Restaurant Einstein in München

Ein wunderschönes und elegantes Restaurant, das Essen war wirklich köstlich. Es dauerte etwas, bis es serviert wurde, aber das lag daran, dass vor uns eine große Gruppe da war. Der Service war freundlich. Das Fischgericht war sehr schmackhaft, aber die Portion war recht klein. Das Krapelach-Gericht war ebenfalls lecker und hatte eine angemessene Portionsgröße.

Ein Restaurant mit besonderer Atmosphäre- alleine schon wegen der ( leider wohl notwendigen) Einlasskontrolle. Die Bedienung sehr freundlich, aber etwas überfordert. Essen: leider kamen die Beilagen deutlich vor der Hauptspeise, so dass diese dann kalt waren. Essen ok, aber geschmacklich ausbaufähig. Das Fleisch des Schawarma war bei mir nicht besonders gut. Hummus als Vorspeise lecker. Für mich passte Preis/ Leistung nicht. Außergewöhnlich, aber nicht überragend.

Ich kann nicht beurteilen, wie viele Sterne dieser Ort wirklich verdient, da mir der Zutritt verweigert wurde, bevor ich überhaupt drin war. Aber manchmal sagt der erste Eindruck schon alles. Heute Mittag waren meine Freundin und ich dort, nachdem wir die guten Bewertungen gesehen hatten. Am Eingang wurden wir von einem Mitarbeiter/Sicherheitsmann (orientalisches Aussehen, schwarze Haare, schwarzer Mantel) begrüßt, der uns sofort fragte, ob wir reserviert hätten. Wir verneinten. Unmittelbar danach fragte er uns jedoch, woher wir kämen – eine Frage, die keinerlei Bezug zum Einlass haben sollte. Als wir antworteten, dass wir aus dem Libanon kommen, wurde uns der Zutritt verweigert. Ich empfand die Erfahrung als zutiefst unangenehm und diskriminierend. Ich hoffe sehr, dass die Geschäftsleitung diesen Vorfall ernst nimmt, denn kein Betrieb sollte Menschen aufgrund ihrer Nationalität oder Herkunft diskriminieren. Europa sollte für Respekt und Gleichbehandlung aller stehen. Hier ist kein Platz für Apartheid. Toda raba.

Das Essen war köstlich. Die Kellnerinnen waren sehr freundlich.

Ein nettes koscheres Restaurant in München. Es befindet sich in einem Gebäude der jüdischen Gemeinde. Von außen gibt es kaum Hinweisschilder. Der Eingang ist durch eine Sicherheitskontrolle und Panzerglas gesichert. Das Restaurant selbst ist freundlich und einladend. Das Essen ist köstlich und wärmend. Ich bestellte Schnitzel mit Pommes und einen israelischen Salat. Das Schnitzel mit Pommes war ein sehr gutes Gericht. Das Schnitzel war ausgezeichnet und die Pommes genau richtig gesalzen. Dazu gab es eine Art süß-saure Marmelade, die wahrscheinlich gut dazu passte. Der Salat war zwar etwas klein, aber völlig ausreichend. Die Preise sind angemessen und der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich konnte außerdem Mincha und Arivaz in der besonderen und schönen Synagoge beten.

Wir waren am Montag den 27.April bei Euch. Sehr sehr leckeres Essen und richtig coole Bedienung.Die junge Frau an unseren Tisch,die uns bedient hatte,war super. Auch an den Deutschen Fachkollegen ein großes Dankeschön für die sehr kompetente Beratung und den herzlichen Service.

Mein Partner und ich waren gestern Abend recht spät dort essen und waren insgesamt sehr begeistert. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, und auch der Wein hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir hatten im Voraus einen Tisch reserviert, und selbst die Sicherheitskontrolle verlief schnell und unkompliziert – sehr angenehm. Am meisten beeindruckt hat uns jedoch der Service: Unser Kellner war außergewöhnlich freundlich, und man spürte sofort, dass seine Herzlichkeit wirklich von innen kam. Mein Partner ist nicht ganz so vertraut mit Koscheren Essen und ihm wurde einiges sehr gut erklärt! Das war definitiv das Highlight unseres Abends.

