German “tapas” at a hefty price. Unfortunately, the price/performance and service are not right here.

I think it is the worst Spanish food restaurant in Munich without a doubt. I went yesterday with some friends for a birthday and was quite disappointed. The squid had no flavor, the croquettes with ham (which the waitress recommended to us) was a sweet potato croquette and bacon on top, and the meatballs were nothing more. The patatas bravas with aioli were delicious, that's true. The best is a liter of sangria for €30, which is rancid on top of that. I will not return, a shame because Spanish food is not like that.

Excellent tapas restaurant. All fresh and well cooked. Excellent choice of meat, fish, cheese and vegetable dishes. Some interesting wines!

Overpriced tapas in very small sizes. There is a lot more for the money at other tapas bars in Munich. My highlight were the 2 small lamb chops for almost €13 (!), which were really delicious. The rest was ok, but nothing special. It's very loud inside, you can hardly have a conversation. I often had to flag down the waiter to order something to drink, which was a bit tedious. It's a shame, we won't go there again.

Three years later and it may be even better! A very good tapas selection. The staff were friendly and the quality of the offerings was impressive.

Unfortunately, the waitress informed me in a very unfriendly manner that I had supposedly sat down at a reserved table after her VERY friendly colleague had already started the service. It doesn't work at all! Otherwise, the ambience and food are excellent and actually deserve five stars. 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Reserved tables are given away after 15 minutes after initially ignoring punctual customers. Went there 15 minutes later and waited 5 minutes until the lady stopped ignoring us. In the meantime we even asked a colleague who referred us to the same lady again. Tables in front of us were given to people who hadn't reserved. Then it was our turn to say we were too late now. Bad joke. Then not.

Very good and very friendly, reasonable price.

It took an hour for our dish to come after ordering and when we came in the restaurant wasn’t even full. The food was tasty but some of the tapas has a very small portion so it may not be for a big eater.

Great food. Great service in Spanish if you want. I will add El pollo de la Casa to my recipe book. Be careful with the tapas: Grande raciónes. Really highly recommended.

Very good choice of tapas. We tried a lot and all were very tasty. The main dishes were also good. The service was quick and friendly.

Some dishes are good, as are some drinks. Unfortunately, the tinto de verano isn't a good choice. If it's crowded, prepare your patience, it might take a while to get serviced...

Very good Spaniard with a totally Spanish flair, some selection, really tasty food and friendly staff. Had pimientos al patrón, gambas al ajillo, paella classica and crema catalan and were very satisfied and so full. We are really looking forward to the next time. To be on the safe side, make a reservation, others know that El Perro is good...

We had a very nice evening, the food was excellent, very tasty, great tapas! It was very busy, table reservations recommended. There were even some free parking spaces near the restaurant, otherwise not far from the Ostbahnhof.

I didn't even get to try the food because the waiter came to me 20 minutes after I ordered the steak to inform me that it would take 40 minutes if I wanted my steak well done. He said that the chef told him that. When I asked if it would be quicker if I ordered the steak medium, he said yes, it would be quick. I should order something from the menu that the chef has probably already prepared. The store was well attended. So the minimum stars for the service and the food and two for the ambience. If he had told me the truth right away, I would of course be willing to order another meal. So it only remained with one specialist.

Superleckeres Essen, Top Service und tolles Ambiente. Wir waren zum Abendessen als eine Gruppe von Freunden dort und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gab eine riesige Auswahl an kalten und warmen Tapas, allesamt extrem lecker! Preislich völlig in Ordnung und der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend, Extrawünsche wurden gerne erfüllt. Wir kommen wieder!

The food was very tasty again today, unfortunately the service was not good. We were hardly noticed and you just had the feeling that you were annoying the waitress. I wanted to order a second drink several times, but when I managed to do it after 20 minutes, they simply forgot about it. It's a shame because the food is really good and I'm otherwise happy with the service.

Very nice shop! Were in a larger chaotic birthday group. Waiters very nice and attentive. The food was good even though I'm personally not a fan of tapas.

We arrived early without a reservation. The staff were happy to seat us and helped out with English where we needed. By the time we left the place was packed. Such a great atmosphere. Terrific tapas and great variety. We tried almost one of each tapas option and they were all delicious. Stand out was the sea scallops and the gambas. Yum!!

Wir waren zum Abendessen dort. Die Tapas waren sehr lecker und die Auswahl ist groß! Service sehr nett und aufmerksam. Preise für tapas fair.

