Waren schon ein paar mal hier. Griechische Küche (nicht übertrieben) modern interpretiert, wir waren mit allem zufrieden, ich steh´ besonders auf die herrlichen Bifteki. Service prima, Preise für den Standort OK, man kann sich herrlich verschiedene Speisen zusammenstellen, die Grenzen Vorspeise/main sind fliessend. Das ist ja eigentlich urgriechisch ;-) Sitzplätze drinnen und draussen, Reservierung zu Stosszeiten empfohlen.

Das Essen und alle Getränke waren richtig lecker! Wir waren sehr fasziniert und beeindruckt von der Kreativität des Kochs. Wir haben fast ausschließlich neu interpretierte griechische Gerichte bestellt, die alle wirklich spannend waren und allesamt richtig gut geschmeckt habe. Und es war alles so unglaublich schön angerichtet! Da gehen wir gerne wieder hin!

Wir haben das Restaurant zum ersten Mal besucht und waren rundum zufrieden. Freundliche Begrüßung und charmante Bedienung. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut – wir können es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen! Einziger Minuspunkt: Wenn draußen geraucht wird und die Tür offen steht, zieht der Rauch in den Essbereich, was für Nichtraucher im Eingangsbereich unangenehm ist.

Richtig leckeres Essen zu einem guten Preis

Einer der besten Griechen in München und Umgebung. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Kalamari mit Sesam waren unglaublich zart und das Beef Bifteki zu 100% aus Rind - sehr zu empfehlen!

Die Gastfreundschaft, Herzlichkeit und Freundlichkeit machen diesen Ort zu einem wahren Genuss. Köstliche griechische Küche, darunter Klassiker und moderne Interpretationen. Das Personal ist überaus aufmerksam.

Wir sind heute Abend eher spontan im Restaurant vorbeigekommen und hatten Glück, noch einen Tisch zu bekommen. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Die Karte ist angenehm übersichtlich – dafür merkt man bei den Gerichten umso mehr, dass alles frisch zubereitet wird. Alles, was wir bestellt haben, war wirklich sehr lecker. Wenn wir wieder im Glockenbachviertel unterwegs sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall gerne wieder vorbei. Uns hat der Abend dort sehr gut gefallen – und geschmeckt hat es sowieso hervorragend. 😊

Das Essen ist von guter Qualität, der Service könnte jedoch verbessert werden, angefangen bei den Speisekarten, die zumindest auf Englisch sein sollten.

Wir waren mit Freunden dort und haben vieles von der Karte probiert – von den Vorspeisen bis zum Nachtisch. Alles war sehr, sehr lecker. Der Service war super. Das Ambiente ist eher ruhig und nicht so wie in vielen anderen griechischen Restaurants, wo es laut und stickig ist. Ich kann es nur empfehlen!

Immer eine hervorragende Wahl für etwas Besonderes aus der griechischen Küche – ideal für Gruppen bis zu 24 Personen – perfekter Service – Reservierung empfohlen, da es immer gut besucht ist.

Ein wirklich sehr guter Grieche. Einfach mal was anderes. Das Essen und der Service ist top. Der Oktopus und die Garnelen sind nur zu empfehlen. Auf jeden Fall hingehen! Das Bread Pit ist super frisch und warm! Für eine Date Night immer zu empfehlen! :)

The meat in the bifteki was good, but the tzatziki promised on the menu was practically nonexistent, consisting of two thin strips on the plate?!? That needs to be worked on. The service could also be a bit friendlier...

Exceeded expectations! The food was superb! The service was very professional and friendly. The atmosphere was lovely. My friend recommended the place after trying it 1 week earlier. We called 1 hour before and reserved a table. The team at the restaurant welcomed us and made sure we were accommodated despite the sudden thunderstorm on a hot summer day. Compliments to the chef and the team for the high quality authentic food and service. Will definitely visit again.

Good food, but relatively little of it and quite expensive. If you want something quieter and more chic, this place is a good choice.