Das Essen war okay, aber nicht so ein Highlight wie der Einlass am Empfang .Ambiente ist ein wenig wie in einer Kantine und es war auch relativ laut. Der Service war nett.

Wir hatten am Tag unserer Landung in München im Voraus einen Tisch für ein Familienessen mit Kindern reserviert. Bei unserer Ankunft teilte uns der Restaurantleiter mit, dass es heute keine Speisekarte gäbe, sondern nur ein einziges Gericht, das für Kinder ungeeignet sei, da eine andere Veranstaltung stattfände (das Restaurant war fast leer). Wir fragten, ob sie etwas anderes zubereiten könnten, zum Beispiel Schnitzel mit Pommes für die Kinder, die nach dem Flug hungrig waren, was jedoch verneint wurde. Wir erwähnten auch unsere Reservierung, gaben unsere E-Mail-Adresse und Telefonnummer an und erhielten E-Mail-Erinnerungen. Der Restaurantleiter sagte, er habe versucht, anzurufen (wir erhielten weder einen Anruf noch eine E-Mail über die Planänderung). Eine sehr unangenehme Erfahrung. Ich rate dringend davon ab, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen, da der Service absolut unzureichend ist.

Nicht zu verwechseln mit dem theoretischen Physiker, aber ein großartiger Ort ❤️

Dieses Restaurant hat uns gerettet! Wir hatten ein Event in MUC in einem 5 Sterne Haus. Leider haben wir zur Mittagszeit festgestellt, dass für einen der Gäste kein koscher Essen geplant wurde. Auch das hotel konnte so kurzfristig nicht helfen. Das Restaurant Einstein war dann die Rettung! Unkompliziert und schnell wurde uns hier geholfen und ein drei Gänge Menü zusammen gestellt und das ganze vom Anruf bis zur Entgegennahme im hotel bei etwas mehr als nur einer Stunde!!!unser Gast war happy und wir einfach nur erleichtert. Lieben Dank für diesen professionellen Support!!!!

The pleasure of a restaurant somewhere in faraway Munich First, let's start with the fact that the flavors of the dishes are usually no worse than anything we know in Israel The service is pompous and generous And the compliments on the dishes are something you won't find in places without competition... Amazing place the food is simple but really delicious and wholesome the service unbeatable we Gleb as are waiter which kept us entertained with his amazing humor and great knowledge of Munich and of course beer don't leave there without trying their beer menu there's nothing like it🏂!!! Elegant restaurant with absolutely beautifully presented and truly fine and delicious food! The service is top notch and yet relaxed with warm attitude as others had mentioned. It’s also quite and so easy to have a conversation, perhaps I was at the end of lunch hour. Highly recommend a visit and I will definitely be returning to this lovely place!

Excellent experience in a very clean and tidy restaurant. The staff was kind, helpful, and above all very honest, unlike other restaurants we've tried in Munich. They explained to us that the portions were very large and that the children could share them. They even gave us tap water instead of the bottled water we'd pay €7 at other restaurants. The food was excellent; it's been a long time since I've had such a good shawarma. The falafel with hummus and pita bread were delicious. It's a shame they were closed on Sundays, otherwise we would have returned. Thanks for everything.

