Authentisch, herzlich, ungezwungen. Wir hatten einen tollen Abend mit Freunden. Angelina hat uns sehr freundlich und herzlich bedient und das essen war ausgezeichnet. Einfaches Ambiente, viele Italiener, sehr gute Qualität!

Einfach ein ganz ganz tolles Restaurant! Wir sind für ein Wochenende in Köln gelandet und waren dort essen...es war soooo schön! Man hat sich sooo willkommen gefühlt und der Service war so herzlich, alles so liebevoll und einfach unglaublich lecker!!! Wir kommen gerne gerne wieder wenn wir das nächste Mal in der Stadt sind! Tolles Lokal. Super Essen. Netter Service

Schönes kleines Lokal mit guten Speisen und äußerst freundlichem Personal. Pasta ist hausgemach (!!!). Da geht man gerne hin!

Ich war heute Abend mit Kollegen (einige davon sind schon gute Freunde) im „Sicula In“ essen. Die Atmosphäre war friedlich und angenehm, voller Lebensfreude und einfach wunderbar. Die Wirtin begrüßte uns mit einem strahlenden Lächeln; sie war schnell, zuvorkommend und entschlossen, aber dennoch freundlich, sodass ich mich fast wie zu Hause fühlte, fast so, als würde meine Mutter mich ermahnen, alles still und ohne Krümel aufzuessen. Die Auswahl an Speisen war fantastisch, mit vielen Tagesgerichten. Reichlich Portionen, hervorragende Zutaten und sehr faire Preise. Der ganze Abend war sehr angenehm, und ich komme ganz bestimmt wieder. Ich überlege sogar schon, beim nächsten Mal die Pizza zu probieren: Die Gesichter der Tischnachbarn ließen vermuten, dass sie gerade das Essen der ewigen Jugend genossen.

Ein phantastisches italienisches Restaurant mit sehr kompetenten und aufmerksamen Service. Die Tageskarten variieren und reagiert auf saisonale Gegebenheiten. Die ruhige Atmosphäre ist für gzte Gespräche bestens geeignet. Die Pasta und der Salat war phantastisch. Unbedingt vorher reswrvieren

Wir waren spontan zu zweit vorbeigekommen und sehr zufrieden mit dem Abend! Essen war toll und hat seh gut geschmeckt: Carbonara und die Bolognese. Dazu gabs sehr aufmerksamen Service! 😊

Die Pasta hat hier wirklich außer ordentlich gut geschmeckt. Hatte eine Carbonara, mit Guancale serviert. Absolut perfekt. Das Restaurant ist klein, es lohnt sich also zu reservieren. Der Service ist klasse, sehr Italiano. So viel leckeres auf der Karte, da war es schwer sich zu entscheiden. Das Panna Cotta hat auch gut geschmeckt

Authentisch sizilianisches Essen

Jedes Mal wurden wir freundlich empfangen. Die Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen bringen ein kleines Stück Italien in den Laden. Alles ist sehr authentisch und das Essen hat eine sehr hohe Qualität und schmeckt super lecker!

Grandioses Essen. Toller Service und Inhaberin mit dem gewissen Touch Humor. Love it. Die Hausgemachten Nudel in Pistazien Suace mit Gambas oder Lachs war ein Träumchen. Gerne wieder. Das einzige was besser geht ist die Musik:)

Sicula In is the perfect little Sicilian restaurant around the corner. It's a place you'll want to go to. The restaurant is cozy, even though it's just been renovated. My favorite thing to come here for is the homemade tagliatelle with prawns in lemon sauce. 🤩 But I can also recommend the pizza. You can always find something delicious on the daily specials menu!

Unfortunately, a huge disappointment. The food is great, but the owner's behavior is completely unprofessional. It's unacceptable to me that she pockets the tips that are meant for the waiters. That's just wrong – respect and fairness towards employees should be a given.

What a lovely place. Friendly people, superb food, homemade pasta, and an exciting selection of dishes. I felt very comfortable. Card payments accepted. I'll definitely be back.

If you love Sicilian cuisine, this is the place for you. The food is excellent! Since space is limited to a small dining room, we recommend making a reservation in advance. The tables are set up right up against the entrance door, so it can get a bit drafty when the door opens. There are always great people there, young and old alike. It's easy to strike up a conversation. At the end of a visit, you'll go home happy and refreshed. By the way, all the pasta is homemade. The pizzas are over the top, and the carbonara is incredibly delicious. The fish and meat are always of the highest quality. Thank you, you're great!

