Food is not up to the mark. Also the waiter was extremely arrogant with the customer. The group of people seating next to us already informed about his stupid attitude and then we also experienced the same. Rating 2/5

We were there in the evening for all you can eat, but the food was cold and the service was terrible. No one came to our table to take drinks or provide any other information about the buffet. The food was ok, nothing special but everything was cold to luke warm. When we told the waiter this, the boss came and explained that we shouldn't take the food from above but from below, but that wasn't possible since you take sauce from below anyway. Nothing was refilled at 7:30 p.m., which is why there was only a little available and it was cold. Not recommended.

The all you can eat buffet was a disappointment. Far from authentic Indian cuisine. Only hope left for this place is Gordon Ramsey.

My favorite in Karlsruhe for Indian food. Tastes very good. Portions are usually very sufficient. Service friendly and quick. Fairly priced and there is also a lunch menu. I recommend trying out the “all you can eat” menu. That's usually enough and there are different dishes than at the buffet.

Buffet is a pretty good deal. It tasted really good! But the gentleman at the service is so unpleasant, it's unbelievable. I just had to get rid of it because my family and I felt treated incredibly unfairly. Otherwise I really don't write bad reviews because I think you should just let yourself live, but we felt so uncomfortable. The waiter comes and asks what you would like to drink. The three of us shared two drinks because my little sister doesn't have much of an appetite and just wanted to have a drink with me. The waitress immediately turns away and mutters/blasphemes something about us in a very annoyed manner as we leave. Age!!! It doesn't work at all.

Bääääm - 50% percent “corona inflation surcharge”. I know the Continent from the "pre-inflation period" and was there 2-3 times a year for the lunch buffet for 9 euros. On my last visit I paid 14.90 euros for the buffet. The almost 50% surcharge cannot be justified by “Corona & Inflation” alone - sorry. The food is still ok, I always liked the chicken dishes and the pakora. Salad and dessert bar are rather "well" and simple standard.

Delicious. Indian All You Can Eat buffet daily until 5 p.m. for 14.90 euros per person and from 5 p.m. and on weekends for 17.90 euros per person. Good selection and everything Halal! I love spicy Indian food. Drinks cost extra, e.g. Cola 3 euros. I recommend parking on Adlerstrasse and cashing in a parking ticket. From there it's less than a minute's walk to the restaurant. Good selection of dishes, a good introduction to Indian food, of course not quite like in India, always happy! Here too the price/performance ratio is right!

On June 29th, 2024 we celebrated our wedding at the Continent restaurant. The owners were able to help us very well with the preliminary discussions and were very open to our wishes. The food was beyond delicious and everything was fresh. The guests were thrilled with the buffet. The service was friendly and the drinks we ordered were brought to the table extremely quickly. We are grateful and would without question celebrate our wedding in the restaurant again.

The food is really not tasty as compared to high price. Most of the dishes stay empty and are not refilled in time...as staff is highly busy in preparing orders for lieferando instead of caring the customers in restaurant..the staff orders expensive drink volume without asking the customers.....

We were there for the evening buffet. There was very little choice. No dessert salad was empty. Hasn't been refilled. Food didn't taste good. Way too much salt and way too spicy. When the man came to the table and asked us if everything was OK, we told him that the breaded one wasn't done, so he took the breaded one from our plate, opened it with his hands and showed us that everything was fine would be, which I didn't find appropriate. After 20 minutes we left. The price was also calculated incorrectly. We paid €76 for three people. We each had one cola per person plus the evening buffet

First of all, a delicious soup, that was a must. The meal afterwards will definitely fit in. I chose the buffet and was very happy with it. Although I wasn't allowed to enjoy ice cream at the end, that couldn't spoil my good impression of the continent.

We ordered from Lieferando and have been happy with the food so far. However, today the Indian dips came in small plastic bowls with our appetizer platter for two people and didn't even fill the bottom. (3 small bowls for 2 people). That annoyed us extremely, especially since it is not possible to order extra dips for an additional charge. That would be an option. It was a dry affair and greatly spoiled the enjoyment. Unfortunately, you can't order extra raita etc., which is easily possible in other Indian restaurants.