The below judges my general experience! Had no chance to even try the food or the service inside. I had a reservation through your website yesterday for 2:00 pm today. Yes, 2:00 pm was an allowed reservation time! Arriving at the restaurant around 1:54 pm, I was approached by one of your staff outside asking if I have a reservation, I showed the email confirmation. I and my daughter were asked to wait outside. Maybe 15 seconds later some gentleman came from inside and asked again about reservation, then asked about Nationality and origin!! I answered, then asked if we have passport, I showed him my passport and my daughter’s passport then to our surprise he took the passport inside!!! Then came back interrogating us why we want to eat Kosher, are we Jewish! (Despite the fact that your own website says Kosher is not only for Jewish!!). We answered that we’re Muslims and eat Halal and Kosher is a full halal for us! Then I asked him to return our passports to us. He said will do and went inside telling us that he will check if the kitchen is closed!!! Again, if the kitchen is closed why allow a reservation at 2:00 pm on your website??!! Someone else came from inside with our passport and then the gentleman who was interrogating us came back to say, Sorry, the kitchen is closed!!! This is really the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant in my life. Very bad treatment for no reason at all! If this is a restaurant restricted to certain groups of people, then simply say so! If it’s a high security area for some reason, then better also to announce this and say so, such that people come prepared for such a weird interrogation, questioning, check of ID and other unpleasant experiences, but the way we have been treated had no justification whatsoever.

We had a great experience at Restaurant Einstein in Munich. It has a cozy, relaxed vibe with a nice mix of locals and travelers. The service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal. This is one of the best and coziest places in Munich. The menu is not extensive, but there is everything that a lover of not only kosher, but also oriental cuisine needs. The meat is perfect, as are the side dishes, salads and pita - the pita is beyond praise. I would like to separately note the hosts of this hospitable place (not the staff - this word is not applicable here). Very fine and beautifully presented food! A charming and cheerful waiter who introduced us to the culinary arts made the visit a special experience. 😄 The security check at the entrance is unfortunately necessary, but it doesn't bother us personally.

"The only truly kosher restaurant between Vienna and Frankfurt." Perhaps that's true. But for the non-Jewish guest, that's not the deciding factor. What matters is the sophisticated, relaxed atmosphere, the friendly and competent service, and, of course, the fine food. In our case, this was complemented by a good, matching wine recommendation. The security check at the entrance takes some getting used to. Sadly, there's apparently a reason for it. However, thanks to online reservations, the process is quick and routine.

I had a delicious meal at Restaurant Einstein. I had the shawarma and hummus as a side dish – both very good. The food came quickly, but it wasn't incredibly busy. The leftovers were carefully packed, and they even provided an extra pita, which was very friendly. The entrance to the restaurant, with its security checkpoint, ID check, and bag x-ray, takes a bit of getting used to. But don't let that deter you, because after the unusual two minutes, you'll be treated to a very nice dinner. At most, I would describe the ambiance as a bit chilly. Furthermore, basic English skills are recommended; at least, only English was spoken to me. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Restaurant Einstein.

After calmly passing through the security gate, we go to the guest room. Minimalist, bright, friendly and unobtrusively elegant design. There is enough space between the tables here. This also creates a feel-good atmosphere. The service is attentive and very competent. You feel welcome. The kosher realities are fresh, high quality and often organic. The food is cooked to perfection and freshly prepared. The plate is lovingly and harmoniously arranged. Subtly and cleverly seasoned without artificial modernity, the dishes allow for intense taste experiences without being intrusive or overwhelming the palate. There is enough variety on the menu to suit every hunger and every palate. A bright star in the sparkling sky of Munich's upscale restaurants. Nothing like that has ever happened to me either. I made a reservation weeks ago. For November 4th On November 1st I received three emails 1. Your reservation has been confirmed. 2. Your reservation has been canceled. 3. Your reservation has been canceled. I only saw these emails in the evening. I also called and said you had a restaurant meeting. Very unpleasant. I took the trouble to save the three emails to try to portray myself as a liar.

We spontaneously went to Einstein for the first time yesterday shortly before the kitchen closed after the tour of the synagogue. Everything was great, really nice, sweet, even though it was already so late. It's a really great team, rarely experienced like this. The food tasted really good, totally new impressions for the palate and the eye. It was very plentiful, and...this bread...mhhhh. We can only recommend it and will come back. So clearly a big thank you.🤩🤩🤩

we arrived on a late hour after a long journey to Munich for a connecting flight. we had a few hours to burn and we thought to get to the city for a quick dinner before returning to the airport for our early in the morning flight. we booked a time in the restaurant very close to closing time and began our way from the Airport. the AMAZING team called us and said that they need to close early, but no worries, they are leaving food for us in the security counter in the entrance. that was truly AMAZING!! the quality and quantity of the food, along with the huge hart put in that bag, warmed our hearts. thanks a million!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I can only rate the entrance, nothing more. Unfortunately, you won't be allowed in if you have a condition called Raynaud's syndrome. If you have this, you unfortunately need battery-powered gloves or soles and/or battery-powered warmers for your hands when the weather gets cooler so that your extremities (fingers and toes) don't freeze. Despite ID checks and reservations, this was not accepted and something explosive was suspected. Too bad :(

