Peace be upon you. Today in the morning I went to have breakfast at Al-Dimashqi Restaurant and unfortunately the food was very bad and the treatment was even worse. I have been a customer of the restaurant for more than two years and every time in the morning I order the best food, but from today onwards I will never go back to the restaurant again. The workers’ behaviour makes you feel as if they are feeding you a tribute to the souls of the dead, unfortunately. 👎👎

The guy was absolutely unfriendly. He stood at the counter with a card and yelled at customers to pay in cash. He then got angry when they only had cards. He had to get the card reader. Hygiene was absolutely terrible, and the kebab was just bread with meat as decoration or something. There was hardly any food. The boss just shouted and was absolutely rude.

A good Syrian restaurant. It feels like a modified version of kebab. I really love the various sauces.

- Average taste. - Very rude service. - My vegetarian order came with meat, and when I pointed this out, the meat was simply removed from my plate instead of giving my friend a new one. - The makali and coleslaw were dripping with grease.

The sandwich was too dry and not enough chicken inside like the real shawarma

I ordered food there and was very satisfied. The fatoush was delicious, and the toasted bread was served in a separate bowl, making it nice and crispy – fantastic! Shawarma was also good, a bit dry, but the würzburg was very good (a light hint of cinnamon), and the hummus was also very good. The garlic cream was the only slightly disappointing thing; it was very runny and had hardly any flavor…more like watery yogurt. Overall, though, I was very satisfied; it was delicious. I'd gladly go back.

The employees often don't fully understand what you're ordering. Wrong orders keep coming up, and when you ask, they don't speak proper German, so it's almost impossible to clarify anything. Plus, it takes too long. Very disappointing.

I placed an order: a schwarma plate with just meat, no sauce, fries, or salad, and a regular schwarma plate. Both orders were delivered incorrectly—they looked exactly the same, with only a little schwarma meat but a lot of sauce. Half of it was just sauce. Absolutely not recommended. It seems like they don't understand German at all. I've been eating here for three years, and this has never happened to me before. When I called, the man on the phone just said, "Sorry, what should I do?"—no understanding, just excuses about being rushed and so on. If you can't speak German, why do you work here? He said I'd get a free schwarma plate next time—but that lost me as a customer. I definitely don't recommend this place. Greedy people who don't put the right amount of meat in their plates.

I usually order online and yesterday my order was the worst ever. The broasted chicken meal was acceptable, but the shawarma, I swear to God, was garbage. The chicken was cut into thick pieces and not cooked well. I called and explained it to him, and he said, "What's wrong with you now?" Hahaha. I want you to be safe. Thank you.

Super delicious Syrian food. I've already tried a lot of things on the menu and can recommend everything so far.

I've only eaten different shawarma so far and they're really good. And I'll eat it more often when I'm in the area. So I can't say anything about the rest of the dishes. However, the times I was there, the store was extremely crowded.

I was in this area looking for something good to eat ,first the price was good, the chicken shish osta didn't leave the meat get crispy until get brown color ,the bread is OK, and the cashier was a good person, and the location was easy

When you want to open a restaurant, do not bring garbage plates because we don’t have the choice to eat corks And it's not my fault when you send me burnt food and the plates are stained from the heat of the food. It's not my fault when you make a hamlet and the store is full. You fix your mistake immediately and in any way.

Really brilliant staffing, we ordered 5 whole chickens: super tender meat, with fantastic side dishes at a reasonable price. We needed the invoice again after a week because it was lost. Thanks to the patient staff, it was able to be printed out again. Thank you. Great again!

Disappointing! Ordered a Schwarma plate with fries.. received a Schwarma sandwich with exactly 10 fries, 1 tomato slice, cucumber slice and what felt like 200g mayo.. food was sticky. Vegan sandwich was quite ok…

A lot of stars, even if there was less than one star, I would have chosen. I bought chicken escalope sandwiches from the restaurant. I found bread, breadcrumbs, and sauce, but I did not find any chicken. Even the sauce was not good at all, and it was expensive. I regretted that I had bought it in vain. If I had bought a falafel sandwich from any unknown store, I would have been insulted and paid much less. I no longer go back to the store and do not recommend it

This is from the Ta'amini, Aalqabr and Dini Shawarma group. I swear to God, I have eaten from it many times, and every time it is easy and my stomach hurts, that is, if I put oil in the tires, whatever. Other than that, the quality of food is not consistent every time, meaning it may be wrong twenty or twenty times. Repentance is over and it will not be repeated again.

Unfortunately, the sandwich was just toum. I couldn't even taste the chicken.

The falafel and sandwiches like shawarma are okay but the plate dishes and makli, haloumi, or taboule etc. Just tasteless and dry mixed together in a pile. Spices are missing here and there are no sauces either. We don't even want to start talking about the unsalted, limp French fries. Look for yourself in the photo... 15€ for a mix plate like this and tabboule for 7€ without taste.

The best place to eat shawarma and grilled chicken in this area

The food is very good. I wish you success and continued improvement. Honestly, I tried the crispy and cordon with shawarma, which I am a regular customer of, but the crispy has become much better and the cordon is from another world. Thank you guys.

This place offers a refreshing twist on the shawarma I’m used to back in Toronto. Instead of the usual rice, they’ve swapped in French fries, and while that might throw some off at first glance, don’t let appearances fool you. It’s an explosion of flavors, one after another. The subtle fragrances of complex spices, combined with a variety of herbs and a hint of citrus, elevate the quality of the meat with each bite. The sauces lean from medium to bold but manage to balance perfectly with the rest of the toppings. If I had one minor wish, it would be for the roast chicken to be a bit juicier. It’s on the drier side compared to the kebab spindle-style chicken I’m accustomed to. Still, the flavor profile more than makes up for it, and I can’t help but wish we had a spot like this in Toronto. Definitely a place I’d return to if given the chance!

Very disrespectful treatment of customers. I've eaten there a few times and I really enjoyed it. I just wanted to make sure that the meat actually comes from companies that place great value on Halal. Unfortunately I didn't get an answer, instead I only got anger and disrespect...

I haven't been to the restaurant yet, but I ordered from this place on ubereats. First of all, as they also make clear, their shawarma is Syrian-style, which is very close to Iskandarūn style (ours is much spicier and spicier), which I like. Levantine shawarma and southern-style shawarma (Jordan, Egypt, etc.) are different from each other, so it won't be the same in every Arabic restaurant you eat at. Secondly, I am allergic to tomatoes and they never messed up my order or caused any problems, they really made sure my order was prepared correctly. The shawarma sauce they have is above average in Berlin. One of my favorite shawarma places in the city and definitely the best in the Gesundbrunnen area.

The meat is cold and old, the vegetables are old and taste disgusting, the bread anyway and there was fake Turkish cola for €3!!!!!! Not recommended, go somewhere else if your body and health are important to you

The price increases as portions become smaller and smaller. I paid a hefty 10 EUR for 3 small chicken fillet strips, a handful of fries, some sauce and a few cucumbers. As a customer, I feel like I've been ripped off. Never again!

unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. We ordered grilled chicken and shish tawook, but what we received was far from what was expected. The chicken was not grilled at all—it tasted and looked like it was made in the oven, lacking any of the smoky, charred flavor you expect from grilled food. Both dishes were more reminiscent of something homemade, not restaurant-quality, and certainly not what we were hoping for.

I ate a falafel sandwich here twice. The falafel were fresh and very tasty and all of this for 4€ is very fair ;) If I stay in Berlin Gesundbrunnen for a longer period of time, I will come back at any time!
