Unser mittlerweile 10. Besuch, und wir sind jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert. Es gibt Restaurants mit hervorragendem Essen. Es gibt Restaurants mit großartigem Service. Und dann gibt es ganz besondere Orte, an denen beides auf eine Weise zusammenkommt, die man nur selten erlebt. Von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute spürt man die Leidenschaft, die Herzlichkeit und die echte Freude, den Gästen etwas Besonderes zu bieten. Jeder einzelne Mitarbeiter trägt dazu bei, dass man sich nicht nur willkommen, sondern wirklich geschätzt fühlt. Was uns immer wieder beeindruckt: Nach jedem Besuch verlassen wir das Restaurant mit dem Gedanken, dass es kaum noch besser werden kann. Und bei unserem nächsten Besuch beweist das Team erneut das Gegenteil. Mit neuen Ideen, liebevollen Details und einer bemerkenswerten Aufmerksamkeit gelingt es immer wieder, selbst langjährige Stammgäste zu überraschen und zu begeistern. In einer Zeit, in der echter Service und gelebte Gastfreundschaft immer seltener werden, ist dieses Restaurant ein leuchtendes Beispiel dafür, wie außergewöhnliche Gastronomie aussehen kann. Das ist einer dieser Orte, die ich bei jedem Konstanzbesuch unbedingt besuchen muss. Es ist schon fast Tradition geworden, und jeder Besuch erinnert mich aufs Neue daran, warum. Ich komme meistens allein hierher, was mir viel Zeit gibt, die Atmosphäre zu genießen und alles um mich herum zu beobachten. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants fühlt man sich herzlich willkommen. Das gesamte Team ist unglaublich freundlich, kompetent und mit Leidenschaft bei der Sache. Man merkt, dass sie ein kleines, perfekt eingespieltes Team sind, das sich gegenseitig mühelos unterstützt. Es ist wirklich eine Freude, ihnen dabei zuzusehen. Das Essen ist außergewöhnlich. Man schmeckt die Qualität der regionalen Zutaten, und jedes Gericht ist kreativ, innovativ und vor allem köstlich. Besonders gefällt mir, dass zu jedem Gang eine Geschichte erzählt wird. Das Team nimmt sich die Zeit, die Zutaten, die Inspiration und die Idee hinter jeder Kreation zu erklären, wodurch jedes Gericht noch besonderer wirkt. Die Weinauswahl ist ebenso beeindruckend, mit durchdachten Empfehlungen, die hervorragend zum Essen passen und das Erlebnis abrunden. Während ich diese Rezension schreibe, sitze ich hier mit einem Glas Wein, genieße die Aussicht, lasse mir ein weiteres fantastisches Essen schmecken und denke mir: Genau deshalb komme ich immer wieder hierher. Falls Sie jemals in Konstanz sind, sollten Sie dieses Restaurant unbedingt besuchen.

Eine sehr schönes Restaurant,für besondere Anlässe gut geeignet, von Außen sehr unscheinbar. Essen ein wirklich gutes Erlebnis, alle sehr nett und jeder Gang wird genau beschrieben, bei Fragen wird gerne auf alles andere eingegangen. Man sollte paar Stunden einplanen wenn man her kommt. Wir haben unsere Hochzeit in der Anglerstuben gefeiert und hätten uns keinen schöneren Ort für diesen besonderen Tag wünschen können. Schon im Vorfeld waren wir begeistert. Nach unserer ersten Anfrage erhielten wir eine persönliche und herzlich formulierte E-Mail, die uns direkt das Gefühl gegeben hat, willkommen und bestens aufgehoben zu sein. Diese Aufmerksamkeit und Herzlichkeit haben uns von Anfang an überzeugt. Auch das Probeessen war hervorragend. Das Essen, der Service und die gesamte Atmosphäre haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen und uns die Sicherheit gegeben, dass wir unsere Hochzeit genau hier feiern möchten. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die Weinbegleitung zum Menü. Und eigentlich ehrlich gesagt alles, was serviert wird. An unserem Hochzeitstag selbst war dann alles einfach perfekt. Das gesamte Team war aufmerksam, professionell und gleichzeitig so herzlich, dass wir uns jederzeit wohlgefühlt haben. Wir konnten unseren Mittag entspannt genießen und uns ganz auf das konzentrieren, was wirklich wichtig war: unsere Hochzeit und unsere Gäste. Von Herzen vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für die wunderbare Begleitung und dafür, dass ihr unseren Tag so besonders gemacht habt. Erstklassig. Wir hatten beide Menüs, zum einen Fisch, zum anderen Fleisch. Beides hervorragend. Top Service, locker, aufmerksam und ausnehmend freundlich. Ambiente einfach, doch sehr gute Atmosphäre und das wichtigste: Absolut empfehlenswerte Küche. Hier sollte eigentlich ein Michelinsternchen ganz hell strahlen.