Gastfreundlich und nett ist der Bediener. Speise sind elegant und speziell. Aber beim Eingang gibt es eine sehr strenge Kontrolle, ich wurde beantragt, meinen Pass und den Visum zu zeigen. Aber es ist doch wahrscheinlich umständehalber unverzichtbar.

Wonderful dining experience It was our first time eating kosher food and we were very pleased with the food and the excellent, committed and friendly waiter. The waiter, who was also able to tell us interesting facts about kosher food and Jewish customs, helped us choose the dishes. Without his advice we would have ordered way too much! At our request, we were served “Family Style”, meaning everything was put on the table and everyone took what they wanted. Food was great, service was top notch, we felt more like we were staying with friends than in a restaurant. We found the prices very reasonable and by no means overpriced (four people, drinks and sumptuous food, 110 euros) Since the restaurant is located within the Jewish community's buildings, the security precautions were comparable to those at the airport check-in. ID check, metal detector, security gate. Unfortunately this is necessary again in our country, but we have never eaten so safely in Munich :-) We'd love to come back!

The meals are delicious, although it was not what I expected, since there were very few typical Munich dishes. We ordered Schnitzel for everyone, and although it was quite good, we didn't notice a significant difference compared to other restaurants that offer it at lower prices. To enter the establishment you have to go through a security check, which is unusual for a restaurant. The security personnel have been very friendly and we had quite pleasant treatment.

A kosher restaurant next to the Synagogue. You have to go through a security portal to enter. We did not have reservations but were seated immediately. The menu includes both meat and fish and dairy. There is a small vegetarian section. Service was friendly and efficient. The wait staff can communicate in several languages

The food was very good, the pita so tasty, airy, warm. Daniel and his colleagues looked after us so well. Daniel had good recommendations for us and we really enjoyed the kosher food. Thanks to everyone there!

Delicious food and most importantly family like atmosphere: it is almost like you’re in a summer house with many friends , some saying hi across the tables and some showing videos of favorite songs. Incredibly warm, loved it .

Excellent food! Would highly recommend. You have to go through security to eat at this restaurant which is a bit much. "Where are you from? Why are you in Munich? How long are you here for?" are not the questions you wanna answer when going to a restaurant to have dinner. It's not an airport. The staff was kind and the place was clean. Definitely give it a try but be prepared to be questioned.

Ich wurde vor 3 Jahren extrem unhöflich, um nicht zu sagen unverschämt in diesem Restaurant "abgespeist". Wir sind gegangen, bevor wir gegessen haben, weil dieses Verhalten nicht zu ertragen war. Ich habe auf Google eine entsprechend schlechte rezension hinterlassen. Nun möchte das Restaurant Einstein gegen mich juristisch wegen "Verleumdung" vorgehen. Weil ich eine schlechte Rezension geschrieben habe.!

There are many reasons to visit Munich- city itself, culture, excellent transport links, closeness to Bavarian Alps- yet kosher gourmet isn't on the list, which is a HUGE oversight! If a kosher restaurant of this level would be in London or New York it would be called artisan and be insanely expensive. Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING!) is delicious, service is of exceptional level and prices are very reasonable. Pop in for Sunday buffet, it's beyond all the praises I can come up with. And you're welcome!

