Small Italian restaurant. Delicious.

Excellent service, nicely located centrally, although parking is difficult (better to arrive by public transport/taxi). Booking a table online was super easy. The vitello tonnato was delicious, the tagliatelle tartufo was perfectly seasoned, and the food was prepared within 10-15 minutes. Our dessert, the churros, was the perfect ending to our visit. Noi is my new favorite restaurant in Cologne; I'll be back! :)

Great atmosphere, cozy and an amazing crew. The dishes are served fast and with a high degree of quality and finishing. The Linguini Gamberetti were very good and the octopus in black sauce was a highlight. The ambient was superb and the service high quality. We spent a great time there. I had dinner at NOI Cologne in the Belgisches Viertel, and it was a very enjoyable experience in a stylish Italian setting. The atmosphere is modern and elegant, making it a great place for an evening meal. I tried the “NOI” pizza with pancetta, chorizo, fior di latte, and tomato sauce. The dough was perfectly crispy, which made a big difference in terms of taste and texture. For dessert, I had the homemade chocolate cake with berries, which was absolutely excellent and a highlight of the meal. Overall, the food quality was very good. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for a nice Italian restaurant in Cologne.

Crowded, loud, and cramped, but also very attentive; you feel noticed, and the service and communication were very pleasant. Delicious food and good wine.

The food was really delicious and the service very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, it was incredibly loud, making conversation nearly impossible. We were there on a Saturday evening. The backless bar stools weren't particularly comfortable or inviting either, so we had to quickly find another spot after dinner to enjoy our evening together.

I really don't understand the 4.9 rating. Clearly overpriced and poor value for money. The carbonara and truffle pasta were cooked with too much cream, far from what you'd expect from a good Italian restaurant. The carpaccio and vitello tonnato were also tasteless. And all this at the price of an expensive restaurant. The quality of the food just doesn't match the price.

A small, unique restaurant with an open kitchen. The food is exceptionally good, and the service is quick and friendly. Since there wasn't much space, we sat at a table with strangers and quickly found ourselves engaged in lively conversation. A place for people who aren't shy about socializing :-). We enjoyed it.

They seem to have problems with their booking system; apparently, I only reserved for one hour, even though I had a confirmation for two. We were seated on a windowsill, which really doesn't qualify as a table – especially when you pay €25 for a plate of pasta! To top it off, we were sitting next to a space heater. The food was good, but given the ambiance and the friendliness of the service, I wouldn't go back or recommend it.

A hidden gem for authentic Italian food! 🇮🇹 A small, cozy restaurant with around 30 seats – reservations are a must, otherwise you'll hardly stand a chance. The two of us were there for about two hours, which was plenty of time. It's not really the place for lingering and chatting, but it's perfect for enjoying really good food. Our dishes were delicious, arrived quite quickly, and the Lugana was also excellent. The waitress was working alone and therefore a bit busy, but she was still friendly and attentive. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

A restaurant we discovered during our trip to Cologne. It's just as good as, and even better than, the restaurants we've experienced in Italy over the years. We thoroughly enjoyed every order. All the staff were friendly and very attentive. We will definitely visit again on our next trip.

We were at NOI for New Years Eve. They had prepared a special four course menu and it was absolutely delicious. First course was a great pumpkin soup which was very creamy. Second course was a salmon tartar which tasted really good. Main course was a tournedos which melted on your tongue served with mashed potatoes. The final course was a limoncello cake which I loved. The staff was very friendly and helpful and their dining with friends concept I loved too. Highly recommended.

Everything was perfect, I love this restaurant. The service is fantastic, the food is delicious, the atmosphere is super cute, you can even see into the kitchen. It's very small, yet not (too) loud, the portions are very generous, and the dessert menu is always exciting :3

I've been there twice. Once spontaneously in the summer of 2025, late at night. That was great. The food was delicious, and I received almost personal service from, I believe, one of the owners – a top-notch experience. 5/5 Most recently, I was there in December 2025, just before Christmas, at prime time, 8 pm. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good experience. We were practically sharing a table with another couple (table next to table). Given the high prices – appropriate for a good Italian restaurant in the Belgian Quarter – everything has to be just right. We had young servers who simply didn't come around regularly, even though there were a noticeably large number of employees working in the restaurant. The selection of open red wines wasn't good (we drank three-quarters of them, and the price was around €7 for 0.1l). The food was mediocre. The worst part was that our table of three was being served at the same time as a large table of six, which is logistically impossible in the small open kitchen. The pizza was already cold when it arrived. Pasta 1 arrived 5 minutes later. Pasta 2 arrived 5 minutes later. 1/5

What a fantastic location! I really love going to this Italian restaurant. Whether it's pasta or antipasti, everything always tastes great. The wine selection is also impressive. I'd order the Vitello Tonnato as a main course, and I'll be completely satisfied. It's a lot of fun here. I especially love the Pasta Tartufo. It's right up my alley. I highly recommend it. The Noi Pizza is also delicious.

