Super nice staff and quick service - only the drink prices are a bit steep for German standards.

First of all we had to wait 20 minutes for them to take our order!! Then we had to wait too long again until we got the food. Burger was cold, meat bad, very poor value for money. Dessert came in a broken bowl!! It shouldn't be like that! Service was also bad

We stayed at the Hotel Volapük and were able to have breakfast in the restaurant every morning. What immediately struck us was the very friendly, fresh way we were greeted. Many of our requests were accommodated! The breakfast is fantastic! Freshly sliced ​​sausage, fresh rolls, fruit and vegetable selections, delicious coffee, and tasty egg and yogurt dishes. Outstanding! We also went to the restaurant for dinner. The food was excellent. We had the onion braised roast (highly recommended) and the cheese spaetzle. Simply delicious! The meat was cooked medium-rare. The sauces were delicious, and the spaetzle were simply fresh! Referring to the previous review, there were no spring onions on the plate. The chef treated us to dessert because we were celebrating our wedding anniversary there. Found it by chance, had a really good meal, and the price/performance ratio was absolutely reasonable. The service staff was friendly and professional. We were also able to pay by card. It's a shame we're leaving, otherwise we would come back for another meal. We give each item 4 points.
