Ordered my food there almost 2 hours ago. Unavailable by telephone (permanently occupied). Will I ever receive my food? Edit: gave up hope after 2.5 hours and requested a refund via Paypal.

Always very good food for a fair price.

Unfortunately there is a guy at the reception,he isn't nice a bit rude and doesn't have any experience in Customer Service,he asked questions like he is angry with you or his Job....

Very expensive overall, you have to order sauce, plaintains and spicy everything separately... and then something else was put in instead of the hot sauce... unfortunately I don't like it if it isn't spicy... pretty disappointing for so much money . Actually delicious food

Delicious authentic African cuisine. Food could not be better. Unique/interesting selection of drinks. Modern ordering system which is innovative and efficient. Staff are friendly, owner is peronally involved which explains the exceptional quality and attention to detail. Generous portion sizes, and I eat a lot - I haven't been that pleasantly full eating out in a long time. Will be coming back with friends! Would be happy to have a bit more atmosphere with some beautiful African background music.

We actually wanted to go to another restaurant, but we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We haven't eaten so well in a long time. Very large portions. We had the Waakey and the Jollof. Waakey is a bit spicy for those who don't really like spicy food but it's ok to eat. Jollof has very tasty rice and the plantains are also highly recommended. It is very practical that you have pictures in the menu and that you can also order on your cell phone.

Restaurant that cooks typical African dishes. The dishes are however adapted to our fragile European palates (the dishes are not too spicy--just what is needed to have a taste of Africa.) the portions are copious (but offers dogy-bags) the service is warm. I highly recommend. And a little extra for our French colleagues: they speak French perfectly.

The most unfriendly and dishonest front desk service. I had to wait an hour to get the wrong take away order which I only discovered when I got home. I ordered acheke and tilapia only to be informed that there was none available 20 minutes after the order. I agreed to wait but was willing to wait provided that I will do take away as my companion’s jollof would come much earlier. The front desk guy was for some reason irritated by that fact and was vocal about it. The jollof of my companion was nice, though. This is the worst review I have (out of character )ever given. That front desk was absolutely terrible. He could not even handle complaints about soggy fried plantain from a client, stating that that was all that was available for the day and most people did not complain.

So yesterday I went to this store to eat and the food was very tasty. But later I noticed when I paid that they had deducted more from my account than I had to pay. On the receipt it was 22 euros 50. Later I noticed in the online banking that they deducted twenty-five from me. So people be careful when you use an EC card. It's best to check it straight away in online banking

The bestseller is definitely fufu (a large dumpling in sauce) in all variations. My favorite is the crispy grilled mackerel. Definitely dough balls for dessert - also to take home with you.

I haven't tried that much african food, but my friends kinda recommended me to try this restaurant. I had low expectations due to my previous experiences with African foods. But boy, this restaurant definitely set a really high standard for african food. The yellow rice was flavorful, it tastes like rice mixed with canned sardines that contains some spiciness. It kinda reminded me with my mother's cooking. The chicken is crispy enough that you can even eat the bones. (Some people might not like this because it seems to be "hard" not juicy and crispy on the outside) The most important thing for me here is the chili sauce/condiment that they provided with the food. It is quite rare to find chili sauce that pack that much spicy punch to my nose in germany. I am soo happy to get to visit this restaurant.

The food is a 100 out of 10. I've eaten at Mommies Corner twice now with friends. We always ordered several dishes and then shared them among ourselves. My friends confirmed the authenticity of the dishes. My personal favorite: Fufu with spinach, mackerel and plantain. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes.

It was always very tasty, but we were very disappointed recently. The order arrived after almost 3 hours and we thought: okay, maybe at least the food will be as tasty as before. The food arrived and with it the big disappointment: the meat was very hard and raw! How can you not cook the meat in 3 hours? It can make you sick and it's even worse when you're pregnant! Unfortunately we will no longer be customers.