Wonderful! There's really nothing more to say. A rather "unremarkable" restaurant. Service was very attentive, pleasantly unfussy. The food was terrific, not your run-of-the-mill Greek restaurant with a standard menu. Quite the opposite, a rather small menu, but the quality of the food and the presentation were outstanding, and the wine recommendation was absolutely perfect. By the way, it was impressive how the crew dealt with a—let's put it politely—"difficult" guest. My wife and I were already seething inside, and I would have definitely kicked the man out. Among other things, he sent back his meal (wild-caught shrimp) without even tasting it. His reason: He couldn't eat it. And so it went on... The guys at aplafunky, however, remained highly professional and calm. Chapeau! In any case, we hope you won't have any more guests like that in the future, but only those who appreciate the outstanding food and the warm atmosphere.

The dishes are not only delicious but also lovingly prepared – the calamari in sesame is a particular highlight. The service is warm and attentive, and the ambiance is stylish and inviting. You'll feel welcome and at home here. If you want Greek food but are looking for more than just the classics, this is the place for you.

The food is really good and incredibly tasty, so it's worth going there for that alone. The seating, however, takes some getting used to; there are no cushions, and the edge at the front of the chair makes sitting for long periods of time a real pain. Maybe they should consider getting some cushions. The space is also very sober, and the music... well, not what you want to hear at a Greek restaurant.

Octopus and the saganaki shrimp tasted great. The mezze such as tzatziki, aubergine and fava were rather poor. Unfortunately the taramosalata wasn't good at all. Unfortunately, the homemade bread came from the freezer and was still frozen.

Super authentic Greek cuisine with delicious and beautifully presented dishes. The innkeeper is very friendly and an excellent host who takes the time for his guests. We had a great evening even at a late hour.

Apla Funky is an absolute highlight in Munich! The atmosphere is relaxed and designed with so much attention to detail. The cheese with the homemade tomato jam was simply brilliant - with a glass of wine and the evening was perfect. I have to particularly highlight the super friendly waitress, who made the evening even better with her relaxed and friendly manner. Your colleague was also super funny – the saying “Bread Pit” for bread really made us laugh! A place with great food, humor and heart – absolute recommendation!

Extremely rude waitress. Asked us if we speak Greek, German, English, or Russian. We said we speak English and then she proceeded to try to make us order in German right away even though we were obviously struggling. We had barely sat at the table and she kept impolitely asking us "what do you want, what do you want?". She didn't even give us a couple of minutes and made us extremely uncomfortable.

Very cold unfriendly atmosphere...

We were at apla funky on Wednesday. It was a pleasure for all the senses and the soul. Jorgos and his super nice team were the perfect hosts. The food melted in the mouth and was a feast for the eyes. The drinks were very high quality. We simply felt comfortable in the lovingly designed ambience. We lost track of time and are already looking forward to the next time. Highly, highly recommended!

The food was rich. Decent portions. We've all had enough. However, we wouldn't go there again as the ambience and service were very unpleasant. When I came in I wasn't even greeted, not even when I said "good evening" myself. Then, despite having a reservation, we got the worst seat right at the entrance. It pulled extremely hard as soon as the door opened. The smokers came and went. The waitress snatched unfinished glasses from the table. Price-performance ratio is not balanced.

Food was good, but after a few hours we were hungry again & we paid a lot of money. I'm a fan of quality & am willing to pay more, then it would simply be good if you served larger side dishes or included bread for free.

We (two adults and 1 toddler) shared 2 starters and 1 main dish: saganaki, grilled octopus and lamb meatballs. The portions are big, all the dishes were very delicious and properly cooked.

"Greek with a difference" - a really great restaurant with Greek employees. Very tasty dishes, very attractively presented on the plate and just something different. A really great, attentive and very friendly team round off the perfect impression. Highlight!

