As always, a culinary and personal delight. Fu is a place to feel at home. The food is fresh and incredibly delicious. The owner is always attentive but never intrusive. Our special requests are fulfilled with a naturalness we've never experienced before. Thank you so much!
Most of what needs to be said has probably already been said:
- Outstanding host (!!!) – it's no wonder they've received awards and recommendations.
- A complimentary appetizer at the beginning, a little something extra at the end.
- Good food & good quality (just a tiny bit of flax in the gyros).
- Good service, excellent advice.
- According to the owner, smaller portions of regular dishes are unfortunately not possible.
- The ambiance has already been mentioned several times. But it must be said that it's quite well done for this location. You certainly can't customize everything to your liking.
Apart from the minor issue with the smaller portions, we generally enjoyed our meal very much. Therefore, a clear recommendation!

At Nigrum in Baden-Baden, everything was truly exceptional. The menu was perfectly composed – each course harmoniously balanced, creatively presented, and precisely executed in flavor. The attentive yet unobtrusive service was particularly impressive, making the evening thoroughly enjoyable. A restaurant that beautifully combines sophistication with warmth. Highly recommended!
First off, the food and service are very good. Some things take a little getting used to, but that's the only way to experience new things. And that's one of the reasons why I appreciate fine dining and am willing to pay above average. However, what I find completely unacceptable is ordering a wine pairing (which the restaurant also calls a beverage pairing) and paying €5 for half a liter of tap water. A 0.1-liter glass of wine starts at €4.40. That's completely disproportionate. Even if the wine were more expensive, it's simply bad form. Like putting a hair in your soup. An annoyance that could be so easily remedied. But perhaps at some point, even a smile from the staff will cost extra. Or is this a way to ensure a portion of the tips?

Und das sagt jemand mit französisch-italienischen Wurzeln 😉 Die Auberginen-Parmigiana ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, und der Rum-Baba zum Nachtisch ist ein wahrer Genuss. Ein Stück Neapel mitten in München!
Wir haben einen wunderbaren Abend im Restaurant Verbene verbracht. Der Service hat die Gerichte und die Weinbegleitung jeweils mit einer kleinen Geschichte präsentiert. In der zwanglosen, angenehmen Atmosphäre haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
