Leider ist der Service einfach unterirdisch, dicht gefolgt von dem noch schlechteren essen. Es ist so schade, weil der Ort wirklich wunderschön ist. Ich hoffe, dieser Restaurant findet irgendwann einen neuen Betreiber.

The price-performance ratio for the vegetarian dishes is very poor. What is available is a cheap frozen vegetable mix (just like the one you find in the refrigerated section of a discount store), either with rice, potatoes or pasta, minimally seasoned with salt and pepper, for just under €20. I've had better things in some canteens. The view was really nice, but you really don't have to come here for the food.

Once you're there, please go to Stromeyer. Great service, always on the ball and a relaxed, pleasant message on the lips. A romantic destination with your loved ones on summer evenings. Food is not something to be despised either, it is a pleasure. Do I need to say more?

Very nice terrace and also indoor area! Top view. Harmonious! Nice service. Also suitable for strollers. Toilet with baby changing facility. Now the food... well... a large portion... but the quality was poor. The schnitzel was like it was bought from the frozen food...really tough and dry. Spaetzle were very fatty. Fish crispy pearls weren't anything special either... Recommendation? PERFECT for relaxing and having a drink. But eat fine, anywhere else!

The lunch buffet was very unappetizing and served in canteen containers. The waitress didn't know exactly how much it cost. I also had to wait 10 minutes for this even though there wasn't much going on. Then I skipped eating and just drank something.

Stopped by spontaneously on August 21, 2024, got a seat, ate very well, service staff were top (the men) and below ground (the lady), not friendly at all, no smiles, seemed annoyed or just had a bad day, but in the restaurant actually unacceptable. Good concept, first sit well and eat and if you want you can chill out next door with music and a bar 😃👍

Situé où l’on ne pense pas trouver de restaurant. Belle surprise ! Serveurs accueillants dans un cadre sympathique avec une belle vue sur le Rhin. Les plats sont copieux pour un prix correct et servis rapidement.

The space over the water in the historic Bleiche would be beautiful if we hadn't waited a whole hour for the beer we ordered, if the vegetarian spaghetti wasn't made with frozen vegetables and if the management had ensured there were enough staff. The service employees tried incredibly hard, but unfortunately were completely overwhelmed. So it's best to just get a cool drink at the bar in the adjacent beer garden.

Very nice place, unfortunately very bad restaurant. I was there 2 weeks ago, my spaghetti was served cold, not lukewarm, cold. The waiter's reaction: shrugging his shoulders. Today I was there again and thought I'd rather eat something cold, maybe a salad. I was assigned a table, I just wasn't served. They cleared away half-empty plates at the next table, guests who arrived later had already gotten their drinks, I didn't even have the menu yet. Then I left.

I've been coming to bleach for 20 years. RESTAURANT top. Favorite place. Yesterday in the beer garden, unfriendly bartender, bad fries, complicated ordering system. New is the cocktail lounge next to the beer garden. Super nice service. It is not obvious to the guest that there are three different businesses in the same place. Non-alcoholic beer is only available in the beer garden. So you can't drink with colleagues in the same place even though it's an owner, incomprehensible. A pity. I hope the concept will be revised again.

Location really nice, head waiter (the corpulent one) very rude. He also makes his own colleagues look like idiots. Eating so-so, salad dressing and Jägerschnitzel sauce from the package. Don't have to come here again now.

Sehr schöne Location mit Blick auf den Seerhein. Das Reichenauer Gemüse mit Ofenkartoffel und saurer Sahne war lediglich erhitzt und aufgetaut ohne jegliche Würzung. Kostenpunkt 18,-- Euro. Auf Nachfrage wurde eine Miniportion saurer Sahne nachgereicht und zusätzlich berechnet. Das gleiche Gemüse mit Reis statt Kartoffel war noch schlimmer. Es gab nichts dazu. Keine Sauce, kein Dip nichts. Eine Unverschämtheit bei dem Preis. Am besten nur etwas trinken und den Blick genießen.

We had reserved and there was little activity with enough staff. Orders were received slowly and incompletely. We had to wait almost an hour for the food and it was of Balkan grill standard. The beautiful and well-kept rooms and the beer garden by the water mean you can expect more at a robust price level.

The Bleiche is a very beautiful old building with history. The premises are clean and very nicely decorated. The view of the water is very relaxing. The food was very good but a little warmer would have been great. Service was great even if we were momentarily forgotten because there was a lot going on. Overall very tasty and beautiful.

We were invited to a wedding. Apparently it was the second one that day, and yet the restaurant was also open to other guests. So you can imagine how stressful it must have been for the employees. So first of all, big praise to the team. You made sure it wasn't 1 or 2 stars. The interior looked great! However, there was still some building rubble outside, and the further you walked around, the worse it got. Now to the knockout criterion: the food. Of course, it may well be that the food is really great on a regular visit. However, that wasn't the case here. Starting with the aperitif: There were definitely not enough drinks. When we arrived we had to wait 10 minutes before we were even offered anything; Even water was not available. The aperitif pastries – and I really mean aperitif pastries like you would find in the supermarket – were served to us as aperitif nibbles. Now to the main course: The buffet that was served at the wedding was a disgrace. I don't know what the bride and groom paid for it, but any run-of-the-mill canteen would have done better. The food looked pretty unappetizing, so I only helped myself to simple dishes. But even those were poorly prepared. Plain rice was oversalted, the vegetables were overcooked and the meat was tough. I heard from other guests that the schnitzel smelled of old frying oil, for example. In addition, there were no more fries when half of the guests had their turn. Of course, it is possible that there were simply too many people there that day and the team was overwhelmed. However, I'm wondering how one would want to hold two weddings on the same day and still serve regular guests. Profit was definitely put before quality here. I mean, the bride and groom have already paid, so it doesn't matter. That's really a pity.