Was die Anglerstuben wirklich auszeichnet, ist die besondere Atmosphäre: Trotz einfachem Ambiente und gehobener Küche herrscht hier eine warmherzige, fast familiäre Stimmung – ganz ohne die Steifheit, die man manchmal in solchen Restaurants erlebt. Das gesamte Serviceteam ist nicht nur professionell und aufmerksam, sondern gibt einem vom ersten Moment an das herzliche Gefühl, wirklich willkommen zu sein. Dass ich meinen Geburtstag bei und mit diesem wunderbaren Team verbringen durfte, war das absolute Highlight des Abends. Vielen Dank für diesen großartigen Abend – wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Man wird hier hervorragend bedient und das Essen ist absolut lecker. Auf der Terrasse, direkt am rheinufer, lässt es sich hervorragend relaxen. Klasse!!!!

Vorweg, das Essen und Service ist sehr gut. Manches etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber nur so lernt man Neues kennen. Und das ist mit ein Grund warum ich gehobene Küche schätze und auch bereit bin überdurchschnittlich zu zahlen. Was aber für mich gar nicht geht, ist wenn ich eine Weinbegleitung bestelle, die im Lokal auch noch Getränkebegleitung heißt, und für einen halben Liter Leitungswasser 5€ zahle. Ein 0,1 Glas Wein beginnt bei 4,4€. Das steht in keinem Verhältnis. Selbst wenn der Wein teurer wäre. Es ist für mich einfach schlechter Stil. Wie Haare in der Suppe. Ein Ärgernis, das so leicht aus der Welt zu bringen wäre. Aber vielleicht kostet irgendwann auch ein Lächeln des Services extra. Oder soll so ein Teil des Trinkgeldes sichergestellt werden?

We've eaten at the Anglerstuben many times, for lunch and dinner. Yesterday was the first time I wasn't satisfied. I had chosen the vegetarian lunch option: Rigatoni with tomato sauce, which was called peperonata on the menu. Unfortunately, the pasta was either overcooked or kept warm for too long; I'm not sure which. A real shame.

An evening to savor! I had the pleasure of showing my girlfriend this fantastic restaurant – and we had an absolutely perfect evening. The best way to experience Anglerstuben is to simply reserve a table and let yourself be completely surprised. No menu, no decisions to make – just enjoy what the kitchen and service team have in store. The team has an incredible sense of taste, atmosphere, and perfectly paired drinks. Every course was a hit, and you can feel the passion that goes into everything they do. You won't find more laughter and smiles in one evening anywhere else. At first, I was delighted to see some familiar faces. Their recommendation was the goulash, which fortunately turned out to be venison ragût. It tasted fabulous, but it wasn't ragût. It had great flavors and the meat was also very carefully sautéed. A ragôut, but one made slowly from rare, often long-aged cuts, the finest spices, and good wine; it has that 'agoût' quality. Something very rare. But it was absolutely fantastic. I'm just familiar with other worlds, having been around there. 👨‍🎨👨‍🍳👨‍🎓💫

Heute im Anglerheim, durch ein Industriegebiet no one no it!. Fünf Minuten vor 18.00 Uhr im Nirgendwo. Türe zu, Lokation von außen na ja. Punkt 18.00 Uhr Einlaß. Dann ein dreistündiges Feuerwerk der Aromen! Mindestens 1 Stern würdig, lässt man die Äußerlichkeiten beiseite, fulminant, durchdacht, auf den Punkt, zwei unterschiedliche Menüs, im Vergleich zu anderen Lokationen überraschend günstig. Ein Muß für Gourmets in Konstanz, danke.

