Small snack bar with barely any seating inside. The food is okay and freshly prepared. Beer is only available in non-alcoholic form. Portions are rather small, and the prices are rather high for a snack bar.

A very small restaurant with very good food! It's best to make a reservation just in case. The hostess is super friendly, explains everything, and accommodates your requests. Overall, it feels very family-friendly ("just take glasses if you want"). There's a lot of vegan and vegetarian food, or variations of various dishes. Drinks are self-service from the refrigerator.

I come here to eat at least once a week, and I noticed a customer who wasn't so happy with the service... So, for those who haven't figured it out yet, the boss practically runs the place single-handedly. So don't be surprised if it says "self-service," which is also stated on the menu. If you want to eat here, it's best to make a reservation, pre-order, or bring some time, as all dishes are handmade and freshly prepared, AND ALL BY A SINGLE PERSON. Then the things I read here really make me angry, because I know how much effort the nice lady puts in and how lovingly she always prepares everything. "A cup of hot water with two slices of lemon for 4.50 was the highlight for me..." Then don't drink tea in SUMMER if you don't have a clue... people... You also think that fresh pieces of ginger are cheap, and I thought you also pay for the effort and service. Okay, let's calm down... For all of you who aren't Karens, I can highly recommend LAO SAVANN. Authentic Lao cuisine, a lovely little spot in Wimpfen's old town, and a very pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. I don't need to say anything about the food, see for yourself 👍

I was there a week ago. I found the portions small and overpriced, the seasoning bland. And a cup of hot water with two lemon slices for €4.50 was the icing on the cake for me...

Great food, unfortunately you are expected to understand their „system“. You have to order yourself inside - the husband/person sitting in the restaurant could have come out and consulted on the menu. So going inside to order, there is a sign on the wall €14.50 3H Papaya salad. Shame on me for not knowing if you don’t say 3 H you get a dinky side salad. I would have given this a one star if not for my friends. Funny they didn’t have to say 3H or anything special so beyond me how this works.

The friendship plate for two was delicious, with fresh papaya salad, fried noodles, spring rolls, and samosas. The price was perfectly reasonable. The seating is nice and quiet outside. It's self-service and cash only, but still highly recommended.

We often pass through Bad Wimpfen on a road trip. This time the restaurants were still open so we decided to eat out and found Lao Savann. The food is tasty and delivered quickly and the agave drink is something I did not know before. The shop is small and run by the owner who is a very sweet and welcoming person so we immediately had a good time while discovering new flavors on the terrace.

I happened to pass by this Laotian takeaway/restaurant. A bit inconspicuous from the outside (because it was autumn, the outside seating was already put together), cozy, Asian inside. The super friendly boss took the time to explain the dishes to me - the menu is clear but varied! - and recommended as not all dishes are available every day. The order is then freshly prepared straight away. It was very very tasty! So delicious that I went there again the next day. No glutamate overload, just fresh herbs and ingredients. All dishes are available as vegetarian/vegan versions with tofu or vegetables. The prices are fair. On Wednesdays we had Laotian pannacotta as a dessert with the pho soup. Delicious.

Were there for the first time today, the owner is so incredibly friendly and nice and gave great advice when it came to the food! On Monday and Tuesday there is a slightly smaller menu, and from Wednesday onwards the full menu. Our food was really delicious and came quickly, respect because the owner ran the place herself today. Really top and clear recommendation, will come again

We came across the small Asian corner shop by chance. It is by far the best regional Asian food. We were thrilled. It was freshly prepared. The owner pointed out that you can select in advance by phone to reduce waiting times. We will definitely be regulars.

The food was great. Actually, there are only two dishes to choose from on Wednesdays, but after a moment's thought, the very, very hospitable owner put together a plate that was almost like it was on the menu. The craft she practices in the extremely small kitchen is remarkable. Lovely again! The Mango Sticky Rice (No.22) was highly recommended.

Wow, pretty inconspicuous from the outside. But when the food was on the table I was super surprised. Not the usual cheap spring rolls. Everything we ordered was great.

Asia-Imbiss, so putzig wie der ganze Ort, man sitzt draußen wirklich ganz gemütlich. Einige der wenigen verfügbaren Gerichte sind am Samstag nicht verfügbar, da bleibt fast zwangsläufig nur der Griff zu den vegetarischen/veganen Gerichten. Gar keine schlechte Wahl: die Samosa-Teigtaschen sind super, die Ingwerreissuppe ist unspektakulär, aber trotzdem ganz gut. Glasnudelsalat dann immerhin mit Hähnchen - Geschmack Spitzenklasse. Aber alles sehr überschaubare Portionen.

Zudem wurden drei verschiedene Möglichkeiten zum scharf Nachwürzen angeboten. Bei schönem Wetter ist es möglich draußen zu sitzen. Gesamtwertung: super ♡ bitte bleibt so ♡ Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Das kleine Restaurant hat ein wunderschönes gemütliches Ambiente mit extrem gutem Essen. Die Besitzerin ist super freundlich und macht das mit Herz. Wir kommen schnellstmöglich wieder weil es einfach sooo etwas besonderes ist.

Das beste asiatisches Essen, dass ich je hatte. Egal was ich bis jetzt dort gegessen habe es war alles perfekt einfach perfekt. Der Imbiss hat ein besonderes Ambiente schnuckeliger Laden in der Altstadt von Bad Wimpfen. Bitte geht nicht daran vorbei. Die Chefin macht alles selbst und auf Bestellung das heißt du hast die Möglichkeit individuell auch was zu ändern das finde ich klasse. Definitiv bin ich bald dort wieder. Wird kein Asia-Imbiss mehr betreten von mir weil das ist alles nur für Europa gemacht ich will originalgetreue asiatische Küche mit guten Zutaten.

Wie an meinen Bildern zu sehen ist, gehe ich unendlich gerne zu Pär essen. Alle Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet, daher schmecken sie auch am allerbesten, wenn sie direkt vor Ort verzehrt werden. Die Inhaberin ist sehr freundlich und großzügig, es ist sehr sauber und Preis-Leistung stimmt. Am liebsten esse ich den Freundschaftsteller für 2 mit verschiedenen Spezialitäten & frischem Papayasalat. Für wen es nicht um "Luxus" geht, sondern um Geschmack - der ist genau richtig bei ihr. Die Auswahl an veganen Gerichten ist sehr groß.

Das Essen hier war hervorragend. Top gewürzt. Auf jeden Fall mal vorbeischauen!

Bei einem Spaziergang durch die Altstadt von Bad Wimpfen, ist mir diese kleine Imbiss sofort aufgefallen, leider war er noch geschlossen. Die Betreiberin war jedoch vor Ort und hat mich freundlicherweise trotzdessen eintreten lassen. Der kleine Laden ist von innen sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und es fühlt sich beim Betreten sofort nach Urlaub an. Nachdem ich mir eine kleine Beratung habe geben lassen, habe ich mir zwei kleinere Gerichte zum Mitnehmen mitgenommen. Die Wartezeit wurde mit einem leckeren Ingwertee versüßt. Beide Gerichte waren außerordentlich lecker und ich kann jedem empfehlen, dort einmal etwas zu essen und einen leckeren Tee zu trinken. Vielen Dank!

Sind ganz spontan rein. Da es beim anderen Asiaten im Bad Wimpern voll war. Wir haben es nicht bereut. Das Essen war sehr lecker, alles frisch und sehr authentisch. Mega lecker!!! Hätten gerne noch den Nachtisch probiert, waren aber so satt von Vorspeise (Wrap und Papayasalat) und Hauptgericht (gelbes Curry und gebratene Nudeln).
