Frizzantino degustazione & delights in Köln

Waren heute spontan hier undes war wirklich lecker! Eine durchdachte Auswahl an Gerichten passend zur Jahreszeit. Inbeosnde die Lasagne mit Aubergine und Pistazien hat uns sehr zugesagt. Die Torta della Nonna war der perfekte Abschluss. Servie war wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Insgesamt haben wir uns wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Durch Statusbilder von einem Bekannten inspiriert sind wir spontan ohne Reservierung dorthin gefahren. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und bedient. 'Kein Chi-Chi, keine Etikette'. Dafür bekamen wir verdammt gutes italienisches Essen zu fairen Preisen.

Wir waren in der Gegend und haben nach einem authentischen Pasta Restaurant gesucht. Haben Frizzantino spontan gefunden und es ausprobiert. Die Vorspeise war wirklich der Hammer und die Spritz Auswahl auch. Die Hauptspeise war sehr lecker und die Nudeln perfekt gekocht. Wir sind sehr begeistert und falls wir mal wieder in Köln sind, werden wir dieses Restaurant auf jeden Fall wieder besuchen.

Easy entspanntes Restaurant, speziell Abends in der Sonne. Geile Pasta und vorspeisen. Kleine Karte. Essen war brutal, Inhaber waren freundlich, Stimmung war locker. Überleg nicht. Geh einfach hin - das lohnt sich!

Tolles leckeres Essen, für jeden etwas dabei. Sehr freundliches und höfliches Personal. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Abend. Das Essen war von vorne bis hinten super zubereitet und geschmacklich ein echtes Highlight. Dazu kommt ein tolles, stimmungsvolles Ambiente, in dem man sich sofort wohlfühlt. Der Service war ebenfalls klasse. Absolute Empfehlung!

We spontaneously went to Frizzantino today to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary with a delicious meal. A huge compliment to the chef; the food was absolutely delicious from the appetizer to the dessert. It was a wonderful Italian evening for us. Thank you so much! 😊

We had a delightful evening in a perfect setting. I had by far the best pasta I've had in a restaurant in years. The kitchen here truly knows its craft. However, it was difficult to choose from the fantastic menu, including the daily specials. Everything had that special something that made it stand out. The evening was rounded off by very warm service in a pleasant atmosphere. If I'm ever in Cologne again, this restaurant will definitely be my first choice.

Tonight, a group of five of us went to a real Italian restaurant for the first time in ages! Not your average ristorante/pizzaria, but delicious Italian cuisine. We had antipasti, a main course, dessert, and espresso with wine. The food was full of flavor and clearly a love for cooking. The menu wasn't huge, but the dishes we had were absolutely delicious. The decor was tasteful and clean. The staff was very friendly and experienced. A truly pleasant experience. We highly recommend it – a real culinary delight! 😋 And to finish, we enjoyed a delicious Amaro Montenegro! 🥃

We ate at Frizzantino this evening (January 3, 2025) and it was simply outstanding. They don't just serve typical Italian classics, but offer an exceptionally diverse selection of dishes. Whether it was octopus or bistecca – everything was top-notch in terms of taste and perfectly prepared. You can tell that they work with a lot of passion and a commitment to quality. We were there on Wednesday. Thanks to the nice weather, we were able to sit outside. The staff greeted us warmly and openly, and immediately took care of our drink requests. We ordered the mixed appetizer platter and received bread; it was delicious. For the main course, we had the truffle pasta and vongole pasta; both delicious! The prices are higher, but completely reasonable given the quality of the food. The menu changes regularly, and it's unique Italian cuisine, far from pizza-in-all-varieties. We'd be happy to go back!

This was our third time here: the waiters and waitresses are very friendly, attentive, and cheerful. On our last visit, my meal was swapped, and I wasn't sure if I'd simply ordered the wrong thing. The lovely waitress then brought it up, and I was actually allowed to take the rest of the first meal with me, but I still had the meal I'd ordered (which I shared because I have a small stomach ^^) They were also very happy with the origami I made with my partner's tip, which was very sweet! Great location in Cologne/Mülheim for wine connoisseurs. There is delicious food to please the palate and a great atmosphere in the spacious restaurant. Very nice staff and the boss is always in a good mood and friendly. At the bar you can also meet friendly guests with whom you can have a nice chat.

During our stay at the Stellplatz Köln-Riehl camper site, we decided to walk across on Saturday evening and were the first to come across Frizzantino degustazione & delights. The restaurant immediately looked very cozy, and that was fully confirmed inside. We started with a shared starter: fried eggplant and a pizza with mortadella. A delicious combination and perfect to share between the three of us. As a main course my daughter chose the beetroot ravioli. This surprising vegetarian dish was new to us, beautifully presented and incredibly tasty. My wife and I went for the tagliatelle with ragout. An honest, tasty Italian dish that really surprised us. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. For anyone looking for authentic Italian dishes in Cologne, Frizzantino is definitely recommended. A wonderful place that we look back on with great pleasure!

Yesterday we were at Frizzantino with friends. After the starter it was clear why they are regular guests at Carlo's. The menu is clear and does not correspond to the cliché of an Italian restaurant - i.e. no pizza and spaghetti Bolognese but rather unusual compositions that all turned out to be super tasty. We really enjoyed the good service and the delicious food and would happily go there again if we were in Cologne again.

Very nice service, nice atmosphere, but the food was bad, bruschetta with (little) tomato sauce and mainly gratinated with cheese (that's not a bruschetta), the pasta with prawns and porcini mushrooms was a mush drowned in sauce... I'm not coming back! It's a shame because the atmosphere and the service were so nice

About my experience: Have visited the location many times alone, every dish is convincing. Went there yesterday with a vegetarian companion and everything was fine. At first I was a little worried about vegetarian main courses, I briefly asked the service what was possible and got the answer: "All dishes are also available in vegetarian versions." Fantastic! My favorites after repeated visits: Starters: Pinsa, eggplant chips, insalata de fichi Main courses: orecchiette, bigoli, swordfish fillet Desserts: Panna Cotta, Semifreddo Be sure to try the in-house appetizers and, when it comes to wine, take a look at the unusual, detailed wine list or ask the boss personally. An excellent Italian restaurant established 2022 and located very close to the Rhine. The interior is very inviting with a lot of style. The menue isn't too large which is good, the dishes themselves are well made with some creativity. The wines we picked (Vermentino do Sardegna & Nebbiolo Langhe) were very good and came with a reasonable price. What's unbeatable is the service lead by the owner himself: perfect in any sense. Impressive, we can't wait to return. Salute!
