I have the impression that a good kebab near the station is rare. Not having much time, I took what was at hand. Unfortunately, I came across an average one. Dürum with cheese – the size was OK, but there was little meat and the cheese and sauces were not impressive. I probably won't come back again.
We have been regular customers at Zara for many years but unfortunately today you only get cold food and soggy rolls. Thanks Zara, that's it...I'm going somewhere else
The radio should be turned down a little to make it easier for orders to be taken. 😅 The kebab tastes very good. The meat is made from veal, which I like more anyway. The salad is nice and crunchy and fresh. It's clean there too and there is an outdoor area to enjoy the food. Thank you Mr. Dönermann. 🌹
Anyone who grew up in Kalkar knows and loves the Golden Horn. The shop used to be always full, and for good reason: the kebab was simply great - juicy, well-seasoned meat, a delicious sauce and full to the brim. It was a little more expensive than the competition back then, but it was worth every cent.
Unfortunately, the kebab today no longer comes close to the old quality. The meat no longer tastes as intense, the sauce has lost its former character, and for the current price you simply don't get enough taste and quality. Every now and then there are still moments when the kebab reminds you of the glorious past - but that is the exception.
It's a shame, because the Golden Horn was once a real insider tip. Anyone who knows the kebab from back then will often be disappointed today. Maybe the store will find its way back to its former strength - until then it will be occasional visits, more out of nostalgia than conviction.
Conclusion: Once a highlight, today it's just average. 3/5 stars for the reminder.
Generally delicious, BUT the staff hasn't been competent for years. Either the food is cold, or distracted, or "everything's ordered via Lieferando" 🤡 embarrassing!
Nice owner, tastes good if you like something from the wood grill, I can recommend the Turkish pizza with salad and sauce, delicious. In general, the pizzas there are delicious.
So yesterday we ate there with friends, everyone had stomachaches and vomiting. I even got a stomachache at one location and will never buy food there again. It tastes good but I get diarrhea and all my friends also have
I once went to Hatay Grill, and I must say I was very disappointed. The hygiene is completely inadequate. The staff who prepare the food touch the food directly with their hands, which is simply unhygienic and destroys any trust in the food's preparation.
A particularly disgusting incident occurred when a customer dropped a coin into the avocado sauce used for doner kebabs. The coin was simply removed, but the sauce was not changed; it continued to be used—which is completely unacceptable. It's unclear who touched the coin beforehand, which makes the whole thing even more unpleasant.
The food itself was also disappointing. The fries were cold, the doner meat didn't taste fresh, and the portions were too small. When I politely asked for more fries or more chicken, I was treated disrespectfully.
Given the poor hygiene and the poor quality of the food, I cannot recommend Hatay Grill at all. I would give this restaurant 0 stars.
Very good pommels, good kebab, pizza unfortunately too greasy, always fresh flatbread, service always friendly, clean shop, cozy seating area. Always happy to go there :)
So let's be honest, your one colleague there, the slightly thicker one with the gel hair and beard, should please leave my best friend alone. He harasses her all the time and has even gotten physical with her, even last night when she was on the way home and had to pass by. I've often noticed how he looked at her and made comments about her body. That's just disgusting. Get your staff under control! If a woman says no, you accept it and don't pressure her anymore. I'll never go there again!!
