Alles rundum super, die beiden Gerichte im Bild waren auch lecker! Vegetarisch herzhaft und von den Portionen fair!

Das Essen war unterdurchschnittlich. Wir hatten Momos, Pilzflügel und Edamame bestellt. Die Momos waren fad, die Pilzflügel auch nicht besonders schmackhaft. Der Service war allerdings sehr gut. :)

Ich fand das Essen wiederholt hervorragend Und ja der Service darf noch ein paar Dinge optimieren, aber dafür würde ich in Summe keine Punkte abziehen Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt Danke ☀️

Möglicherweise die besten Pilzflügel, die ich je gegessen habe. Und der Schokoladenkuchen mit Streuseln war himmlisch. Absolut köstlich, und der Kellner war auch sehr nett!

Ich bin sehr enttäuscht vom neuen Rezept für Schweinenudeln. Früher war das mein Lieblingsrestaurant, weil das Essen immer köstlich war. Aber… die neue Version ist eine große Enttäuschung.

Ein hervorragendes Lokal! Die Nudeln sind hausgemacht, ein wahrer Genuss. Schneller und freundlicher Service. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder, um den Rest der Speisekarte zu probieren.

Klein aber fein. Das Essen ist qualitativ sehr hochwertige.

Es war köstlich! Würzig und geschmackvoll! Die Bedienung war besonders nett. Es gibt einen zusätzlichen Raum und eine Terrasse im Hinterhof, und mir hat die Raumaufteilung sehr gut gefallen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Eins meiner liebsten Restaurants in Sülz. Die Mitarbeitenden sind sehr nett und bemüht (z.B. wird eine Portion Nudelsuppe auf zwei Teller aufgeteilt, wenn man sich durchprobieren möchte). Die Qualität ist immer gleich gut. Jedes Gericht schmeckt hervorragend, weil man sich auf eine kleine, perfektionierte Karte konzentriert. Wenn es jedoch z. B. ein monatlich wechselndes zusätzliches Hauptgericht gäbe (gerne mit Ankündigung), würde ich bestimmt noch öfter kommen! Achja, und die Starwars Deko überall ist 1A!

Solides Essen. Leider war unser Service recht vergesslich, unsere Getränke kamen erst mit dem Essen. Sonst lecker :)

Ich war heute spontan zum Abendessen dort und muss leider sagen, dass ich die vielen positiven Google-Bewertungen absolut nicht nachvollziehen kann. Aufgrund der guten Durchschnittsbewertung hatte ich ehrlich gesagt deutlich höhere Erwartungen. Wir haben die Beef-Nudeln bestellt. Das Essen kam leider nur lauwarm am Tisch an, was bereits einen schlechten ersten Eindruck hinterlassen hat. Geschmacklich war das Gericht sehr enttäuschend. Die Nudeln waren extrem trocken und haben die Soße kaum aufgenommen. Stattdessen lagen sie eher lose in einem dünnflüssigen Sud. Die Soße selbst war deutlich zu salzig, fast schon unangenehm überwürzt. Zusätzlich wirkte sie gleichzeitig sehr fettig und wässrig, was geschmacklich überhaupt nicht harmoniert hat. Auch das Rindfleisch konnte leider nicht überzeugen. Es schmeckte nicht frisch und insgesamt wenig hochwertig. Die Portion war zudem für den Preis wirklich zu klein, sodass das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis für mich nicht stimmt. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war insgesamt nur mittelmäßig. Besonders störend war die Raumtemperatur – es war sehr kalt im Laden, sodass wir nicht länger als eine Stunde bleiben konnten. Auch der Service wirkte eher distanziert und nicht besonders freundlich oder aufmerksam. Insgesamt leider eine enttäuschende Erfahrung. Ich werde ein Foto hochladen, um meine Bewertung zu untermauern.

Leckeres, frisches & besonderes Essen. Im Laden selbst ist es auch unique. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Kommunikation übers Telefon ein bisschen hakelig wegen Verbindungs-/Soundproblemen. Glaube es gibt zumindest mittlerweile ein zeitgemäßes Telefon.

