Nice atmosphere, friendly service. But we came for the food, and it was absolutely terrible. We certainly won't be eating here again.

The service here is world-class, the food is good to very good and absolutely recommendable. The ambiance is very appealing. But the staff is so warm and child-friendly that we felt completely at ease after just the first couple of sentences. Our daughters were practically pampered.

A lovely restaurant in a historic building right on the water, with excellent cuisine. We enjoyed the lunch buffet. Soup, salads, three main courses, side dishes, and dessert – all delicious and reasonably priced. The historic building is tastefully decorated and offers a beautiful ambiance.

I've eaten there several times with colleagues. The food is very tasty and the price/performance ratio is good. The staff is very friendly and efficient. I highly recommend it.

We ordered a glass of tap water to go with our drinks, for which we were charged €4 per glass. We were only informed that they didn't offer tap water when we went to pay. For me, this is unacceptable, especially since we otherwise spent a lot of money there. Nice location, hence 2 stars.

Since the change of ownership, the restaurant has unfortunately lost its sophisticated, creative cuisine, offering only traditional fare with a Balkan flair. I find it a shame that the museum-quality sewing machines have been removed, and that little else recalls the original purpose of the place, where my grandmother worked as a seamstress in the 1940s. The scattering of personal office supplies, along with the chaos on the tables and sofas under the stairs, looks unprofessional. The elevator, which broke down three weeks ago, still hasn't been repaired, which is unacceptable for people with disabilities. The tables lack tasteful decoration (or any decoration at all), and I would reconsider the choice of light green napkins made of very thin paper.

The waterfront location is stunning and gave our celebration a truly special atmosphere. The food was exquisite and lovingly prepared throughout – and the goulash soup at midnight was a real hit for us and our guests! We leave this day with wonderful memories and already know: The Stromeyer Bleiche will remain a regular haunt for us and holds a special place in our hearts.

It's a beautiful location and a good place to drink. Unfortunately, the food is terrible. We were a large group, and we ordered everything from the menu, and no one liked it. Everything was dry, fried, not fresh... you can tell they only use frozen food. Unfortunately, I really can't recommend it at all. It's a shame, the place had so much potential—we won't be back.

It can happen, and we accepted the apology. During our meal, he brought us a salad. What can't happen and is inexcusable: When it came time to pay, the waiter couldn't remember his promise. Completely overcooked and unseasoned vegetables, a lukewarm Cordon Bleu sliced ​​from the kitchen, apparently checked to see if there was anything left in it, potato slices from the deep fryer that were cold. After a discussion, it was taken back. The same discussion raged at the next table. Perhaps just a slip-up and the chef had broken his arm.

Die Tische lassen sich flexibel für klein(st)e und große Gruppen stellen. Das Restaurant bietet zur Mittagszeit ein preisgünstiges Buffet mit Salaten, Suppe, Fisch-, Hühner-, Schwein- und Rindfleischgerichten samt passender Beilagen plus Dessert. Ständig wird frische Ware nachgelegt. Der Service ist freundlich, umsichtig und flink. Das Essen ist schmackhaft zubereitet. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis absolut angemessen. Die Baustelle gegenüber des Lokals reduziert die Parkmöglichkeiten, ich konnte mein Auto aber immer in kurzer Zeit nahegelegen regelkonform abstellen. Ich komme gerne wieder! Einziges Manko, das ich bemerkte: Wenn ich es richtig sehe, ist das Lokal nicht behindertenfreundlich: Die Toilette liegt im 1. Stock.

The portions are adequately large. The soup was served without a saucer, which was a bit unusual. The flavor, however, was very good. Unfortunately, the main course didn't live up to this standard. The meat was unfortunately cooked too dry. The dish placed a great emphasis on a filling side dish, as the spaetzle was overwhelming. Unfortunately, the sauce was just a smidgen, so it wasn't even enough for the meat, let alone the sheer volume of spaetzle. A real shame; they could have made more of it. The restaurant is very clean and bright. The view of the Rhine is also very pretty.

Since the new owner took over, prices have dropped significantly, and the quality has also improved significantly. Very tasty food at a very reasonable price for Konstanz standards, especially considering the beautiful location right on the lake. The staff is also very friendly and attentive.
