NOI in Köln

The restaurant is very nice. But every time we ordered something, the waiter came and told us that there was nothing left. For example, the tonic water was out. The vodka was out. The fish we ordered was out, the ice cream was out. Several dishes were out. So we ended up ordering pizza. If we had wanted pizza, we would have gone to a pizzeria.

Authentic carbonara and great service!

Basically a nice restaurant with very tasty food and friendly staff. The only problem was that it seemed cramped due to too many visitors in too small a space, and the employees were a little overwhelmed and couldn't really keep up. The pasta is still one of the best I've eaten in Cologne so far.

If you want to have Italian dinner in Cologne you have to come here!!! The unbeatable service, the two waiters au top. And the pasta... uahhh we ordered the truffle pasta, another with shrimp and another with ragout and honestly which one was better!! Perfect!!

Had a nice evening at NOI tonight. We ordered entrecôte and pikeperch with starters from the daily menu. Everything was great quality and nicely prepared. Service was really nice as well.

The NOI deserves more than 5 stars. The food is really fantastic. If you want to eat Italian in Cologne you have to go here. The service also works with a lot of passion and they are just nice, friendly and cool, but how.

The only problem is the space is too small

If I could give 0 stars I would give 0. Unfortunately, it's unfortunate that some waiters can ruin a store's reputation. My boyfriend and I were having a nice date night until one of the waiters pointed out that a certain person and his friends would be sitting at our table. Up to this point, absolutely no problem and also the concept of the restaurant. When the waiter noticed that the number of this particular person was larger than the table had space for, he cheekily asked me and my friend “but you're almost done anyway, aren't you?” It turned out that this particular person is an influencer/YouTuber and so the waiter felt it was right to pressure us “regular” guests to pay so that a person with a certain public status would have enough space at the table. Very disappointing and we definitely won't eat there again :) an experience like this is passed on with heart to friends and family.

NOI has really delicious food to offer. The menu is still a bit small, but there is also a large daily menu, so there is definitely something for everyone. The portions were the perfect size for me and all 7 other people in the group. The waiter is always nice and very accommodating. The small team really does a very good job. The next time I come to Cologne, I'll definitely come by again! By the way: The current operators have only been running the restaurant since August 2024! All bad reviews are no longer true and can be traced back to the predecessor. Unfortunately, card payments are not possible at the moment. But it should go soon!!

Small but nice. The open kitchen really adds to the cozy atmosphere here. The food was absolutely delicious - from the antipasti to the pasta to the pizza. We came here spontaneously and were more than thrilled! The service was super friendly. The price is absolutely right for the quality offered. A great tip for anyone who likes Italian cuisine.

The food is OK but nothing exceptional. I think the portion was really small. I was disappointed that there were no truffle slices on the truffle pasta, just some grated truffle. Overall the food was okay, but I wouldn't go there again. Price-performance ratio and quality do not match.

I'll start with the only thing that works better in my opinion. The (high) chairs are really uncomfortable. For food: Great!!! We had, among other things, the goat cheese pizza and the truffle pasta. Balanced, fine taste. During the preparation you can watch how your delicious food is “conjured up”. Absolute food recommendation! 😃👍🏆

It's my first time in Cologne and I am so happy we found this place! I would come back to Cologne just to eat here again. The atmosphere is very cozy inside and out. George and the whole team were amazing hosts. Their recommendations regarding the food and drinks were spot on 👌 I can recommend the frito misto it's the best seafood dish I have ever eaten anywhere. The pastas were also amazing. I had the aged meat dish, bot sure about the name, since it is out of the regular menu. So ask the stuff about it. For dessert we had the lemon tart and it was out of this world. Keep up the good job guys! I wish you so many more successful years! till next time 🍻

The small Italian restaurant is not only a culinary hit, but also worth a visit because of the fantastic service. Geo particularly impressed us with his warm and authentic manner. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after! The pumpkin soup was a real highlight – simply perfectly seasoned and incredibly tasty. I'd love to come back 😊

This restaurant is only Italian in name - it is better not to comment on the pairing of some dishes (pasta and meat together). That said - the food is very good. They have two young chefs with an open kitchen and each dish is well made and well looked after. The sore points: 1) location: the restaurant is tiny and can't be seen from the photos. Everyone eats together, the diners' voices overlap, the waiters pass by you every 3 seconds and the atmosphere is not relaxing. It's very tight. For those who are fans of these "Parisian" vibes it can also be a plus:) 2) price: totally overpriced, even for Cologne. The quality is good, but you can only find starters for €20-25 in New York. Be prepared to spend at least €50 per person.