Ich kann die Rezensionen leider überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen. Der Laden sieht relativ heruntergekommen aus. Wir saßen in einem Hinterbereich mit nur einem kleinen Wandstrahler mit extrem gelben Licht, also relativ dunkel. Neben uns ein widerliches Waschbecken, die Stühle unbequem. Dazu war es auch recht kalt, dabei friere ich nicht so schnell. Dass der Service im Trainingsanzug herumrennt, soll mich jetzt mal nicht stören, aber dann haben wir 50 Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet und dann wurde ein Momo zu wenig gemacht. Das haben wir dann später irgendwann bekommen, aber da hätte ich von gutem Service erwartet, dass man dann auch wenigstens zwei springen lässt, wenn man ohnehin sieht, dass ein Paar das bestellt hat und die ursprüngliche Anzahl (5 oder 7 kann man bestellen) eh nicht durch zwei teilbar ist. Irgendwann kamen dann auch die Hauptspeise. Wir hatten einmal die Beef und einmal die Tofu Nudeln. Beides hat jetzt nicht schlecht geschmeckt aber es war weit, wirklich weit weg von lecker. Die Brühe ist relativ simpel und schmeckt größtenteils nur nach Salz und Pfeffer. Oben drauf dann kaltes Gemüse, was von der Brühe dann lauwarm geheizt wurde. Wie gesagt, ich würde es nicht zurückgehen lassen oder so aber ich wüsste keinen einzigen Grund, wieso ich dieses Restaurant noch einmal besuchen sollte.

Die besten Momos, die ich je gegessen habe! Absolute Empfehlung!!! Lockere Atmosphäre, schönes Ambiente und wirklich herausragendes Essen. Alles schmeckt fantastisch!

Hidden Gem Alert! Heute hatte ich das unfassbare Vergnügen in der köstlichsten Asian Fusionskitchen Köln speisen zu dürfen. Bereits bei Betreten des Restaurants ist sofort zu spüren, mit wie viel Leidenschaft der Besitzer sein Restaurant leitet. Jedes Gericht ist besonders und wird mit Liebe zum Detail zubereitet. Die Zutaten sind von hoher Qualität und wohlüberlegt ausgesucht sowie kombiniert. Abwechslungsreiche, leckere Getränke runden das Erlebnis ab. Das Personal sorgt für ein „Zuhausegefühl“! Ich würde am liebsten jeden Tag hier speisen! Herzlichsten Dank für einen unvergesslichen Abend ❤️

Ein Traum in jeglicher Hinsicht

We were here on a Saturday evening. Very cosy place, super friendly and welcoming staff. Food was alright. Portions are good. Pretty chill atmosphere. Luckily no wait for the table, but they took some time to serve the food, which is fine if you have good company. The momos were especially good. Naturally the food is "Germanised" to suit the local palate, which is alright. Only issue I had and did not like is, I asked for "normale wasser" and got a very regular glass of water. Tap water, I thought. Yet, on the bill it was charged at 2.20 €. Otherwise it was a good experience.

I find the atmosphere at Down To Earth absolutely wonderful. There are few restaurants in Cologne with so much charm: very cozy. Everyone who works there was very friendly. The food was deliciously seasoned and beautifully presented. Please stay just the way you are :) and don't let the reviews discourage you.

Perfect momos, excellent homemade lemonade, friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere. Only the benches could be more comfortable.

I finally got to try this place (twice this month) and seriously, it is one of the best restaurants in Köln. First of all, what a kicka$$ menu. Its minimal but hits all the spots. The dumplings are gorgeous, juicy and made with organic meat, the noodle soups are heavenly spiced, and the drinks are mostly hand made with cool flavour combinations. I mean really, this place is not to confuse with your normalo asia curry/sushi shop dishing out the basic spice mix with whatever protein added in. I asked the waitor and was told that the soup broths, both the meat and vegan varieties, simmer for hours on the stove to create the deep blend of flavours you can't acheive by just chopping and dropping into a wok. No MSG. You can taste the difference. Homemade chili crunch? YES PLEASE. Also to mention are the vibes. The warm lighting, wood/antique furniture, plants everywhere and a beautiful outdoor area in the back made set a cozy tone. I noticed many guests just hanging for a while to chat and enjoy the atmosphere. The waiters/waitresses seemed a bit stressed, but it was saturday night and everyone was still totally friendly/helpful (like they actually wanted to be there on a Saturday night). The cook walked by to smoke outside and took a moment to ask us how everything tasted. What a sweetheart. I almost forgot the best part: the techno was absolutely bangin'. Although we waited like 30 minutes for our food, it was well worth it. One of a kind spot. Thank you thank you. Will come again.