Looking for a slightly different culinary experience, I came across this initially quite inconspicuous restaurant. A first look at the menu online suggested that this would not be a run-of-the-mill restaurant. Once there, I was irritated by its inconspicuous appearance and briefly thought that I had taken a wrong turn somewhere. But it's worth a closer look. As soon as you walk in you catch a glimpse of the many awards that should give me an idea of ​​what the culinary offerings should be like here. With a beautiful view of the Rhine from the roof terrace, I am now looking forward to the upcoming culinary experience. Another positive thing to mention is that you are not limited to the two predefined menus. You can put together your own 5-course menu from the 10 dishes. The staff is extremely personable and friendly and extremely competent. The individual courses reflect the expertise and attention to detail. The individual dishes are harmonious and well thought out and are a culinary delight. You really notice how much enthusiasm and sensitivity went into this. Each component complements each other and creates a flavor bomb for the palate. The wine accompaniment always offers another suitable component that rounds off the taste experience even further. A lot of emphasis is placed on regional products, which are always excellently produced. All in all, you are offered an experience in which “simple cuisine” is elevated to art. I can only recommend everyone to stop by here when visiting/staying in Konstanz and let your taste buds be pampered.

Das war unser dritter Besuch in der Anglerstube. Leider lässt es immer mehr nach. Die Location und das Personal sind natürlich immer noch top, aber das Essen und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis lassen immer mehr nach. Wir hatten das Anglerstubenmenü für 105,- Euro. -Spargel vom Fred: Lecker aber nix Besonders - Reichenauer Süßkartoffel: ok, nichts Besonderes. Wareneinsatz ca. 3 Euro - Saltimbocca: Sehr lecker, sehr kreativ. Wo bekommt man schon nochmal Bries. Die Kombi war perfekt - Zander: Das schwächste Glied des Menüs, der Fisch war übergart, den Lardo konnte man nicht richtig rausschmecken, hat ein bisschen geschmeckt wie das Schlemmerfilet von Iglo, Krebsschaum lecker, aber nix Besonderes - Rhabarber als Dessert: Sehr lecker, aber Anrichteweise sehr spartanisch. Fazit: Die Zutaten waren sehr einfach und haben höchstens 10% des Preises für das Menü ausgemacht. Auch die Zubereitung war schon mal besser. Für uns war es dieses Mal eher gewöhnlich und das Geld nicht wert. Wir kommen erstmal nicht mehr wieder

A culinary gem with unexpected charm: Fishing parlors in Konstanz. On April 4, 2025, the four of us had the pleasure of dining at the Anglerstuben restaurant on the banks of the Rhine in Konstanz. A place that delights with finesse cuisine, but also surprises with an extraordinary location and architecture - sometimes in a way that might initially make the guest ponder. Cuisine: Regional and masterful. The cuisine in the Anglerstuben is an experience in itself: creativity, local ties and absolute freshness are the focus here. The “Bodensee” and “Anglerstuben” menus, complemented by a delicious fish soup (reminiscent of the southern French mixed and strained soup de poisson), offered us an evening full of tasteful flights of fancy. The attention to detail and emphasis on regional products – often with proof of origin – make the meals not only delicious, but also sustainable. I know some of the suppliers personally because I come from the region. Ambience and Atmosphere: The location of the restaurant directly above a fishing club, between the shipyard and commercial buildings, is unusual and somewhat reminiscent of gastronomic experiences from Sicily. The premises and architecture do not seem to fully harmonize with the great performance of the cuisine and service. It almost feels like a pyramid in the icy desert or Niagara Falls in the Sahara - surprising and perhaps strange at first. But if you're willing to go for it, you'll find a feel-good address in Konstanz that impresses with its upscale warmth and enjoyment, even without a sports car or sailing yacht. Service: Competent and warm. The service was absolutely impeccable - friendly, attentive and with impressive expertise. Every question about wine and food was answered competently, and the small terrace with a view of the Rhine and the boat docks offers an atmospheric ambience. Conclusion: Unexpected and worthwhile. The Anglerstuben are a gastronomic jewel with a certain peculiarity that requires a little adjustment from guests. But once this is accepted, what remains is a restaurant that impresses its guests with excellent cuisine and outstanding service - a visit is definitely recommended! We'll be back.