Ich hatte für eine Gruppe von 14 Personen einen Tisch nach 22 Uhr abends reserviert. Mein Problem war, ich wusste nicht genau wann die vorherige Veranstaltung beendet ist. So blieb ich mit dem Restaurant telefonisch in Kontakt. Wir kamen leider erst um 22:45 an. Wir waren äußerst positiv überrascht , dass ein Tisch für uns freigehalten und schön gedeckt war und - obwohl die Küche gerade zumachte - mehrere kalte Platten und diverse Tapas Gerichte für uns serviert wurden. Der sehr freundliche und kompetente Service sagte uns das sei doch selbstverständlich und kein Problem. So konnten wir noch einen wunderschönen Abend im "El Perro" mit tollem Essen und gutem Wein geniessen. Ein Dankeschön von uns allen an das Team für die perfekte Gastfreundlichkeit und den aufmerksamen Service. Beim nächsten Mal steht das Lokal schon auf meiner "To do Liste"

One of the closest “Spanish vibes” restaurant I could find in Munich until now. Friendly staff, good food and drinks.

Das El Perro war wunderbar. Ein gelungener Abend mit der Firma, mit kalten Getränken und leckeren Essen! Die Tapas waren nicht zu klein oder zu groß, so das man sich durch probieren konnte. Über Datteln im Speckmantel, über Shrimps mit Knoblauch, Albondigas und anderen leckeren Schälchen, war für alle Leute was dabei. Die Nachspeise war Schokoladenkuchen und ne Creme Katalan... Wow! Danke für den tollen Abend!

Tolle Tapas-Bar in der Nähe vom Ostbahnhof. Jedes Mal aufs Neue super lecker. Als Tipp: Lasst euch überraschen und warme / kalte Tapas vom Personal zusammenstellen. Wurde noch nie von der Auswahl enttäuscht. Pflicht bleiben natürlich trotzdem „Pimientos de Padron“😋

Die kalte Tapasplatte war interessant, aber nicht umwerfend. Die Datteln im Speckmantel und die Chorizo waren etwas zu stark gebraten. Wirklich positiv überrascht haben mich die mellierten Sardellen.

Super leckeres Essen, netter Service

Bestes mediterranes Essen zu günstigen Preisen. Tolle Bar und Tische in rauschender, prickelnder Atmosphäre. Bleibt hoffentlich weiter DER Geheimtip in München!

Trotz Reservierung war erstmal kein Tisch frei und wir mussten ca. 10 Minuten warten. Die Mitarbeiterin war aber sehr freundlich. Das Essen war insg. recht gut, nur die Chorizo war z.T. schwarz und bitter weil angebrannt. Das Ambiente ist authentisch (war schon ein paar mal in Spanien Tapas essen), aber sehr laut so dass es schwierig ist sich normal zu unterhalten.

Vielleicht kommen wir mal wieder, vielleicht auch nicht. Es gibt andere Tapas Restaurantes in der Nähe. Diese werden wir vorerst bevorzugen, da das Essen dort ebenso schmeckt, die Bedienung aber keinen bitteren Nachgeschmack hinterlässt. Es geht um gutes Essen und Trinken, bittere Geschmäcker im Nachhinein sollte man daher vermeiden. Essen Lecker, Ambiente entspannt und gesellig! ABER: der Betreiber scheint die Ausbildung oder Anzahl der Bedienung zu vernachlässigen. Die Bedienung war generell nett, fällt aber durch Planlosigkeit und Überforderung auf: falsche Zuordnung der Bestellung auf die richtigen Tische; falsche Bestellungen; lange Wartezeiten bei der Bestellung; vergessene Bestellung. Das hätte ich mir noch alles gefallen lassen, aber was dann doch sehr unglücklich war, war die Erwähnungen dieser Mangel beim Mitarbeiter mit „sie sind nicht der einzige dem es so geht“ als Antwort sich anhören zu müssen.

Hervorragende Tapas Bar im Herzen Münchens, die wirklich authentische Spanische Gerichte serviert. Das Ambiente spiegelt ebenfalls den typischen Charakter einer Tapas Bar wieder.

Essen war sehr lecker. Der Service unaufgeregt freundlich. Einzig den MaiTai fand ich etwas klein und langweilig und dafür zu teuer, aber sonst war alles sehr gut. Das Brot zum Essen war superlecker.