I can't understand the positive reviews. Yesterday, for almost €22, I ate the worst pasta of my life. Ravioli with an unseasoned ricotta filling, served with canned porcini mushrooms and sage butter that didn't taste of sage. No texture... The ravioli were already falling apart, and the spongy, mushy porcini mushrooms were on top. The portions aren't filling either. But in this case, that wasn't a problem.

Mixed bag! This restaurant leaves you a bit unsure. The pre-ordered pizza arrived straight from the pizza oven and was quite tasty. The spaghetti carbonara in the main course looked interesting, in a good way, with the crispy bacon strips draped on top. However, the pasta was lacking in flavor; salt in the pasta water would certainly have helped, and a bit of pecorino and black pepper would also have been beneficial. The flavor came solely from the bacon, which was nice to look at but a bit difficult to portion with just a spoon and fork. The whole thing was fairly priced, however, at €11.50 for the pizza and €13.50 for the spaghetti, hence the rounded-up 3.5 stars.

This Italian restaurant stands out from the typical pasta restaurants. If you're looking for truly homemade pasta, a skilled chef, and Italian flair, Sicula In is the place to go. A top address for pasta lovers in Cologne.

Our favorite Italian restaurant: family-friendly, very good pasta, and the salads with bread and butter are also delicious. It's loud, but you can easily have a conversation with your partner; that's typical Italian flair. Barbara, the owner, is fantastic!

A great, simple Italian, or rather, Sicilian, restaurant on Subbelrather! The sardines on salad for starters were delicious. But the absolute highlight is the spaghetti alla carbonara, the classic dish without cream, but with plenty of egg yolk, pecorino, and mountains of crispy bacon... a killer portion, so delicious, it's almost impossible to finish! Good, reasonably priced Sicilian and other wines are also available. Friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

A Sicilian gem in Ehrenfeld: Sicula. The spaghetti alla carbonara (see photo) is amazing; pasta as it should be, no cream, just egg, simply delicious! Plus, mountains of bacon. Too much, really. The vegetarian pizza was a bit boring. Excellent value for money, a bottle of truly drinkable white wine for under €20...! Friendly service, we'll be back!

I always enjoy going to Sicula In. Great food, fair prices, and very friendly staff. And where else can you get an espresso on the house (every now and then)?

Authentic Italian/Sicilian food and atmosphere! Fun! The pizza is okay, but you can get better ones in Cologne (the crust is a bit tough). So if you go there, you'd better try the handmade pasta.

I just got pizza to take away and it was good.

The service was very friendly, but the food was not good. I had a pasta casserole with Bolognese sauce and gratinated cheese. You could hardly taste the mince, so it only tasted like tomato. The outer noodles were hard and dry. For dessert we ordered tiramisu. It was totally watery and not tasty either. No recommendation.

I'm irritated by the positive reviews. The service was inattentive, which is bad enough. Unfortunately, he was also unfriendly. You were almost sitting on your neighbor's lap. But you still had privacy because you couldn't understand your own words. You had to shout at a companion so you could have a conversation. Noodles were good. Pizza was a disgrace. Salsicia tasted like absolutely nothing. Everything was missing. It's rare that I only eat half of a pizza. All in all, it's a shame. I would have been happy to find a good, tasty and relaxed Italian restaurant in the area.

The pasta was incredibly delicious! The restaurant is small and cute, ambience is relaxed and the staff is friendly. Unfortunately the starter plate wasn't as good as I expected. Still 5/5 because the pasta was more than perfect 🤤

As a now regular guest at Sicula In, I would also like to leave a review. I have known Barbara and her husband and the Sicula In for a long time. With every single visit you can tell that the two of them and their team make an effort to satisfy every single guest. There is a relaxed atmosphere in the small but nice Sicula In and you feel a bit like you are in Italy. Of course, the food is also worth highlighting. This is freshly prepared and tastes delicious every time you visit. In addition, the pasta is made in-house, something you can hardly find in a restaurant these days. Please keep it up! I can only recommend Sicula In to everyone!

Homemade papardelle with salmon was excellent, ravioli with porcini mushrooms, the ricotta could have used a little more spice, otherwise great, wine selection could be improved! A very pleasant evening, thank you!

I had a pizza that was really good.

