Dreizehn in Augsburg

I was surprised that there are so many vegan restaurants and cafés here in Bavaria. The rain kept me here longer, and I really enjoyed my cake.

We've been to "Dreizehn" many times. The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere and invites you to linger. The menu features exclusively vegan and vegetarian dishes. If you're looking for meat, you're looking in vain ;) The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. My personal recommendation is the "grill plate" (more suitable for those with a big appetite), which has everything your heart desires. Parking is scarce, however, so it's recommended to arrive by public transport or on foot.

Was here for the first time today. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff (especially the waitress). The seasonal soup was too salty and spicy for my taste, but upon request, they diluted it, and we got a mate and bread on the house. Great service! Keep up the good work!

I've been here twice now within a week. Once on a Saturday lunchtime, and once on a Saturday evening. Both times, it was moderately busy. Both times, I went inside to ask the waiter about cake or the evening meal. Unfortunately, neither time was there any service, even after 15 minutes. Once, the table was still full of glasses. The waiter walked past us and did nothing. We left and ate somewhere else. I've had cake here before, and it was delicious; the location is also very nice. But the service definitely needs improvement.

The food was extremely delicious and looked great. The atmosphere was great, with running water and a view of the butcher's shop. Very friendly service. The food arrived quickly. Highly recommended!

It's probably by far the best vegan food in Augsburg. It's fresh, extremely delicious, and doesn't put anyone off. So it's for everyone; you don't have to be vegan. The coffee and the location are also great. The young people who work here are very friendly and helpful. However, it's quite common to have to wait a long time before being served or to place your order. That's unfortunate, and it doesn't get any better over the years. But if you plan for it or consciously ignore it, you'll be truly happy here.

Ich war bin und werde kein Veganer sein. Jedem seines mir meine Leberkässemmel. Wir haben hier nur Bier getrunken und das ist ja auch vegan. Kommt hier von Lammsbräu und schmeckt. Bedienungen sind freundlich. An der Wand hängen Zeichnungen Bilder auf Leinwand die man kaufen kann wenn man das nötige Kleingeld hat. Nettes Publikum.

I'm a big fan, really a highlight of my Augsburg day trip :) Had a super delicious vegan cake and a chai latte.

I really enjoy eating vegan and have been vegetarian for 20 years. The nut wedges were delicious. Unfortunately, the menu that was declared as dinner didn't suit my taste. Maybe I also had a bad day. The broccoli soup was brown in color and mushy in consistency, the taste was indefinable. I couldn't eat them. The salad dressing was very sour. The vegetables are mushy. The ambience is nice. The waitress was very friendly. Unfortunately the toilets were very unkempt.

An absolutely amazing cafe with an excellent selection of vegan food! We went there for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Everything was incredibly tasty and diverse - there were so many creative components that you almost wish you had the recipes right away so you could cook them at home. No-Batzda, non-meat salad... to fall in love with. The ambience was also very pleasant, perfect for a relaxed breakfast in a cozy atmosphere. We really enjoyed the visit and would definitely be there every week if we lived nearby. An absolute must for everyone who likes vegan cuisine and also for non-vegans.

I also have the wonderful cookbook from Café Thirteen, but it's easier to just put it in and enjoy it. The daily specials with lentil dhal are particularly delicious, the mac 'n cheese and the cakes are also recommended.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a negative review about the service at your establishment. We went in for a coffee, but no one even paid attention to us, didn't say hello, and didn't try to take our order. Because of this we had to leave, although we were hoping for a pleasant time in your restaurant. Your coffee is really tasty, but the service left an extremely unpleasant impression. I hope you will pay attention to this problem and improve the quality of service.

You have to know that it is an alternative restaurant with exclusively vegan food and drinks. Unfortunately it simply didn't suit our taste. The pancakes took a long time (the rest had already been eaten and everyone had already empty their café) and tasted doughy. Otherwise I would describe the place as nice and informal. The staff were friendly.

The food is super tasty and very fresh! Once you've checked the map, it's a great shop 😉

I've been to the café a lot now and I have to say that I just love it. I really like the food and whether it's just for coffee and cake or for real food, it's often my first choice. I rarely have any breakdowns, once the staff made a bit of a joke when we went there in the afternoon in a rather wasted manner and asked about breakfast dishes. Somehow understandable, but it's still not particularly professional. Otherwise, the pretzels at brunch weren't entirely fresh. But these are just two small things for the many times I've been there. (Mostly also outside of peak hours)

It's ok, but expensive compared to what you get. Service is nice, but could be better. Alternatively furnished, I don't find it very comfortable, rather careless.

