The shawarma here is so good — super tasty and full of flavor. Just a heads up: they only take cash. Definitely coming back for more!

They took too long to prepare the meal. And the atmosphere smells like bunt fat, so all my clothes smelled like it by the time I got out. The food was okay, though, but nothing special

My favorite Syrian restaurant. It always tastes great and is fresh, is aesthetic and acts on the soul like a little break from stressful everyday life. The chefs always pay attention to detail when preparing the food and everything is perfect.

This afternoon I ordered two falafel in bread with grilled vegetables to take away. After about 4 minutes, both falafels rolled in white paper (like printing paper) were almost soaked at the end. Still, we tried to eat it. The first bite was really tasty, but gradually we had the feeling that we were eating more sauerkraut salad, there was so much pickled stuff in it. The big disappointment was even the falafel, not crispy at all. That's why I can't understand the very good reviews. The store is otherwise well maintained and clean. However, there were hardly any customers there.

My boyfriend and I came for a late dinner as the place is open until 1am. I ordered this baba ganush (in the photo) which apparently looked good but was really inedible. I'm not very selective with food but this was really impossible to eat because it was too acidic. I'm no expert but other baba ganush I've eaten didn't taste like this at all. It didn't taste like aubergine at all, just pepper and lemon. I left it there reluctantly. Not a place I would recommend

My girlfriend and I had two dishes, a Shawarma and a Baba ganush. The shawarma was really over seasoned, almost acidic which made it taste bad. The Baba ganush was inedible. A very strong, acidic taste, as if it had gone bad or something. The eggplant flavor didn't even exist. Furthermore, the clerk was distant and slow. I don't recommend the place.

It has very nice mixed plates for under 11 euros, it would be good if the cutlery was polished and dusted, it has an attractive seating area

The food was delicious! The portion was huge; I had a mixed döner platter and for 1 person it was plenty. The place itself is small but cozy. The owner was very kind and gave me some grace when I didn't have enough cash on me. Worth visiting!

Tastes quite good. However, the price-performance ratio is very modest. If you're hungry you have to dig deep into your pockets. A shawarma sandwich (€6.50) is nothing more than a very slim snack here. In my opinion, Sanabel at Boxhagener Platz is significantly better in all respects.

Your answer shows that you didn't read my review properly. I ordered the food via Uber Eats and wasn't in your restaurant. Instead of responding to my criticism, you copy a standard answer with the wrong name. The portion was tiny compared to the pictures in the app, and the price was outrageous. If you take your customers seriously, you should either adjust your portion sizes or display the images in the app honestly. Otherwise I expect a refund because what I got was not what you promised. Shameless rip-off! For €18.20 I got a tiny portion in a plastic box – a disgrace! The picture in the app shows a large, rich plate, but what was delivered was a joke of a meal. Far too little, completely overpriced and absolutely disappointing. Hands off!

We were rather rudely informed that there was no space available and all free tables were reserved. That's perfectly normal for a Friedrichshain snack bar, right, guys. Or was it more to do with how we looked?

Wow at Zaitoun it tastes brutally good no matter what you order and you'll be full. I can recommend him to all gourmets with a clear conscience. There are few that have such good food and a very good price/performance ratio. We come here regularly for food and it is always delicious.

Everything is super fresh and homemade and delicious! I often come here for lunch but also occasionally in the evening. My favorite is Makloube and the Falafel Makali plate.

Stable delicious food. Unfortunately, the "plate dishes" are only offered with fries. Unfortunately, the fries don't handle delivery very well. It would be nice if another side dish, such as rice, were possible. I have only ordered delivery so far, so no review of the service and ambience.

I like to order here via Wolt...sometimes several days in a row. The hummus is absolutely amazing, and of course the falafel too!!

We ordered food because it looked great in the pictures, with salad, herbs, pomegranate seeds, etc. What we got were soft fries without salt, dry meat, a few loveless slices of cucumber and carrot. To be honest, we feel ripped off because the reviews are so good. I really don't know what for.

Definitely the best Syrian food in all of Berlin. I come here regularly and you can taste that the cooking here is made with love. The portions are super generous and the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. The staff are always friendly, especially Basel. He's such a nice guy and you always feel welcome straight away. Best falafel in Berlin! Possibly the best I’ve had anywhere! If you’re lucky you even get pomegranate inside and sumac sprinkled on top. Always delicious regardless!

Maklube with mint yogurt, it tastes like coming home. Sambusak with cheese. Really not your typical falafel shop. Everything here tastes a little different, a little more creative and a lot more flavor. There's love in here.

The absolutely best food of this type I’ve had in Berlin (and as you know, the competition is huge), but this is un-fkin-real! As for the chicken shawarma and hummus, I haven’t had better anywhere, even outside of Berlin. The guys working there are super friendly, they even offered me additional lavash bread while I was eating hummus because they saw I had finished it.
