Die Speisen waren einfach nur Spitze, die Soßen nicht zu übertreffen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis mega fair. Alle Mitarbeiter/innen super nett und angenehm locker drauf. So etwas würde ich einen Vorzeigebetrieb nennen 😌 Und nein, ich habe da keine Beteiligung oder Anteile. Es ist einfach rundum nur sehr gut dort 😌

Wir sind ohne Reservierung mit 6 Personen gekommen wurden freundlich empfangen. Personal war sehr freundlich Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Auf unserer Rückreise aus Italien waren wir abends in Konstanz und beschlossen, dieses Restaurant auszuprobieren. Das Essen, der Service und die Atmosphäre in diesem freundlichen, traditionellen deutschen Restaurant (deutsche Küche) in der Konstanzer Innenstadt waren hervorragend. Ich hatte den „kleinen Salat“, Wiener Schnitzel, Spargel mit Sauce Hollandaise und Bratkartoffeln. Mein Bruder bestellte Räucherlachs mit Käsespätzle. Ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen, falls Sie mal in Konstanz sind.

Schnell und große Portionen. Das Ambiente war angenehm. Ansonsten war alles fade und enttäuschend (Service, Essen). Der Egli-Fisch war ungenießbar.

Sehr leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedienung. Man sitzt sehr schön auf dem Platz vor dem Münster. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Kaffee war gut. Allerdings wird am Service gespart. Haben nach dreimaliger Bestellung keine Karte erhalten. Wir wollten dann gehen , allerdings war bezahlen auch nur mit Wartezeit möglich. Schade aber es gibt ja noch andere Gastronomie an Ort.

Die Bedienung war freundlich und fragte zwischendurch nach, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Ich hatte Schweinegulasch; das Fleisch war zart, und auch die Knödel und die Soße waren sehr lecker.

Wir waren zu viert am Samstag Abend. Service war anfangs etwas holprig, aber sehr freundlich und charmant. Bei der Bestellung ist etwas schiefgegangen, aber der Kellner (Chef?) hat es ohne Diskussion geregelt. Das war wirklich klasse! Unglaublich freundlich 😊. Das Essen sehr lecker, wir haben es alle zusammen bekommen. Die Schnitzel heiß und knusprig. Wir dachten erst, die Portionen sind zu groß, aber wir haben es alle geschafft! Nur weil es so lecker geschmeckt hat! Der „Chef“ ist auf Zack und wirklich sehr freundlich! Wir können diese Restaurant nur empfehlen. 5 Sterne +++ von uns.

Es war ein tolles Erlebnis, wir waren zu sechst, alle Gerichte entsprachen unseren Erwartungen sowohl in Qualität als auch in Quantität, die Preise waren angemessen.

Ich bin nicht zum ersten Mal hier und es war immer ein schönes Erlebnis. Dieses Mal gab es jedoch einen neuen (anscheinend) Souschef. Ein älterer Kellner kommandierte seine Kollegen auf die unhöflichste Art und Weise herum, auch gegenüber den Gästen. Seine lauten, unhöflichen Bemerkungen gegenüber den Kollegen und dem Barkeeper sorgten für eine angespannte und unfreundliche Atmosphäre. Wenn ich das nächste Mal komme, werde ich vorher nachsehen, ob er nicht da ist, bevor ich hineingehe. Schade, denn das Essen ist gut und die Kellner sind im Allgemeinen sehr nett.

O holdes Haus der Speis und des Tranks, welch gar wundersame Freude ward mir zuteil, als ich Eure Schwelle überschritt! Gar freundlich empfing mich das Gesinde, voll Eifer und Zuvorkommenheit, so dass mein Herz sogleich erwärmet ward. Die Tafelei, wohl gedecket und von lieblichem Lichte erhellt, lud ein zu fröhlichem Schmaus und geselliger Rast. Die Speisen, frisch und kräftig, schmeckten wie aus den Händen der Götter selbst. Besonders das gebratene Fleisch, zart wie Sommerwind, und die süße Nachspeise, ein Labsal für die Seele, seien hier rühmend genannt. Ein jeglicher, der Wohlgeschmack und gastliche Herzlichkeit sucht, dem sei dieses Haus wärmstens empfohlen. Möge Fortuna stets Euer Dach behüten und Eure Tische reichlich segnen

Auf der Suche nach einem authentischen und leckeren Abendessen sind wir hier gelandet und wir waren begeistert! Tolle Location, aufmerksamer und superfreundlicher Kellner, liebe Grüße an Lenny :) Außerdem haben wir schon lange nicht mehr so lecker gegessen. Das Wort „Café“ hat mich zunächst ein bisschen irritiert, zum Glück aber nicht genug, um nicht hineinzugehen. Immer wieder gerne! Und ich schreibe wirklich selten eine Bewertung .