Unfortunately, the food wasn't that good for the price. We had the vegan noodles and the pork noodles. The sauces were very thin overall and imparted very little flavor to the noodles. Additionally, the tofu, like the pork belly, was a large block on the plate. This made the dishes taste a bit unbalanced. The service, however, was very good and friendly.

Our table was 3 person table one of the three at that time. We ordered but another table who sat after got our order we said to the waiter that was ours because we need to go to the airport we were in a rush. The waiter said there is nothing wrong about theirs order!!! After waiting many minutes still we haven’t got our order. We said we have to go they say we can do to go but that would be hard so we decided to wait 2 more minutes as they say our order will come as it does. But our order came wrong!!! We ordered 7 momo but instead we got 5 and never got that other 2 as they say first time they will bring additional 2. Restaurant is so uncoordinated. 2 waiter tried to take our order even though we ordered already. Waiters do not know what their customers get and they do not follow what is going where. Every Single step of request including order went wrong. Food was not bad i would say but experience was. Atmosphere of the restaurant was good

We ordered noodles and momos. The noodles hadn’t absorbed the sauce at all, and the momos were dry. What’s worse, they served our food to customers who arrived after us. When we pointed it out, they denied making any mistake — but after we mentioned we had a flight to catch, they finally admitted that they had mixed up the orders. Even then, the replacement dish came with two momos missing, yet they still charged us the full price. Service took around 45 minutes, and the overall experience was terrible. The restaurant’s high ratings are absolutely incomprehensible to me. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place. (Frankly, it also seemed like they prioritized serving German customers first, which left a very bad impression.) --- We ordered noodles and momos. The noodles hadn't absorbed the sauce at all and the momos were dry. What was even worse was that our food was served to guests who arrived after us. When we pointed this out to them, they initially denied making a mistake – only when we mentioned that we had a flight soon did they admit they had mixed up the orders. Even after that, the new dish was missing two momos, but they still charged the full price. Service took about 45 minutes, and overall, the experience was disastrous. I really don't understand how this restaurant got such good reviews. I would definitely not recommend it. (To be honest, I also had the impression that German guests were given preferential treatment – ​​it was very unpleasant.)

The broth was delicious, and everything was nicely seasoned. If I had any feedback, it would be that there was too much coriander and spring onions. The momos were served very hot, and the batter was a bit too thick and hard on top.

Super nice little restaurant. We had vegan noodles, vegan momos, and salad. Everything was delicious, spicy/slightly hot, and handmade. We'll definitely be back!

They have the best momos here. I haven't had the spicy edamame in any other restaurant, and I highly recommend it. Kimchi on the side, followed by a vegetarian soup: the perfect dinner for us. The ambiance could be nicer, and our waitress was a bit unmotivated, but the food makes up for it.

I was generally satisfied overall. The vegan dumplings, noodles, and cucumber salad, as well as the homemade iced tea, completely won me over. It took a while for the food to arrive, but it was still within reason, and it felt freshly prepared. The staff were also very nice. The noodle soup also came with a lot of toppings, which isn't something you see very often. We didn't have a reservation (it was a Friday night and relatively busy) and sat in the back area, which is kind of outside, and had to share the large table with other people. It wasn't particularly comfortable, but if you make a reservation, you'll probably get a nicer spot. It wasn't too stuffy and still warm enough. I was just a little disappointed at the end. I wanted a second drink after the meal because I was really thirsty from the food. After waiting 20 minutes, I found out it would take even longer because it was so busy, and I decided to leave. I thought that was a bit of a shame, especially that I had to wait and wasn't told straight away that it would take a long time... But that can happen when things are really busy.

