Wirkt von außen unscheinbar, aber das Buffet ist wirklich großartig. Wir waren nach einem langen Tag im Zoo dort zum Abendbuffet und waren über die zahlreiche Auswahl und die Güte der Speisen sehr positiv überrascht. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr gerne wieder!

Indisch essen vom Buffet. Einfach super. Sehr zu empfehlen.

0 Sterne in echt für dieses "Essen". Zwei Mal bestellt, zweites Mal aus Versehen, beide Male musste ich das Essen wegwerfen weil der Nachgeschmack des Fleisches welches in einer Faden Soße ertränkt wurde mich an altes gamliges Hähnchenfleisch erinnerte. Zudem lief beide Mal Öl durch die Pappkarton-Tüte mit der die Aluschalen transportiert wurden. Der Fertig-Michreis war wegen dem künstlichem Rosenaroma auch ungenießbar.

Tolle und leckere Auswahl, es gibt insbesondere auch viele vegane Speisen auf der Karte. Freundlicher Service und angemessene/vergleichsweise günstige Preise.

Einiges vom Essen am Buffet war eindeutig alt. Das Schlimmste war aber der Kellner, der, glaube ich, auch der Besitzer war. Er schimpfte mit uns: „Es ist All-you-can-eat, nicht All-you-can-eat“, weil wir noch etwas Essen auf den Tellern hatten. Er bestand darauf, dass wir Limonade kaufen, und als ich sagte, dass ich jetzt keine wollte, starrte er mich an, als hätte ich ihm sein Monatseinkommen weggenommen. Nach 20 Sekunden peinlichem Anstarren bat ich ihn, mir auch eine zu bringen, damit er endlich gehen konnte. Ich verstehe ja, dass es schrecklich ist, Essen wegzuwerfen, aber wir hatten nur noch ein paar Reste. Er wurde wütend, nahm unsere Teller und ging mit Blick auf das Essen, das wir übrig gelassen hatten, in die Küche. So etwas ist mir noch nie passiert, eine wirklich schreckliche Erfahrung. Mein Freund sagte ihm sogar, dass ihm nicht alles geschmeckt hat. Was ist das für ein Kellner, der so mit seinen Gästen umgeht? Wenn es im Geschäft nicht gut läuft, sollte man das nicht an den Kunden auslassen. Und noch ein Tipp: Hören Sie auf, mit Ihrem Handy auf den Stühlen zu sitzen, wo die Gäste Platz nehmen. Seien Sie etwas diskreter. Ich hoffe, Sie lernen daraus.

Sehr schlechte Erfahrung – absolut nicht empfehlenswert Der Service war eine Katastrophe. Der Kellner hatte überhaupt kein professionelles Verhalten und stand von Anfang an die ganze Zeit neben unserem Tisch, sodass wir nicht einmal in Ruhe unser Essen auswählen konnten. Das Hähnchen war offensichtlich alt, aufgewärmt und trocken. Als ich ein Stück auf dem Teller liegen ließ, wurde ich vom Kellner unverschämt darauf angesprochen, dass so etwas „nicht geht“ und ich das Buffet ausnutzen würde. So einen respektlosen und unangemessenen Kommentar gegenüber Gästen habe ich noch in keinem Restaurant erlebt. Insgesamt war meine Erfahrung extrem schlecht, und ich werde definitiv nie wiederkommen.

Die Person, die die Speisekarte aufnimmt, ist unverschämt und respektlos. Als Inderin schäme ich mich sehr für dieses Verhalten. Ich hatte eine wirklich schlimme Erfahrung. Deutsche werden gut behandelt, aber Asiaten fühlen sich von diesen Leuten minderwertig. Der Besitzer sollte sich das unbedingt merken. Das Essen ist wirklich lecker und das Ambiente ist sehr gepflegt. Dafür ein großes Lob! Aber das Personal, insbesondere dieser eine Typ, ist unmöglich.

Wer keine allzu hohen Ansprüche hat, kann das Buffet wählen. Ab 17 Uhr kostet es 18 Euro. Bei unserem Besuch wurde das Essen nur selten nachgefüllt und war lauwarm. Es wurde kaum darauf geachtet, den Tisch abzuräumen oder Getränke anzubieten. Die Gerichte waren nicht scharf, was ich von anderen indischen Restaurants gewohnt bin. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

Nettes Personal und gutes Essen.

