We spontaneously looked for an open restaurant because we were traveling in that direction. Spontaneously found this restaurant and went in. Small rooms but comfortable. Pros / Cons: Cash payment / no card payment. The service is very friendly and accommodating. Small menu. Super deliciously seasoned food, vegetables still look really lively and crispy. Quality and price great. We'll definitely be back😍

The restaurant offers a fusion of Spanish and Brazilian dishes. We had black bean soup, coconut lentil soup and chicken drumsticks in stew. We particularly recommend snacking on the tapas - the quesadillas were very tasty. The owner is super nice and helpful. And, upon request, we also served the dishes as a vegan alternative. A great little insider tip.

We were here for the first time after the reopening and we really liked it. Authentic food and drinks are served here. We received very friendly advice and service. We are pleased that Saudade is once again a beautiful location in the south. Many thanks to the team.

Lovely new Brazilian place with excellent service. Highly recommend the Coxinha (chicken croquettes). The sauces here were also amazing (we were served an aioli and a fabulous roasted-tomato salsa with our order). Please visit this new restaurant!

Something new in the south! 🇧🇷 The many good reviews of the new Saudade made us curious. And we can only confirm it! The service was incredibly nice, authentic and warm. The ambience is warm, cozy and calm. A small, constantly changing menu, great wines. We had the cheese balls for starters (yum!) and the chicken and fish prawn stew for the main course. The latter in particular was incredibly tasty! 😋 The portions are such that you can easily manage a starter. We'll definitely be back! Don't be irritated; Among the Google reviews and photos there are still those of the previous owner.

We went to Saudade for the first time yesterday after we saw they had newly opened and were curious. The service was very friendly and accommodating. The Portuguese/Latin American food was also great, the menu is small but there is something for everyone and therefore always freshly cooked. It was definitely not the last visit for us.

The flavors were perfectly balanced and you can tell that the cooking here is made with love. • Service: The service was simply first class – friendly, attentive and quick. You immediately felt welcome. • Ambience: The atmosphere was very inviting, with beautiful decor and appropriate music that makes you feel like you're really in South America. Super delicious food. I recommend the pineapple-coconut milk-shrimp curry. The cheese balls are also great. Although the selection is limited, what is there is very tasty

Attention: since the beginning of December, new operators. It's not the African restaurant anymore! The new international tenant couple puts a lot of effort into the cuisine, with a South American and Spanish touch. We were definitely not there for the last time! Go and try it, it's worth it. The two could manage to breathe new life into this traditional pub in the south of Stuttgart.

I am not sure the new restaurant at this location has the same name. The new place, open since 22.11.24, is Brazilian, owned and operated by a lovely couple working the front and back of the house. I cannot express in words how spectacularly delicious the food and exceptionally wonderful the owners are at this place. We split four dishes and four desserts between three people. Every single one was exquisite. Such delightful people serving up fresh and flavorful food. We will be back very, very frequently. Thank you again for an amazing experience. We cannot wait for next time! Go and support this new establishment with a visit. You will not be disappointed!

I came here by chance because I was waiting for the ADAC and I have to say that I have never been received so warmly and kindly anywhere. The chef is great, I ate chilli con carne. It was amazing, plus a great guacamole and toasted baguette with really good olive oil! The waitress was also super nice, a place to feel good. Will come often!

The new operators have decorated the restaurant very nicely and lovingly. Very warm atmosphere with very friendly staff. Small but fine selection of food, fresh and tasty and also the best beer with Alpirsbacher. There was also a good selection of wine, but I stuck with beer for now.

We were in this restaurant last night. unfortunately a complete failure. Sorry but that's not West African food you're offering, it's a poorly executed mix of African, European, Mediterranean dishes. We had ordered Ogbono with fufu. What we got was something completely different, with some vegetables in peanut sauce and very poorly seasoned. There isn't even pili-pili to season with. A short conversation with the chef quickly clarified that he had absolutely no idea what he was cooking. As two Africans (Congo / Nigeria) living in Germany, we can very well judge what African food should taste and look like. It's a shame, we expected more after reading the reviews.

The food really wasn't bad, but to be honest we were hoping for a little more - especially given the relatively high prices. The staff was very friendly.

