Very nice and courteous service at the counter. Although it has the character of a snack bar, it is one of the first shops I have experienced where the tables were cleaned with cleaning agent and the floor was swept immediately afterwards. Top. We were only in Berlin for two days from Hanover. Definitely worth a visit. Prices were top for the huge portions. We would have to pack up the rest🤣🤣

We are visiting Berlin today and wanted to have something delicious to eat. We came in and were given time to choose and then we ordered. The portions were so large that we unfortunately had to pack up the rest. The food was very good. But I'm sad about the Taboule salad, I couldn't take the leftovers with me, but that was a portion that my mom would have made for the entire family. We are 7 children. As soon as someone left, the table was cleaned and swept. We were able to see how even the coffee machine was being cleaned. Very nice staff and very nice for a “snack” I can only highly recommend.

Food was ok but extremely expensive as if you were sitting in a 4 star restaurant. You can't eat in it because you'll have breathing problems. Air was mixed with oil in the shop. The store is not aware of the ventilation system. He didn't give me the bill. Not recommendable A message was forwarded to the tax office and health department

I recently visited Al Sham Restaurant and was extremely disappointed with my experience. From the service to the food, everything was a disaster. First of all, the service was unfriendly and not very attentive. We had to ask multiple times for someone to take our order and when they finally did, the staff were curt and disinterested. It seemed like they would rather be somewhere else. The food itself was also disappointing. The dishes arrived at the table lukewarm and tasted bland and carelessly prepared. Additionally, some ingredients were obviously not fresh, which made the entire experience even more unpleasant. Overall, my visit to Al Sham was a huge disappointment. Neither the service nor the food justify another visit. I definitely cannot recommend this restaurant.

It is impossible for me to go back and try again and come to the restaurant because there is no order or cleanliness and the food was never good and the shawarma was very dry. I hope you pay more attention to cleanliness.

This is the first time I see your restaurant employees returning leftover food, such as pickles and carrots, so that they can serve them to the customer again. The restaurant is not clean at all. I feel like I am in a slaughterhouse for snakes, and there is also another thing. Don’t forget to put tissues in the toilet. Take care of cleanliness, you elders.

Food is still pretty tasty, but they can't seem to cope with their success. We ordered 3 sandwiches to take away. After we paid we were told it could take 15-20 minutes.. We then had to wait over 30 minutes for 3 sandwiches and only got them when we started to get really angry. There was chaos in the bag and 5 sandwiches were found at home... The food is delicious, but don't go there if you're really hungry or just want to eat a shawarma or a falafel on the way. It takes a ridiculously long time and you're only told about it once you've already paid. P.S.: The owner asks if I've been there before. I was, I live around the corner. Always enjoyed going there. But what kind of response is that to the review?

The only thing I've tried is the crispy chicken sandwich they make which is literally the best sandwich I've eaten in Berlin so far. I'm sure their other stuff are also lovely, but I'm forever in love with the cripsy chicken sandwich. I prefer take it from the shop rather than using Wolt/Lieferando since these apps add a 10% to 20% in the shop prices.

I have eaten many times at this place and it often depends how packed the Restaurant is. When it is very busy e.g. after 6 pm or weekends you have to wait a long time to receive the food, if it is less crowded you receive your food pretty fast. In my experience the vegetarian options are pretty decent. The prices are okay for the amount and quality of food you get. I paid ~12€ for all the food and one drink which you can see on my picture.

The restaurant is clean, the atmosphere is dark. The plates were completely full and the food wasn't really good. The staff wasn't hostile, but we didn't really feel comfortable as guests either. Arepeat visit is unlikely and only conceivable under adverse circumstances.

5 years ago I reviewed "Best Humus and friendliest staff in Neukölln". Still great food but the disposable plates are a real turn off.