A little more humanity would be appropriate! I went to the restaurant at 11:45 with my disabled mother, who was in need of care and had difficulty getting up the stairs. The door was already open! We were then told that we had to leave again because it didn't open until 12. We would have just sat there and waited. I was excited to show the Sicula In to my mother, who had just been released from the hospital. Unfortunately, this will no longer happen. It's delicious here, I know that from my previous visit. Very disappointing and sad!

Se volete gustare un'ottima pizza siciliana con un impasto leggero questo è il posto giusto. Si tratta di una pizzeria gestita da un'autentica e simpatica famiglia di licatesi. Come mangiarla in Sicilia, con ingredienti siciliani. Anche la pasta è fatta bene e in porzioni abbondanti. Prezzi modici. Cinque stelle e lode.

Wir waren zu Acht und hatten das Restaurant aufgrund der Bewertung ausgesucht. Man kann das Restaurant nur empfehlen. Sehr nette Bedienung. Das Essen ist sehr gut und es sind auch große Portionen. Unbedingt vorab reservieren.

So I only give it 2 stars because the portion of pasta is far too small for almost 15 euros I think it's really a disgrace these days how stingy all the shops have become when it comes to a few noodles that simply don't cost anything to buy. Then make at least one portion of something that will satisfy an adult. For almost 15 euros it has to be included. The drink bottles are also shrinking to Barbie size everywhere but that's another topic. You want to earn money, all good, but I don't think you'll become poor on pasta

Als mittlerweile regelmäßiger Gast bei Sicula In möchte nun auch ich gerne eine Bewertung abgeben. Schon seit langem kenne ich Barbara und ihrem Mann und das Sicula In. Bei jedem einzelnen Besuch merkt man, dass sich die beiden und ihr Team Mühe geben, um jeden einzelnen Gast zufriedenzustellen. Dabei herrscht eine lockere Atmosphähre im doch recht kleinen aber feinen Sicula In und man fühlt hier sich ein bisschen wie in Italien. Auch das Essen ist natürlich hervorzuheben. Dieses wird frisch zubereitet und schmeckt bei jedem Besuch. Zudem wird die Pasta selbst hergestellt, was man kaum noch heutzutage in einem Restaurant findet. Bitte weiter so! Ich kann nur jedem das Sicula In empfehlen!

Wir hatten vorneweg hausgemachte Pasta mit Lachs und Pistazie, im Anschluss Pizza und Kalbskrone; Alles absolut Top, üppige Portionen, sehr schmackhaft und sehr charmanter Service! Dieses Lokal muss man probiert haben, es kann sicher mit den altbekannten „Edel“ Italienern mithalten!! Hingehen und begeistert werden…

I cannot contribute to the rating of the food, as I would rather not visit the restaurant due to the extremely unfriendly treatment when I tried to reserve a table by phone. As inviting as the website is, the friendliness on the phone speaks a different language. It's not possible to reserve the offer online on the website, so I called at 5:37 p.m., not at peak time when you might turn a blind eye. Talking on the phone is not possible at all! This restaurant has been selected as a local location for me and my circle of friends.

We ordered 3 dishes, paid over 50€... Not the problem. It was -3 and my friend had to wait OUTSIDE until the order was ready. For goodness sakes. That was horrible.. we won't go there again.

We ate there during our visit to Cologne. Small Italian trattoria. The waitresses were all very nice. We had various pasta dishes, all of which were absolutely delicious. I can only warmly recommend this place.

Leider schwer nachgelassen! War mehrfach dort. Egal ob Pizza oder Pasta, war früher alles top. Beim letzten Besuch letzte Woche erneut Pasta mit Lachs bestellt, musste den Lachs mit der Lupe suchen, auf Nachfrage wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass aufgrund der MwSt. Erhöhung gespart werden muss… Schade, das war mein letzter Besuch!

Die Inhaber sorgen für ein super gemütliches, authentisches, italienisches Flair.. :) Der Grillo Weisswein war ok.. für mich bissl zu bittere Note im Abgang.. den Inzolia finde ich angenehmer, mir aber bissl zu lasch.. den Rosé finde ich am rundesten.. :)

Leckeres Essen in einer kleinen aber feinen Location. Wenn es sich ergibt, würde ich dort wieder essen. Der ersten Erfahrung nach würde ich allerdings vorher einen Tisch reservieren.
