A charmingly old-fashioned restaurant in a picturesque old town alley. The menu is extensive, with many dishes bearing non-vegan names like "Duck." The food not only looks delicious, it tastes fantastic. It was my first time at a vegan restaurant, and I was completely won over. I won't be returning.

Absolutely fantastic, exclusively vegan cuisine! We had the "duck with dumplings and red cabbage" and the "crispy schnitzel." Absolutely divine. We'll definitely be back, even though it's over an hour's drive for us. Oh, and one more thing! Definitely book in advance!!

Small restaurant with a very pleasant, quiet atmosphere. Service was very friendly and competent. The food (even for non-vegans) was very, very tasty. The only downside was the Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle), which really wasn't what one would expect from Käsespätzle.

We ate at Dill yesterday and were really pleasantly surprised. For starters, we had the vegan wings and the vegan chicken tenders. Both were absolutely delicious. The chicken tenders, in particular, were a real highlight. For my main course, I had the crispy duck with red cabbage and potato dumplings. Super juicy, perfectly seasoned, and simply delicious. My boyfriend had the soy schnitzel with fries and was also very happy with it. A really good and tasty vegan alternative. To finish, we shared the Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake), and it was absolutely perfect—fluffy, sweet, and crunchy. The service was very friendly and relaxed without being intrusive. We felt completely at ease and will definitely be back.

I'm not vegan myself, but the food was absolutely fantastic. I had tortellini with porcini mushroom sauce and vanilla ice cream. I highly recommend Dill. (Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant is rather small.)

Wonderful vegan food and sweet atmosphere, lovely staff as well. They were able to accommodate us, even though we didn't have a reservation. We sat a few minutes at the bar before a table opened up and we moved there. The starter (cauliflower served in the style of buffalo wings!) was super tasty, so was the salad. My son very much enjoyed the children's menu: vegan schnitzel with Pommes! Everything was also very well-priced. Being able to eat vegan food without sitting in a trendy, stylish, and sterile atmosphere, but rather like our grandparents in a rustic inn, is the epitome of coziness for me 🫶 A fantastic menu without animal suffering...a dream! In my entire life (60 years), I've never eaten such a delicious Kaiserschmarrn!!! Thanks to the kitchen for the incredibly tasty food. Friendly service and reasonable prices. We've eaten much worse many times, but rarely much better. That's why...we'll be back!

We came all the way from Heilbronn to Augsburg just to visit this restaurant. After 12 years of being vegan, it's simply wonderful to be able to order everything on the menu with a clear conscience! The "Chicken Tender" and "Mozzarella Sticks" were so authentic that I would have sent them back in an omnivorous restaurant, assuming they contained animal products. Absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, the Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) didn't quite live up to my expectations. The duck and potato dumpling were fantastic! The red cabbage had a bit too much "Christmas spice" for my taste. The Kaiserschmarrn (shredded pancake) was absolutely amazing! Thank you so much! We were given a special spot in the corner for our dog, and water was brought to us immediately without us even having to ask. I'm so sad I don't have such a great restaurant closer to home.

Fantastic vegan food! We make the pilgrimage here at least twice a year. Unfortunately, there's only one gluten-free dish on the menu, but they often have weekly specials with something for everyone. The coffee is excellent, and the staff are always friendly and attentive.

For me, DILL is the best culinary destination in Augsburg, especially because it elevates vegan cuisine to such a high level. The ambiance is unique: small, elegant, and perfectly captures the rustic, cozy atmosphere of a traditional tavern – only completely vegan. This concept is brilliant and instantly makes you feel at home. The cuisine is outstanding and creative. My absolute favorite is the "crispy duck" made from seitan with dumplings. While it's a bit pricey, it offers a truly unique taste experience. The vegan Kaiserschmarrn is also a highlight every time and the perfect ending to the meal. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is served surprisingly quickly. Important note: DILL is extremely popular and usually fully booked, so I strongly recommend making a reservation in advance. Anyone in Augsburg looking for exceptional, creative, and superbly prepared vegan dishes in a unique setting should definitely visit this restaurant! This place sets the standard.

We were visiting Augsburg and spontaneously dropped in without a reservation. The service was super friendly and made every effort to find us a table, which worked out. The food was truly delicious. We had a non-vegan friend with us who was also rather skeptical. But he also really enjoyed it and even said he'll probably come here more often from now on. A vegan restaurant in a traditionally furnished inn! We were delighted with all the dishes we ordered (gyros, duck, Käsespätzle, mushroom risotto). The service was very friendly without seeming forced. A fantastic experience!

I'm vegan myself and was eager to try the restaurant, especially since I hear so many good things about it and the reviews are almost universally excellent. The ambiance and service were truly great, and the potato dumplings and cabbage were also delicious. Unfortunately, the main courses (vegan duck and vegan steak) were disappointing: rather blandly seasoned, not as crispy as advertised, and simply not what I'd hoped for from good vegan alternatives, which we found truly unfortunate.

A definite recommendation! The duck was so delicious! I thought I'd never get to try it because I only eat halal meat, and you never get that in German restaurants. 10/10 experience

Here provides Very nice vegetarian Beryern style of refine dishes. Very mindful to find out that the ingredients of every cuisine has been listed. Prices are fare, and friendly staffs, but the location is distance from town center. But Straßen Bahn is rather handy to get over here. „Fisher Tor“ is the name of station. We ordered Schnitzel and Tortellini with mix green salads, the dressing for both dishes are delicious. But I don’t eat pungent vegetables so consequently I had a hard choice to make. Whatsoever we have to agree the savory treat for our lunch.

