It was a wonderful evening, with very good food and very friendly service. The price was very good and we can only warmly recommend the restaurant in the middle of Konstanz.

A nice cafe with the cathedral view from the outside tables. The wait was pretty long, and the waiters are "specialised" - if you want to order, you need to wait for the one who takes orders. The choice isn't big: two "dishes of the day" + about 4 main dishes.

Unfortunately the food is one of the worst I've had in a long time. “Homemade spaetzle” are clearly ready-made spaetzle. Overall very bad experience. If you want good German food, you'd better go somewhere else.

We waited for 10-15 minutes until someone came. Unfortunately we were ignored several times by the waitress. Got up and left. Just sad, the cafe wasn't even full.

A few days ago the three of us had dinner and it was very tasty. The portions are okay and the price/performance ratio is excellent for the lovely outdoor seating right in front of the cathedral. The range of dishes is varied. We particularly recommend the Dinnele, a type of tarte flambée, freshly prepared. Changes to supplements are possible. The Münsterhof restaurant is located in the heart of Konstanz's old town, right next to the imposing Konstanz Minster. During our visit we decided to enjoy the pleasant late summer atmosphere outside. The Münsterhof's outdoor dining area offers a beautiful view of the Münster and the hustle and bustle on Münsterplatz, which makes the ambience particularly charming and inviting. For our dinner we chose two classics of regional cuisine: Baden and Swiss sausage salad. Both dishes were served quickly. The Baden sausage salad came in a generous portion and consisted of fine strips of Lyon sausage. The dish was rounded off with crunchy onion rings and a thinly sliced ​​pickle. The marinade was perfectly balanced: a harmonious balance of vinegar and oil that gave the salad a pleasant acidity and lightness. What was particularly pleasing was that the kitchen did not use Maggi as an ingredient in both dishes. The Swiss sausage salad offered a combination of fine Lyon sausage and cheese strips. However, the use of freshly cut, spicy Emmental cheese would improve the taste. The slightly spicy onion rings and subtle marinade complemented the dish and made it savory with the cheese strips. Both salads were served with slices of bread, which went well with the spicy and juicy components of the dishes. At the end we drank Aperol Spritz. We would have liked these to have been served in stemware rather than in normal drinking glasses and for longer drinking tubes to have been used. The service at the Münsterhof was friendly and unobtrusive. The atmosphere outside made our stay particularly pleasant.

Very good price-performance ratio. Unbeatable, especially at lunch. High quality food. Great outdoor area at the cathedral. Newly renovated inside. Service sometimes not in a good mood. But you can overlook that.

The ambience at the cathedral is very inviting, although we must also emphasize that the restaurant does not rest on its location like so many restaurateurs do. Special shows itself with friendliness, good and fast service and incredibly delicious food. The side salad is plentiful, fresh and varied, the beef bourguignon was tender, intense but balanced in taste and the potato gratin was simply on point - in terms of taste and consistency. Thanks for the great experience. Great value for money! A small point of criticism on my part, I would like to clear the toilet of the cobwebs and their associated inhabitants 😉.

We ended up in the restaurant by chance in the afternoon after a long bike ride. So I can only recommend it, the spaghetti for €19 with around 10 large shrimps was awesome and the Maultaschen with chanterelles were also very tasty. The other dishes from the guests next to us were also plentiful and, as we noticed, also very tasty . The service was very quick and friendly. We will definitely come back next time we visit Konstanz. Tip top 🤗

Nice location on Münsterplatz - nice atmosphere - but the service leaves a lot to be desired. After we had paid, but not yet drunk, a group of 6 stood and waited for our table - the service person came to us - once you have paid, you can also leave - something like that doesn't work.

We had a lovely visit with very tasty Maultaschen (I would have loved to order seconds) and Dünle. The young waiter was also very nice.

Super tasty lunch menu in the middle of Münsterplatz at a great price.

