Das Essen war super lecker! Hat genau wie bei meiner nigerianischen Tante zu Hause geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren sehr groß und die Preise waren echt total fein. Auch der Service war sehr aufmerksam und lieb. Auf jeden Fall eine riesen Empfehlung!!!

WOW Fufu und beide veganen Soßen waren sensationell🤪

Ich habe Fufu zum ersten Mal gegessen und weiß jetzt schon, dass es so schmecken muss. Sehr gutes Essen, Gott sei Dank konnte ich mich persönlich beim Koch bedanken. 🫶🏻

Didi Pa Special ist das beste afrikanische Restaurant in Berlin. Das Essen dort war super, die Atmosphäre toll, alles sehr sauber und freundlich. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Nachdem ich mehrere Kilometer zu diesem Restaurant gefahren war, bestellte ich Speisen im Wert von etwa 23 Euro. Zu meiner Überraschung teilte mir eine sehr unhöfliche und respektlose Kellnerin mit, dass ich erst ab einem Bestellwert von 30 Euro mit Karte zahlen könne. Ich fragte höflich nach dem Grund für diese Regelung, erhielt aber statt einer klaren Erklärung lediglich die Anweisung, ich solle „den Inhaber fragen“. Diese Antwort empfand ich als äußerst unprofessionell und abweisend. Als Kunde erwarte ich meiner Meinung nach einen zuvorkommenden Service und transparente Kommunikation, insbesondere bei Zahlungsbedingungen. Selbst wenn ein Mindestbetrag für Kartenzahlungen erforderlich ist, sollte dieser im Voraus online klar angegeben werden. Unerwartete Einschränkungen in Kombination mit schlechtem Kundenservice führen zu einem sehr enttäuschenden Erlebnis. Ich unterstütze grundsätzlich kleine Unternehmen und verstehe, dass sie mitunter vor betrieblichen Herausforderungen stehen. Der respektvolle Umgang mit Kunden sollte jedoch immer oberste Priorität haben. Meiner Meinung nach tragen Unternehmen, die die Öffentlichkeit bedienen, die Verantwortung, ihre Richtlinien klar zu kommunizieren und Anliegen professionell zu bearbeiten. Leider kann ich dieses Restaurant aufgrund dieser Erfahrung nicht weiterempfehlen.

Super leckeres ghanaisches Essen in entspannter Atmosphäre. Das Fufu ist mit Abstand das beste, das ich je in Berlin gegessen habe, und das Malzbier passt hervorragend zu allem. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Ich war schon einmal hier gewesen und so unfassbar begeistert, hab’s vielen empfohlen. Bar Bezahlung geht und Kartenzahlung ab 30€ In dem Laden gibt es Halal Fleisch mit Zertifikat ❤️ Heute war ich das erste Mal mit meinem Mann hier essen und wir haben uns Fufu mit Erdnuss soup und Okra soup bestellt. Beides war super lecker 😋 das Fleisch war perfekt zart und die soups genau richtig gewürzt. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und haben uns auch toll beraten. Ich empfehle jeden hier her zu kommen, wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder ❤️ much love to your business!

Dieser Ort hat meinen Heißhunger auf ein Gericht gestillt, das ich noch nie zuvor gegessen hatte. Ich wollte schon länger Fufu probieren und bin froh, dass ich es hier endlich probieren konnte. Es war köstlich! Ich hatte Fufu mit Okrasuppe und Rindfleisch. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich es aber mit Hühnchen bestellen, einfach weil ich so neidisch auf das Hühnchen meiner Freundin war.

Ich habe zum ersten Mal westafrikanische Küche probiert. Es war sehr lecker. 😋 Ich weiß gar nicht mehr, was ich bestellt habe, aber alles war köstlich.

Sehr leckeres Essen! Fufu mit Soße kommt in sehr großen Portionen. Red red ist eher klein. Es gibt eine Auswahl an westafrikanischen Getränken und manchmal auch Bofrot. Die Preise sind gut, der Service nett. Allerdings ist die Einrichtung nicht so gemütlich.

Der Laden hat eine schöne Auswahl an Gerichten für mein veganen bekannten war auch viel dabei nur leider gibt es eine leichte Sprach Blockade da der Mitarbeiter überwiegend englisch sprechen kann. preis ist gut für die menge die aufgetischt wird

Der Jollof-Reis schmeckte hart, nicht frisch und nur nach Tomaten. Die Erdnusssuppe war auch nicht besonders sättigend, aber wärmend.

Sehr günstig und wirklich lecker, aber das Essen ist SEHR SCHARF. Muss man mögen. Von der Atmosphäre her wie ein Imbiss. Also aufs Klo geht man besser woanders. SEHR VIELE vegane Gerichte zur Auswahl. Das ist auf jeden Fall ein Pluspunkt.

ich schreibe ja sonst keine rezensionen, aber.. < 3 wir hatten beef kebab, fried yam mit pepper, fufu und banku mit groundnutsoup und peppersoup mit beef und es war köstlich! i craved it paaaa and was not disappointed. auch super lieb, bringt etwas zeit mit, ghana style, u will not be disappointed oh! ❤️

Das Fufu war ausgezeichnet! Die Soße auch, alles war perfekt, bis auf die Tür, die sich ständig von selbst öffnete. Ansonsten aber keine Beanstandungen! Ein perfekter Ort, um gutes Essen zu entdecken (wiederzuentdecken)! Achtung: Kartenzahlung ist nicht möglich! Und der Manager spricht kein Deutsch!