Wir wurden hier von örtlichen Geschäftsfreunden eingeladen und waren sehr positiv überrascht! Service, Essen und Freundlichkeit sind 1A. Einzig das "Ankommen" wirkte etwas seltsam, da man die Anglerstuben erst "finden" muss. Wir waren uns auch nicht ganz sicher, wo man parken "darf" - da könnte man die Ausschreibung gerade für Ortsfremde verbessern.

The Konstanz restaurant scene is characterized by guests who have too much money and too little knowledge of food or who won't come back anyway (sorry, dear Swiss and Main auto tourists). The completely uncritical reviews in the local newspaper don't help either (sorry, dear Mr. Schuler). In this culinary valley of woe, there has been a ray of hope for a few years now: the fishing parlors. Very good, unpretentious, surprising - once you reach your destination past the gas station, shipyard, dim parking lot and an 80s stairwell that smells subtly of toilet stone. For a good 100 euros (significantly reduced by omitting courses), an excellent, creative, delicious, elegant, flexible (also veggie) and yet real menu at a very high level is served here - by a very nice, competent team. For everyone who is looking for very good and - for what is on offer - unbeatably affordable cuisine, without trying to be cool or chic. Of course, there is also a well-stocked wine list, cloth napkins and amusements - and the chef, who is apparently famous from radio and television, also stops by. In summer, directly on the Rhine on the sunny terrace.

Wieder einmal war ich mit Freunden zu Gast in den Anglerstuben in Konstanz und wir durften uns den kulinarischen Genüssen von Christian und seinem exzellentem Service-Team hingeben. Das Restaurant ist etwas schwer zu finden, aber immer eine Reise wert. Auch wenn die Einrichtung ein wenig puristisch ist, liegt der Schwerpunkt definitiv auf dem phänomenalen Essen. Vom Gruß aus der Küche bis zum Nachtisch mit Vanilleeis mit Kürbiskernöl verfeinert ein wahrer Genuß. Selbst Fisch und Fleischgang im 5 Gänge Menü hatten keinerlei Manko, sondern sorgten für eine vielfältige "Geschmacksexplosion". Es war ein wahrer Genuß.

We were there for dinner, the service was extremely courteous and to the point. The food is very diverse with regional ingredients and beautifully prepared. The individual components of the dishes harmonized perfectly and it was absolutely a taste experience. The chef/owner also kept coming to the table. We can absolutely recommend it and will definitely come back.

Don't let the building put you off, the restaurant on the upper floor is stylishly decorated and has a pleasant atmosphere. The cooking here is excellent.

I ate the fish dish from the lunch menu there in October 2024. The food, wine and ambience were decent. When I left the restaurant, however, one of the waitresses didn't even say goodbye to me as I passed by. The service there can seem pretty smug.

Mein erster, aber mit Sicherheit nicht letzter Besuch in den Anglerstuben fand am Freitag, den 18. Oktober 2024, statt. Obwohl ich unangemeldet und erst nach 21 Uhr eintraf, wurde mir in einer herrlich entspannten Wohlfühlatmosphäre das gesamte Menü serviert. Bereits nach wenigen Minuten begann der Abend mit einem fantastischen, äußerst professionellen und gleichzeitig charmant lockeren Service. Die aufmerksame Betreuung durch den Inhaber, den Küchenchef und die Servicekräfte war geprägt von durchgehend informativen und anregenden Erläuterungen zu den servierten Speisen, was den Genuss zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis machte. Jedes Detail war bis ins Kleinste durchdacht, die Weinbegleitung harmonierte perfekt mit den einzelnen Gängen und sorgte für eine rundum gelungene Kombination. Ich möchte auf die Beschreibung der einzelnen Gänge verzichten, denn alles war von absoluter Spitzenklasse. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die außergewöhnliche Qualität, gepaart mit einem liebevollen, geschmeidigen Service, die man nur selten findet. Das engagierte Team der Anglerstuben begeistert mit seiner familiären Atmosphäre, außergewöhnlichem Ideenreichtum und einer bemerkenswerten Liebe zum Detail. My first, but certainly not last, visit to the Anglerstuben took place on Friday, October 18, 2024. Even though I arrived unannounced and after 9 p.m., the entire menu was served to me in a wonderfully relaxed, feel-good atmosphere. After just a few minutes, the evening began with fantastic, extremely professional and at the same time charmingly relaxed service. The attentive care provided by the owner, the chef and the service staff was characterized by consistently informative and stimulating explanations of the dishes served, which made the enjoyment an unforgettable experience. Every detail was thought out down to the smallest detail, the wine pairing harmonized perfectly with the individual courses and ensured an all-round successful combination. I don't want to describe the individual courses because everything was absolutely top class. Particularly noteworthy is the exceptional quality, coupled with a loving, smooth service that is rarely found. The dedicated Anglerstuben team impresses with its family atmosphere, extraordinary inventiveness and remarkable attention to detail. A look at the wine list is an experience in itself! I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Today we have visited for a business-lunch. Overall I'm very satisfied with the service, food, ambiance etc. We had got the fix lunch menu with salad and fish and it was perfect. Maybe the waiting duration was slightly high between courses but it's not something I'd complain. Also, the price for such food is reasonable. Definitely would try again, especially with our guests in our company.

