Dieses Restaurant ist wirklich schön, mit gutem Essen, freundlichem Service und einer angenehmen Atmosphäre. Ich bestellte Tandoori Chicken und Masala mit Naan und kann es allen empfehlen, die es nicht so scharf mögen – es ist warm, saftig und aromatisch (nur eben nicht scharf). Die Atmosphäre war fantastisch, mit indischer Dekoration auf dem Tisch, und ich habe wirklich aufgepasst, die schöne Tischdecke nicht zu beschädigen. Außerdem (auch wenn es sich nicht um einen unschuldigen Mann handelt, was wir hier mal ignorieren wollen) vermittelt das Restaurant seinen Gästen einen guten Einblick in das Leben und Werk Mahatma Gandhis. Der Service war hervorragend, trotz der Stoßzeit bekamen wir unser Essen schnell, und die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und unterhielten sich nett mit uns (was ich sehr schätze). Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ich hatte ein super leckeres Essen, Hühnercurry und Ente. Für einen Samstagabend war es nicht sehr voll, aber trotzdem angenehm. Der Kellner, ein sehr netter junger Mann, war höflich.

Das hat mit gutem indischem Essen absolut nichts zu tun. Die Qualität war enttäuschend und entspricht in keiner Weise dem, was man erwartet. Noch schlimmer war jedoch der Lieferfahrer: extrem unfreundlich, hat mich sogar beleidigt und wollte partout nicht akzeptieren, dass ich kein Trinkgeld geben möchte. Ein derart respektloses Verhalten habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt. So geht man nicht mit Kunden um! Ich kann nur jedem davon abraten, hier zu bestellen oder das Restaurant zu besuchen. Spart euch den Ärger und geht lieber woanders hin.

Ich dachte, ich bestelle indisches Essen bekommen habe ich eher ein Improvisationstheater. Das Essen hatte ungefähr so viel mit Indien zu tun wie ein Döner mit Sushi. Geschmacklich eine spannende Reise… allerdings eher in Richtung „Wo ist hier der Notausgang?“. Ich rate jedem hier nicht zu bestellen und einfach weiter zu fahren

Schon lange nicht mehr so gut Indisch gegessen. Zuvorkommender Service, angenehmes Ambiente, Ordentliche und Schmackhafte Portionen.

Nettes und freundliches Plätzchen. Das Essen ist stark an die hiesige deutsche Küche angepasst. Leider mit viel zu langweilig. Weder Schärfe noch frische Kick durch Koriander und co kamen durch. Super nette Wirtsleute!! Empfehlung für alle die gern mal einen Hauch des Zaubers der indischen Küche schmecken wollen.

Fantastisches Essen, wahrscheinlich das beste der vielen indischen Restaurants in Kaschmir. Außerdem ist es ideal, wenn man glutenfreies Essen sucht. Die meisten Gerichte sind standardmäßig glutenfrei, und das Personal kennt sich mit Zöliakie aus. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis für meine Mutter mit Zöliakie, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ❤️

Wir waren zwei Tage hintereinander da, um verschiedene Gerichte zu testen. Was sollen wir sagen? Wir können einfach nichts bemängeln. Ganz im Gegenteil, wir müssen sehr loben: sauber, ordentlich, super freundlich und offener Service. Entspannte Atmosphäre, wir konnten uns super unterhalten. Geschmacklich super frisch und angenehm. I spontaneously decided to eat Indian food at this restaurant. Traditional and very authentic. They use genuine Indian spices, and you can taste the difference. I highly recommend it! :)

Excellent food with plenty of gluten-free options! Since the owner's daughter has celiac disease, they're very knowledgeable about gluten-free food. Most dishes are naturally gluten-free or can be made gluten-free. On top of that, the food tastes fantastic and the service is superb!

I went to the Indian restaurant today and was absolutely delighted. The food was freshly prepared and very flavorful, without being too spicy. The butter chicken was creamy and tender, and the naan bread was soft and warm. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Not suitable for vegetarians!! I ordered Shahi Palak Paneer via Lieferando. Although it's a vegetarian dish, it contained meat. As a vegetarian, this is especially disappointing for me. Unacceptable! I advise everyone to avoid this restaurant.

