We've been wanting to try Essenz for a long time. The restaurant itself is very nice, but we found it a bit too "clean." The service was very attentive and friendly, but a bit too distant for our taste for an Alpine restaurant (even with three stars, you can expect something to thaw out after several hours). Personally, the food came much too quickly for us. Both times I wanted to sneak around the corner, I was asked to hurry up – I understand that the food is ready when it's ready, but then you just have to slow down. The food was very good, although a bit defensive in flavor (compared to other international three-star restaurants). Definitely something everyone will enjoy; we just would have liked a bit more punch on some of the plates. All in all, a great restaurant, but for the price, we wouldn't go back.

One of the best meals I had in Munich. Staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. Loved the shots they gave us at the end of the meal Would recommend the halloumi and fried calamari as appetizers! Tried the tomato soup as well but it was too sour/tomatoey for our liking. The mains were the highlight of the meal, the chicken was extremely juicy and tender, and the pork was so flavourful and had the amazing charred crust to it. Portions were so huge and we barely could walk out of the restaurant after! Would definitely visit again!

We've been visiting this restaurant for many years. Even after moving to Ingolstadt, we still come despite the 100 km distance. The food is fantastic, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. Even when the restaurant is packed, the food is served quickly and piping hot. You always feel welcome! We're already looking forward to our next visit.

Always excellent. The best in the area! A successful combination of Vietnamese and Japanese cuisine. Very appealing presentation of the dishes. The photo shows an example of an appetizer platter. We've been coming here for a while and decided to celebrate our wedding because my wife and her family are from the Czech Republic. The service is always incredibly friendly and attentive, and the new and cozy venue on Lilienberg was also plenty big enough for our wedding party (around 40 people). It was the first wedding at Bohemia, and the staff did a fantastic job. We started with a set menu of pumpkin cream soup and Svíčková (a type of Czech pastry), as well as a selection of cakes. Later, there was a truly excellent buffet. All our guests told us they found the food and drinks absolutely delicious. There's also a very good projector, which our guests used for a pub quiz and a video, and plenty of options for playing music. Attached are a few photos from our Czech-German wedding. We organized the decorations ourselves, but the preliminary discussions with Lenka and Ivo were extremely helpful. ...``` In that spirit, thank you again to Lenka and Ivo and the entire Bohemia team for this truly wonderful and unforgettable evening and for making it all possible! We were visiting Augsburg and spontaneously dropped in without a reservation. The service was super friendly and made every effort to find us a table, which worked out. The food was truly delicious. We had a non-vegan friend with us who was also rather skeptical. But he also really enjoyed it and even said he'll probably come here more often from now on. The whole visit was truly lovely and a highlight of the day! Thank you so much, we'll be back!☺️

The service was super warm, humorous, and very attentive – you simply feel welcome here. What's particularly great: The host, Nicki Kullmann, a well-known singer and entertainer, creates a truly wonderful atmosphere with his charming manner and good humor. A thoroughly successful evening – we'll definitely be back!