Tasty food, not extraordinary, lively atmosphere, good wine choice, worth a try. The tapas are really good.

Sehr schöne Tapas Bar ungefähr 7,60€ pro Tapas

Wir kennen Spanien sehr gut und haben dort zahlreiche Tapasbars besucht. El Perro y El Griego ist ein Tapas-Restaurant der Extraklasse! Sehr schönes, authentisches spanisches Ambiente. Das Mitarbeiterteam ist professionell und super freundlich. Die Tapas - und wir haben uns durch einen großteil der Karte gearbeitet - sind ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus! Meine Weinempfehlung ist der Marques des Murrieta, ein Rioja Reserva der Extraklasse zu einem wirklich fairen Preis. Auch der offene Rotwein ist gut! Das Restaurant wird gut frequentiert, daher ist es gut einen Tisch zu bestellen. Ich möchte das Ganze Team recht herzlich Grüßen, bei unserem nächsten Besuch stehen wir wieder auf der Matte. Die 3 die für 4 gegessen haben!

Waren gestern Abend dort und reserviert. Hatten unseren Platz direkt an der Cocina und haben herausragend gegessen. Thuna sashimi HÄHNCHEN, Süßkartoffel Bällchen und wunderbaren Rioja, ein wunderbarer Abend mit sehr lieben und freundlichen Gastgebern. Bestens organisiert.

Hab mich auf Spanisches Essen gefreut und wurde sehr enttäuscht. Teilweise nicht erkennbar und die warmen Tapas ( Hackfleischbällchen) waren kalt! Bedienung wirkte etwas unkonzentriert und hat auch unsere warmen Tapas erst nach nochmaligem Nachfragen gebracht🙈 Aber das Bier war gut 👍

The restaurant is located in a very nice and convenient area. The atmosphere inside was good however a but tight table arrangement. Food-wise was good but we expected a bit more variety in of the tapas in the menu.

Wie soll ich sagen leider die schlechtesten Tapas die ich jemals gegessen habe. Jakobsmuscheln mit irgendeiner Chips Variante Tatsächlich drei Jakobsmuscheln Zitronensorbet mit Koriander Dass auch das beste an diesen Tapas war. (Gibt den Spruch wenn irgendwas nicht schmeckt viel Koriander) Dann gegrillter Octopus garniert mit Sojasprossen die leider so schmecken wie Klo riecht Also insgesamt maximal enttäuschend! Wie kann man so edle Produkte So vermurksten! Dann ein Glas Riocha dazu,das so dermaßen warm war das ich Eis dazu bestellte.

La comida estaba buena. Los camareros atentos y muy amables. Calidad precio no esta mal. Que no hay que olvidarse donde estas.

Als wir kamen wurden wir gleich nett empfangen und konnten uns noch einen Tisch aussuchen. Wir haben aber reserviert. Es war ein bisschen eng und ein bisschen laut aber irgendwie hat das nach kurzer Zeit nicht mehr gestört. Die Tapas waren durchweg richtig richtig gut. Der Service war prompt, hat auch immer wieder die Schälchen mitgenommen damit mehr Platz ist. Wir hatten eigentlich nichts zu beanstanden. Die Location ist super zentral und am besten mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Wir waren mit dem Auto dort und haben 10 Min lang einen Parkplatz gesucht... Also ausreichend Zeit einplanen ;-) Eine tolle Adresse im Münchner Osten - Daumen hoch. Wir kommen wieder

despacito...take time to enjoy. we jumped in without a reservation just to have a bite because we were in the neighborhood. a very friendly waiter said that we sit at the bar counter. ok. albondingas (meatballs), shrimp in garlic/olive oil, fried sardines...yummy!!

We had to take a business trip to Munich lat in the year. We were staying a better than average business hotel nearby, but wanted to meet an old friend for dinner. Our friend picked the place, which he knew as a regular when he lived in the neighborhood. It was a comfortable old place, with the wooden tables and chairs. On a Tuesday night, it wasn't crowded (but on Saturday, when we wanted a return trip, it was impossible to get a seat, which supports my review). I loved this place. Simple tapas and wonderful wine. Very good service - attentive but not intrusive. We did the wonderful tapas thing and ordered small plate after small plate and enjoyed every one. According to the locals, this neighborhood is an up and coming place but, however you find yourself near here, make sure to stop by El Perro and enjoy and wonderful dinner.