Ich habe 22 Euro für ein Buffet bezahlt, bei dem man Getränke bestellen musste, während das Essen noch halb gar war. Unverschämt! Wegen des Feiertags verlangten sie 4 Euro Aufpreis, was ich ja verstehe, aber bei so hohen Preisen sollte die Qualität des Essens stimmen. Das Lamm war nicht durchgebraten und roch unangenehm. Die anderen Gerichte schmeckten auch nicht besonders gut, nur das Butterhuhn war ganz lecker. Zum Nachtisch gab es Eis. Kurzum: viel zu viel bezahlt.

Meiner Meinung nach das beste indische Essen, das der traditionellen indischen Küche am nächsten kommt. Die Tomatensuppe und die Hühnchengerichte sind hervorragend. Kheer ist in Ordnung, aber gebratenes Hühnchen und Garnelen sind köstlich.

For us it’s a mandatory visit when going to Karlsruhe! The staff is friendly, everything is organised and as a vegetarian, the food suits my needs perfectly. I truly find everything delicious, especially the “creamy” and also the spicy options.

The behavior of the owner was really bad. At first, we thought of ordering a buffet lunch and discussed the various options with the owner, as two others in our group wanted to have something different. Later, we decided to order just finger foods. However, when it was time to pay, he handed us a bill that included the buffet. I told him we hadn’t ordered that, but he said the bills are prepared beforehand and that he would charge us for it next time. It was a really strange and unprofessional attitude. Definitely not going there again.

This is our third visit to this place, hands down the closest to authentic desi food I’ve found in Germany so far! The buffet is pocket friendly, with a great variety of dishes that are always refilled and never limited. Fresh, hot rotis are served right at your table, which is such a nice touch. Drinks aren’t included in the buffet, but that’s perfectly fine because the spread already includes salads, soups, and desserts. The service is also very warm and welcoming. Highly recommend it for anyone craving real desi flavors!

We stopped here for a break on our way to Strasbourg, and I'm so glad we did! We ate the lunch buffet, which had tons of veggie and non-veggie options for a great price. Everything was super tasty, except the kheer, which wasn't that great. We got the mango lassi, which was delicious, but the small size was enough (we didn't know that). The staff was super friendly, and we even forgot our sunglasses there, but they kept them safe for us. There's plenty of room to eat there. I'd totally come back if I'm ever driving through Karlsruhe again.

All-you-can-eat buffet during the day for €14.90. It tasted absolutely delicious. Everything was freshly prepared. We sometimes had to wait for the fresh naan and wait for the drams to be refilled. It's huge, as you can sit upstairs or outside.

I have enjoyed coming here for years but for the last few months a young woman has been working there. She walks around the buffet with her hair down the whole time, which is simply disgusting. My sister unfortunately had a long black hair in her food the last time we visited, which is simply disgusting. It should be forbidden to work at the restaurant with her hair down, really disgusting. That was our last visit.

I've been coming here more or less regularly for 30 years. Unbeatable value for money. The buffet is small, well-organized, and well-thought-out. Forget the bad reviews—I have no idea where they were. I always eat the same thing there: butter chicken, lamb, rice, and spinach. I highly recommend it.

I was there for lunch and asked for gluten-free and vegan options. They also offered me a delicious vegetable curry and a salad from the lunch buffet. The fact that I had ordered spicy food was overlooked. It's a restaurant with heart: A person in need came in and asked for something to eat. They filled her plate from the buffet. A very simple restaurant suitable for a wide range of eaters 😉😂 The food selection is limited. The taste is more like a Chinese buffet. There are no special Indian dishes. The buffet price is OK at €14.90. The ambiance is rather simple, not Indian in my opinion. Two types of ice cream are surprisingly tasty. All in all, filling enough, but nothing more.

The dining experience was exceptional. The quality of food was high and the options were diverse and everything was tasty. The staff were super nice and accommodating and the atmosphere overall was nice. They had absolutely amazing shrimp and chicken. Highly recommended!! Even the ice cream afterwards was pretty good.

