My first and probably last time. The kebab, the sauces, etc., weren't tasty. The ketchup-based "hot sauce" was too sweet. Ultimately, it's a mass-produced product that, in my opinion, can be found more authentically and better on almost every corner. Still, it's certainly okay for a quick snack.

As in all Mangal branches, there is still a lot of room for improvement when you talk about the ambience. The service could also be a little better and the drink prices are underground. Dear Lukas Podolski, you don't have to give the cola away, but €2.50 for 0.33 liters... plus a deposit! I'm at a loss for words. As always, the kebab tastes excellent, fresh and tasty and the bread is nice and crispy.

The kebab is really extremely strong. Especially the selection of sauces, here you can simply use any sauce, which we can really recommend, when I'm in Cologne again I will definitely come back for a quick kebab!🥙

Every employee is very caring and professional. Doner is delicious and filling. It was well cooked. The sauces are very good. The bread was fresh. On my last day, there was a doner restaurant that I was satisfied with.

If you come to Cologne, do not look for another address for döner. I chose meat and chicken mix and it was perfect. The crusty bread and sauces were great. The sandwich is very good for the price, 7.5 euros. The co-workers were also very friendly.

Top Ayran is on offer. Normal kebab highly recommended. Dürüm is unfortunately more of a disappointment. Very small role with little content. I can't recommend it. Fries are well seasoned but taste like they have been sitting around for a while. Hence mixed feelings after the visit. But I would come back for the kebab.

Unfortunately, the doner meat was almost cold. I ordered a little spicy and tzatziki but I got a lot of spicy with very little tzatziki. The bread was actually the only good thing about the kebab. I hope this was an isolated case, if not then most of the 5 star reviews would be lies.

A very disappointing experience... I was there last Saturday after midnight and the next day I had serious health problems. I'm not surprised because the meat is simply of poor quality. They use old frozen meat from the previous days, you can see them taking out small frozen blocks of döner and throwing them on the grill. It smells terrible, and honestly, I don't know how this place passes health inspections... It's absolutely unhealthy for your stomach. Sauces? Terrible. Portions? Very small. The only thing that is bearable is the bread, but that doesn't make up for the rest. And the staff? Unfriendly and they barely communicate. I am considering writing to the headquarters, because my compatriot Podolski does not deserve such poor quality. I don't recommend it. 🚫👎

Totally bad and absolutely not recommended. The Mangal Döner at Heumarkt in Cologne is a total disappointment. The bread was extremely dry and hard. The taste was absolutely of the lowest quality and it was simply unpleasant to eat. But that wasn't all - the kebab was far too small, especially for the price you pay here. You immediately notice that savings are being made wherever possible. The filling was rather sparse and had little flavor. All in all, I felt like I wasn't really getting anything good for the money. The service wasn't particularly friendly either. I really can't recommend this kebab shop - there are definitely better alternatives in Cologne for what's on offer here. Very disappointing, I can only advise against this store and will definitely not be coming back. 1 star is way too much.

Late in the evening on the way to the hotel I picked up a Poldi Döner and it was really delicious.

Unfortunately, the bread from my many kebab orders were all cold, hard and dry. Some of the vegetables were not fresh. Doner meat was good. Unfortunately the food was cold. Too bad.

We tried the Döner and we really liked it, it was crowded the time we went so the meat was not well grilled, however it was really tasty. We paid 22€ for 2 Döner and 2 drinks.

It would be wrong to compare it with doner kebabs in Turkey. The way it is done and its content is different. Even though I ate chicken, the meat seemed different than the ones in Turkey, more artificial. It tasted good and had plenty of content. The owners were attentive and offered tea as well.
