Aleppo Supper Club in Berlin

We were not able to taste their food. So, I cant make any comment about them. But, their staff are extremely rude. I have made a reservation from their website for friday afternoon and afterwards, I specifically called the restaurant to specify to get the table outside. They confirmed over the phone. When we arrived on restaurant, they said that there is no place to sit outside and that it is not possible to reserve a sit outside. When I explained their response over the phone, first they blaimed their other staff that I should have talk with him. And then he blaimed me that I dont own that restaurant….. extremely rude staff. It does not matter if the food were delicious if you can make serve people. I dont recomment this rest at all

This was my second time eating here and the food was again super fresh and delicious. The map is clear so you won't be overwhelmed by the selection. The atmosphere is very cozy and the service is very friendly and pleasant. Always my pleasure.

This restaurant offers an authentic Syrian atmosphere with exceptionally friendly and respectful staff. The dishes are rich in traditional oriental ingredients, capturing the unique flavours of Aleppo and the broader Middle Eastern cuisine.

First time here and certainly not the last. Hummus was lovely and my rice dish was popping with spices, flavour, and texture variation (I would say the optional yoghurt is not optional unless dietary issues come in). I received a warm welcome and was offered to take my leftovers to go, as I ordered too much. It quickly seemed obvious though, that for the best experience you go as a group to share all the delicious things. Great place.

Fabulous dishes, incredibly friendly staff, full of recommendations. Dishes are remarkably flavorful. Ask for the baklava from their special box of pistachio treasures. Fair prices. Highly recommended.

Allepo Supper Club is an excellent choice if you are looking for a middle eastern fix. We had a feast (and definitely over ordered for two people, but I love middle eastern food and wanted to try everything I could). We ordered the falafel (which comes with hummus), pomegranate salad, Kabsa (rice dish), menazele (eggplant dish) and pickled vegetables. We also received a bread basket. The food was great! Everything had a good balance of flavour, the falafel were moist and tasty and the hummus had good dimension, you could taste the chickpea and the tahini cutting through. The pomegranate salad was a great, fresh and zesty palate cleanser to cut through the umami flavours of the other dishes. The eggplant dish was a little bland and could have done with a little extra salt, but this was the only dish I would say this about, everything else was seasoned excellently, including the rice which had a really nice nutty, middle eastern fragrance. I would recommend everyone try this restaurant at least once. The serving sizes were good and the price point was also fair. The staff were excellent, they all spoke English and were really friendly and kind. They joked with us and made us feel welcome. The reason I didn’t give five stars for service is because this venue is CASH ONLY ⚠️ - so bring some cash with you when you come. Atmosphere was nice, there was mood lighting, the music got a little loud at some points, but otherwise it was fine to hear everyone at the table. Bathrooms were clean.

We had the shakshuka, which was fine. The rice dish with cashews, however, was quite dry—and apparently, the yogurt that would have helped had to be ordered separately. Drinks are small and overpriced, so maybe bring your own bottle if you’re thirsty

Food was nice (emphasis on the word nice as it was nothing mind blowing). When entering the restaurant, the lady who worked there was not very welcoming which dampened the experience whenever we had an interaction with her. However, the other staff were great. In terms of the food, the taste was good but i would not recommended this particular restaurant as I believe there are better Syrian restaurants. Lastly, the prices I didn’t feel matched the dishes. We had a pomegranate salad that was around 8-10 euros, which didn’t fit the taste or freshness of what we received - it was literally pomegranate with cabbage. Nice vibes, but would recommend to a friend unfortunately

Wonderful Cuisine, loved the Pomegranate Salad, wished it to be half of the serving, Falafel & Hummus were wonderful too! The vegetarians went home with a full stomach!

