Pizza was very tasty, unfortunately it arrived a bit cold. But it wasn't a problem.

As a regular customer, I'll give you a review :). We have been visiting Calvello's regularly for almost a year and I am absolutely thrilled with the consistent quality of the pizzas and other dishes. For me personally the best pizza you can find in Munich. Absolutely top price and justified!

We had a great and cozy evening at Calvello's. We climbed the pizza Olympus there. I am sure that I have never eaten a better pizza and will probably never eat a better pizza again. If I could give more than 10 points, it would be 15 out of 10!

Absolutely recommended!!! Since I started eating gluten-free, I unfortunately had to give up pizza and the like. Here you can also eat very good gluten-free pizza upon request.

The food is very good and the service is friendly. However, the ambience doesn't quite match the quality of the food, which is a shame as it might make you decide not to sit down. Unfortunately, the patio furniture in particular is very unstable and wobbles a lot, which makes eating uncomfortable. We would be happy to come back and hope that the ambience will be spiced up a bit to get rid of the snack bar character.

Great Pizza, but that was expected. Service was friendly and the music was a cool vibe, really set the mood. I had the fennel and sausage Pizza which had an interesting flavor and was something new. Definitely recommend for Pizza lovers!

A real pizza 🍕. I found myself in Munich almost by chance and ordered this pizza for home delivery. Very good. My partner took the gluten-free one and was not disappointed, in fact amazed by the goodness of the dough

Excellent pizza, an absolute highlight in terms of taste, but unfortunately there is a deduction for the tone and service.

Ordered by wolt, the pizza was super cold and untasty. Will not order again. Edit after the reply: I am not in contract with Wolt you are. If I am your customer and you provide me this service thorugh Wolt which I pay for, solve it with Wolt not by replying to your customer.

The ambience is not the best considering the price of the place. The cocktails are good and the pizza was made with fresh ingredients. I particularly liked the cheese a lot. I won’t come back because of the ambience of the place.

Excellent: I wanted to wait a few days to give myself enough time to compare this pizza with others. Calvello's sausage and broccoli pizza is the best: soft but not watery, hot until the last slice, the right mix of fior di latte and smoked provola, soft broccoli. A show.

The first time I've been so disappointed with Google reviews! By far one of the unfriendly service I have ever experienced, simply outrageous. Pizza was below average - the prices are clearly too expensive for the quality. You can only pay in cash or with Paypal. Conclusion: Never again!

I visited them on Saturday hoping to eat excellent pizza, but even though the official website said they were open, I arrived disappointed to see they were closed. After my Google review, those affected contacted me on Instagram and threatened me with legal action because of my review. Disaster, I've never seen anything like it.

Really great pizzas and super friendly service. The price is certainly not cheap - the pizzas cost €12-22 in June 2024, but the quality of the ingredients is excellent. You can also sit outside and relax. Absolutely recommended!

Unfortunately, the pizza tasted very bland and the ingredients weren't of the best quality. The atmosphere is completely different than it appears in the pictures, unfortunately more like a snack bar. The food was also on the table within 5 minutes, no time to really relax.

The Pizza is no doubt fantastic. The dough really stands out, being so soft and tasty. If you care about food the most, like me, then this is a great pizza place for you. What didn’t really stand out positively was the service though. Slow, often not present, and one person especially much too informal. If one pays up to roughly 20€ for a pizza, I hope one can expect certain standards 🙈 Ambience is nice. The little outside seating area is cute and with the right weather comfortable.

If I could give 20/5 I would. This place is a must go in Munich if you are craving Italian. The pizzas are crazy good, the drinks are amazing and very timely despite a full restaurant and the service is attentive and friendly. A really good, back to basics, type place. It was a very tasty pizza that didn't blow me away, but was really solid. The service was friendly :)

The pizza is sensational. Unfortunately there was no card payment on March 10, 2024. We were also informed about this via WhatsApp. Apparently due to internet problems. Yes, what can you say - in the middle of Munich and of all places, the restaurant has internet problems. We then paid in cash, but the impression of tax evasion remains. Feel free to watch this and post about it. Update from April 9th, 2024 Reduction from 3 to 1 star Are you wondering why there are only positive reviews here? The operator is taking legal action against negative reviews, so I would like to go into the review above in more detail: I attached my invoice as a screenshot. Please note the invoice number. What I hadn't mentioned above: When we wanted to pay, we had only received an interim invoice. Only after we paid and I asked for a proper invoice was one handed to me.

One of the best pizzas I've ever tried, the owner Massimo was very kind and made us feel really at home, the real Italy in Monaco, it's really worth coming to eat here, I'll be back for sure.