Good place if you want to try variety of Indian food. I didn't try the buffet though. I had kadhai paneer and kofta, both of which lacked flavor. Just an okaish taste for Indians. There salted buttermilk was tasty and filling.

The food was delicious. However, there was no choice of vegetables, only chicken. What I thought was a shame, I saw twice that a waiter simply took two or three pieces of something from the buffet that was served with his bare hand. I found that disgusting. Of course, the employee can also take something, but at least with a spoon and plate and not just with their hand and putting it in their mouth. We also take spoons that they provided.

Food is OK. The price is often calculated incorrectly. Or there are conditions for corporate customers that were not agreed upon and are still served to employees.

A very classy nice restaurant. A warm welcoming, followed by an excellent service, with a lot of attention to details on order. I took first a buffet and other was awesome with 4 types of non veg dishes following butter butter naan and roti. The other main highlight is their mango lassi. it was awesome.

Das Ambiente zeugt von besseren Tagen, die liebevolle Holzverkleidung weist Löcher auf. Aber alles sauber, das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Teller am Buffet sind vorgewärmt, dennoch waren manche Speisen kalt, als ich zu essen begann, somit ist das Buffet nicht richtig beheizt. Die Gerichte waren gut nicht herausstechend, aber vielfältig, das Salatbuffet etwas dünn befüllt um 19.00 Uhr. Der Nachtisch war Obstsalat aus der Dose. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis passt jedoch.

Buffet ab 17:00 kostet 18.90 viel zu teuer,Und es gibt nicht,s besonderes, Kein Chapati , viel Fritiertes, wenig frisches Gemüse, Salatbüffet befriedigend ,Nachtisch Dosenobst und wässrigen Milchreis, es wird erst viel zu spät aufgefüllt, und es ist im Restaurant echt kalt, Da isst man besser ab 17:00 aus der Karte .

Das Buffet über die Mittagszeit ist lecker und wird immer frisch nachgefüllt. Da es sich um Buffet handelt gibt es natürlich keinen Service am Platz. Der Service beschränkt sich auf die Getränke. Das Ambiente ist Recht "kühl". Die Betreiber machen das Beste was geht. Dennoch hat man das Gefühl, es wird das nötigste gerade gemacht. Die Preise für das Buffet haben angezogen! Es ist a) teuer geworden und b) ist kein Getränk mehr inklusive. Für das Buffet mit einem Softdrink sind jetzt rund 19€ fällig. Das ist schön krass! Ich komme trotzdem wieder.

Wir kommen immer wieder sehr gerne weil wir immer herzlich empfangen werden und die Atmosphäre sehr schön ist. Das Team ist immer super nett und freundlich. Meine Ehefrau kann kein Wochenende ohne ihren Masala Chai und Aloo Parantha überleben. Liebhaber des indischen Essens werden diesen Ort lieben.

I order from this place via UberEats, but their food is amazing. I have a had a bunch of different dishes and so far each one has been delightful. They even include little extras to your order such as Naan or a salad, which has always been much appreciated. My favorite dish is the Kokosnuss Chicken. It’s spicy, which I love.

I'm a bit puzzled by why this is rated as a less expensive restaurant. The dinner buffet is priced at 18EUR and the quality of the food is just okay - the ingredients are fresh, but the preparation is very ordinary - grocery-store-level. What put me off most was the sneaky hidden costs. If you must order a drink to sit down for a buffet, then maybe include the price of a minimum drink in the buffect price upfront? We ordered a water and an apfelschorle, and found while paying that we had been charged for a "large water" and a "large apfelschorle". Apparently the gentleman in charge thinks it is perfectly justified that the waiter assumes you mean large if you don't specify the size. It makes no business sense to pull the wool over your customer's eyes like that, unless you really need the extra euro, or you're serving something special. Not taking names of competitors, but I know they're not serving anything special you can't find elsewhere in Karlsruhe, maybe farther from campus. There is a lot of oil and butter in the food, and the aftertaste is worse than the taste. I liked some of the dishes like the chilli chicken and the fresh naan that the lady promptly brought out after I pointed out that the bread on the buffet was no longer edible, but most dishes were disappointing in very elementary ways - undersalted or oversalted, fried fish was battered too thick and cooked too quickly, palak paneer was mostly just tel palak, lamb was tough and undercooked and so on. If you do try this place, remember to ask for the fresh naan.