Hello dear Anglerstuben team, yesterday, October 12th, 2024, I was with you for the first time with friends (7 people in total). At first I was a bit surprised that there were “only” two menus. After the very friendly and competent service staff explained to us that you can mix the individual courses of the menu, I was relieved and we placed our orders. And now it comes. I can only rave about the rest of the evening. The individual courses tasted absolutely great and the portion size was just right. At the end of the meal I felt a pleasant feeling of fullness. The quality of the food was very high and the preparation was perfect. The service staff was absolutely perfect, friendly and also in the mood for fun. The courses were served at exactly the right time, i.e. i.e. the breaks between courses were neither too short nor too long. Special requests were also taken into account without any grumbling or growling. The upscale ambience is also fitting, but it wasn't too exaggerated, but also exuded enough cosiness to feel comfortable without belonging to the circle of millionaires ;-)) And yes, the prices are actually higher than at a snack bar but in my opinion they are reasonable considering that the food is high quality and freshly prepared and the staff are not just any assistants. These are obviously trained specialist staff and they demonstrated this again and again throughout the evening. I can't rave enough and I hope I haven't forgotten anything. Finally, a note to the people who have given substandard reviews here. If you don't have the courage to address your complaints to the staff during or immediately after your meal, then you shouldn't leave anonymous reviews. Especially if the complaints are completely unjustified. If I don't like a meal because it contains foods that I personally don't like, then the quality of the food is not bad and it wasn't prepared poorly, but that is simply your personal taste. Such evaluations aim to assess the quality of the processed food and how well it was processed. And as mentioned, if you have something to complain about, then do so straight away and if you order meat and prefer a particular cooking level, then you should say so when ordering. Thank you once again to the Anglerstuben team for an unforgettable evening and don't let unjustified bad criticism get you down. I'm sure I'll come back. The atmosphere was very pleasant and calm. The fish dishes were really tasty. They were prepared with fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly and attentive. Our orders came quickly. The selection of drinks was also large. I would like to try other dishes on my next visit

We got there on a rainy regular Tuesday night. Non-descriptive location. What a fab surprise. We did not go for full set menu but just a few dishes. Surprisingly new flavors with the Thai bisque and fabulously prepared main dishes. Had never been to Konstantz but this would make the trip worthwhile in itself. Should have a star. Period.

I have deleted my detailed review of my visit to this restaurant because I am unsure about the way in which I respond to the objectively and constructively formulated criticism with requests for improvement, which, by the way, have been addressed here several times by guests and not just by me still very good overall rating, I was annoyed. Here the guest obviously has to be clairvoyant, and the few points of criticism that have been expressed but that one obviously doesn't want to hear would, according to the owner, not have arisen in the first place if the guest had just asked about everything. However, there was no information about this on the menu or verbally from the service. As I said, unfortunately I don't have a crystal ball. The answer also distorts some things that definitely didn't work out that way. I see a certain arrogance here, which I reject in all areas of my life and especially as a guest, who in this case pays dearly. I won't go to the fishing parlors anymore.

