I had a lahmacun menu today on the recommendation of a colleague, and I was not disappointed in the slightest. I can only recommend eating here to everyone. I travel a lot for work and haven't had such a good kebab in a long time. ❤️

Food was great, service was great, he didnt speak English but still managed to help us! Highly recommend. Sehr gutes Essen ist lecker!

The best kebab with the most amazing garlic sauce :) I always enjoy ordering here – even with my parents. The fries are always really good, even when they deliver, and the kebab has always been delicious and always arrived warm/hot. I highly recommend it! The staff are also really nice :)

One of those special, pleasing, chance events. After a 6 hour journey from Munich to Düsseldorf, 10 hours at the Congress Centre & faced with another 6 hour drive back to Munich, I googled for a Döner place near the autobahn. Golden Döner was at the top of the list and rightly too. What a great Döner it turned out to be: the bread, meat, fresh crispy salad, sauce and above all the fantastically friendly, caring server - truly the best of the best. The price (€7.00 September 2025) was naturally a bonus on top - I need to talk to my Bavarian Döner restaurants! I sat in the car to eat mine, and while doing so a gentleman tapped on my window. It was the owner who wanted to know if I was happy with the food & service! That's truly amazing and the perfect sign that the customer matters here. I have to admit it's appearance from the road is not 'luxurious', it's a street side operation with limited seating, but it's worth going out of your way to experience it. Couldn't rate it more highly and have even given 5* for Atmosphere, as I felt extremely well looked after while I was there. Thank you to the owner & the wonderful server I had.😍

The garlic sauce is truly amazing. I used a dürüm, which reminds me of a yufka. It's got a good amount of flavor and, above all, it's really filling. This is definitely more worth a visit than the McDonald's around the corner. Healthier and still more flavorful!

This was my first time in Cologne, and this kebab shop was recommended to me. It looks rather unassuming, but the taste is absolutely amazing! I ate the first one there and got another to go! The fact is, I'll be back! And I'll be happy to, because the price/performance ratio is right! I'd be happy to come back. By the way, very friendly and honest! I'll be back! Doesn't look like much, but the food is really great! It's fresh, tasty and overall a great place to eat a really good döner. The serving place is not the best, but worth going nonetheless.

We were passing through and stumbled upon Golden Döner by chance. The döner was absolutely outstanding, as were the dürüms. Fresh meat, crisp salad, good sauces (we had cocktail, herb, and spicy), and strong bread. The staff was very friendly, and the prices were absolutely fair. Highly recommended!

No doner kebab, just minced meat skewers. I didn't feel safe or comfortable as a woman because I was asked personal questions in a very persistent way. That was beyond small talk and had nothing to do with the food.

My girlfriend and I were passing through and agreed: we would have loved to take the shop home with us! Doner kebab, vegetarian dürüm and fries absolutely excellent and highly recommended:)

The meat portion is large, the salad selection has shrunk and the red onions unfortunately dominate the overall taste. The bread is still a highlight and the three sauces provide the flavor that the meat unfortunately doesn't have. Now the whole thing falls more into the “you can do it” category. ____ ____ ____ ____ “Here you get the best kebab in Cologne!” At least that was the announcement from the cheerful seller. But what can the kebab do? For €6 you get a reasonably sized portion of kebab meat in a fresh, warm flatbread, along with some iceberg lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and red cabbage. When it comes to sauces, you have the classic choice between herb garlic, cocktail and a hot sauce. All three taste very good together and there is nothing wrong with the kebab itself. So the best kebab in Cologne? In the end, everyone has to decide for themselves. In any case, you get a great alternative to the same old company canteen.

Too little meat, too little salad. The person in charge of preparation cuts and prepares the food immediately after smoking without using gloves. Someone in the field should take a look at it. Price has increased over time and content has decreased by half. For the price, I'd rather eat something else nearby.

Bit disappointed, taste rather dry, meat doesn't taste like a lot but salt. Also the Döner shop owner seemed rather like he doesn't want to serve us

Super tasty kebab 🥙! Very nice service and hot spices from home. I'll come back the next time I visit Cologne. And: credibly reported and clearly noticeable in terms of taste: the sauces are all homemade. The best thing was the hot spice from the operator's homeland. For a stall on the street, every effort was made to make the ambience inviting for guests. There is even seating in front of the sales van.

Unfortunately, the food came about 1 hour and 20 minutes later than stated. Unfortunately, the fries were already limp. The falafel was ok. In some cases the wrong thing was delivered.

If something tastes good then you should consider it and say that it tastes good no matter which restaurant/snack bar. But the kebab I ate for lunch today has been making itself felt since 7 p.m. I'm on the toilet all the time so sorry but I don't recommend it at all.

This is what Döner should be like, properly selected ingredients in a 1:1 meat-vegetable ratio, appropriately spicy and not overflowing with sauce. Great 👌 Worth recommending.

I placed an order again today after a long time. The delivery was very timely. Unfortunately the quality of the “meat” was poor. It appeared that it wasn't fully heated. The consistency was very mushy coupled with a lot of fat/cartilage. The question arises as to whether this is higher quality meat. It's a shame but luckily there are a lot of alternative options in Cologne.

Best kebab I've eaten so far, the meat is very well seasoned, the flatbread is not too dry, nice and crispy even when you get it and start eating 10-15 minutes later. The amount is not too much and not too little, just right.

Ordered there for the first time and never again kebab just cold bread cold and meat even though it wasn't more than 20 minutes ago it was better to go with this money I eat somewhere else I didn't even eat it and had to order somewhere else just never again

Absolutely not recommended, questionable as to how all the positive reviews came about!? My 4 year old son caught food poisoning!!!! In addition, the food was inedible, with fries packed in fat and, to top it off, they were cold and soggy. The driver couldn't even get out of the car and hand over the delivery properly, as it should be. He just stayed in the car and handed the order through the window and took the money and drove away!!