Four of us were here for dinner during the week, after a bit of a wait we got a table outside. It's tight, loud, shaky, but Berliners are used to stress. Service nice and quick. When it comes to food: there is a lot of vegan and vegetarian options that you can combine with meat. In any case, you should order a sauce (mint yoghurt, for example) with it, because I was unlucky with my lentil dish, which was so dry that we didn't finish it. Everything tasted a bit bland, you have to like that. Inside it is nicely decorated and smells of mint, cumin and other things. Toilets in need of an overhaul.

Unfortunately the food didn't taste like anything, we were a bit disappointed after all the good reviews.

To be honest, I was a bit disappointed by the many good reviews and I'm now wondering how they come about. The food was okay, but I would have expected a little more for the price. My meal consisted of fatty rice with 4-5 slices of eggplant, some nuts and was unfortunately rather tasteless. It may well be authentic, but unfortunately it didn't suit my taste. The grape leaves were okay too, but the flavor composition wasn't really right for me. Even the yoghurt couldn't be removed. I was thinking about whether I could still give it 4 stars. Maybe I just had the wrong dishes. But I would only give 4 stars if I would come again and unfortunately that is not the case here. An invoice was not issued.

Expected much more in terms of food/taste based on the rating but left with a huge disappointment. Food was quite bland, lamb had almost no taste.

It was a good meal with very nice service. It's nice to sit outside on a summer evening. The insider tip with the rice is definitely a bowl of the yogurt. The food seems very authentic but nothing earth-shattering in my opinion. We would definitely come back.

Eggplant with minced meat was a bit bland in taste - unfortunately also due to the too much tomato sauce, which had no taste. Small portion! Hummus with nuts: very tasty. No bill! Cash only!

I come from Aleppo myself and had dinner here with my wife. I often go to Berlin and was impressed by the food and the service. In fact, it was so good that I considered eating here a second time. Next time I'm in Berlin I'll definitely come here again. I can highly recommend this restaurant!

Service was great and also the atmosphear but the 2 dishes we had were a bit " bare" so we had bulgur and lentil with almont and i found it dry and plain and even worst the stuffed aubergines , it felt like they were jars ones not cooked..4 tiny mini pieces...so hard to eat and too vinegary...i liked the ambience i will give another chance...but that is my experience...also as i did not like it i found it was expensive for what you get

I recently dined at this Syrian place, after getting recommended by many friends for its great tasting food and friendly service. The staff is excellent, and the outdoor seating area is a nice touch, perfect for enjoying a meal in the pleasant neighborhood. While the portions were a bit smaller than expected, making it feel somewhat expensive for the quantity, the overall experience was very enjoyable. The flavorful dishes and warm hospitality make it a worthwhile visit. Feel free to ask questions around the menu to understand what you are ordering, they are quite helpful.

Small portions for big prices. Toilet clogged and not sour even though it was only the afternoon and there was little crowd. You don't get an invoice, but you probably bypass the tax authorities every now and then.

The food was good, but unfortunately, the dining experience was unpleasant. I had reserved a table for two in advance, but we were placed at the back of the restaurant at a table crammed into a very dark corner, right in front of the bathrooms. The line for the bathrooms kept bumping into us. We saw other nearby tables that were free, and when we asked to be moved, we were told that a large group was expected for those tables. However, throughout the evening, other couples arrived and were seated at those tables. At the end of the meal, we were informed that payment could only be made in cash, which was not communicated at any point beforehand. We also did not receive a receipt, which I find unacceptable.

Dishes have exactly the flavor, which I expected, when I’ve ordered. But just it, not specifically impressive taste. And it isn’t that affordable from that side of view, but it is the unfortunate inflation in Berlin.

I went there for lunch and would definitely go again! Incredibly delicious meals with lots of flavour. I enjoy the maqluba a lot, highly recommend getting it with the minced beef and mint yogurt. The Mocca coffee pots looked fascinating as well. I did not try them myself but noticed many guests ordering them. Staff was kind and welcoming as well.