Der hausgemachte Kuchen ist top - ich hatte Käse-Mohn. Und der Café Crema war auch richtig gut. Und beides zu echt fairen Preisen. Komme sehr gerne wieder! Freundlicher und schneller Service!

Essen wirklich fast schon ekelhaft (Zwiebelrostbraten mit selbst gemachten Spätzle (anscheinend)). Im Restaurant hat es unangenehm gerochen. Bedingung (eine Frau) super unangenehm! Hat auf eine Frage zum Essen laut gelacht also wirklich unprofessionell. Nie wieder!

Es war sehr voll am Wochenende, dadurch etwas ungemütlich. Aber der Service war schnell und das Essen war fantastisch, habe lange nicht mehr so gute Gans mit Kartoffelklössen und Rotkohl gegessen. Sehr sehr lecker. Werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Geburtstagsfeier. Das Hirschgulasch war hervorragend, dazu gab es leckere Biere und Weine. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. Unsere Kellnerin Kaia war bezaubernd und half uns bei der Auswahl der Speisekarte. Wir waren ein dreisprachiger Tisch, und sie nahm unsere Bestellung problemlos auf. Wir genossen die typischen Gerichte und kommen gerne wieder.

Die Weihnachtsgans - ein Gedicht! Unser Schwager hatte die Idee, dort zu Essen. "Cafe" Münsterhof? Restaurant? Essen gehen? Nu, gesagt, getan. Köstlich! Für uns alle vier. Drei Mal super leckere Gans mit aromatischem (statt nur sauren) Blaukraut, Maronen, Preiselbeeren und der tollsten Sauce jemals ("ever" sagt man heutzutage)! Und die Portion - besser eine weitere Hose anziehen. Joghurt-Knoblauch-Salatdressing an dem großen Salatteller ebenfalls Traum. Der Service: pronto, freundlich, klasse. Einer hinter der Theke, einer an den Tischen. Hier kann man Organisation, Freundlichkeit, Geschwindigkeit live erleben. Kannten wir nicht. Haben mehrere weitere vielversprechende Gerichte auf der Karte entdeckt. Hier werden wir in Kürze wieder sein. (Da lohnt sich auch die 50-Minuten-Anreise!)

Despite being a lunchtime and not having reserved a table, a lovely waitress found us a table for 2. Staff were very attentive and pleasant despite it being busy. Food was lovely and the portion size of the cake was definitely up my street 😋 Great experience. Loved it.

The Münsterhof saved our evening! After our disappointment on the same street, we wanted to satisfy our hunger and discovered this cozy restaurant with its pleasant and very friendly staff. Our meal was pure delight, the portions were generous, and the value for money was excellent. We'd love to go back :-) This restaurant belongs to the category: "If you go there, you'll go home happy."

Rarely eaten so delicious and down-to-earth

This week we visited their lunch menu for the first time. And we'll be back. You can choose between soup or salad, and both were generously sized. The two daily specials were beautifully presented and delicious. The service was also very good, and all for €12.90, a very fair price.

On a day trip to Konstanz, I stumbled upon the Münstereifel region while looking for a restaurant. The various daily specials were a good sign for me that the food here is unique and fresh. I opted for an autumn classic, a Schlachtplatte (meat platter). The Filderkraut was very aromatic and, like the mashed potatoes, perfectly seasoned. The pork belly was very aromatic and perfectly complemented the excellent blood sausage and liver sausage. At the next table, people had opted for Maultaschen (swabian ravioli) with chanterelle mushrooms and pumpkin soup; both dishes looked very appealing. If you're looking for a restaurant in Konstanz with unique, seasonal cuisine, this is the place to be.

Highly recommended! We were at the Münsterhof at 11:30 a.m. during the week, when they still had a very small lunch menu. The food was absolutely delicious. I was particularly impressed by the cauliflower soup as a starter for the lunch menu! The staff are very attentive and friendly.