Anyone looking for mountains of meat and fries like the usual "German Greek" will be disappointed. If you are looking for modern, creative Greek cuisine at a reasonable price, the restaurant is highly recommended. We were thrilled and felt completely at home! 🇬🇷🐙🦈🍷

On our way to another restaurant, we stumbled upon this place and decided to give it a try instead. Everything was absolutely perfect! The food was incredible – we had the calamari, olives and Pagoto Angelon, both were just delicious. The service was fast and friendly, making the experience even better. If we visit Munich again, we will definitely be coming back!

Modern Greek restaurant, rather expensive, quality of food good to very good. The guest room is often a bit cool due to the temperature. In summer you can sit outside in front of the restaurant. Service is professional, but not overly friendly like other Greek restaurants.

I prefer to order different starters instead of a main course.

We had an absolutely lovely dinner! I highly recommend the sesame crusted calamari. It was a huge hit among us. The hospitality of the owner also is something to be cherished. They also had a series of greek wine which amused us a lot. I really love this place and am willing to come back!

Great Greek restaurant. Very good dishes, whether classic or modern or newly interpreted. The quality, taste and appearance of all dishes were excellent. There were 6 of us and we tried lots of different things (tuna, calamari, lamb, souvlaki, various starters and desserts) and were thoroughly impressed. The service was also consistently friendly and quick despite the full restaurant and the stress of being outside and inside and the storm coming up. The atmosphere is modern, casual and casual. In winter, when you can only go inside, things could quickly get tight. Would definitely recommend making a reservation. All in all we were very satisfied and are already looking forward to the next time.

I don't actually know of any restaurant where the quality and service is as good as here. And the icing on the cake is the warmth shown.

Stopped in after left a popular local bar that we felt unwelcome. Owner was vet friendly and welcoming! At first we were sad to not see standards like halloumi cheese and gyros but we ordered a main and three appetizers to share. We really liked them all! My spouse eats octopus at every chance. The octopus app here was one of the most tender and succulent he’s had. We enjoyed our meal and the service!

Excellent food and friendly staff. You may need to make a reservation though, so keep that in mind if you’re making plans for dinner. However, if you do, I’m sure you’ll be very happy with your decision, and I would highly recommend the octopus and calamari. They prepared some of the best grilled calamari and octopus that I’ve ever had, and I have some experience in this area ;)

I have eaten at ‘apla funky’ several times and each time it has been an excellent dining experience! The combination of delicious food, friendly service and Greek flair makes this restaurant a real gem. I can highly recommend it!

Not a run-of-the-mill Greek!! Small and fine menu with sensationally good food!!! I can't highlight any food in particular because everything was good! The recommended Greek (!) white wine was also excellent! The service excellent! I went there for the first time with a friend who had been there many times and we were greeted as friends! Very friendly atmosphere even on later visits. The atmosphere is very nice. In terms of price, it's a bit more expensive, but the price/performance ratio is definitely good!

An exceptional Greek restaurant, the focus of the menu is on starters. Like with Spanish tapas, you can have different delicacies brought and enjoy them in a variety of ways. We enjoyed the grilled artichokes with salad and goat cheese best. Small negative point: The chairs are very uncomfortable and it is very loud in the small guest room.

A really wonderful restaurant in the middle of Munich. There is Greek cuisine - reinterpreted, such as sesame-crusted squid with steamed seasonal vegetables. Vegetarian dishes such as grilled eggplant with walnuts and feta are also on the menu. The dishes are beautifully prepared and seasoned to perfection. The service is very courteous and friendly. The two gentlemen give you an all-round good feeling and you feel at home. I especially recommend trying the Greek lemonades: mandarin bergamot, for example. Wow! All in all: It's worth coming here and then coming back again and again.

Nothing special. Not even to get the feeling that you are eating in greek restaurant. Expencieve, but it's because it's in the downtown. Not even a greek music was playing.. The waiter made an upsale without askimg us for the extra meal.. Food is for fancy people..

Probably the best Greek in Munich, great dishes. Only our reservation wasn't noted but we still got a place. Keep it up !!!