Our first visit to an African restaurant while visiting Bremen. Great advice regarding the choice of food, all (!) employees incredibly friendly and helpful. The food tasted fantastic, the portions were large and left nothing to be desired. It was so good that we will definitely come again, even though we are from near Cologne. 10 stars for Mommies Corner and a thousand thanks for this unforgettable experience. P. S: since there was criticism of the cleanliness in some reviews: absolutely nothing to complain about!!! After each guest the table and the menu were wiped down immediately. A member of staff refilled the drinks fridge during our stay and wiped down EVERY single bottle before putting it away!!!

I went there with a friend from Gambia. And I ate a typical rice dish with chicken. Very large portions. Operators originally come from Ghana. But they offer many African dishes. Next time I'll try a FuFu dish. Nice personel. Simple atmosphere. Price performance is very good.

The food was great, the place was cozy. I ordered Fufu with Lamb, and it tasted good. Big portion for me as Asian.

I ordered 3 × Jollof rice, 2 with chicken and 1 with turkey. When making a note, I specifically wrote: 1 turkey, please, without sauce/stew. Unfortunately it was brought with sauce and my children didn't eat it. When I called there to say that turkey and gravy had arrived once, the gentleman on the phone said he couldn't do anything because he was working in the front and the kitchen was preparing the food in the back. Since it wasn't the first time and the Jollof tasted different and my kids brought me the full plate, I won't order Jollof there again. Service has always been friendly the last few times. We had to wait 1.5 hours for our food.

One star deducted because of the oily stairs to the bathroom. But the food was great, super authentic and diverse. Service was super friendly and attentive, especially the date distribution at Iftar. Guests and atmosphere lively and yet familiar. I will gladly come again.

My visit to this African restaurant was extremely disappointing. The dish I ordered was made with beef, it was so hard that it was practically inedible. It seemed as if I had been served old leftovers. 2 out of 10 pieces of meat were still somewhat ok. Despite my complaint and the employee at the checkout agreeing that the meat was inedible today, I had to leave my (almost) untouched plate pay. It's frustrating to have to pay for a meal that clearly wasn't freshly prepared. I hope that the restaurant checks its kitchen standards and ensures that future guests receive fresh and high quality food, it was after iftar, I think if I had opened my iftar there I would react completely differently, I didn't understand the cashier The kitchen agreed that the meat was inedible and still wanted the full price. I also made a video of my plate 😂 because it was simply unbelievable. I was to Second time there, and the first time I have to say it was very tasty, but the second visit was the biggest disappointment I've had in a restaurant! I hope the €20 has made you richer now...

I wouldn't recommend the store to anyone and wouldn't go there a second time. There were greasy fingers on the menus that you could barely hold in your hands. I had rice with fish, the fish was ok, the rice had no taste and to be honest it looked like it had been passed on from the other plate! The waiter didn't pay attention to us, if you needed something you had to make yourself very conspicuous. The store in general left me with a very dingy impression. Another thing that discouraged my appetite was that the cutlery wasn't properly clean and there was dried food residue on the serving.

What an amazing food, portions are gigantic, and everyone is super friendly.

The employees should be a little friendlier! You have to feel comfortable as a guest in a restaurant.

I never thought in my life that I would find the food so delicious. Great guys, great service but the food is world class!!! Unfortunately, hunger got faster than my camera and I couldn't take a photo of my favorite stew fufu with tomato sauce.

I have to say really cool ambience and very tasty food. The beef is sometimes very good and melts in your mouth, but every now and then it is very tasty. You have to say that if you order here you have to wait ages. If I were you, I would allow at least 2 hours for orders. That's why you only get 2 stars, unfortunately every delivery has only arrived after 2 hours with a bit of luck. Most of the time it runs on 2.5 like it does today, for example.

Today I ate fufu with my fingers in a restaurant for the first time. That was really tasty and I had a lot of fun. So a really recommendable restaurant. Super tasty dishes. The personnel is very friendly and courteous. The portions are huge. We were all thrilled.

