NUR BARZAHLUNG!!! Die glutenfreie Pizza und die Getränke waren lecker, aber leider wussten wir nicht, dass nur Barzahlung möglich ist. Statt eines schnellen und unkomplizierten Pizza-Abendessens verbrachten wir also eine Stunde damit, einen Geldautomaten zu suchen… Draußen hängt ein kleines Schild mit der Aufschrift „Nur Barzahlung“, und das ist auch schon der einzige Hinweis. Denken Sie also daran, Bargeld dabei zu haben.

Ich hatte die Pizza Queen, die war super. Der Service war freundlich und schnell. Einziger Nachteil: Man braucht Bargeld. Das habe ich erst beim Bezahlen bemerkt, als wir draußen saßen.

An alle Italiener: Die Pizza ist der Wahnsinn!!! Der Teig ist unglaublich leicht und die Beläge sind erstklassig – eine wirklich köstliche Kombination. Massimo ist außerdem unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Kurz gesagt: Ein paar Stunden dort waren wie zu Hause, verwöhnt und umgeben von Lachen. :)

Auf der Internetseite gibt es keine e-mail-Adresse. Und kein einziges Foto vom Lokal. Ich habe jetzt fünfmal versucht, telefonisch jemanden zu erreichen, leider ohne Erfolg. Der Inhaber der Nummer wird zwar über den Anruf benachrichtigt, ruft aber leider nicht zurück. WhatsApp nutze ich nicht. Und wenn ich hier lese, dass man Bewertungen löschen lässt, um den unglaubwürdig hohen Durchschnitt von 4,9 Sternen zu halten, habe ich sowieso keine Lust mehr hinzugehen

Dann gibt es noch die Boscaiola, reichhaltig und aromatisch, perfekt für alle, die kräftige, aber dennoch harmonische Aromen lieben. Jeder Bissen bestätigt ihr Können und ihre Erfahrung. Eine der besten Pizzerien Münchens! Die Pizza war köstlich, ebenso wie die Desserts. Wir hatten Tiramisu und Panna Cotta – beides wirklich hervorragend. Es gibt auch Birra Moretti, um sich ein bisschen wie in Italien zu fühlen. Das Lokal ist klein, aber gemütlich; eine Reservierung ist empfehlenswert.

Nach dem positiven Bericht in der Süddeutschen Zeitung haben wir das nette Lokal in der Heßstraße aufgesucht. Die Pizza Napoletana schmeckt exzellent. Die Auswahl auf der Karte ist groß und die Qualität der Zutaten schmeckt hochwertig. Einen Punkt Abzug gibt es für den Service, der leider etwas langsam war – sowohl beim Bestellen als auch beim Bezahlen. Einen weiteren Punkt Abzug gibt es für die fehlende Kartenzahlung. Bei den gehobenen Preisen ist das unverständlich. In München kann man in den meisten Lokalen mittlerweile mit Karte bezahlen. Edit: Zwei Sterne Abzug gibt es dafür, dass das Calvello's aktiv versucht, Bewertungen löschen zu lassen, die nicht in ihrem Sinn sind. Eine 3-Sterne-Bewertung als Diffamierung darzustellen, ist lächerlich. Zur Antwort des Lokals: Ich war Begleitperson im Restaurant und habe nicht selbst den Tisch gebucht. Falls der Hinweis Zum Cash only in der Bestätigungsnachricht steht, ändert das nichts daran, dass ich das schlecht finde. Hinweis ist nun aber rausgenommen. Service/Küche war langsam nach meinem Empfinden, insbesondere verging für mich zu viel Zeit bis wir die Bestellung aufgeben konnten, als wir bereit waren.

A nice little restaurant with very good pizza. The dough is truly excellent. The service was friendly and helpful. A little tip: If you order a bottle of San Pellegrino, ask for a sealed one. Ours was already open, and the sparkling water tasted flat.

Excellent Napolitan pizza, just the way it should be. Dough fluffy but not overly, very good quality buffala mozzarella in the buffalina pizza that I ordered. Highly recommended. Two important things: you must have a reservation (done over WhatsApp), the chance to seat is a walk-in is very low, and they only take cash.

A small, somewhat cramped, but very pleasant restaurant not far from the TU. The pizzas we tried (€15-17) were fluffy and light, almost digestible, despite their high crusts. It's no wonder that even Italians from Campania come here to indulge themselves. The Neapolitan owner runs his restaurant from behind the counter, from which beers and other drinks can be passed to neighboring tables. He is always approachable and responds promptly. For dessert, there was an excellent baba, which you can easily share, accompanied by barrel-aged grappa. You don't need anything more to be completely satisfied.