As always, the food is very tasty and, above all, there is a new menu every week. Today delicious goulash with spaetzle.

Great seats by the water, we were served absolutely nicely and pleasantly. And the food was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Star level in Konstanz! An absolute recommendation!

The location is more of an insider tip, as it is somewhat hidden. If you are lucky enough to be able to sit on the terrace when the weather is good, you have a wonderful view over the harbor and the Rhine. The food is delicious and the service is excellent! Four of us had different dishes and were very satisfied! This was definitely not our last visit!

An all-round successful evening. When we arrived, we were initially unsure whether this inconspicuous building actually houses such a highly rated restaurant. But when we entered the restaurant we were surprised by a very beautifully decorated room. Lots of space, lovingly placed details and a wonderful view of the harbor. An extremely warm welcome followed. We each chose one of the two 5-course menus (see photos) that were on offer. When it came to the wine selection, which included many German wines, we received an excellent recommendation: Knipser Cuvée X 2019. The individual courses were prepared with a lot of love and tasted fantastic. The service was warm and extremely competent. In short: the journey from Zurich was worth it. We definitely weren't here for the last time!

Nothing more is possible. Top food, top wines, top service, great ambience and great people who work there. Thank you for the wonderful evening. Will definitely come back and can only recommend this restaurant to everyone.

Klare Empfehlung! Schöner Blick aufs Wasser, am Abend fast schon romantisch (die Yachthalle nebenan fällt dann nicht so auf). Achtung: Zufahrt und Eingangsbereich kaum beleuchtet - Sturzgefahr! Korrekte und aufmerksame Bedienung. Alle Menü-Gänge raffiniert komponiert und mit Bedacht zubereitet. Der Weißwein genau richtig temperiert, jedoch mit Verve mehrmals neben das Glas getrült. Salz (vor allem beim Gruß aus der Küche sowie bei den Maultaschen), Schärfegrad und Zitrusnoten drängten sich ungehörig in den Vordergrund. Der Fisch leider von fast schon homöopathischer "Größe". Trotzdem ein erfreulicher Abend abseits vom Mainstream.

Location mitten im Industriegebiet am Ufer. Auf der ersten Etage von einem Klubhaus, mit herrlicher Terrasse mit Blick aufs Wasser. Terrasse schön hergerichtet und Tische schön eingedeckt. Es gab 2 Menüs zur Wahl und eine riesige Weinkarte mit deutschen Weinen. Die einzelnen Gänge waren geschmacklich sehr fein und kreativ, den empfohlenen Wein passte hervorragend zu dem Menü. Der Umweg hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Es war alles Top. Wir kommen garantiert wieder wenn wir in Konstanz sind.

Clear recommendation! Beautiful view of the water, almost romantic in the evening (the yacht hall next door is not so noticeable). Attention: The driveway and entrance area are barely lit - risk of falling! Correct and attentive service. All menu courses are cleverly composed and prepared with care. The white wine was at just the right temperature, but poured over the glass several times with verve. The salt (especially in the greeting from the kitchen and in the Maultaschen), level of spiciness and citrus notes were clearly too offensive. Unfortunately the fish is almost homeopathic in size. Still an enjoyable evening away from the mainstream.

Wie schon oft beschrieben, muss man hier hinwollen, denn das Restaurant ist etwas versteckt uns äußerlich unscheinbar. Aber von der Innenstadt kann man sehr schön an der Seerheinpromenade entlang spazieren bis fast zum Restaurant. Direkt am Seerhein gelegen mit toller Terrasse und Seeblick. Das Essen ist fantastisch, ausgezeichnetes Handwerk gepaart mit viel Kreativität. Die Karte ist saisonal und es gibt immer wieder Neues zu entdecken. Und vor allem: immer lecker! Professioneller aufmerksamer und freundlicher Service. Alle Weine sind mit Sachverstand ausgesucht. Wer Spaß und Interesse an gehobener Küche hat in lockerer Atmosphäre der ist hier richtig. Unbedingt reservieren, auch zum Mittagessen oft ausgebucht. Wenn wir als Konstanzer essen gehen, dann hier!