I recently went to Restaurant Noi and can only recommend it! The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service was excellent - the waiters were friendly, attentive and gave us the best advice. The furnishings are also modern and stylish, which contributes to the overall picture. We had a fabulous experience. 3 ladies, old friends in a new town, enjoying Cologne. We had wonderful service, our waiter took care of us so well. The food was full of flavour and we devoured everything. The wine was delicious. We were almost the last to leave, feeling like it was a special evening.

A dream! From the first moment we entered we felt welcome, greeted in a super friendly manner by Chef Geo. And then the food… So delicious! Grilled peach with burata to start with and then buttery tender osso buco made the evening something special alongside the ambience and perfect service...😋! I had a fantastic meal at the Noi Restaurant on Antwerpener Straße in Cologne – a clear 11/10! The food was fresh and incredibly tasty. The service was simply great, you feel completely comfortable and lovingly cared for. Even my dog ​​was well looked after - that made the evening perfect. The menu is simply a dream! Absolutely recommended!

As a starter we had, among other things, burrata with rocket and grilled peach (I had never eaten or heard of it) and it was great 👍 The service was also great ☺️very friendly service who responded to all the “special requests” that were requested (we were 5 people) The ambience is also very nice. Service was spectacular. Our waiter went above and beyond to recommend dishes and have a conversation - about a dessert not on their menu nonetheless! Food was good, in general I shy away from pasta, but my wife seems to like it. One of the dishes was a taaaad too salty for me, but chanterelle pasta was a highlight of the trip

Absolutely amazing! Don’t skip on this wonderful gem in the Belgian quarter- Gio and the team had a dream and they’re doing it! We had the octopus and burrata (peach) for appetizers, and the Ossu Buco and Pasta Tartufo for entrees - which were astounding! Wine pairing was on point, and the kind, intimate and welcoming atmosphere was really special- we’re visiting from the US, and the team was so accommodating and lovely to chat with- i can’t recommend Noi enough! Thank you team for such a lovely experience :-)

Outstanding restaurant at Friesenplatz, they served me the best carbonara I had in Cologne. The service is also superb, our waiter Kosta was super friendly and helpful and also Geo, who I believe runs the place, was super humble and serves the food himself most of the time. These people really seem to enjoy what they are doing. Definitely a top recommendation for all the food lovers!

After a long time, the NOI was finally open again. A new, young team recently took over the restaurant. We had vegan dishes that will hardly be found anywhere else in Cologne. Absolutely top quality and freshly prepared before our eyes. The owners were very hospitable. There were very good wines and all the guests were obviously as enthusiastic as we were! I'm really excited about this new option and will definitely be back soon! TOP recommendation!

We were there today for our wedding anniversary. The food was excellent and very well portioned. Price/performance also fits in terms of quality! The recommended wine was also a blast (Primitivo). The service (owner) was always attentive and we lacked nothing! Unfortunately, it's no longer common practice everywhere anymore, which is why we were even more excited about it. Went here for a romantic dinner date with my girlfriend. Had stellar service. Food was impeccable. The octopus plate was fantastic, was our favorite. Was an intimate atmosphere and environment. All the tables are high bars which gives a cool feeling in the restaurant. Very great care and service from the staff.

Even under the new management, the NOI is a real culinary highlight in Cologne. I had the pulpo as a starter and then the osso buco - two dishes that are among my absolute favorites and whose quality I can judge: both were excellent! In contrast to its predecessors, opening times are clearly communicated and you get a quick response to your reservation requests - great, keep it up!