Super cute little cafe with great people and good food

We were there for the vegan brunch on Saturday. The cafe is perfect for vegans and people with gluten intolerance. There was a great selection! We particularly liked the Vurstsalt with smoked tofu, the cashew herb cream, the muesli, porridge and the chocolate peanut cream.

Quality obviously has its price. Small manageable cafe, nice staff and absolutely delicious homemade buffet. I don't know whether 52€ for 2 drinks and a few spreads of bread was worth it...

The food is mostly vegan and very tasty. Relaxed atmosphere, lots of alternative people. Diverse and diverse welcome. There's a stage right away, which is great. Very simply furnished.

We have been here several times and have usually had a lovely breakfast outside when the weather is good. Unfortunately, the atmosphere inside is less appealing. The food is always excellent, but unfortunately the portion size/price ratio is not right for us. The service is usually friendly, but not particularly fast. If you are looking for a delicious vegan meal and are willing to spend a little more money and have a little more time, you can find it here.

Cozy café with a beautiful forecourt on the pleasantly rushing Lech river. Courteous service from relaxed young people, the homemade crunchy muesli and the cappuccino with an extra shot were super tasty. We'd love to come back.

This vegan restaurant is wonderful because it's vegan. I could eat what I wanted as deserts, breakfast, brunch, because there's no cow milk in the cooking (iI'm intolerant to it). Perfect chocolate mousse ! Amazing cookies and cakes ! You can even buy cookies to take away :-) Very nice other possibilities as lunch and dinner. Great team, smiling, happy to work there. Nice terrace with a fountain. Places to let your bicycle while eating. Large opening times. At the corner of the principal old town street.

We have been to Café Thirteen several times and have always been very satisfied! Today, however, the lunch plate was sooooo good that I had to write a review 😍 Everything was homemade and tasted fresh! The café is actually my go-to place for cakes in particular, as I eat vegan and gluten-free and the selection is very limited in Augsburg. On the holiday I drove out of town especially to pick up a cake. Despite there still being free tables and a moderate occupancy of guests, I was greeted with the words “sorry, unfortunately that’s not possible, it’s just too much!” sent away again and no cake was sold to me - to go (!!). I've actually received friendly service there so far, but the new colleague seemed so overwhelmed that paying customers were sent away again despite being willing to wait (!). That's really a pity!

The best 'Gyros' I've ever eaten here on the grill plate. Here you can feel that there is no need for meat.

There are great vegan cakes and you don't notice any difference to "normal" cakes. That's exactly how it has to be!

Small venue located in a delightful corner of the historic center and associated with a cultural center that offers cabaret evenings. Few tables, spartan environment, smiling service. A tasty but low-meat goulash was consumed, accompanied by pieces of cheap bread and, alas, a salad in a glass bowl placed on the same plate, in the middle of the goulash sauce. Something you can't see.

Despite the lack of staff, I had my food within less than 30 minutes of ordering (I also asked before ordering because I had an appointment afterwards). The daily dinner dish was very tasty, well seasoned (Indian) and I could also pay with a card. I'd love to come back!

👎 My visit to this restaurant was a roller coaster of experiences. Although the selection of vegan dishes was impressive, the taste quality left something to be desired. The eggplant and lentil moussaka was unseasoned, while the schnitzel was over-seasoned, which upset the balance of the dishes. 👎 The ambience of the restaurant was appealing and the location was very convenient, which is positive. I had reserved a table for five people a week in advance to celebrate my birthday and round off the evening with a cabaret by Karsten Kaie. But on site it was claimed that I had allegedly canceled the table, which surprised me very much. Luckily there was still a free table for us to sit at, but the incident marred the start of the evening. 👎 Another unpleasant experience was when I was changing some change and the waiter apparently cheated me out of a euro. This reinforced the impression that the staff is not particularly reliable or honest 👎 Overall, the visit to this restaurant left the impression of a disorganized operation and I personally wouldn't want to eat out again anytime soon

Café Thirteen is a purely vegan restaurant/café. There is a small selection of breakfast as well as cakes, small snacks and dinner. The dishes are freshly prepared and taste very tasty. Currently only cash payment is possible. The staff is very friendly. Since the cafe is located downtown, there is no on-site parking.