I was here in Konstanz with my mother and happened to be here and grabbed a free spot. The daily menu was very appealing and the prices were great! We had a salad with pike perch and perch and a spaghetti with pike perch fillets and tomato shrimp sauce plate and everything tasted fantastic. Great value for money and the space in front of the cathedral is also very inviting. Can recommend it to everyone 👍

Absolute recommendation. Went here spontaneously for dinner and felt like we were transported straight back to our youth. Baden-Swabian classics like Mama's, only better. Ate the goulash and the roulades and were in seventh heaven. The portions were large, perfectly prepared and absolutely fair in price!

Ready meals at restaurant prices. The “homemade” spaetzle comes from Aldi. The service is ok but the food is not worth the money.

Wait more than 20 minutes to pay because the staff is not there

When we visited the restaurant, everything was absolutely perfect. We were served immediately by the friendly staff and the delicious dishes came to the table quickly. The attentive service was always present and recognized our wishes before we even had to express them. The quality of the food was excellent and everyone at the table enjoyed it. All in all a perfect restaurant visit that we would recommend at any time!

Just to eat and drink. Nothing special, but ok.

I had a Flammenkueche with bacon, €11.50. Not very cooked, especially in the middle but charred burnt edges, a bit of a shame about cooking. Otherwise pretty good. Paid water. Location in the sun on the terrace.

Restaurant: Café Münsterhof Location: Constance Evaluation: I visited the Café Münsterhof in Konstanz and tried the Maultaschen with gravy and spinach from the daily menu, which is also valid on Sunday evenings. The combination was a good idea and tasted very successful. Fresh bread was also served. The dish cost 13.50 euros, which I found to be a good value price. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit.

Delicious food and fair prices at lunch. Large side salad and a good location right next to the cathedral. But the star deduction is for the rude, unfriendly waitress...

So at the beginning the waitress was a bit lost, probably her first day, but the onion roast with the homemade spaetzle was more than worth it! 6/5 stars for the Mighty Roast!

We were there for coffee, there was a stressed staff behind the counter preparing the drinks, a stressed one who was doing everything right outside on the square and an assistant who was there to clear up and distribute orders. A great achievement for what these 2 employees achieve there. And in the women's toilet, the dusty tecTop would have to be removed from the window sill. Good luck

While looking for a place to have dinner, we ended up in the Münsterhof by chance - an exceptionally delicious coincidence, as it turned out. The asparagus cream soup as a starter was a real highlight, and I have never eaten the cheese spaetzle that followed better. The portion sizes were very generous. The waiter was extremely friendly and accommodating and also had a few tips for our further stay. The price-performance ratio was more than reasonable. Any time!

We had tasty yummy Flammkuchen but unfortunately the order was misplaced in the kitchen and we had quite a wait for our food but....the waiters were really service professionals! Couldn't have apologised more and we were treated to a lovely Schnaps of our choice on the house! Well done lads and keep up the good work!

I've been to this restaurant several times, especially because of the tarte flambée with minced meat. I've always been very happy with the food, service and staff. I've already been disappointed today, the spaetzle was very unappetizing, no color and no taste. My wife fried two kinds of fish But it wasn't fried and it had no taste. Sauce was thin, Ameds was a total disappointment in everything, it's a shame

Small cozy cafe/restaurant. There were 6 of us on Sunday lunchtime. It was very crowded and narrow. Staff very hardworking and quick. The food was visually appealing and very tasty. Together we paid almost 100.00 euros

During Corona time I wanted to work as a restaurant manager but a man named Diego insulted me and insulted me, the entire team had alcohol problems but the boss was the best in Konstanz

After something went wrong with my order, I was served the right food without any problem and was also offered coffee and schnapps. Everything was done right. And the roast with spaetzle was excellent.

Sehr gemütlich und das Essen war sehr lecker.