Our favorite Indian restaurant in Karlsruhe for many years. The food is outstanding and consistently delicious. Moreover, this restaurant has been a charming, family-run business for over 10 years. The family cooks and manages the service themselves. Not a chain. You simply have to experience it for yourself; you'll keep coming back.

I've had takeout from here several times and have been impressed every time! It's super delicious, the portions are large, and the staff is very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant's decor is also inviting. I can recommend it to anyone who wants good Indian food.

Stay away!! Ordered Chicken tikka masala (Chicken pieces roasted in an oven and then mixed with curry) and was served some boiled chicken in gravy. When asked, the owner stuck to his point that the meat was cooked in an oven. It made absolute no sense because neither was the meat marinated nor had any signs of being roasted over a flame or oven. The gentleman went on to say that none of the meat they cook in an oven are marinated or roasted!! But apparently there are enough pictures of marinated, skewered n roasted pictures on reviews.

Hello, I recently had a spontaneous meal there with a friend. I can really only recommend it, the food is simply delicious and the price-performance ratio is very, very good, so we were all more than full. The staff was really accommodating and very polite.

Pretty little restaurant with a very good selection of dishes. Palak Paneer and Tarka Dhal were very delicately seasoned, not spicy but not stale either. Onion Bhaji freshly made. Kulfi excellent. Unfortunately, not a small portion could be offered. I wanted to try 2 dishes (asked for a small bowl of dhal) and got 2 normal-sized portions, which was of course too much in terms of quantity. However, the many leftovers were packaged in a friendly manner to take away.

Die Stühle sind etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, vielleicht zu 90° zw. Rückenlehne und Sitzfläche. Das ist aber das Einzige, wofür ich persönlich nun ein Punkt abziehe. Das Essen war super. Vielfältig, große Portionen, super lecker von süßlich scharf bis intensiv würzig. Netter, zuvorkommender Service. Hat man so auch nicht mehr immer. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis voll in Ordnung. Suppe, Menü, Hauptspeisen, Nachtisch. Da muss man einfach nochmal hin, um alles mal probieren zu können.

Das indische Restaurant Taj Palace ist für mich bei jedem Besuch in Karlsruhe ein absolutes Muss. Das Geschmackserlebnis des Essens ist stets hervorragend, und die Atmosphäre im Restaurant schafft genau die richtige Stimmung. Der Service ist außerdem herausragend, die Mitarbeiter sind äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist auch in der heutigen Zeit sehr angemessen, und jeder Euro für das Essen ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Wenn ich Lust auf köstliches indisches Essen habe, ist das Taj Palace meine Nummer 1.

Service sehr gut und aufmerksam, die Speisen vorzüglich vom Geschmack...vielleicht etwas zu kleine Portionen wenn man nur eine Hauptspeise nimmt....aber das weiß ich nun und nehme next mal etwas vorab zu mir. Suppe oder so. Teller waren vorgewärmt und noch mal am Tisch abgerieben. Super!!! Und auch die preislichen Gestaltung ist prima. War überrascht wie günstig das Essen war. Gerne wieder

Come here if you want to pay more for less! 💸👎🏻 The most expensive naan I have ever purchased, in the entire world. Although not bad in taste or quality, it still was not the best. 2,50€ not for an order of several pieces, but for a singular piece of Naan of about the same size as other restaurants provide you 3 of in an order priced at 1,90€ The owner justifies this with having his own tandoor in the kitchen, but I am not impressed. I can list at least 4 other restaurants in this city alone that offer better options at more reasonable prices.

Das Essen war super lecker und es gab eine riesige Auswahl! Wirklich top! Auch die Bedienung war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

Tolles Restaurant mit schönem authentischem Ambiente. Super leckeres Essen (vor allem das Tandoori Bharta) für einen wirklich fairen Preis. Auch das Naan ist zu empfehlen. Was das ganze abrundet ist jedoch das wirklich bemerkenswert freundliche Personal. So herzlich wird man heutzutage selten noch umsorgt. Nicht aufdringlich und man fühlt sich wirklich wohl. Taj Palace ist definitiv eine Empfehlung meinerseits!

Das Essen vom Mittagstisch ist sehr lecker und verhältnismäßig preiswert. Die Portionen sind angemessen. Man sollte bei der Bestellung angeben, wie der Schärfegrad sein sollte. Wir holen regelmäßig unser Essen dort ab - sehr empfehlenswert.
