Asanke at Joe's – A true piece of Ghana in the heart of the city! The four of us visited Asanke at Joe's yesterday, and I have to say: It was a real highlight! The service was excellent, very warm and authentic; we felt welcome from the very first moment. The food was fantastic, authentic Ghanaian and simply delicious, almost like home. You can tell that the food is cooked with love and tradition. The atmosphere was lively and exuberant, with good music, a great vibe, and super friendly people; you just felt at home. A very special thank you goes to Adjoa, who welcomed us. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, someone who truly represents the restaurant with heart. People like that make all the difference! I highly recommend Asanke at Joe's to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Ghanaian food. A real insider tip, thumbs up!

Nice presentation, but too spicy 🌶️! be careful if you are not used to pepper. It was my first time trying out the Gana’s cosine, I couldn’t really get the taste of the food, but perhaps I don’t understand about their recipes.

You can't really call it a restaurant, about 9 square meters, counter and 2 tables. Plantains were fried in old fat, not tasty, and there was only palm drink and cola to drink. Abacha was quite tasty but nothing special. Was a bit shocked. I was in Nigeria a year ago and it was like sitting alone in a dining room. I can't recommend this restaurant for anyone who isn't used to something like this. It's a shame, it could be very nice if wanted

Storytime - Review!!! I took my wife to eat here for a evening so we could try out some african food. We always saw it on TikTok and wanted to visit this place due to its good ratings - and let me tell you the food was delicious!!! The staff is super friendly and ready to help (we needed to charge both of our dead phones and they took them without hesitating) cleaned us a table we desired to sit at even though it was just two of us and the food was done in a really fast fashion. We ordered Fufu and Rice with beans and beef, both extremely delicious but I can especially recommend the Fufu with Tomato. When we finished eating a lady explained to us what fufu was made of, thanking her for her service and gave a generous tip. All in all we can both recommend this beautiful place and will definitely come back if we visit Bremen again. (I sadly dont have photos because our phones were dead)

Tasty delicious African cousin at its peak. You can get nkwobi, isi ewu to say the least. The down side is that there is always a long wait before orders are delivered, especially if you want to get isi ewu. The place is also usually stuffy, the crowd that visits here is always bigger than the space they have, so if you are allergic to congested atmosphere, avoid visiting on Sunday night.

Great music and awesome Cameroonian food. The grilled tilapia (fish) was really really nice.

We were there yesterday and unfortunately the menu is currently small, but our food was fantastic and the plantain starter was delicious.

The Madiba Afrika in Mainz is one of our favorite restaurants. Whether you eat there in a cozy atmosphere or bring the food home well packaged and eat it there, it is always worth a visit. The food is really of the highest quality. And the price-performance ratio is also A1. I'm definitely a good eater, but the Ethiopian platter for 5 people would easily have fed 6-7 people. Always my pleasure.