I've been a guest here for quite some time, so I have to get this out there now... The quality of the cuisine is outstanding for home-style cooking. The dishes are harmoniously balanced and flavorful. Sauces and soups are clearly still created with a long-simmered stock as a base. The goulash soup deserves special mention, which I believe is unparalleled anywhere in the world. It's addictive! The beef is as tender as butter, the color is an invitingly rich wine red, the texture is beautifully creamy, and the taste will make your nose do somersaults. Accompanied by delicious, moist, and crispy bread from a local baker. Wow! Undoubtedly, the heritage of German culinary art is upheld here not only with the finest ingredients but also with great passion. A small, modest star in the often bleak culinary landscape. I bow to so much sympathetically presented skill. I would, of course, gladly return.

Delicious goulash and an excellent cold beer, served with attention and courtesy right under the city's beautiful cathedral... what more could you ask for? Reasonable prices. Highly recommended. ❤️

We ate at this restaurant on August 29, 2025, and had a wonderful time! The two waitresses were both very kind and professional, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The dishes were delicious, well-presented, and the portions were truly generous. A big thank you to the entire team for their welcome and quality work; we will be happy to return!

The ambiance in front of the cathedral is very nice, but full of wasps, especially in August. The salad had a lot of vinegar, which you have to like, but it's okay. The Cordon Bleu tasted like dish soap, which two people at the table enjoyed. I sent it back. The kitchen tried it but didn't detect any dish soap taste, so they charged the full price and offered only an espresso as compensation. You can do it, but it's not really professional, and you'll leave satisfied as a guest. There are certainly better options.

It was a great meal and a wonderful atmosphere. I had roulades, which were a generous portion and incredibly tasty. The waiter was very nice, even though we arrived very late, but he made it possible for us to still get something to eat, thank you for that. Highly recommended.

We were there for the first time yesterday. We're always on the lookout for good, home-style, regional food or German cuisine nearby. Here, the exterior ambiance immediately appealed to us. We weren't disappointed. 🤩 The service was good and fast. There was always a server within visible reach.😊 The menu is simply designed, but perfectly adequate. The selection invites you to come back. I consider the prices reasonable to inexpensive for a German restaurant in the old town area of ​​Konstanz. We were hungry for sausage salad. The portion was nice and large. It tasted great. Can't fault it. I would like to point out, though, that there were two of us. 2 sausage salads and we got 3 (?) half slices of bread?🤔 Since I was more interested in the salad than the bread, it didn't bother me. Still, we were surprised. Also, I'm used to the idea that you get salt and pepper shakers at your table. However, they were brought to us promptly upon request. We'll definitely be coming more often from now on.

Super delicious spaghetti with scampi, two kinds of fish, vegetables, chilies, and chili oil. Very well seasoned, the spaghetti was cooked to perfection, and everything went together perfectly. The slight spiciness from the chilies and chili oil was perfect. I would order it again anytime. The excellent meal was rounded out by friendly service and the pleasant ambiance outside the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Last weekend, during a mental trip to Konstanz, we sat outside at the Münsterhof twice. Once in the afternoon, we treated ourselves to an Aperol Spritz, and the other time for dinner. The service was very good, friendly, and quick each time. The food was also quite tasty. The space itself isn't that nice, and every table wobbles due to the cobblestones. However, some tables should be replaced; they're damaged.

We've eaten here several times, and the food has always been excellent! Friendly service and top-quality food. The schnitzel from Halle pork and the roast beef with onions are particularly highly recommended!

We were tempted to stop by and glance at the daily specials as we walked by. The service was friendly and cheerful, the food was very good, and the price/performance ratio was absolutely reasonable. We had Maultaschen (swabian pasta) with spinach and a salad with zander. We'd be happy to return.

Although there were 4 of us, 3 meals were served, we had to wait another ten minutes for the 4th person to receive their meal, then as soon as our plates were finished and although some glasses were not emptied the waitress cleared away, practically threw us out and didn't even ask if we wanted dessert, coffee..... Even when the glass bottom shatters with a clanging bang, the noble drink falls down in a cool gush and mercilessly eats into the guest's clothing - embarrassed, horrified, dripping with shame - he experiences no emotion of compassion. No hurried staff, no hasty apology, not even a look of pity. Instead, all he is left with is the cold ignorance of the moment as the mishap unfolds like an inevitable tragedy.

The goose was excellent! The restaurant was cozy but very cold, as the door mechanism was always very slow to close, which was impractical in winter.