Ein indisches Restaurant in der Nähe des Kronenplatz. Hier gibt es ab ca. 11:30 Uhr ein All you can eat Buffett sowohl mit vegetarischen als auch Fleisch oder Fisch Gerichten. Ausserdem kann man auch von einer Karte bestellen. Und man kann essen bis man satt ist.

Bestes Essen zum angemessenen Preis. Wir waren schon oft dort und kommen wieder.

Mehrfach schon online zum Abholen bestellt, immer zügig zubereitet und abholbereit. Essen schmeckt super, diverse Dips sind immer inklusive bei der Bestellung, beim Abholen gab's in der Wartezeit während die Bestellung eingepackt worden ist noch einen Mango Lassi aufs Haus.

Freitags 16:50 Uhr an einem Regentag, das All-you-can-eat (16,50€) Restaurant besucht, deswegen wenig aber weniger Kunden vorort gewesen. Vom Essen her kann ich nicht klagen, war alles da und gefüllt, Auswahl war überschaubar aber reicht vollkommen aus. Kann ich weiter empfehlen.

I really liked the buffet and the variety of options. The taste was really great. I could take away one star for the items in buffet as they were not warm enough. Rotis become papad and pakodas turn to paneer when they aren't warm. One could definitely agree about the expensive price as it is on par with the size of the restaurant and the ambiance it provides.

Als ich reinkam sehr freundlich auch von der Küche jemand mit blauen Hemd und Punkte hat mich gesehen und gleich begrüßt wie auch der Kellner. Essen ist sehr lecker und Preis Leistung auch super ich hatte noch ein traditionellen Chai Kännchen hmm 🥰 Schöne Inneneinrichtung allerdings für Menschen mit Geheinschränkung leider nix zum bitte nur mitnehmen, weil WC ist im 1 Stock. Sonst ich war sehr zufrieden und komme gerne wieder. Wir waren zum Abendbuffet dort. Das Essen war in Ordnung aber nichts besonderes. Wir waren um 20 Uhr dort, jedoch wurde das Essen danach nicht mehr ausgefüllt, sodass wir kaum noch eine Auswahl hatten. Das Dessert war eine Katastrophe nur noch Salat und das ist kein Dessert! Sehr schade! Die Mitarbeiter waren damit beschäftigt die Tische abzuwischen und den Abwasch zu erledigen, als sich um die Kunden zu kümmern. Das Restaurant schließt um 22 Uhr und um 20 Uhr war schon Ende beim Buffet! Für 16,90 € zu teuer! Kartenzahlung erst ab 40€ möglich was frech und nicht in Ordnung war. Einmal und nie wieder!!!!!!

This is our go to place for Indian food in Karlsruhe since almost 2 years now. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend this place!!

Mein Mann und ich gehen dort immer wieder sehr gerne hin. Waren mal ne Zeit lang süchtig und fast 3 x die Woche dort. Zum Glück haben wir uns jetzt unter Kontrolle und genießen das leckere Essen nun ebenfalls regelmäßig aber nicht mehr so oft. Vor allem gibt es auch wundervolle vegetarische bzw. vegane Gerichte. Definitiv eines der besten Restaurants in Karlsruhe!

I love their Karahi Murgh and Chilli Chicken! If you are a vegetarian I could only recommend their vegetarian dishes. Not only the food is great but the stuff is really nice, too.

Wir waren schon zwei mal da und haben das Mittagsbuffet für 12.90 Euro gegessen. Man konnte sich bei ca. 12 verschiedenen warmen Speisen bedienen (4 Fleischgerichte und 8 vegetarische), dazu bei einem einfachen Salatbuffet. Die Qualität der Gerichte war gut. Für diesen Preis eine sehr gute Gelegenheit, die indische Küche auszuprobieren. Das Ambiente ist schlicht und geschmackvoll, die Bedienung höflich.