Half of the staff don't speak German, every time they comment "don't understand, I have to get a colleague" The German-speaking colleague was a bit cheeky for us, we were there with 5 adults and 2 children, one of the adults was my husband's mother. And the gentleman always says to her and what kind of mother can it be, so she found that disrespectful.

The ambience was fantastic, the location right on the water and the general atmosphere in the restaurant was great. All the guests were thrilled and found it very nice. Very unfriendly service. Wanted to put us on a non -reserved table and the waiter mine is reserved and said "you have to ask me first" 1. Since when do we have dozens of each other? 2. The table must be marked with a reserved sign, otherwise how will the customer know. The waiter doesn't do his job properly and takes it out on the customer. This is so unacceptable.

Bleiche is our favorite restaurant in Konstanz. We usually go there on Sundays for lunch. The food is very ok and the price is fair. The tables are always beautifully and cleanly prepared. There is plenty of space and it is quiet. We also like the waiter or junior manager who does funny things.

We were there twice. Both times the waiters were very unfriendly and inflexible. The first time we were a larger group and wanted to pay separately. The waiter was super annoyed throughout the entire payment process and finally rudely threw the tip back on the table and said we should keep it and then hissed away grumpily without saying goodbye. There wasn't much going on and we were very polite so his behavior was incomprehensible and unprofessional. The second time there were two of us. We sat down at a table and a waiter came after a few minutes and brought the cards and then quickly took the order. While we were waiting for our food, a table a few tables away right by the water became available and we sat down because there was no reserved sign on the table. Our food was served normally and was quite passable. Immediately after eating we wanted to order another meal for a friend who was on the way and more drinks for us and pay for everything at the same time. Our request was not granted. We weren't allowed to order anything else and had to go in to pay because, according to the waiter, we had "just cheekily" sat down at the free table by the water without asking first. We told him that there was no reserved sign on the table and no one had pointed out to us that the table was supposed to be reserved. The terrace was busy but there were still a lot of free tables. He didn't elaborate and held out the card machine for us to pay. When we walked past the beer garden again half an hour later, the table was still free and not reserved. Even if the table had been reserved, he could have politely directed us to another table and taken our further order. There were enough free tables. During the meal we also heard a discussion between two waiters in front of and with customers, as a waiter had seated the customers at a supposedly reserved table where there was no reserved sign. Conclusion: Unprofessional, unfriendly and interested in unnecessary power games with paying, friendly customers. Just embarrassing.

Went there for dinner at Easter, the food was average, the turkey was very dry and the schnitzel was a bit burnt, but the rump steak was good, the ambience is more like a train station hall. The wooden benches were a bit dilapidated. When another guest leaned back, I noticed that the wooden strip on the bench in the back was apparently rotten. The service made a little more effort.

The restaurant/building is very lovely..it is right at the Rhein in Bodensee. The food is OK but the services, our waiter was a very good one. Therefore we did enjoy our dinner.

When I arrived, the ambience immediately caught my eye; the atmosphere here felt excellent. Our order was taken less than 2 minutes late for service, drinks arrived straight away, not to mention the food was excellently cooked. Plus this location is simply fantastic. I really recommend anyone who wants to eat German home cooking to come here, everything is really top, it's a shame that you can't give more stars!

We celebrated a christening and birthday yesterday with around 70 guests and had a fantastic time! The buffet food was perfectly prepared and offered an excellent selection. The service was truly outstanding - the staff was attentive, friendly and catered to our every need. The cleanliness of the restaurant and the location were also outstanding. In addition, the restaurant offers excellent value for money. We can highly recommend it!

Nous sommes arrivés légèrement en retard par rapport à la réservation ce qui a eu l’air d’agacer fortement le serveur. Nous avons été placés à une table sans même que celle-ci soit nettoyée ou la nappe changée. Le repas était bon mais froid et la salade d’entrée a été servie en même temps que notre repas, ce qui n’a pas été le cas pour la table voisine. On nous a pas demandé si nous étions intéressés à avoir un café ou un dessert. Dommage, car l’endroit est superbe et la nourriture est bien faite mais le service laisse fortement à désirer.

Super Restaurant. Essen war sehr lecker,man musste nicht lange warten. Ambiente ist mega. Waren im Winter und abends dort sicher auch im Sommer herrlich. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das extrem aufmerksame und freundliche Personal. Haben uns so wohl gefühlt dass wir am nächsten Tag direkt nochmal hin sind. Sollten wir mal wieder in Konstanz sein, werden wir wieder vorbei schauen. Absolut zu empfehlen.