I thought it was really good. I tried many different dishes with 6 friends. And they were all very tasty and very authentic. They reminded me of my homeland and my friends who aren't from Africa also thought it was really tasty. We had such a nice time, the service was really good and the atmosphere was very nice. As soon as you enter, you are overwhelmed by the ambience. Both the decor and the music give you the feeling you would expect when you go out for African food. The only thing that could beat this was the service from the extremely competent employees. The mix of patience, experience and good humor made ordering extremely easy, even for inexperienced customers. Everything was rounded off by the excellent food, which invites you to visit again. All in all, a great recommendation where everyone gets their money's worth.

Hier stimmt irgendwie nichts. Wir hatten uns leckeres afrikanisches essen versprochen. Es gibt keinen Service, es erklärt keiner wie der Laden funktioniert oder gefragt was wir möchten, daher sind wir nach fünf Minuten wieder aufgestanden und gegangen.

Essen wäre bestimmt lecker gewesen, es wurde nur nie geliefert. Auf Nachfrage nach einer Stunde wäre es unterwegs, aber nach bald 3h geben wir es auf.

Das Restaurant sieht schön aus aber das Team ist unprofessionel. Das Essen war kalt und hat nicht geschmeckt ich würde das Restaurant nicht empfehlen.

Super leckeres Essen zu einem angemessenen Preis. Die Größe der Portionen ist angemessen, man wird tatsächlich statt (nicht beim Bestellen übertreiben!). Besonders zu empfehlen ist der Jollof mit Hühnchen. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp für Bremen!

Bei der Bestellung Plantain vergessen, mich dann dreisterweise zwanzig Minuten (!!!) am Telefon hängen lassen, während im Hintergrund weiter fleißig Bestellungen angenommen worden. Obwohl ich Stammkundin bin seit Jahren....habe auf den AB gesprochen und meine Beschwerde mitgeteilt....bis heute keine Reaktion! Schade schade schade.....ich bin echt enttäuscht!

Sehr leckeres Essen dort. Haben das Fufu mit Erdnusssoße probiert, Garnelen und gebratenen Reis mit Hähnchen. Alles super gewürzt. Essen ist schnell am Tisch und die Leute sehr freundlich. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen Würden wir etwas näher dran wohnen, würden wir aufjedenfall öfter mal dort vorbei kommen. Preis Leistung ist top.

Essen schmeckt dort wirklich Megaa!! Der Laden ist auch sehr sauber. Wenn ich nicht 1- 2 mal die Woche Mommies Fufu esse, dann halte ich das echt nicht aus. Die Mitarbeiter sind so liebevoll :) Für diesen Laden lege ich sogar jedesmal eine 50km Strecke zurück. Kann ich nur empfehlen. ☺️

Vor Ort bestellt und 45mints lang warten keine essen da, obwohl mir wurde gesagt dauer c.a 10 bis 15mnts..deshalb hab ich ja bestellt ,dann wllt nach fragen wann meine essen kommt aber die Tochter war sehr arrogant,nie wieder

The food was seriously delicious. I ate everything including the mackerel cartilage. The sauce on the waayke 🤌. The chilli sauce that came in the wooden bowl was the perfect blend of heat and flavour. Service was quick, waiters are polite the atmosphere is colourful and the music is decent. Shamelessly Shazamming under the table. For the food quality €10-20 is very fair. However, they could make it easier to pay (paying through a website or via an app). Bis bald Mommie’s corner.

Liebe das Essen dort, Lieblingsrestaurant! Kann Egusi sehr empfehlen Empfehle jedoch nicht das Essen zu bestellen, dann schmeckt das nur noch ölig und einfach ungenießbar

Was soll ich sagen einmal und nie wieder .Nach 4 Stunden habe ich dann eingesehen das ich heute keine Lieferung mehr bekomme. Haben dort angerufen und nachgefragt es hieß zwar ist unterwegs aber naja nach 4 Stunden habe ich mir woanders was bestellt .

