Ein absolut tolles Restaurant. Der Service ist himmlisch und wird nur von dem wunderbaren Essen noch in den Schatten gestellt. Das allerbeste indische Essen der Pfalz, und dazu noch in klimatisierten Räumlichkeiten.

Wir waren gestern da… 70 € bezahlt und nicht satt geworden…!!! Auf ein Punkt gebracht, viel zu teuer für die Ware die man erhält…!!! Die Hauptspeisen sind ohne Beilagen!!! Ein kleines Töpfchen Reis, fast genauso groß wie das Töpfchen Hauptspeise…!!! Wenn man fragt ob man noch ein wenig Reis bekommt, ja natürlich für 4,50€ …!!! Alles zu wenig im Bezug Preis-Leistung… einmal und nie wieder…!!!

Mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Neustadt. Das Essen ist köstlich. Der Service ist genau nach meinem Geschmack: freundlich und entspannt.

Geschmacklich immer noch sehr gut. Leider kein Gruß aus der Küche mehr, Portionen deutlich kleiner, Preise deutlich höher. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht mehr. Sehr schade, wir waren früher gerne hier.

So einen Service gibt es nur noch sehr selten - offen, freundlich, serviceorientiert, kompetent - großen Respekt dafür! Das Essen war auch lecker (probiert den Möhren-Nachtisch!) und das Besondere ist, dass man sich die Currys nach Geschmack zusammenstellen kann - inkl. ausführlichem Schärfegrad (unbedingt probieren) Alles zusammen endlich mal wieder ein indisches Restaurant, das den Namen verdient Weiter so und bis zum nächsten Mal

Sehr freundlicher Empfang und sehr hilfsbereiter Service. Es wird über die Speisen informiert. Das Essen war äußerst lecker 😋. Ein Gruss aus der Küche..stimmt schon mal auf ds was kommt ein. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Im ruhigen Ortsteil Winzingen findet man das kleine, familiengeführte Indische Restaurant. Die Karte ist bewusst übersichtlich gehalten und bietet eine schöne Auswahl indischer Spezialitäten. Wir waren durch die Bank super zufrieden, sowohl von dem ausgewogenen Angebot als auch von dem zuvorkommenden und herzlichen Service. Neben den leckeren Tandoories und den in verschiedenen Schörfegraden angebotenen Curries hat es uns die ausgesprochen leckere Joghurtsauce angetan.

Tolles Indisches Restaurant wir waren schon öfter dort und sind jedesmal sehr zufrieden vom Service bis zum Essen nur zu empfehlen.Freuen uns schon auf das nächsten Besuch

Schon ein paar Tage her, das wir mit den Mädels einen schönen Abend dort verbrachten, aber ich muss einfach mal eine gute Bewertung da lassen. Das Essen ist einfach immer perfekt👌🏼 meeega lecker gewürzt und zu allen Fragen gabs immer eine nette Antwort vom Personal oder der Chefin persönlich. Die Wartezeit wird mit einem kulinarischem Gruß aus der Küche überbrückt😍 Es ist hier immer gemütlich und eine tolle Geschmackliche Reise in die indische Küche. ( nicht jeder in der Umgebung ist so gut😉) Mein absolutes highlight ist ihre eigene Art der Raita, die voll meinen Geschmack trifft und einfach zu jedem Gericht passt. Absolute Empfehlung hier zu Essen... am Besten mit Reservierung.

Toll, toll, toll - auch für Veganer!

Seit Jahren unser Lieblings lokal wenn es um Indische Küche geht. Die Geschäftsführung ist sehr zuvorkommend und mit Eintritt in das Lokal herrsch direkt eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Das Speisen haben seit Jahren den gleichen Qualitätsstandard Standort ohne Abweichung oder Änderung und das Personal gibt uns immer das Gefühl willkommen zu sein. Wer qualitative Küche für angemessenes Geld in familiärer Atmosphäre genießen möchte sollte dem eher unscheinbaren Maharaja einen Versuch geben. Beste Grüße und weiterhin viel hungrige Kundschaft !

An Indian buffet is offered for festive occasions. A lunch menu is available during the week. The mango lassi was very good. The lamb korma was also very good. The service was friendly and attentive.

Delicious food. Very friendly owners. Fresh ingredients. Clean. We're regulars. Update: The menu has been updated/expanded. Now there's even more choice (including vegetarian options!) (also lactose-free & gluten-free). The new dishes are also incredibly delicious. 5 stars now with a little bonus star. 😉

The food was somewhat uninspired, assembled from pre-cooked components. The room was beautifully decorated, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of 1001 Nights. The service was attentive.