We ate at Down to Earth today, and it was absolutely delicious. The momos were cooked to perfection, the chili oil had a lovely crunch, and the noodles were divine. It certainly won't be our last time there; I highly recommend it to everyone.

We went to Down to Earth Noodles today and were sadly disappointed. Upon entering, we were left alone with the menu without being asked for drinks. It took about 10 minutes before we were able to actively order at the counter. The drinks arrived relatively quickly, but we had to wait over 40 minutes for our food – without anyone asking for our next order. The food itself was bland, the vegetables were carelessly cut, and the deep bowls made eating impractical. Even after serving, there was no question about whether everything was okay or whether we wanted another drink. Overall, the service was very poor, and the taste was not convincing. Three stars are only given for the quick iced coffees and the appealing concept behind the dish.

Very delicious organic food. Momos, pickles, salad, noodles—everything was to my taste, even though I don't eat Tibetan food often. The plates are beautifully decorated, and the service is excellent!

The food is highly recommended and very tasty! The menu is adequate. A bit overpriced. The ambiance isn't great. The basic decor is okay. The back area is very chaotic and not particularly appealing. Unfortunately, the restroom was a disaster... the previous customer's toilet was still in the toilet... The entire concept needs to be revised. The two young ladies who served us were very polite and good-looking.

Fantastic momos and noodles. This place focuses on two dishes, in three versions. And it does it brilliantly. Perfectly seasoned, spicy, and juicy. The chili oil also tastes excellent—not too hot but brilliantly seasoned. The pork belly with the noodles was wonderfully aromatic. Unfortunately, I don't get to Sülz often enough, but a visit here is 100% worth it!

Food 7.4/10. Very pleasant atmosphere, the food was good, fresh ingredients. However, the broth was a bit too salty. I'm not sure if that was why they gave so little broth. The dumplings were ok.

One of my favorite restaurants in Cologne! The ingredients are all organic (the quality is particularly noticeable when it comes to the meat!), the noodles are handmade and the broth is perfectly seasoned. It's also great that the menu is regularly expanded to include specials - it's worth being quick! If you like it spicy, you will love the homemade chili oil. Added to this is the great atmosphere, a cozy courtyard and the friendly staff. Tip: If the store is full, everything is also available to go.

Whole big cinema. Just 2 dishes in various combinations and I like that in a nutshell. Great seasoning meets good products. The only thing was that it was quite cold in the store, I'm not a chilblain. We'll be back soon :)

A few days ago my best friend, my 1-year-old daughter and I went here to try dumplings because we had never eaten them before. We almost walked past because the shop was quite small and inconspicuous. It was very difficult with a stroller, but doable, we got there around 4 p.m. - before the rush. Service was friendly and accommodating, as the shop (front) is very small, you can be seen/heard straight away. The menu is simple and small - which I think is good, if you're good at one thing, you should stick to that. I also like the design, the drinks are on the back. We chose spritzers - rhubarb and passion fruit, could have been better, but also completely ok. We ordered the momos veggie & beef. It took a while, but they are freshly made. You could possibly offer an amuse as a time buffer. When the momos arrived, we were pretty overwhelmed by their size - 5 would probably have been enough ;) - there was also a (unfortunately) tiny bowl of pickled vegetables (delicious!) and chili oil, which we unfortunately couldn't taste with the momos, Unfortunately, ours were a bit overcooked. We ate them anyway, but noted it. Maybe they could have offered us a bowl of vegetables - but they didn't want to be bold... Finally, we tried the sweet momos: apple-plum. The momos themselves were a dream - I had to give almost all of the filling to my daughter. The sauce wasn't really our thing. And the HAfercrunch unfortunately had no crunch. All in all, I would give the momos a second chance, as veggie itself is a tasty combination. There are also women's hygiene products in the toilet that I would like to highlight in a positive way.