We ate at the Patacon Obi stand in the Feuerseefest, and we've never been to West Africa, but we think the vegan jollof and kidney beans taste very good. We look forward to going to the actual restaurant and eating more of the food.

Tried West African cuisine here for the first time. I had the sample platter of Jollof rice, plantains, yeast dough balls and Nigerian beans and thought it was super delicious. I also had friendly service with a nice ambience outside.

A highly unprofessional and ugly restaurant. We waited over 30 minutes and the food wasn't even started even though the restaurant was empty

WOW was that delicious!!! There were 4 of us and we tried our way through the menu. Super cozy atmosphere, relaxed/friendly staff and super delicious food at fair prices. Simply put, PERFECT!!! Thank you, we'll always be happy to come back.

There were three of us. We ordered two 0.6 Guinness Export Stout Nigeria (7.5%) and a mango beer (0.5 l) as drinks. The Mango beer (0.5 l) was delivered as ordered, but instead of the 2 Guinness Export Stout Nigeria (7.5%), 2 Fanta (which has absolutely nothing to do with the beer ordered) were delivered. When asked, it was claimed that the Guinness beer we ordered with 7.5% beer was a soft drink and that we had made a mistake. Then we didn't want to argue and got 2 other beers, which we also got delivered as ordered. For dinner we ordered a plantain burger (beef) with plantain as a side dish (as in this combination, it is stated in the menu as an additional cost option to the basic burger), as well as plantain for the second person and peanut sauce with rice and turkey for the third person. Only the plantain burger was delivered, the plantain for the second person and the peanut sauce with rice and turkey for the third person. So the plantain (a side dish to the burger) was forgotten. The food itself was delicious, but the service was absolutely bad due to two major mistakes (!) I definitely won't be going there again, unacceptable.

We ate there for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. The offer on the menu sounded very promising. Unfortunately the food wasn't particularly good (banenburger and African fries). It was very dry and tasteless. The rooms were not heated and since the outside temperatures in January are well below 0, it was correspondingly cold. The service was very friendly and tried hard, but unfortunately a bit overwhelmed because she had to do everything herself (cooking, serving, cashing...). Maybe the quality of the food suffered as a result.

We were here for dinner...here's our impression: Reservation: We reserved by email, received a quick response... very friendly, it worked wonderfully. Local: The entrance area is not particularly inviting. In order to attract walk-in customers, something more needs to be done here. The dining room is quite clear. The tables are comfortable and effort has been made to bring the decoration and furnishings up to date. I think a lot of things could still be optimized here, and it was a bit cold... so there were blankets laid out that you could use. The opening was only a month ago, so I assume that something is still being done at one point or another. Staff: The staff was super friendly, quick and helpful... and in a good mood :) Food: An interesting selection of dishes. We enjoyed delicious Suja skewers as a starter... and then tried our way through (sample plate and Jollof rice with kidney beans). We underestimated the portion sizes and then had the leftovers packed up... it also tasted really good when warmed up at home. Price-performance: In terms of price-performance, the offer is perfectly fine. Summarized: It's definitely 4 stars. If a little something is done to the restaurant or the outdoor area is spruced up in the summer, the 5 star rating is definitely achievable. We would be happy to come back and update the rating accordingly.

I have to say, I was a bit disappointed with the good reviews. The ambience is sweet and cozy but so cold in winter, we sat there with jackets on. The service was quick and friendly, but the wait for the food took almost half an hour. I can't recommend the peanut sauce with rice - it had peas, carrots and tomatoes in it and tasted very German :( The PuffPuff balls were delicious though.

unfortunately just very disappointingly under average…. will not be going back. Had Suya, Jollof rice, plantain, chicken and nigerian fanta The Fanta was tasteless and gasless and the Suya was just meat on a stick with zero Suya pepper or flavour. The Jolly was just coloured rice and the chicken.... a joke. The Plantain was ok. I guess if you don't know the dishes and have no "expectations" you may have a better experience. Maybe we chose a bad day, or just the wrong meal....

Our group enjoyed the food. There were just a few mistakes made by the cashier on the bill.