My partner and I had a coffee there. No cow's milk was offered as this cafe is purely vegan. We were recommended white almond milk with our cappuccino. And what should I say. The almond milk was really disgusting, which made the coffee undrinkable. We couldn't manage two sips and had to leave the full cups standing. We then got coffee at Rathausplatz.

Highly recommended cafe! In my opinion, Café Thirteen is the go-to place in Augsburg if you want to go out for a vegan café drink and eat cake. The café has a large selection of drinks, always cakes and, depending on the time of day, also food. The ambience is cozy and relaxed and the furniture is thrown together rather haphazardly, which makes everything seem a bit informal. I think the prices are very reasonable and even cheaper than you would expect.

Best place for lunch in Augsburg. Healthy, fresh, vegan, and very tasty food. Every day a different dish for lunch. Available in three sizes, small, medium, large. Super friendly team. Takes only a few minutes to get your food. I never look at the menu, because it's always good. I eat there at least twice a week.

Es ist soo cool hier. Feinstes Essen, super netter Service, Preis-Leistung stimmt. Ambiente (Optik und Hintergrundmusik) sehr passend. Herrlich unstylisch und trotzdem mit Stil.....wenn ich in Augsburg leben würde, wäre ich immer hier! Wer lecker vegan essen gehen mag in lockerer Atmosphäre ist hier genau richtig. Außer gibt es hier ein sehr empfehlenswertes eigenes Kochbuch vom dreizehn! Top!

Cappuccino ist immer mit Hafermilch und kostet nicht mal extra wie in anderen Cafés. Essen ist völlig angemessen und lecker für ein Café.

Sehr leckeres veganes essen und trinken im Dreizehn. Komme immer gerne her ,wenn in der Stadt bin. Ich kann es nur jedem weiterempfehlen. Egal ob im Sommer oder bis Winter es ist wie gesagt auf jeden Fall immer einen Besuch wert. Personal sehr nett und freundlich. Der oder die Koch/Köchin ,kocht auf jeden Fall mit Herz und liebe,was man sieht und auch schmeckt. Für mich hat das Dreizehn schon längst Lokal Sterne verdient. Ich würde auf jeden Fall 5 vergeben. Macht weiter so . Leider Bilder vergessen zu machen

Gefüllter Spinatpfannkuchen mit Chili sin Carne, Wedges und Salat als Tagesgericht war der Hammer.

Diesmal habe ich dort nichts gegessen und als ich das letzte Mal dort etwas gegessen habe, hieß dieses Lokal in der Kresslesmühle noch anders.

Sehr sehr leckere vegane Küche, wir waren schon oft da und wurden nie enttäuscht! Preise sind für die gegebene Qualität total angebracht! Weiter so!

Das essen und der Kuchen sind top! Open Stage ist auch top. Je öfter ich hier jedoch essen gehe, desto mehr bin ich vom Service enttäuscht.

Das Dreizehn in Augsburg... Auch für Menschen die nicht vegan leben (ich bin einer davon), unbedingt hingehen und es sich schmecken lassen! Bei unseren Augsburg Besuchen (3 bis 4 mal im Jahr) ist der Besuch im Dreizehn ein fester Programmpunkt. Egal ob Frühstück, Mittagessen, Kuchen und Co. oder Abendessen- alles ist frisch und immer ein Genuss zu essen. Die wechselnden Mittags- und Abendgerichte laden immer zum Probieren ein, bisher war es immer ein tolles Geschmackserlebnis. Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal im Dreizehn, wenn ich wieder in Augsburg bin!

Coole Lokation, tolle Produkte und sehr guter Service

Gefühlt ein Ort für jedermann. Wir haben keinen Platz mehr bekommen und uns die Zeit bis zum nächsten freien Tisch im "Flur" an einem Stehtisch vertrieben. War sehr amüsant und das Personal echt gut drauf :)

Findet man nicht so leicht und ist bestimmt nicht jedermanns Geschmack,aber mein Müsli war großartig und ich liebe Kaffee mit Hafermilch!!