First of all, it could be they make other dishes better than the “thing” i ate there, but i would advice to take the so called “pepper soup” off that menu if you cant make a proper pepper soup or maybe that was just the “Ghanaian style”, but to have paid an exorbitant price to just ingest that “meat water” with very little bits of meat and over-fried plantains doesn’t sit well with my body & soul. A total waste of my time & money, I didn’t like it. #NigerianJellofIsTheBest.

I highly recommend you to try out their jollof rice with any kind of topping your choice (chicken is my favorite tho)!! And you also should try out their tomato sauce and spicy sauce (beware it is super spicy!) They have the best African foods in town!!!!!!! And with their new location, they offer a better atmosphere and dine in place! Oh btw they also offer delivery, so yeah! 🤟🏻

01.07.23 Update: Restaurant ist umgezogen. Deutlich mehr Platz und schöne Inneneinrichtung. Essen weiterhin sehr gut! Afrika ist groß, so auch die vielfalt an verschiedenen regionalen Küchen. Hier findet man Gerichte aus dem südwestlichen Landesteil. Mein Partner hat lange nach Restaurants aus dieser Gegend gesucht und man sah ihn heute strahlen. Wir sind jetzt keine Afrikaner, mögen aber die Gerichte aus dem Afrikanischen sehr gerne. Ok, es ist jetzt nicht ein Restaurant im klassinschen Sinne. Eher ein Imbiss mit kleinem Nebenraum in dem sich 4 Tische mit Stühlen befindet. Aber man wird am Tisch bedient und zahlt wenn man geht. Das Essen jedoch ist sehr gut und auch nett angerichtet. Das Personal ist unglaublich nett und man wird auch gut von den Portionen satt und das zu einem guten Preis. Gerne kommen wir wieder und werden uns einmal durch die Karte essen, heisst wir werden mehr als einmal kommen müssen :-). Einen Parkplatz muss man sich suchen, ist ein Wohngegend und mit etwas Glück findet man einen Platz.

Restaurant mit Westafrikanische Küche die ich empfehlen kann. Die Speisekarte kann man auf den Handy anschauen oder über den Tresen sind Bildschirme mit den Gerichten. Die Bestellung sollte man am Tresen abgeben. Es ist schwierig das passende zu finden, weil man viel Auswahl hat. Ich hatte mich für den gelben Reis mit Hähnchen entschieden. Jedenfals werde ich dort nochmal hingehen. Parkplätze gibt es hintern Haus

Das Essen war sehr lecker und ich komme auch gerne wieder. Der Service war auch sehr gut und der Nachtisch “Joghurt mit Couscous” sehr sehr lecker. Ich konnte es mir erst nicht vorstellen, aber dann war ich sehr überrascht. Macht weiter so 👍🏼💪🏼 nur leider schade, dass ihr aus der neustadt gegangen seit.

Endlich habe ich es geschafft in einem Afrikanischem Restaurant zu essen!!! Und es war ein Volltreffer 👌🏽. Die Mitarbeiter sind alles super nett und kompetent. Das Essen war einfach köstlich und mit Händen essen eine wunderbare Erfahrung, empfehle ich jedem! Ich freue mich schon aufs nächste mal 😃

Es gibt leckere Speisen aus Westafrika - Ghana. Die Bewirtung ist nett und freundlich. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Wir kommen gern wieder, wenn wir mal wieder in Bremen sind.

Die afrikanische Küche und dieses Etablissement verdient meiner Ansicht nach weitere Aufmerksamkeit. Sie ist exzellent und ein wahrer Geheimtipp, zudem wird sie von äußerst angenehmen und freundlichen Mitarbeitern präsentiert. Eine herzliche Atmosphäre rundet das Gesamterlebnis ab.