Ein charmantes ghanaisches Restaurant in einem kulturell lebendigen Berliner Stadtteil, das durchweg leckere Gerichte serviert. Da es recht klein ist, eignet es sich für größere Gruppen eher nicht, und besonders am Wochenende ist es oft voll. Der Service ist jedoch sehr freundlich, und ich gehe immer wieder gerne hierher oder bringe meine Freunde mit.

Wir waren schon mehrmals dort und das Essen war immer super! Die Bedienung ist auch sehr nett :))

My boyfriend and I received a super warm welcome. We ordered in a relaxed atmosphere. Chill music was playing in the background. The food was absolutely delicious! Spicy, but good :) The waiter was also very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

The food was absolutely delicious!!! If you're unfamiliar with West African cuisine, do some research beforehand to find out what's on your plate. The owner didn't seem particularly pleased to have us as guests and served us rather unenthusiastically, offering no advice whatsoever. He also didn't speak German. The restaurant is small and quite cold inside. Reservations are recommended. The restaurant is very popular due to its excellent food!

Small but excellent. Only 6 tables inside, but it's worth the wait. Orders arrive very quickly, and the selection is fantastic. Typical Ghanaian food; if you want to try a bit more, order the mixed platter, which can be ordered with chicken. You'll definitely leave satisfied. We love coming here.

They overcharged 12 Euros (47 instead of 35). We had to wait forever for the plantaines (they came when we were basically leaving). Not going there again.

The shop is small and simple, and the employees were very friendly and helped me with my selection. We had fufu with peanut sauce and banku with okra sauce, both of which were delicious. I would come back to try other dishes. By the way, you can only pay with cash.

Unfortunately, it was rather disappointing… the food was okay, the service was practically nonexistent, the dishes didn't arrive at the same time, and the entrance door to the restaurant was constantly open even though customers were sitting inside wearing winter jackets. A bit of friendliness and attentiveness would do the place good.

We were overcharged, €8 overcharged, which I didn't realize until I was already outside. €40 for two fufu and one drink. That's completely unacceptable, and something like that simply shouldn't happen. Furthermore, the beef was so incredibly tough that I didn't eat any of it. They also got a tip from me, which, in retrospect, is unjustified when they simply demand an amount that isn't right. Be careful how much you pay and what the dishes actually cost.

I've been to DidiPa several times and was satisfied – but this time it was really bad. The waitress was incredibly unfriendly. I barely had a few perfectly normal questions about the menu when he just said, annoyed, "I'll be back in five minutes once you've decided." – but I just wanted to understand something, not spend ages thinking about it. When I asked again, he pretended I didn't understand the menu and seriously asked me if I understood English. I was completely stunned! I've rarely experienced such disrespect – FYI: I'm a foreign language correspondent and speak four languages, one of which is English. :) The food was good, as always, but after this experience, I honestly had no appetite. When you're treated like that, you simply lose the desire to go back.

We ate here today (September 27th) and we really enjoyed it. We had fufu with peanut soup. The meat was very juicy, the fufu was delicious, and the portions were large and tasty. What's also particularly nice is that everything is very clean and there's a good selection of drinks for everyone. The food isn't too spicy, so it's perfect for those who are sensitive to spicy food. The staff are very nice and friendly. It's definitely worth a visit!

Dirty place, unclean plates and glasses, staff not welcoming. I felt like I wasn’t welcome at all. I’m from Canada and just moved to Berlin for my studies, and I wanted to try a new restaurant and discover new flavors. Instead, I had an unpleasant experience, and to top it off, I was charged 26 euros for just a plate of rice with some sauce… Honestly, this is a restaurant to avoid.

very tasty and excellent service! a lot of things are spicy without saying so on the menu. if you can’t handle spice it’s best to ask the workers for recommendations. everyone was very welcoming and helpful they even gave us extra soup to try out. personally i thought everything was seasoned perfectly especially loved the spicy tomato paste that comes with the vegan rice dishes. jollof rice and waakye were a bit dry but tasty nonetheless. fufu with vegan kontomire and egusi stew was very flavourful and pleasantly spicy. definitely worth a try!

This restaurant is not at all suitable for people who don't like spicy food or can't tolerate it. The food here was generally very tasty, but it wasn't possible to order a dish that wasn't spicy or only slightly spicy. The service wasn't particularly accommodating, so I had Jollof rice. But that was also spicy, so unfortunately, I ended up not being able to eat anything. What I did try was very tasty. Unfortunately, the menu didn't mention the spiciness of the food; I could only ask... The service was also rather unfriendly and irritable, and I didn't feel particularly welcome.