I’ve been here twice: the first time we were seated in the main room and it was calm and pleasant. The second time unfortunately we were put on a very tiny table in the small room — noisy and hard to talk. Food is excellent: I’m so happy I found a place that does my favourite dish mnazzaleh! Hummus and muttabal are delish. Staff is fairly attentive and friendly. Bill is totally fair. Will definitely come back hopefully to be seated in the main area and not the claustrophobic small room.

I order several time and Food was always fresh & tasty 🤤…. Good choice for vegan as well , Taboule 10/10, and kibble Nayie 10/10 Makluba 8/10 , Falafel 9/10 , sanbusik cheese 10/10 … also super clean The only thing that maybe it’s a negative thing, it’s the prices… could a bit 🤏 lower 😅

The menazele with meat didn't taste particularly tasty, the sanbasuk with lamb was very bland and dry, we really expected something better. Only the tabbuleh salad was good. Overall the food was overpriced.

We were there for a quick visit and ordered Metabel (eggplant hummus) and Kibbe Nayie (bulgur) as well as two drinks. In total we paid €23.50 for it. The food is delicious, that's without question, but the portions you get for the completely exorbitant prices are unfortunately not enough. Yes, they were appetizers, but the prices are already beyond the appetizer prices. In addition, a 0.2L soda is served for €3. The bread got a little stuck in my throat.

I've wanted to visit this restaurant for a long time, but I've never been there. Finally there was the opportunity a few days ago, and I was simply thrilled - very large selection of vegan dishes, and everything was super delicious! I tried hummus, mogadala and metabel. The last one was particularly recommended. We spent €52 for the entire dinner (picture 1) (including drinks). We would love to come back!

Really lovely food that tastes home made

Aleppo is a go to for me when I am craving hearty comfort food. I have been trying their delivery service and the food comes surprisingly hot and nice. My recommendations would be the Makluba, it’s as authentic as it can get. Also if you are craving some lentils then I would go for the Mogadara with gorgeous crispy onions on top. *I’m also obsessed with their fresh pomegranate salad, it’s not authentic but man does it pack a punch! ❤️ What I would not recommend though is the grape leaves (it’s not the worst, but honestly it’s not the best here either) and definitely stay away from the Kabsa (I’m surprised people are recommending it! It is lackluster and doesn’t have enough spices at all, knowing and having tasted the original many times in many places). Are the not recommended dishes bad? No. But you are better off ordering other things ;)

Absolute highlight - uniquely aromatic dishes with very special spices, fantastic service, very attentive and competent. And with your meal there is freshly tapped beer from the brewery next door. Definitely try it!

Very good food, nothing to conplain about. But the service was bad, and at the end of the diner, we asked for the note, which never came. So we were asked to pay 50 euros, but after calculation, we knew that it was overpriced (we still had to pay). I would not recommend this place.

I had a pleasant experience at the restaurant. I ordered the falafel, and it was absolutely delicious. However, I found that the portion size was a bit small, ideally suited for one person. Despite this, the overall dining experience was enjoyable, and the flavors of the falafel made it a memorable meal

I thoroughly enjoyed Kabsa,it was flavorful and well-prepared. The fried bread complemented the dishes perfectly and the ambience was pleasant. However, I found the shakshuka to be a bit too sour for my taste.

Tolles Restaurant mit wirklich sehr leckerem Essen und viel vegetarischer & veganer Auswahl! 🌱Geschmacklich und optisch hat uns jedes Gericht überzeugt und es war mal was anders als die üblichen Restaurants und toll gewürzt 🧆 Der Service war auch klasse (Kellner hat sogar gefragt ob es uns zu kalt ist und er die Heizung höher drehen soll. Das hatte ich noch nie.) Insgesamt wirklich sehr empfehlenswert 😌

A very nice restaurant and a brilliant staff. I arrived at 21H based on my reservation, however, I placed my order 30-40 mins after arriving as my friend was running late. Moreover, they had to close the kitchen earlier than usual (until 22H) on that day as it was 31st December. The staff was patient enough to wait and happily prepared my order later. Super grateful to them for their patience. The food was great and so was their service. Will definitely visit again 💜