Best pizza I've ever seen and great service, despite the stress on a Friday evening.

Yesterday I had dinner at this Neapolitan restaurant and I loved it. The place is small and cozy. They have Italian and German beer, I ordered Moretti. We all ordered Neapolitan pizza. I ordered the mortadella with buffalo mozarella and pistachio. It was BRUTAL! For dessert we ordered coffee (very delicious) and a babba that came with cream and pistachio cream...the best babba I have ever eaten (they are cooked by the owner's brother, who was a pastry chef in Naples). They were also kind enough to put some sparklers in the dessert, for a friend's birthday. Finally, they gave us to try, courtesy of the house, a shot of capo amaro with peperoncino. It was delicious! I will return for sure. Highly recommended.

Made a reservation in advance for six ppl. Had no issues getting our table. Charming italian service. Drinks and food came quickly and for everyone to start eating together. We really loved our Pizzas with rich toppings and good flavor. Really recommend - we will definitely come again. Pricing for the location and quality is absolutely fair. 5/5 absolute gem!

We went as a large group. Pizzas and bruschetta were very delicious. Pizzas are Naples style, yeast dough, thick on the edges and thin in the middle. The ingredients are fresh and delicious. Babà is a delicious dessert, you should try it. I didn't like the tiramisu very much. The place is small, intimate and shabby. 90's pop songs were playing while we were eating, then it turned to Latin music :) The staff is friendly and fast. The first place to go in Munich for pizza. I advise.

Die Pizzen sind der absolute Wahnsinn! Der Teig ist außergewöhnlich - fluffig, kross, der Rand locker, perfekt aufgegangen und knusprig gleichzeitig. Die Auswahl ist super und auch die Gerichte auf der Wochenkarte sind immer auf den Punkt (z.B. Parmigiana - war ein Traum!). Der Service ist super freundlich und aufmerksam, wir kommen immer wieder gerne hier her. Für mich ist Calvello’s die beste Pizzeria!

Leider vermittelt der Laden auf den Bildern einen sehr irreführenden Eindruck von der Location. Man denkt, es sei ein fancy Restaurant geeignet für ein Date oder Business Dinner. So ist es aber nicht. Es handelt sich hier eher um einen Imbiss, der ein paar Samtstühle aufgestellt hat, um wie ein gehobenes Restaurant zu wirken. Entsprechend wie in einem Imbiss riecht man danach auch stark nach Essen. Zum Essen: die Pizza war sehr lecker. Die Bruschetta leider nicht. Man kann hier auf jeden Fall essen gehen, aber eher auf dem Sprung oder zum Takeaway.

Sono stato per la seconda volta in questa pizzeria, gestita da 2 fratelli italiani. Pizza buonissima, anche in Italia si fatica a trovare una pizza così buona, personale davvero molto gentile e il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo! Super consigliata, e ci tornerò sicuramente presto ☺️

Good Napoletian style pizza. When compared to peers like Napoli Rush, the pizza here is “drier”, with the base being less moist (i.e. tomato sauce dripping off a slice). Whether this drier style of pizza is better is probably up to personal preference though.

Wow! Die Pizza war eine der besten die ich je gegessen habe! Der Mozzarella und die Tomatensoße waren unglaublich aromatisch und der Teig schön fluffig. Die Pizza hätte nicht besser sein können! Die angenehme Atmosphäre und der freundliche Service haben das Erlebnis perfekt abgerundet.

Restaurant is a small one but it is tidy and clean. I felt myself comfortable there. Staff was very kind welcoming. Pizzas we ordered were delicious and prices were reasonable. Additionally primitivo they serve was amazing. Overall me and my girlfriend were satisfied with serving, taste and atmosphere.

Cenare da Calvello's è come un viaggio in Italia, ma senza lo stress di fare le valigie. L’ impasto della pizza è leggero e digeribile, con ingredienti freschi e abbinamenti equilibrati. However, there's room for improvement in the tomato sauce, which is key for any great pizza. While the ingredients are undoubtedly fresh, they can't quite replicate the authentic experience of enjoying a Neapolitan pizza in Napoli or any Mediterranean destination blessed with exceptional local ingredients for that matter.

Wir lieben napolitanische pizza wirklich sehr und haben schon alle bekannten und gehypten spots in München durch und ich muss wirklich sagen: hier ist sie am besten. Von aussen und auch innen ist es recht unscheinbar aber die pizza ist wirklich der Wahnsinn!! Absoluter Geheimtipp!!
