The portions are not very generous, but the price is quite high. For fish from the region, which is what I actually expect on Lake Constance, you will find exactly one dish on the menu, which is also outrageously expensive. You wait a long time for service, just as long for the food and another very long time for the bill. I cannot make a special recommendation for a visit.

Authentic Chinese restaurant at the market place in Konstanz My last visit to the Chinese restaurant at the Marktstätte in Konstanz was a very positive experience. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the authentic atmosphere: the path leads directly to the first floor, where you take a seat in a typically Chinese ambience. The decoration is simple, but it gives you the feeling of actually being in China - a nice first impression. I chose a classic combination: rice with egg and chicken. The portion was extremely generous and would have easily been enough for two people. The rice and chicken were incredibly tender - almost like butter on the tongue. There was also soy sauce, which rounded off the taste perfectly. As a drink I chose a refreshment that also went well with the food. The prices are moderate and more than reasonable for the quality and portion size. Particularly noteworthy is the service: friendly, attentive and with a sense of the guests' wishes. You feel welcome, no matter where you come from. As a Viennese, I was warmly welcomed, which made the experience even more pleasant. Conclusion: The Chinese restaurant at the market place in Konstanz is a real insider tip! Authentic food, generous portions, fair prices and impressive service. Among the many Chinese restaurants in Konstanz, this one particularly stands out. I'll definitely be happy to come back!

First of all we had to wait 20 minutes for them to take our order!! Then we had to wait too long again until we got the food. Burger was cold, meat bad, very poor value for money. Dessert came in a broken bowl!! It shouldn't be like that! Service was also bad

... was wir hier bei unserem Mittagessen am 14.08. erleben mussten. Eigentlich hätten wir das "Restaurant" unmittelbar verlassen müssen, als wir die hygienischen Zustände im offenen Kochbereich gesehen haben - leider hatten wir zu dem Zeitpunkt die Bestellung schon aufgegeben: Ein Küchenhelfer, der Reste, wie kalte Pommes auf der Serviertheke, munter wieder in die Warmehaltebehälter schiebt und ein Koch - wenn man ihn so nennen darf - der sich an den Resten der Theke bedient, einmal abbeißt und dann das angebissene Stück auf die Arbeitsplatte neben dem Herd schmeißt. Nach den Eindrücken an der Theke, waren die Erwartungen an das Essen schon äußerst gering, doch Das Rumpsteak für 13,99 war dann der Gipfel der Unverschämtheit. Ich habe noch nie so ein minderwertiges und schlecht zubereitetes Stück Fleisch serviert bekommen. Aus Angst um meine Gesundheit ging das Fleisch nach einem Bissen zurück und wir haben, nachdem meine Partnerin ihre zumindest halbwegs genießbaren Käsespätzle verzehrt hatte, alsbald das Weite gesucht. Nieder wieder. Ich kann nur jedem raten, einen weiten Bogen um dieses Restaurant zu machen.

Nice modern and convivial place, friendly and kind staff, dishes with delicate flavours, excellent first courses, better the passatelli degli strozzapreti, good mussels but I would call them with tomato sauce, they had little tarantine or spicy flavor, very good tufts of squid and the fried. The lady at the checkout was very kind and even offered me the digestives... we will be back to enjoy the outdoor area too. Advised

Very simple harbor grill. There is Yufka for 9.50 :))) and Börek for 17 euros :)))). Prices like in a luxury store. We only drank something, a scoop of ice cream for 2.30 euros. Inside it looked like a pub. The prices and the ambience didn't invite us to eat there.

We were looking forward to the game menu, which started on October 12th, 2024, and drove to Konstanz especially for this. Unfortunately there was only 1 main course and 1 starter on the game menu. The deer was good but the side dishes were not worthy of a game menu. A small portion of red cabbage and some pressed potatoes in a slice for €42. The salad beforehand was good, but the chestnut cake was very dry and not very tasty. All in all, a very sad conclusion for a restaurant in this price range! Would not recommend the restaurant as the service staff did not respond to feedback about the food and accepted it without comment.
