ordered bread with garlic cream. The cream came along with a few tapas that were ordered as the main course. There was no bread for a long time until all the main courses were on the table. Unfortunately there was also a misunderstanding when ordering a main course, but we let it go. We all found it a bit disorganized...The taste of the food was really great!

Small restaurant with few tables. Without a reservation you have no chance here. The food was good and the price was reasonable. Unfortunately the service left something to be desired. It all took a very, very long time, we were served the wrong food, chairs were removed from the table even though we pointed out that someone else would be coming and generally speaking in German it was rather difficult. If you ignore all of this, you can spend a nice and entertaining evening here (definitely in a larger group).

Tapas with canned mushrooms, goat cheese lukewarm, scampi tasteless.

It's a shame, the food would definitely have been delicious if you had gotten it. The location is far too small for the number of tables. Everything seems very improvised. Communication between service and guests rather difficult. We were a large group and the service staff was completely overwhelmed with our orders. After 1 1/2 hours I still didn't get the food I ordered. Because something probably went wrong when taking the order. Such a shame. And as we noticed, the other guests in the restaurant also had similar experiences. The service staff was more concerned with somehow arranging seating for new guests who came without a reservation than with the order we placed.

During our visit to "La Tasca" we had the pleasure of eating and drinking our way through the price list - we didn't miss the beer for €6.10. The answer to our request for a jug of tap water was all the more surprising: "We don't actually do that." The tapas seemed to have their own schedule and took their time - some so long that they didn't arrive until the bill. A hit in terms of taste, but rather a low blow in terms of price.

The company deletes critical reviews from Google Maps. I was accused of defamation for an objective review of food, price and service. I won't let myself be belittled and will now report on my experience.

Some of the dishes we ordered were not available. However, this was only announced after about 30 minutes of waiting. The dishes were also very salty. The price/performance ratio doesn't fit at all. The service staff seemed completely overwhelmed. Our first and last visit to this location.

Came with two people. Only one of us was eating the other was drinking. Was told both of us were not eating they will not seat us. This did not make sense.. what if one person ate just as much as two people: this can’t be the way you do business.

We liked it, it tasted good. Sitting in the passage to the delicatessen supermarket is also very nice and makes you hungry right from the start.

We had a reservation, but a very rude gentleman at the reception told us that he no longer had a table and then ignored us and talked to the people behind us and left us standing there like stupid. Unbelievable and therefore not recommended if that is what you mean by hospitality

Came here spontaneously and got a table straight away. Since we like Spanish food, this was perfect. The food came at good intervals, so that we had just finished the starter. The guys in service seem to get along well and it shows. Very relaxed interaction, which is reflected on the guests. Unfortunately, they were a little too busy joking with each other that they were often overlooked when ordering drinks or paying. That was a shame but not bad either. It's no different in Barcelona either. As a starter we ordered Pan con Tomate, it was beautifully prepared and tasted wonderful, as the main course we ordered Paella (really good) and as dessert we had Crema Catalana. In short, it was a really nice evening and we will recommend the restaurant to anyone who ever finds their way to Munich. The next day I stormed the small supermarket and bought some Spanish food for home. Top!

We had a reservation for 4 people. We arrived and had to wait about 10 minutes for someone to come to us. Despite a reservation, there was no free table for four, which is why the last two tables for two were placed in the aisle very provisionally. We took a seat and another quarter of an hour passed before we got tickets on our own initiative. After ordering drinks, we had to wait another half hour to find a waiter to order, only to be told that there was no more paella, which is what we came for. Overall, it's a shame, the food and the paella, which some tables were still able to order, looked very good. We then left. No recommendation unless you pre-order.

I wish I could have tried their food and comment on that. Unfortunately, they didn't accept our reservation, even though we made it on their own online system. When we arrived there they simply said it's full and rather than acknowledging it was a problem in their system the host seemed annoyed and kept pointing at his list saying that they're obviously full and it was on us for not calling instead. Terrible service and so unfortunate we couldn't try their food, which does look great.

Once and never again. If you want to wait a long time (> 1 hour) for your food, La Tasca is the right place for you. The service only comes to the table when asked and deserves 0 stars - unfortunately rating is not possible. Absolute disappointment.

Reserved for a company dinner, our table was given to another group at the agreed time. We stood in the way for 20 minutes as ordered and not picked up and finally left again. Too bad, the food looked delicious.

Oh I see my review was deleted by a lawyer, so I'm writing it again. I reserved a table using Google and was sent home anyway because there was no room. Now the review can be deleted again, thank you very much! I would be happy to send the reservation for confirmation next time. It was clear that they would try to delete the review again. Now I have sent the confirmation of the reservation. The lawyer also makes a nice threat: "Furthermore, we would like to draw your attention and the evaluator to be informed to the fact that, according to the judgment of the Cologne District Court of December 30, 2013, the legal costs incurred must be borne by the evaluator, even and especially if only the host provider was used . (AG Cologne, judgment of December 30, 2015, ref. 147 C 139/12)"

The only bad attention we have had on the entire trip.