Everything tastes fresh, homemade and super delicious. Both meat eaters and vegans will get their money's worth here!

Delicious momos that are really well seasoned. The pickled vegetables also taste excellent and are still nice and crunchy. The noodle soup was also very tasty but a little less aromatic compared to the momos. I'll definitely come back for a big helping of momos. Tip: definitely make a reservation as the shop is relatively small.

Nice little restaurant with friendly service. The menu is small, but contains a delicious selection of dishes with selected, regional ingredients.

I went here on a recommendation and unfortunately I didn't like it at all. The matcha lime drink was delicious, the beef soup just didn't taste harmonious and wasn't authentic. The noodles haven't absorbed the broth, you still need to work on the pasta dough. The service was okay, a bit lackluster and incredibly long waiting times despite it not being very busy. Unfortunately not my favorite shop in Sülz but maybe. for others.

A small, friendly shop with a small menu, but a lot of it is homemade. Personally, I think that's great, whether drinks like iced teas or lemonades are homemade and there are few offered by third-party companies, even if they are regional. This is also how food products are handled. We once had the momos with pork and shiitake and the noodles with pork belly... the flavor and aroma are in the Chinese style where they use Szechuan pepper, star anise, cinnamon and coriander. Even if I'm not a fan of the taste and aroma of the broth, everything deserves full marks, it tastes super authentic and a lot of attention is paid to quality. For me, a definite recommendation to try out the store. Thank you very much for the culinary trip to China.

I've been going here on and off for 3 years and as far as I can remember the prices have not increased nor has the quality decreased. I always take the vegan momos and the vegan cucumber salad. I can also recommend the sweet momos, as well as the homemade iced tea. Small, clear menu with great dishes. Only recommended!

Incredibly good and authentic food. The menu is clear and every dish is very well thought out and coordinated. Every now and then there are seasonal specials that have so far impressed me without exception. The homemade drinks are also stylishly composed. The shop is cozy and tastefully decorated. Overall, probably my favorite restaurant in Cologne.

We ordered the beef and pork momos. The pork ones were ok, the vegetables compensated for the very large meat-heavy dumplings, but unfortunately the beef momos weren't to our liking. Of course, we knew from the description that the filling would be “just” a meatball with ginger and pepper, but the taste was still rather monotonous. We also had the pork belly soup. The meat was well marinated and braised until tender. The broth, on the other hand, was rather disappointing. Simply a diluted soy broth with little depth. Just soy seasoning without a base. Unfortunately, the noodles weren't anything special, they were too thick rather than pleasant to grip. So if you want a good, authentic meal here, you have better options elsewhere, but the restaurant is fine as an introduction to Asian cuisine.

The cucumber salad beforehand is awesome! The taste of both the vegan momos and the noodles is top notch. The vegan vegetable filling has a particularly delicious, spicy taste. The broth the noodles swim in is pure umami flavor. Clear recommendation!

This stylish dumpling restaurant is located in the middle of Cologne's south, in Sülz. If you're hungry for dumplings, this is definitely the place for you. The dumplings are really big and the filling is very flavorful and has an excellent texture. The dumplings are served steaming. The soups are also recommended. We ordered two types. The beef broth was a little too salty for my taste, which overpowered the other flavors. Perhaps the salt mixture could be adjusted a bit. The service was super nice and accommodating. We were given one set of chopsticks too few, but when asked, this was immediately corrected with a smile. The interior is a mix of nerd culture, shabby chic and festival souvenirs. It may not be for everyone, but the owner is certainly personable and creative.

The food is really delicious, but unfortunately you don't get to order often because there are simply no reusable containers. It's a shame when you offer this concept but you can't lend containers to customers.

Quite expensive for pasta, but definitely worth it. Rarely eaten something so delicious, can recommend everything!

Previously excellent, today portions with less meat, pasta has deteriorated. Still good but still a shame. I no longer make the journey from Burscheid.

Vegan noodle bowl… omg soooo yum!!! Service was also super attentive and welcoming!! Atmosphere was also on point. Loved it here and already looking forward to coming back.
