Theater d'Badisch Bühn and restaurant in one! A theater visit with a stopover! D'Badisch Bühn dialect theater is always worth a visit.

There were three of us in the restaurant today. The service was attentive but made a mistake with the drinks and when we ordered food she forgot to put a receipt on one of the dishes. We had to wait 45 minutes for two salads and the burger wasn't on the receipt. We didn't have any time as everything took so long. The three of us shared the two poultry salads which were totally tasteless. The restaurant is much better in other cities. The service was really friendly but with three tables they were already overwhelmed. The long wait is probably due to Lieferando. The guests in the restaurant just have to wait when the delivery service comes. Bad concept.

We went to Husky Karlsruhe for a children's birthday party and went on a husky hike. Afterwards we walked with 10 children and 3 adults to Am Albufer where we reserved a table in advance and were given perfect advice about food and drinks by email in advance. When we got there we found a very nicely prepared table, there were gummy bears ready for each child and the table was decorated with Smarties. The 10 boys made a fuss but were calmed down in a super friendly and humorous way. The tarte flambée we ordered was served quickly and tasted excellent. At the end, each child received a delicious scoop of ice cream. We can only recommend Am Albufer to everyone, not just for breakfast or ice cream, but also for a children's birthday party. Thank you

Best and awesome foods with reasonable waiting time and price in Karlsruhe. It has been never failed to eat any menu/plates. Good balance to use garlic and soy sources!

As for the ambience, it's simple and okay. Not really appealing, but not uncomfortable either. For food, I ordered a salami pizza with mushrooms which had a nice thin base and a fluffy edge. With more authentic toppings it was very, very good. I also ordered a minced meat pide which unfortunately, in my opinion, smelled/tasted slightly rancid due to the oil spread on the edge. Unfortunately I had to give it back after I had barely tried it. It can happen and it's not a bad thing, is what I wanted to say afterwards. Were there as a group and I wasn't the only one who found the smell strange. Regarding the service, at first he was very nice and put a table together for us, later when I raised the problem in private at the service counter, he seemed slightly irritated to me and said I was the first to complain about it and it was probably because I wasn't hungry anymore. To him it would smell normal. Unfortunately, I didn't find it as nice and accommodating as before. I paid the full price. Pizza+Pide+thirst quencher, €24.50 (€25)

Authentic Italian cuisine, delicious pasta and pizza bread. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. Fits !

Great location, unfortunately hopelessly understaffed when we were there... It's a shame because it offers so much potential!
