Ramo46 was very hospitable and made me feel like I was in Türkiye during my trip. He even offered me Turkish-style tea. I definitely recommend him.

MEM-ET in Cologne is without a doubt the best doner kebab in the city. The meat is wonderfully tender and well-seasoned, and what truly makes this place special is the flavor of the vegetable doner – the vegetables are fresh, perfectly seasoned, and create an ideal balance with the meat. The portions are generous, and everything is freshly prepared, from the bread to the vegetables and sauces. The friendly and attentive service is also particularly noteworthy. The restaurant has a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, ideal for a quick meal or a delicious lunch with friends. The value for money is excellent: you really get a lot for your money. 10/10 and truly the best doner kebab in Cologne.

I've had better. The meat was just okay, especially the chicken. Too much cabbage, and next time I'd prefer thinner slices of meat instead of such huge chunks with gristle. Otherwise, it was okay.

This was my first visit today, and I'm very satisfied. I ordered both the chicken and the veal doner kebabs. Both are delicious, though the veal one is my favorite. The salad is fresh, and the bread, baked on-site, is wonderfully crispy yet soft. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back.

I ordered from there yesterday and I have to say: the service, the staff, and the place itself are very good and tidy. But here's the big "but": the food is unfortunately very bad for the price. After eating, I had to go to the bathroom all day. I seriously wonder what's in the meat. At these prices, you should be able to expect a certain level of quality. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here.

One of the best Döner I've had in Köln! The fries were piping hot and delicious. The salt ratio was excellent. Would come back next time I'm in town. Absolutely go out of my way to come here.

Unfortunately, it only tastes good when the owner prepares it himself. The other employees can't get it right. The bread was dry, the falafel was dry, and the service was completely incompetent. It's a shame the quality has declined so much. That was my last time at Memet.

I had a dürüm. It tasted really good, but the portion size was very small. It could have had significantly more meat and been filled better, especially for the price. Unfortunately, it was also really cold in the shop. :(

Very nice döner — I had a sandwich recommended by the chef. It was generously filled and very tasty, although the balance between the meat, veggies and sauce could be a bit better. The flavours got a little chaotic, so the meat was harder to taste. My only tip would be to add a bit more meat. Special thanks to Oruc, Eylem and Rambo for bringing such great energy to the place.

This was my first time visiting this place. Within just a few bites, it catapulted itself into my top 5 favorite doner kebabs in Cologne. The bread was very tasty and had a nice bite. The meat was well-seasoned. The components were perfectly balanced. Neither the salad, nor the meat, nor the sauce overpowered each other. I really liked that. All in all, a great taste experience. The sauces remind me of the infamous Berlin sauces. The garlic sauce has a slightly sweet and intense flavor. It harmonized very well. The meat is similar to the competition on Kyffhäuserstraße (both incredibly good). Except for the bread, the whole combination reminds me a bit of the doner kebabs from my childhood. This definitely won't be my last visit. For a Wednesday evening around 7:00 pm, the place was quite busy. Very friendly service. Card payment is accepted. The price-performance ratio is excellent. Keep it up!

Vegan falafel wrap The falafel is slightly above average, the bread unfortunately doesn't taste fresh, but the taste is okay.

We chose MEM-ET based on the reviews and drove quite a bit extra to get there. And it was definitely worth it. We ordered lahmacun and döner. Everything was incredibly fresh and the staff was very friendly. If we're ever in the area again, we'd definitely eat there. A fast-food restaurant with a premium feel.

I went to Mem-et and had a regular veal doner. The meat was tender, well-seasoned, and very tasty. The doner was a decent size. The bread was okay, but I personally could have used a bit more sauce, as it made the doner seem a bit dry in places. Still, overall, a good doner. I've included a picture.

Unfortunately, the meat wasn't at all convincing; it was rubbery and difficult to chew. In summary, I can't understand the 4.9-star rating.

A good kebab. The bread is especially delicious: crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. It's preheated in a stone oven, so it tastes like it's home-baked. You can choose between veal and chicken - the meat is cooked thoroughly and still juicy. The kebab could have been a bit more filling. The sauce is good - but could be improved. It needs a bit more seasoning. Overall, though, a highly recommended kebab. The ambiance is uninviting and somewhat run-down - the service, on the other hand, is very friendly, courteous, and quick. The price is reasonable for the location in Cologne: I paid €11 for a kebab with a drink. I'd be happy to go back.

This is probably our best kebab experience. We're French, passing through Cologne, and after a lovely day of walking, we decided to stop here early in the evening. The receptionist was super welcoming, and we were served very quickly. The doner portions are generous, and each dish is delicious. The balance between meat and vegetables is perfectly balanced. The filling is even, with no overlooked areas. The bread is fresh, light, and airy. Its size is also very well-suited.

One of the best doner kebabs in town, the lahmacun is even better. The bread is freshly baked, whether it's a doner, durum, or lahmacun. The meat is always freshly cut from a skewer, and the ingredients are fresh. The service is almost always excellent, but on weekend evenings, you can tell the job is stressful; then they only serve doner kebabs, as it's quicker.

Super good, no hassle ordering, they speak French. Generous local coke, very good too.

Lamacun was incredibly greasy, it was just dripping with fat.

Standard kebab. Unfortunately, the tactic of lots of salad and little meat is also used here. You wouldn't order a salad kebab, after all. And friendliness doesn't look like that.

We went there as two persons based on the comments and said we were hungry and he suggested the mem-et plate. Mr. Ramo 46 took such good care of us that my wife and I were very pleased with all the work he did. I watched him for a while. He was so friendly and cheerful not only towards us but towards all the customers. He knows how to make his customers happy. I watched him for almost 30 minutes. All the customers who left were smiling. We thank Mr. Ramo again for taking care of us. If we go to Cologne, we will definitely stop by.🫶👍🙏

Very disappointing service I placed my order and waited for over 10 minutes. In the meantime, two other customers arrived and were served immediately. When I asked why they were given priority, I was simply told "forgotten." The employee then wanted to start over, but when I pointed out that the service wasn't okay, I was treated very rudely and told, "Don't come back." This kind of behavior is absolutely disrespectful to paying customers. The kebab itself was also disappointing in terms of taste – dry and poorly prepared. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place.

My girlfriend and I ate there today and still had a long way to go home. After 10 minutes, I had terrible diarrhea, all of it liquid. After 40 minutes, I puked it all up on the highway and felt dizzy. After 1.5 hours, my girlfriend felt sick and puked it all up. The lahmacun wasn't the best either. It doesn't even deserve a one-star rating. Pay attention to the cleanliness and freshness of the food.

I'm from Bavaria and have had some really good kebabs, but this one was an absolute 10 out of 10. The bread was warm and crispy until the end. The vegetables were fresh and juicy. I had a mixed meat, which was also juicy and tasty. The only thing I could have criticized, although I could have said I didn't want to mention it, was the cocktail sauce. I personally didn't like it, but that's because I don't like cocktail sauces in general. Conclusion: Delicious kebab for a fair price, service was friendly and quick. I'd go back anytime. Highly recommended.