Oh, what a great place! I was really pleased with the excellent service; that's not the norm these days. Please keep it up! We had classic pasta and pizza. I always order the classics the first time I visit. You can really tell if the chef has mastered their craft. It was excellent. Next time I'll try one of the other dishes; everything I saw looked delicious. I recommend this place to anyone shopping or passing through the Belgian Quarter, even if you're not specifically thinking about Italian food that day. I've had some terrible experiences nearby, even though everything looked fine from the outside. The quality here is top-notch, thank you so much! See you again soon!

This place showed me the true meaning of "Stammtisch" (regulars' table) 😀 There's nowhere in Cologne I'd rather go for an evening with friends. Cena con amici isn't an empty promise. It really does feel like sitting around a friend's kitchen table…

You can make delicious food every now and then.

Unfortunately disappointing – neither the food nor the service was convincing. The carbonara was bland and bore little resemblance to a real carbonara; the bacon tasted more like smoked bacon. At around €20 per portion, the quality and atmosphere fell far short of expectations. The waiter was unfriendly and inattentive, reacting irritably and only after a considerable delay to inquiries about the ingredients used – overall, a very impersonal service. Also very bothersome: After the visit, my clothes and hair still smelled strongly of the kitchen. Overall, not a place I would recommend.

A truly fantastic restaurant right in the heart of the Belgian Quarter. Bustling, lively, and welcoming. From the super-fast and incredibly friendly service to the absolutely delicious food, this is a restaurant you simply must visit. We ordered several dishes. For starters, we had salmon tartare and beetroot carpaccio. Both were generous portions and very tasty. The beetroot carpaccio was topped with a huge piece of goat cheese. Everything was wonderfully seasoned and finished with a perfect vinaigrette. For my main course, I had pasta with plenty of summer truffle on beef carpaccio. A portion that more than filled me up. It's pricey, but the quantity and flavor justify the cost. The only downsides are that they don't have draft beer and the restaurant (which was completely full) is very noisy, so while conversation isn't a problem, it can be a bit tiring. Ultimately, though, this is an Italian restaurant you absolutely have to experience.

My girlfriend had the truffle pasta and I had the rigatoni from the daily special, and both dishes were incredibly delicious! And above all, the food was beautifully presented. They say you eat with your eyes. When we got our food, we truly thought, WOW YUM! A big compliment to the kitchen. We'll definitely be back!

An evening at Noi Cologne was a culinary experience of the highest caliber for me. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you sense the stylish yet pleasantly relaxed atmosphere, setting the stage for a thoroughly successful evening. For starters, I chose a carpaccio, which impressed with its delicate seasoning and the perfect balance of freshness and refinement. Every bite was a testament to the high quality of the ingredients and the chef's fine sense of touch. The main course was a Black Angus rump steak, which was simply masterfully prepared: covered in a flavorful crust on the outside, juicy on the inside and cooked to perfection – exactly as you would expect. But Noi Cologne sets standards not only in terms of cuisine, but also in terms of service. The entire team worked with the utmost professionalism, attentiveness, and always with a pleasant ease. I would especially like to highlight the waitress Jule, who made the evening truly special with her warm manner, exceptional commitment, and remarkable attentiveness. She knew how to be present at all times without ever seeming intrusive – a quality of service one would wish for more often. All in all, it was an evening that combined culinary excellence with outstanding service. Noi Cologne is without a doubt a clear recommendation for anyone who values ​​quality, atmosphere, and hospitality.

The service was excellent, but the food, in my opinion, wasn't up to the highest standards. While certainly tasty, the pizza and bread had very thick crusts. I would have expected more for these prices.

Offensively slow service and mediocre food. It took 75+ minutes to receive very simple pasta dishes, and they were not good. Waiter charged us 3€ more than the menu price for one dish, which I only realized after I had paid. I don’t know why this place has good reviews. Save your time and money and go somewhere else - you can get better pasta from the grocery store.