We have been at both locations of La Tasca Flamenca and this one is by far the worst. The service is terrible, we waited 40 minutes before ordering the drink. The food has low quality and the expensive. Having an aperitif outside when it’s warm is ok. Save your money if you expect a good dinner or a pleasant atmosphere.

What incredible service! I organized a work dinner here for 45 people. They served us "flying tapas" that just kept coming! There was the perfect amount of food and they always checked that we had enough. Drinks were quick and everyone was incredibly friendly. I can't recommend more for a large group! We just had to sit down and decide on drinks and the rest was done for us!

Top place, top service, nice menu - I recommend!

The tapas are super delicious. We always order lots of different ones and share them across the table. The roasted peppers over the Manchego cheese on a piece of bread is super delicious 😋

Extremely expensive for such small dishes and without much quality. We ordered some croquettes that came frozen, although they changed them quickly but in general, everything was prepared and very small. If you are Spanish or know Spanish cuisine well, you will be disappointed.

Better go somewhere else for food. Drinks are nice though. There are plenty of nice Tapas places in Munich, but this is not one of them. No one else to blame than the manager. Hire more staff. It's not fair for two people to run the whole place. Addition from 2024: In line with my previous comment, this place has really horrible management. The owner had a lawyer contact Google claiming that we never ate here and thus this review is malicious and fraudulent. However, we have proof that we ate here on 11.07.2022 and spent 180.30€ (for 3 people). I think this attitude to honest business reviews is not acceptable and should be called out. I have no idea how many non-favourable reviews have been removed this way. If they would have tried to contact me directly and ask, we could have had a meaningful discussion. But instead they chose to go directly through a lawyer. Therefore I change my rating to a 1-star review.

Although I have been here before, this time, half of the dishes we ordered were not available and they did not inform us while ordering and not even while we were eating, to be able to order something else. Only after we asked where our dishes were, they told us they were sold out. The homemade Sangria was great

We were very disappointed. First of all, really extremely expensive for the quality and location. In terms of taste, it's not really impressive, it's lower class. 1 forgot to eat, waited almost 40 minutes, everyone else had already finished eating. Then my tortilia was no better than the ones at Lidl jnd Co. Km were as small as a small piece of cake and I think over 10 euros for it. Across the way, all 6 people were not satisfied with the price, performance and taste. But the waitress was very nice and friendly and did her job very well. Then we sit there in an open restaurant that is directly connected to a grocery store and constantly walk around and then talk right next to our table.. sorry MC would have been better..

Very loud indeed. Service friendly but could be more attentive. For example, no glasses were served with the large water that was ordered, and no ones were set. Some of the food was very, very well salted.

0 Sterne durch und durch, wir sind noch nicht einmal rein. Erster Eindruck war ein Kellner, der so nach Schweiß gerochen hat, dass wir ihn schon beim Betreten gerochen haben. Trotz Reservierung gab es für uns keinen Tisch. Wir hätten ja am gleichen Tag online reserviert und das System weiß ja nicht, wann sie voll sind, laut Kellner. Er kann da ja jetzt nix dafür. Einfach eine frechheit!!

Ich habe am 17.1.24 mit zwei sehr lieben Bekannt-innen Ihr Restaurant besucht. Vorweg: wir alle waren sehr zufrieden! Ihr Essen: Der zarte Pulpo mit extra Knoblauch; der Rioja; Der Service. Alles war ausgezeichnet. Wir kommen wieder. Ganz herzlichen Dank an die Küche und Ihren sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service.

Essen war gut, Service unterirdisch (nicht existent). Zwanzig Minuten auf die Initialbestellung gewartet. Zum zahlen bin ich dann nach abernals fünfzehn Minuten aufgestanden und musste mich fast aufdrängen. Draußen dann ein fröhliches "Tschüß" von Seiten der Bedienung(en). Keine Ahnung, was das für eine Art Service sein soll, mir hat es nicht getaugt.

Finde das Ambiente leider nicht so toll, da es an den Supermarkt angrenzt. Essen war okay aber für den Preis hatte ich höhere Erwartungen. Service bemüht aber auch recht langsam und das System war nicht ganz einleuchtend (nur eine Kellnerin nimmt Bestellungen auf, der Rest serviert und begrüßt die Gäste…) alles in einem war’s nicht schlecht aber würd tendenziell woanders tapas essen in München

Um 18 Uhr reserviert und trotzdem keinen Platz bekommen. Finger weg.