We were there at 11:30am today. The food in the very sparse buffet was generally lukewarm to cold. The taste was okay, normal Indian standard. You only saw the waitress when you picked up the drinks, you had to come to him to pay because he hadn't noticed the customer sufficiently!

Ich war bisher fünf Mal hier zum Mittagessen und habe das 'All you can eat'-Büffet genommen. Für 14.90 Euro gibt es eine Auswahl zwischen ca. 5 Fleischspeisen und ca. 8 vegetarischen Speisen, dazu Reis und Naan-Brot, Minz-Soße und Mango-Chutney, sowie einen einfachen Salat und Milchreis. Für diesen Preis unschlagbar.! Wer einmal die indische Küche ausprobieren will, wird hier bestens bedient. Ebenso, wer sich für wenig Geld satt essen will. Sehr empfehlenswert!

We were there on a Saturday evening and got a table right away. However, we opted for the à la carte menu. It was very authentic Indian food; we had butter chicken and lamb. Absolutely delicious; we'll definitely be back. :)

Buffet top! The containers are refilled every 5 to 10 minutes. The food is warm and fresh. The buffet is small and clear, not too overloaded. The staff and the boss were very nice. Dishes are cleared away regularly and people are asked how they are doing. The guest literally gets his butt powdered here.

In diesem Restaurant gibt es zu einem echt guten Preis ein Buffet (à la carte ist aber auch möglich) mit vielen warmen Gerichten, die alle immer großartig schmecken (Salatbar und Süßes gibt es auch dazu). Die wirklich köstlichen Speisen sind dabei sehr abwechslungsreich. Geheimtip: der indische Rahmspinat. Ein besonderes Lob muß ich auch noch dem Wirt aussprechen: Dieser Mann strahlt solch eine authentische Freundlichkeit aus, daß man sich sofort willkommen und wohl fühlt. Seit etwa 20 Jahren ist das mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Karlsruhe. Mittlerweile wohne ich in Freiburg; aber trotzdem komme ich gerne immer wieder her - zuletzt um dort meinen Geburtstag zu feiern.

I must say this is one of best fine dine restaurant in karlsruhe. They offer high quality Indian Buffet. I have enjoyed their butter chicken, Lamb Curry, Jhinga Pakora, Palak paneer & Mango Lassi a lot. Taste & Food Quality was amazing. At ground floor they have restaurant with great ambience. They also offer ala carte however I have enjoyed their unlimited buffet. I have found buffet price very reasonable. They also have party hall where we can plan party for 20 people to 60 people. Because I love their food and ambience so I will definitely plan my birthday celebration here. Keep doing good Job😊

A must visit resraurant in Karlsruhe. Amazing food with amazing atmosphere. Only place for authentic Indian taste in Karlsruhe. They have both veg and non-veg options in their buffet. They have a variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks, and their mango lassi is the best.They have nice space on their 1st floor for parties or get together , with seating arrangements.

The buffet food was not bad in taste but, they tricked us and charged more... A small glass of water costed €2?! Mango lassi €3.8 Normal lassi €3.5 Lassi was not mentioned before that it is not included in the buffet... Clearly just waiting to pull out your money... would not go here again

We spontaneously went for lunch here today on New Year's Eve because we don't know our way around Karlsruhe. Surprisingly good cuisine with very good value for money. Service was quick and friendly so we immediately felt at home. I've read the worse reviews before and can only shake my head...of course there are a lot of Indian-inspired names with completely wrong reviews...something like that annoys us. Here you can even get rum or a good mango schnapps and, as it should be, not ice-cold. We definitely recommend this Indian restaurant.

The location is convenient. Great buffet menu (changes everyday). Mango lassi and tea are good. I often go there. The owner is nice and welcoming. Never had any complaints.

We were there in the evening for all you can eat, but the food was cold and the service was terrible. No one came to our table to take drinks or provide any other information about the buffet. The food was ok, nothing special but everything was cold to luke warm. When we told the waiter this, the boss came and explained that we shouldn't take the food from above but from below, but that wasn't possible since you take sauce from below anyway. Nothing was refilled at 7:30 p.m., which is why there was only a little available and it was cold. Not recommended.