NOI Cologne is a genuine recommendation and impressed me across the board. Although the restaurant was supposed to be closed for lunch during the holiday season, my online reservation was unfortunately still booked by mistake. I only learned of this when I arrived. Instead of sending us home, we received a very warm welcome and were given the special opportunity to dine in the restaurant together while the team was already preparing for the evening. We gladly accepted this offer and were given a lovely seat by the window. The feeling of having the entire restaurant to ourselves was unique and made the visit a very special experience. Culinarily, it was a real highlight. The warm bread with a delicious aioli to start with made us want more. The starter was creative, sophisticated, and exceptionally flavorful. The attention to detail in the pasta was practically evident. The high quality of the ingredients was evident in all dishes, and the seasonally changing menu also demonstrated how well thought-out and harmonious the culinary concept is. I would also like to particularly highlight the service. Of course, our situation was a bit unusual, but it was noticeable that the NOI Cologne generally has a very attentive and friendly atmosphere. You can simply tell that the team enjoys offering guests a special experience. All in all, this visit was a unique experience for me. I would like to express my sincere thanks to the entire team and am already looking forward to returning.

No kidding, this was the best pasta I've ever had, and the service was so good even though it was so late. The atmosphere is also very nice, with the table lights fitting the place perfectly. A friend who speaks English and I ate here together, and they had no problem speaking English either. I couldn't stop praising this restaurant. I highly recommend it.

The food was delicious, both the pizza and the pasta. I highly recommend the carpaccio pasta. The service was excellent. The funniest thing was that they toasted us with a shot of Limoncello.

The food was absolutely fine but the service was so slow, we had to repeatedly ask for drinks, they brought us someone else's order and couldn't figure out what else was missing for the order.

We had two pizzas with drinks. Roman style, the pizzas were okay, but you can get much better pizzas for much less money. Hence only 3 stars. Service was okay.

The food was good, but with the exception of the octopus, it was always missing that final touch. Truffle pasta with generous truffles was unfortunately too al dente. Salmon tartare with smoked salmon was not specified on the menu, risotto with plenty of bite... Good place, friendly service, but doesn't reach the standard it aspires to.

An exceptionally positive experience! I don't usually review restaurants – but this one truly deserves it. I was there alone, but I immediately got a nice seat outside – without a reservation (I would still recommend making one, though). The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish, there was good music playing, and you could tell everyone who works there enjoys their job. The servers and chefs were extremely friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic – a solid 10/10! The wine recommendation was also perfect.

Nice service, but honestly, the food wasn't that good. The pasta portion was super small, not worth the price; it was like a very expensive appetizer. Why so little pasta? I don't understand. The pizza looked good and big, I should have ordered pizza. Also, the seating outside is very cramped. It's uncomfortable to sit like that. Unfortunately, this will be our first and last time.

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. Since the weather was a bit uncertain, I had a reservation inside, but was able to switch to outside without any problems. The menu is small, but of exceptionally good quality. I'd rather have a few, very good, fresh dishes than a huge menu with lots of convenience food. I've rarely seen such friendly service staff who truly took incredible care of me. The food was fantastic, and it won't be my last visit. I didn't expect it to be this good.

I've been to this restaurant three times now: The first two were truly perfect – the food was great, the service friendly, and we were very satisfied each time. So we were really looking forward to our third visit. Unfortunately, a few things went wrong this time: Our waitress was on her first day, which I can understand as someone who works in the restaurant industry. Mistakes can happen. However, the table was very sticky, and although we politely asked for a wipe, they initially forgot. When we asked again, they just said that it just happens. There were three of us, and we were initially given the wrong bottle of water (which wasn't a big deal), but we had to ask for glasses. When we ate, we also only received cutlery upon request. Unfortunately, the food was cold, which we found very disappointing, as it had always been excellent before. What bothered us most, however, was that while we were eating, an employee was cleaning the neighboring tables and accidentally sprayed cleaning products on my friend's food. When my friend politely asked her to stop, she just rolled her eyes and said that then we couldn't sit there. We found that very disrespectful. I've really liked this restaurant so far and really hope this was just a one-time mistake. I wish the team all the best!

We had a reservation for dinner at NOI Cologne. The restaurant is very small, the seating is close together, and therefore quite loud – unfortunately, it didn't create a relaxed atmosphere. While the service was attentive, it seemed overwhelmed overall. Several drinks we tried to order throughout the evening were unavailable. At times, the waiters searched under the benches for refills – unfortunately, to no avail. The culinary experience was mixed: The spaghetti carbonara was rather bland and lacked flavor, and the Caesar salad was okay, but nothing special. Overall, the evening was okay, but not a place we would recommend for a special dinner.