After we had settled on German cuisine, it was time for the easy solution when you decide to eat at the last minute: pizza. We entered this small place without a reservation and with little hope. We asked if we could even sit at the bar, but the German waitress turned us down, honoring the German lack of flexibility, because all the tables had been reserved by that time. However, when the Neapolitan owner heard us speaking Italian, he made us sit down, since one of the tables had not yet appeared. And, of course, the owner and pizzaiolo also made us sit down with his creations. I had a Fuego with ventricina salami, chili and Calabrian n'duja. Traditional spicy pizza never fails, as long as it has the right dough; here too, the master has honored the tradition of the pizza capital. I highly recommend!

Best Neapolitan pizza, family atmosphere, very friendly service!

My companion and I cannot understand the enthusiastic reviews of this pizza place; we ate there two weeks ago (encouraged by a newspaper that celebrated their „authentic Naples pizza“). Apart from the somewhat bubbly pizza crust (seen in pizzas in Naples) my pizza tasted quite bland, especially the mozzarella (I doubt it was buffalo). To enhance the flavour we asked for garlic oil - which looked and smelled rancid, so we didn’t use it. One of the restaurant’s proprietors served us: he couldn‘t care less and made us feel uncomfortable. (The female member of staff however was attentive and very friendly). Last point: they take cash only, and we had to ask for a receipt explicitly … If you want excellent pizza and good service with fresh spicy oil, for the same price, you will be happier in Neuhauser in Schwabing.

The pizza is good, but nothing special. The dining room is very small, but feels cozy. We preferred eating outside in the garden. If you want a really good pizza to go, you can also go to Napoli Rush on Theresienstraße, which is the parallel street. I find it much better.

Truly, by far the best pizza I've ever had in Germany, and even in Italy. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a delicious aroma and very friendly people. A relaxed place to feel good and enjoy! And then comes a fragrant pizza margarita, with an incredible crust, a fruity-sweet tomato sauce, and the perfect amount of the best cheese. Thank you for your perfect pizza craftsmanship and your love of cooking, which conjures up such deliciousness from just a few good ingredients!

The pizza was good, but in my opinion, there are better ones. For starters, we had burrata and bruschetta. The bruschetta lacked garlic and was generally a bit spicy. The olive oil was excellent. Unfortunately, both starters were made with German tomatoes (they tasted like supermarket tomatoes). The tomatoes were a bit bland, unfortunately. I don't know if there are any better tomatoes in Munich. The restaurant is quite small but has a cool decor, but if you're unlucky and there are loud groups there at the same time, it can get noisy.

I had a wonderful evening with my friends at Calvello's today. The pizzas are sensational. I've eaten many good Neapolitan pizzas in various cities across Germany, but this one was truly superior to anything I've had before. Whether it's the quality of the ingredients or the dough preparation, I don't know. In any case, the pizzas are great, the service is relaxed and authentic. The food was served quickly, and the atmosphere was very relaxed and convivial. I can only recommend everyone to try this place. Unfortunately, I'm not in Munich very often, but I'll be back at the next opportunity.

I recently ordered a “Calvello’s” pizza, which came topped with burrata, truffle, rucola, cherry tomatoes, and of course tomato sauce and mozzarella. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The dough was of excellent quality and you could really taste that it was a premium pizza. I highly recommend it to everyone—coming from an Italian, I think it’s the best pizza in Munich!

What can I say? Simply fantastic! Excellent service, excellent food (from the pizza—superlative—to the dessert), everything was excellent. If I really had to nitpick, I'd say the space is really small and the prices aren't exactly cheap. Reservations are highly recommended. No waiting. They deliver within a 3km radius or simply order takeout. Ordered pizzas: Jerry, Lucana, Fuego, and Boscaiola. Excellent tiramisu.

I discovered the restaurant through an Instagram post and tried it out with my girlfriend. The ambiance is sweet and stylish, a bit "fancy" – but that's not uncommon in Munich. You just adapt to the clientele and the surroundings. My girlfriend particularly found the lovingly designed decor very sweet and harmonious. The service was fine – friendly but unobtrusive. For an aperitif, I had an Aperol Spritz, which was unfortunately a bit bland – rather watery in taste and lacking in tang. The food, however, fully met our expectations: We had Caprese for starters, and Pizza Cavellos for the main course – both very tasty and beautifully presented. The only minor disappointment was the red wine: unfortunately, it was a wine I know from the supermarket – available there for significantly less money. This somewhat dampened the experience, as one would have expected something more unique for that price. Overall, though, it was a lovely evening with very good food in a lovely setting. If I could, I would give it 4.5 stars – so I’ll round it up to 5 with a small deduction in my mind.

The pizzeria offers delicious food at fair prices. The pizza and pasta are good, without being exceptional. But what really impresses is the service: super friendly and attentive. You immediately feel welcome, and the atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed.