We were there yesterday and generally enjoyed our meal. The staff are really friendly, and the vegan brewery vibe is really cool. We need restaurants that combine traditional, homey cuisine with meat-free cooking. I would like to point out a few minor criticisms of the food: - €30 for a fried appetizer plate is a lot of money. Either add a little extra flair with grilled vegetables or something similar, or lower the price a bit. - The red cabbage was very sweet and over-seasoned. Thank you for the food.

I read about it at some point and added it to my list. I immediately planned a stop here on my last summer trip. Reservations seem to be recommended; it was busy, but I settled for a seat at the bar. The menu offers a nice range of dishes, so it was hard to decide. The food was truly delicious. Good luck in the future.

There were three of us visiting and we had a truly lovely evening. For starters, we chose the cauliflower wings, which were absolutely delicious and perfectly seasoned. Among the main courses, the crispy vegan duck and the gyro were particularly tasty, but the roulade was also very successful. The dishes were creative, lovingly prepared, and delicious. However, expect to pay at least €50 per person for the starter, dessert, and main course.

I moved to Augsburg last year and have been to Dill at least five times since then. I've tried the following dishes: gyros, Kaiserschmarrn (shrimp pancakes), bread dumplings with mushroom sauce, cauliflower wings, and schnitzel. Except for the schnitzel, which wasn't quite to my personal taste, I found all the dishes outstanding. I'm from Berlin and have been to many vegan restaurants, but this one is one of my absolute favorites. It's truly a treat, and I'd happily recommend it. The staff are always super friendly, and I feel completely at home here. I prefer sitting outside in the beer garden. Dropping in spontaneously is sometimes difficult during peak times, so I recommend making a reservation in advance.

The tortellini with porcini mushroom filling, truffle sauce, and walnuts were the best pasta I've ever eaten! The appetizer platter for two was truly plentiful and delicious! The duck and schnitzel were also excellent. Not to mention the desserts! The beer garden behind the house is a great place to linger and is beautifully decorated! You feel at home from the very first moment! Our server was very friendly and accommodating! We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

My daughters invited me for Father's Day. It was my first time at Dill. Everything was perfect. Food, service... Keep it up!!!

Unfortunately it was a disappointment. We've wanted to try it for a long time. We had chili Kassspatzen (the consistency was more like a stew and the taste wasn't good either), it tasted of spices and chili, gyros with chickpeas (the meat sauce just tasted of tomato and fat, it couldn't be worse), gyros with soy (exactly the same as with the chickpeas), at least the sides (salad and fries) were okay, oh well, you can't go wrong with that. We all felt sick after eating and still did two hours later. There are much better vegan restaurants in Augsburg. Unfortunately I don't understand the hype and the prices at all, they're completely overpriced. The atmosphere is more like a pub, very old-fashioned. The service was friendly. It wasn't for us. Tried it once and never again. I can't recommend it.

We finally made it to the wonderful Dill. As you can see from the pictures, we tucked in and didn't regret it. The food was truly amazing, and the selection was huge. Personally, I would have preferred the crispy seitan duck to be a bit more seasoned on the inside, but otherwise, everything was great. The service was also really friendly. We're so grateful that places like yours exist; you make life easier for every vegan/vegetarian! Keep up the good work.

I finally made it... so many people rave about this vegan restaurant in Augsburg. It's supposed to be the best! Small but nice, I'd say. The decor is quite dark and a bit conventional. The service was very friendly. The food came quickly and everything was really delicious. The vegetables weren't overcooked, but cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed everything. Since it was very busy, we unfortunately had to leave right after our meal because it was too loud and we couldn't have a conversation. The value for money is absolutely fine. I definitely have to come back and have a burger. I wish the place were bigger so it could seat more people.

I went to the DILL Restaurant for the first time with a friend. We had the crispy steak with dumplings and red cabbage, a vegan chicken burger with sweet potato fries and, for dessert, a delicious Kaiserschmarrn. Price-performance ratio was simply great, as was the service, the girls were simply great 😊

We really enjoyed the friendly, urige atmosphere at lunch time. The starter plate, all the main dishes ("gyros", "burger", "roulade" and the dessert were great.

The house remoulade isn’t anything special but the chicken burger and fries were good. Waitress was very friendly and warm. The interior is also very elegant and chic.

We had a really nice evening at Dill today. The vegan dishes are very tasty and we were served by the super polite and very nice Sarah.

It was absolutely great, very, very tasty. There were three of us there. We had the chickpea protein gyro twice with tzatziki, salad and sweet potato fries. And my sister had the vegan beef soulas with red cabbage, sauce and dumplings. And as a starter we had fried cauliflower with barbecue dip and mozzarella sticks and chili cheese nuggets. Of course everything was vegan and it was simply incredibly delicious. I have never had a vegan cheese product that was as delicious as the one at Dill Restaurant. It was absolutely delicious. The gyros made from chickpea protein was also very tasty. It was really delicious and tasted spicy like gyro meat. It was just incredibly good. It was such a great, delicious meal and we were all stuffed. To drink we had iced tea, cyclists and an Aperol Spritz. And the iced tea was super delicious. You could simply taste the ingredients and generally see that it was really fresh. Freshly made salad was crunchy and it was so tasty that tzatziki was included, too. The gyro was also delicious. It really had been a celebration. Very delicious food. And the waitresses were very sweet mice. So very, very lovely staff too. And kudos to the chef.

We've been there for lunch several times (+ dog) and really loved it! The service was friendly, attentive and we felt very comfortable! For starters we had the spicy cauliflower wings, then for the main course we had vegan duck and wild mushroom ragout and to finish off the yeast dumplings with vanilla sauce. Everything was perfect in terms of consistency and taste, especially the yeast dumpling was just fantastic. In our opinion, the price-performance ratio is right and we will definitely come back again and again! 😊