Didi PA is a friendly west African (Gahna) restaurant, serving real food. A short walking distance from HermanPlaz U-Bahn, in a somewhat rough area of Berlin. The dishes are generous and full of unique spices, with some Chillies too. You can eat with your hands but other options are available. We took the Fufu chicken and Julouf with fish that were both very good. There are a few local drinks and you can get some deserts too. We went for a Baklawa nearby. Highly recommended experience

I've always wanted to try African food and of course I came for the FuFu. I found it quite spicy, although that's not the restaurant's fault, of course, but rather my European palate. I thought it was really great that they also offer vegan dishes. I'm glad I've finally gotten a taste for Fufu. A local also pointed out to us that you eat the dish with your fingers, but we'd just gotten out of the subway and found it a bit unhygienic. So please don't come for us, next time I'll have tissues in my handbag 🤭 Unfortunately, I didn't think it looked that great, which is why we left straight after eating. Still, a great insider tip!!

Fufu to fall in love with – super delicious, spicy, and hearty! We visited DidiPaa during our Berlin trip (July 24–28) and were immediately given a very warm welcome. Although we would have preferred to eat outside and unfortunately there were no tables available, we still felt comfortable inside. The service was super friendly from the start – a young lady in particular gave us really good advice. I immediately mentioned that I wasn't very familiar with the cuisine, but I really wanted to try fufu – and she immediately took the time to explain everything to us in detail. My girlfriend and I both opted for the peanut soup with fufu – we were totally hyped about it and were absolutely not disappointed. It was super, super delicious! A special highlight for me: The fufu was really spicy – exactly my thing! I love spice, and it was perfectly balanced here – spicy, intense, but not overly so. The portion was quite large – in retrospect, we perhaps should have had one fufu and one jollof rice to try even more. And personally, I would have preferred beef instead of the chicken leg – it was a little too much for me, but that's a matter of taste. All in all: simply delicious all around. And what can I say: I ate fufu on the first day of our stay in Berlin – and in the days that followed, I kept saying how much I'd love to have fufu again! 😄 Conclusion: For anyone who wants to try fufu or West African food – DidiPaa is a solid 10/10. Delicious, spicy, hearty – we'll definitely be back!

I have an African friend and asked him what his favourite authentic African food place was. He named me DIDI PA as the place to be, so I went here with high hopes after already having tried solid authentic freshly cooked African food in Berlin. But boy was it disappointing. The food is preprepped in tiny buckets and you basically get food served like in the cantina. Which in principle is fine but then the price has to be accordingly. But it's not. This eatery charges restaurant prices for food stall level food. Which was fine but not really special. And in combination with the price it was really disappointing. Looking for an authentic African food experience go to next level African food or Senegambia. Both incredible and cheaper.

Food good otherwise rather run down

Without exaggerating, this was the biggest disappointment I've ever experienced. The food was absolutely not tasty. The fish was so dry, and the food was generally lukewarm and not fresh, making it anything but tasty. The cashier couldn't give me a receipt and was frantically typing numbers into a calculator. I'm sure I paid more than I got. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Rice with chicken fufu with peanut sauce 10/10

The restaurant is more like a snack bar, very small and incredibly hot and cramped in the summer. Sitting outside is better, but a bit uncomfortable on the wooden chairs, right next to the relatively noisy street. Unfortunately, the service was not good; you receive an annoyed greeting, and then we waited 15 minutes for someone to bring us a menu... no one came, so we got it ourselves from inside. Eventually, our orders were taken, but again, they weren't friendly. The food itself (fufu egusi/kontomire and peanut fufu with beef) was okay; the egusi dish was very spicy, even though it wasn't advertised. The peanut sauce was tastier. The fufu was pretty bland for me personally and could have used some salt—but there was no salt or pepper on the table. The water bowl you get for your fingers is a shabby blue plastic bowl—it ​​could certainly be easily upgraded. Overall, it's quite expensive for the inadequate service, mediocre food, and uncomfortable atmosphere.

We had decided to try African food and came across DIDI PA online. When we arrived, we were delighted. We had a mixed rice platter with a small salad and chicken thighs. It tasted very good. They also served banana leaves with peanuts. It was delicious. The shop is very small, but okay.

We'd been looking for a good West African restaurant for a while and found a really great one here on the outskirts of Kreuzberg. The service was unassumingly friendly, the decor simple, and the food simply excellent. There's a few seats inside and outside if you're lucky. Digitalkamera Pa's special mix with chicken was simply delicious. Every sauce was excellent, the rice sauces were delicious, and the chicken was juicy. The kelewele was very tasty, and the sodas were very good. Highly recommended!

Only the food was quite tasty and nicely served but the service from the very beginning increased this reluctance to eat in this place. Poor interest in the customer from the very beginning through the entire process of eating the meal until its end. How can you charge the customer talking on the phone or more precisely with the receiver in your ear.. and make a mistake..XD.. I have never experienced this in my country and here it looks like zero respect. In general, the place is very cold, without atmosphere, without any West African music... only the guy meowing to the rhythm of his music from his inseparable receiver :)

I love eating there!! Regardless of whether it was a good day or a bad day, when I go to Didi Pa I always feel better afterwards. A warm heart and a full belly are the only things you need! Kind regards ❤️