A very nice, quiet restaurant. The two of us easily got a seat (without a reservation). Larger groups should make a reservation, as it gets very busy. We sat outside, which is lovely in the summer. It was incredibly delicious! Great service, no long waits, generous portions, and a good price. For us, it was the best Indian restaurant we've ever been to, and we'll definitely be back! I recommend a dirty soda to drink. ^^

Hervorragende Indische Küche, Inhabergeführt und super freundlich. Wir sind seit Jahren hier Stammgast und kennen kein besseres Indisches Restaurant weit und breit. Sehr gute und bekömmliche Speisen (Lamm, Geflügel, … und vegetarisch) jeweils in verschiedenen Schärfegraden von mild bis spicy. KEINE Geschmacksverstärker.

Excellent Indian cuisine, owner-managed and super friendly. We've been regulars here for years and can't think of a better Indian restaurant anywhere. Very good and wholesome dishes (lamb, poultry, ... and vegetarian), each with varying degrees of spiciness from mild to spicy. No added flavor enhancers.

I love Indian food, so I've eaten Indian food in many different restaurants. However, the Maharaja Restaurant in Neustadt is by far the best Indian food I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying! You can tell that the owners use the best possible ingredients to prepare their dishes, and you can also taste the love and care that goes into preparing the dishes. I highly recommend eating here.

After much deliberation, I've decided to leave a review here! We had to ask for our water three times, which only arrived after our meal. Unfortunately, the waiter gave an unprofessional response like, "We had to order and pick up the water first, so it's taking longer for us!" Unfortunately, I can't understand all the positive reviews regarding the quality of the food! The taste is far from Indian. There are much better Indian restaurants. My recommendation is Bad Dürkheim. We went there twice, and both times we were extremely disappointed!

I wanted to report on Maharaja Neustadt - Indian Specialties Restaurant. Absolute recommendation! Everything except naan bread and samosas is gluten-free. If you have celiac disease, they pay particular attention to contamination. If you have any questions, everything will be explained. There are also special dishes for children, such as nuggets with chickpea flour.

We had the meal of the day. Portions are very small, you leave the store hungry. The taste is also not convincing. Plates were cold. According to the Mineral Water Ordinance, mineral water may not be brought open to the table. The Bad Dürkheim food inspection department is responsible for this. Unfortunately not for us.

Must Go! Hidden gem! Lust for life, pure culinary delight. Family businesses have become rare in our small town. The Maharaja is a very likeable, friendly, helpful family team. Mom and dad, like daughter and son, work together in a relaxed harmony, giving me the feeling of sitting in their living room as a welcome guest in the middle of their warm family. At the same time, I am reminded of my trips to Asia by oriental background sounds with one culinary delight after another, sipping iced tea - I wallow in dreams while the bill arrives. Price performance is absolutely good, so I'm happy to tip. Once a week I let myself be pampered there with Indian food, and every time I enter I look forward to not only the smile of the Daniel family as a greeting, Namaste

Service was very good! Indian dishes were spicy but not over the top! The memory card was a bit very large and therefore a bit confusing! Still recommended!

I went there for the first time on a recommendation and I wasn't disappointed. The food was super tasty. I had the chicken with a mild cream curry sauce. Just right for me. Chicken was super tender and the sauce was incredibly delicious. There were three of us and the portion of rice we got was absolutely enough for us. Service was also very nice and was happy to answer our questions. Exactly how it should be. All in all a successful evening.

Besuch aufgrund Empfehlung. Das kleine Lokal vermittelt einen freundlichen Eindruck. Zu dritt wurden wir höflich und freundlich bedient, ohne Wartezeiten. Beim ersten Besuch wählten wir nach Karte, beim zweiten Besuch das Buffet-Angebot. Angesichts der Empfehlung nahmen wir eine weite Anreise in Kauf. Rückschauend würden wir das nicht wiederholen, weil das Angebot insgesamt zu teuer und letztlich nicht überzeugend ist. Die Speisen waren zwar gut zubereitet und, was wir befürchtet hatten, nicht überwürzt und stattdessen gut bekömmlich. Das Fleisch (Huhn, Rind, Lamm) war allerdings qualitativ nicht überzeugend, weil insgesamt zu zäh. Die Garnelen waren zweitklassig und angetrocknet. Der zweite Besuch mit Buffet-Angebot war enttäuschend, weil das Buffet äußerst knapp war hinsichtlich Auswahl und Menge. Dagegen sind die Preise, vor allem für Pfalz-Weine der Region, viel zu hoch. Deswegen werden wir nicht wiederkommen.

Wir haben unser Hochzeitsessen mittags auf der Terrasse des Indischen Restaurants Maharaja in Neustadt genossen und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Auswahl und der Geschmack der Speisen waren hervorragend, besonders das Chicken Tikka Everest hat uns überzeugt. Der Service war sehr freundlich und professionell, und das gemütliche Ambiente hat zur entspannten Atmosphäre beigetragen. Preislich war alles absolut in Ordnung. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Besuch – wir kommen gerne wieder.

The dishes my companions looked delicious. I was hoping for something light and summery with a pakora salad, but ended up with a fusion dish that didn't match up front or back.