A very nice place, courteous and professional service, large and varied dishes, the restaurant helped us organize for Shabbat (ordering food from the restaurant for the Devot evening meal is a bit expensive, but there are many choices, Shabbat in the morning is free, there are Kiddush prayers every day)

WIR STEHEN AN DER SEITE ISRAELS UND BETEN FÜR SCHUTZ UND SHALOM! Shma Jisrael Adonai Eluheinu, Adonai echad, Adonai Zevaoth! Ich war echt überwältigt von der Gastfreundlichkeit und dem leckeren Essen! Nach dem Durchschreiten der Sicherheitsschleuse waren wir erstmal unsicher, wohin wir in diesem Riesengebäude müssen, haben die richtige Tür aber schnell gefunden. Ich habe Mediterranian Tonic ausprobiert ("Probieren Sie einfach, ob es Ihnen schmeckt. Sonst bekommen Sie was anderes!" Kurze Zeit später erschien der Kellner wieder und fragte nach, ob es schmeckt! Es wurde mir auch jede Frage zum Koscher- Essen erklärt.) Ich hatte den Falafel- Teller gewählt, mein Mann Hähnchen-Schnitzel mit Pommes. Das Essen wurde sehr schnell serviert, schätzungsweise 5-10 min nach dem Bestellen. Und es war SEHR lecker, wunderschön angerichtet und genau die richtige Portion. Die Atmosphäre war gastfreundlich, familiär und sehr kinderfreundlich. Wir waren nur 5 Stunden vor Sabbat-Beginn da, gerade als die Schule aus war und viele Familien kamen, um Mittag zu essen oder Sabbatessen abzuholen. Das Personal scherzte mit den Kindern und war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen wieder!

מקום נ-ה-ד-ר! הזמנו מראש אבל לא ידענו ששעת סגירת המטבח מוקדמת יותר. האדם שאירח אותנו - העניק שירות נהדר, חם ולבבי. האוכל הכשר שהוגש היה חם וטעים מאוד. המנות היו משביעות והאוירה נהדרת! אם אחזור למינכן, אגיע לשם שוב בשמחה!

It was delicious. I appreciate having GOOD kosher cuisine(much better than the norm in London). Everything was delicious and the waiter even served us the water from the jug. They gave us very well insulated doggie bags. Toilets are impeccable and waiter was extremely nice. You need to reserve in advance as they make you go through security. Amazing hospitality!

Sensationell. Der Eingang des Restaurants war schnell gefunden. Am Eingang hängt die Karte in einem Schaukasten aus. Die Tür wird einem geöffnet und man passiert eine kurze Sicherheitskontrolle. Eine Online Reservierung ist durchaus sinnvoll und unkompliziert auf der Homepage zu erledigen. Sehr herzliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, tolles Ambiente. Die Karte ist übersichtlich und genau so soll es auch sein. Lieber weniger und dafür gut, als überladen und durchschnittlich. Super leckeres Essen. Wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Zu empfehlen ist der Israeli Teller und vieles mehr ;-). Absolute Empfehlung wenn man gutes Essen schätzt. Ebenso gibt es tolle Weine. Und da wir Freitag-Mittag essen waren…. Shabbat Shalom!

Abbiamo mangiato molto bene; la zuppa di lenticchie era qualcosa di fenomenale. Ottimi anche i secondi. Porzioni abbondanti. Prezzo persino inferiore alle previsioni. Esperienza consigliatissima.

The only Kosher place in Munich. In crowded weeks (like conferences in the city) - hard to get a table. Book in advance. Recommended calling before coming. Extremely strict security check at the entrance. Take away is possible. כשר

לא מדובר במסעדת שף והמנות פה ממוצעות.. המרק פפריקה מאלף.. כיף אמיתי. מקום מפגש לישראלים ויהודים. מקום שהוא בית. בקור המקפיא של מינכן המקום הזה חימם לנו את הלב. הרב הראשי של מינכן ניגש אלינו לשולחן והזמין אותנו לסעוד בשבת.. חויה אמיתית. אנשים טובים באמצע הדרך!

I got delicious takeaway from this place and the food was prepared promptly! My favorites: the steak and the fruit lekach dessert.
