We took a barbecue course with the family from Martin and Elke. Dishes were agreed upon in advance and the price was set. There were 10 of us and we cooked our way through many delicacies in 4 hours. Everything was casual, stress-free and a very relaxed atmosphere. 😊 The dishes were creative, uncomplicated and SO DELICIOUS! 🤤 Martin and Elke are super friendly and have an anecdote or a suitable saying for every type of preparation. There were also one or two tips for kitchen beginners and professionals. 😂 At the end there were the recipes of the day and a good drop of dark beer of the nobler variety. 😋 Also cool: Martin also does catering at company events and also offers barbecue courses at birthdays and bachelor parties. We will remember. If you just want to spend an afternoon cooking together in a friendly atmosphere and eat well, Martin is the right place for you. Everyone was fed and it was great fun! Gladly again.

We celebrated our 25th company anniversary at the Halle 8 Cooking Workshop – it was simply fantastic! Hannes and Katrin guided us through an unforgettable evening with passion, style, and sensational food. The planning beforehand was already completely relaxed and professional. Everything was just perfect on site – from the atmosphere to the final course. The venue is a real gem: a casual atmosphere with a beautiful outdoor area and thoughtful details, cozy and stylish at the same time. And the menu not only tasted fantastic but was also a visual highlight. A huge thank you for this special evening – we can only highly recommend Halle 8 as an event location!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Irina's Baguette Shop – Highly Recommended! The baguettes at Irina's are simply delicious and always freshly prepared. You can immediately tell that only high-quality ingredients are used here. The bread is crispy on the outside, nice and fluffy on the inside – just as a baguette should be. A particularly practical feature: Reheat it briefly at home – then it tastes like it's fresh from the oven. A real insider tip! The garlic sauce, which is also freshly made and goes perfectly with the baguettes, is also highly recommended. The friendly and humorous staff make you feel immediately welcome – which makes the visit even more pleasant. All in all: top quality, great taste, and great service – absolutely recommended!

We celebrated our civil wedding in Gred Werd on May 10, 2024 and can only 100% recommend the family with their beautiful location. We are really speechless with the great attention to detail that goes into the work here. The preliminary discussions with the development of the menu, the decoration, the contact, everything was very uncomplicated and all of our wishes were taken into account. The service and food were excellent and we couldn't have imagined a nicer place for our celebration. Thank you for contributing so much to making our day so wonderful

You could call it an insider tip: great Syrian food, perfectly seasoned, large portions. The mixed plate in particular is something special. Lovingly put together and prepared. Usually there is only one warm and one cold dish. Doesn't matter. In any case, it's delicious. The room is stylish and very rustic. However, it is not easy to find. In Hamburg's alternative Gangenviertel, up the stairs. Just don't look too closely.

Small, cozy shop, we were there early in the evening and immediately got a nice table. The service was very friendly and the menu was nicely put together. As a starter we had the 6er Mezza, a kind of Arabic tapas, very tasty. For the main course we had shawarma and lamb sausages, both delicious and arrived relatively quickly :) The only downside was that there were no desserts, but they should be on the new menu from next week...