Ich war sehr überrascht über das kleine Cafe. Es sind vielleicht nur ca. 30 Sitzplätze aber das Essen und dafür das es als Café geführt wird ist wirklich sehr gut Die Portionen sind normal und passen absolut zu den Preisen. Vom Hirschgulasch mit Rotkraut über Pasta, Flammkuchen, käsespätzle bis zu einem Feldsalat Teller ist die Auswahl sehr Vielfältig und wir hatten jeder unterschiedliche Essen und es ist ein stimmig das wirklich jedes Essen vom anrichten bis zum Geschmack absolut stimmig und wirklich sehr gut ist. Gerade in einer Touristen Hochburg wie Konstanz habe ich nicht erwartet eine so Leidenschaftliche Küche zu finden. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Café hat auch von Mittags bis in den Abend durchgängig geöffnet aber es empfiehlt sich wirklich den Tisch zu reservieren da das Café sehr hoch frequentiert ist (zumindest an dem Tag wo wir da waren). Wir werden wieder vorbei schauen, hier ist es sehr empfehlenswert! Fast vergessen es gibt auch Kuchen nur waren wir leider satt vom essen das kein probieren mehr möglich war aber die hier angebotenen Kuchen sahen wirklich sehr lecker aus und ich bin mir sicher das sie wie beim essen genauso gut geschmeckt hätten!

Durchschnittliches Café, aber dafür vernünftiger Preis.

Sehr freundliche, fixe und gastfreundliche Bedienung. Das Essen kommt ein bisschen zu schnell. Ich hatte das Schnitzel mit Spätzle bestellt, dies war nach nicht mal 10 min. am Tisch. Da ist nicht davon auszugehen, dass es aus der Pfanne kommt. Ansonsten alles prima, ich würde wieder dort zum Essen gehen.

Nach einem Besuch im Münster unserer lieben Frau haben wir uns nach draußen zum Cafe Münsterhof gesetzt. Die Lage ist traumhaft und man hat einen wunderbaren Blick auf das Münster und das Straßenleben. Der Service ist etwas unglücklich aufgeteilt, da offenbar nur eine Kraft die Bestellung aufnimmt und somit es hier schon stockt, während eine Kollegin nur die Tische abräumte und oft Pause hatte, weil grade nichts zu tun war. Nach etwas längerer Wartezeit (ca. 45 Minuten) waren Flammkuchen und Maultaschen am Platz. Der Flammkuchen war randlich leider etwas angebrannt, ansonsten aber lecker. Die Maultaschen sind ebenfalls gut gewesen. Insgesamt durchaus einen Besuch wert.

Der Münsterhof gehört zu unserem Lieblingsrestaurant ,wenn wir in Konstanz unseren Urlaub verbringen. Wir sind sehr glücklich,wenn wir unter den sonnengeschützten Riesenschirmen ,neben dem Münster unseren Platz aussuchen können. Das sehr freundliche , fleißige Personal ist zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.Vielen Dank.!!!! Besonders begeistert sind wir vom Mittagsmenü mit den erfrischenden Salaten und von den gut belegten , abwechslungsreichen Dünnerli. Nicht zu toppen ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis . Hier schmeckt es bis zum letzten Bissen und man wird satt. Die Apfel,-Birnen Schorle zum Essen ist sehr lecker. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen. Bleibt gesund und munter.

Leckere Rouladen mit Rotkohl - fast wie von Oma.

Wir waren heute Abend im Münsterhof beim Essen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr gut und wurde auch schnell nach der Bestellung serviert. Wir hatten ein Dünnerle Serranoschinken und ein Schweineschnitzel Wiener Art. Das Restaurant ist sehr zu empfehlen, die Lage am Kirchplatz ist auch sehr schön.

Essen ist lecker, Service ist mega ka...Wir müßte sehr lange warten bis jemand zu uns kommt. Dann würde falsche berichten serviert. Kellnerin hat mega schlecht deutsch gesprochen. Wußte nicht Inhalt von Gericht. Können auf unsere Frage nicht antworten. Am Schluß würde bei uns Gericht doppelt kassiert..

Wir waren heute hier essen nach einer Stadtführung und einem Tip. Ich kann es jedem nur empfehlen. Wir saßen draußen vor dem Münster im Schatten der Sonnenschirme und genossen geniales Essen. Die freundlichen, lustigen, aber aufmerksamen und zuvorkommenden Servicemitarbeiter, kann ich nur loben. Aber auch ein großes Lob an die Küche. Bitte weiter so, beim nächsten Besuch in Konstanz ist der Münsterhof Pflicht. Nochmals danke für den Service.
