We heard the restaurant serves organic water at a "reasonable" price. If the water were vegan, we'd definitely go there. Does anyone have any feedback on this?
Really great pizza! Casa Carlo offers a fantastic selection, both with and without tomatoes (Pizza Bianca, which is relatively rare in Germany), with sausage or ham, and vegetarian options. They even have a potato pizza – definitely worth trying. The crust is amazing: crispy, flavorful, and perfectly browned. Oil and spices are available for those who like it a bit spicier. You can eat in or take away. The staff is very friendly, and the atmosphere in the market hall is lovely. We'll be back soon.
We've ordered from there several times, and the food has always arrived piping hot. It tastes delicious 😋.
We'll definitely visit the restaurant in person sometime to experience the atmosphere and service.

After my regular pizza delivery service went out of business some time ago, I spent months trying almost every pizza delivery service in Velbert and came to the conclusion that these are the best pizzas in Velbert!

Thank you for the wonderful evening in your kitchen.
We were in the house for a long weekend to celebrate a birthday and experienced the best possible birthday dinner with Ulrich Heimann's Chef's Table. As part of this, we not only had the opportunity to enjoy a Pur six-course menu, but also to experience it in his kitchen. At a beautiful table in the kitchen, bathed in blue light and lit by candlelight, we were able to observe the team at work, ask questions, discuss the ingredients they had identified, and experience the creation of each course up close. The ambiance was completely different from the restaurant: It was lively, a bit louder, and more colorful – which I really enjoyed.
We enjoyed sitting together with other, dear people we didn't know, and that great conversations developed throughout the evening, whether about the beautiful evening, the even better food, work, hobbies, the love of the house, or even the comfortable dog beds for the four-legged friends we brought along.
The discussions about which course was the best were surprisingly short, as we quickly reached consensus that each course was a culinary highlight in its own right and therefore incomparable. If I had to choose, it would almost certainly be the scallop. The pictures speak for themselves, but they can't quite describe the taste and quality of the food. Rounded out by the accompanying drinks, each course was a truly wonderful chapter in this culinary journey by and with Ulrich Heimann, who, with his approachable and personable manner and a team that is no less than his in this regard, is not only a great artist but also a great host.
We would love to come back.