Essen lecker, vor allem der Probierteller und die Happen. Mittagstisch ist auch gut. Nur von den Burgern waren wir nicht ganz so begeistert aber sie sind nicht schlecht. Service immer freundlich, nette Atmosphäre und gute Preise. Die Wartezeiten sind leider manchmal recht lang.

Auch wenn es mal etwas länger dauern kann, das warten ist jede Minute wert. Sehr lecker und auch authentisch.

Der Jollof Reis war trocken, kalt und weiß (wo ist die Tomatensauce?), die Kidney für meinen Geschmack hart, die frittierte Kochbanane nicht durch frittiert also halb roh, nur die Puff-Puff waren frisch zubereitet und haben dementsprechend gut geschmeckt.

Süßes, kleines afrikanisches Restaurant. Klassische, authentische Spezialitäten „wie bei Mama“. Sehr gemütlich und ungezwungen. Ein Sternchen Abzug für die lange Wartezeit (obwohl nicht viel los war) und ein Gericht wurde leider vergessen. Haben aber als Entschädigung ein Getränk aufs Haus bekommen ☺️ Vielen Dank dafür. Leckeres Essen in freundlicher Atmosphäre. Vielleicht könnte man noch etwas mehr afrikanische Getränke (bspw. Bissap, Bouye) anbieten.

Das Personal ist freundlich, die Portionen gross und es gibt eine schöne Gartenwirtschaft. Die afrikanische Musik im Hintergrund schafft eine tolle Atmosphäre.

Das Patacon Obi kann wirklich als Geheimtipp bezeichnet werden. Das Essen war für mich lecker und der Service war sehr angenehm. Wir fanden trotzdem die Preise etwas hoch und die Einrichtung und Hygiene (auch auf der Toilette) verbesserungswürdig.

freundliches Personal & gute (afrikanischde) Küchen & angenehme Atmosphäre. man sollte jedoch reservieren - oder etwas Zeit mitbringen, um auf einen Tisch zu warten. sämtliche Tische waren voll belegt. es gibt jedoch auch die Möglichkeit für Take-Away bzw man kann sich liefern lassen

super uriger laden. mitten im laden steht ein heizlüfter. Eingangstür und fenster sind teilweise mit schaumstoff und Kartons vor der kälte geschützt. War bis auf tunesienurlaub noch nicht in afrika. Aber so autenthisch stelle ich mir afrika vor. Bier aus nigeria und palmwein /4,5 % aus ghana sowie den tollen Probierteller war super !!! Wenn ich das nächste mal wieder in Stuttgart gehe ich unbedingt mal hin. i i

Puff puff und generell der Probierteller mit Jollof Reis sehr lecker und sehr freundliche Leute dort :) Die Kochbananen auf jeden all auch ausprobieren!

Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich! Und das Essen ist wirklich sehr sehr lecker und authentisch. Auch die Musik ist sehr authentisch. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich. Immer wieder gerne. :)

Ich denke das Essen ist Geschmacksache. Wir fanden es nicht schlecht, aber auch keinen Wow-Effekt. Aber zumindest Mal etwas interessantes Neues.

Essen lecker und Portionen ausreichend. Insgesamt sehr bananenlastig. Das Personal ist freundlich, aber nicht gut informiert, konnte keine näheren Angaben zum Gericht geben („ich weiß es nicht, habe es noch nie probiert …“) und unbeholfen. Dabei wollte ich nur wissen, ob das Fleisch mit Knochen serviert wird … Das Lokal ist sehr eng und alt. Zum Probieren ganz ok, überzeugt hat es mich aber nicht!

Um die westafrikanische Küche zu probieren sind meine Frau und ich dorthin gegangen. Das Essen war sehr gut und ausreichend, die probierplatten würden wir eher für zwei Personen empfehlen, da es doch eine ordentliche Portion ist. Falls man doch nicht weiß was einige Gerichte sind wird man vom Personal aufgeklärt.

Rustikal eingerichtetes Restaurant mit sehr leckerem westafrikanischem Essen. Vor allem die Puff Puff haben mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Service war freundlich. Leider war es sehr kalt im Restaurant.

Nettes kleines Lokal mit Bob Marley Musik im Hintergrund und sehr gutem afrikanischem Essen und sehr netter kinderfreundlicher Bedienung!
