This was our first visit to Zartosht Restaurant in Stuttgart. The staff was fantastic, very friendly, and welcoming. The location is in a beautiful setting and has a lovely terrace, which perfectly reflects Iranian culture and Iranian restaurants. The food was delicious – we had the Iranian kebab Kubide, which was really juicy and tasted excellent. If you're looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of the city and modernity and want to try a quieter atmosphere, this restaurant is a great recommendation. I highly recommend it!

We visited with our family for dinner on Sunday. We received a very warm welcome in a very sweet garden setting, set in a quiet location. Our every need was anticipated, and we felt very comfortable. Everything we were served was prepared in a typical Persian style and tasted AMAZING! A shisha was a must at the end, of course. There was also plenty of black tea on the house and even watermelon, which was actually intended for private use. We would love to return and look forward to the extremely generous hospitality followed by a culinary experience.

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. It’s off the beaten path, and it’s not a polished, commercialized restaurant like many in Stuttgart, but therein lies its charm. Zartosht a down-to-earth eatery where the focus is on great food and service. We ordered a sampler of various foods for 2, which cost 62 euros. It was incredible—all kinds of seasoned grilled meats, including chicken, beef and lamb skewers, were featured, along with heaps of Persian rice, salad, roasted veggies and the most delicious garlic yogurt sauce I’ve had with flatbread. The portions are huge—we had another full meal from our leftovers. The owner, Ebi, not only cooks great Persian food with passion, but also gives recommendations for menu items and takes time to get to know his guests personally. We met a couple who’d eaten at Zartosht 50+ times over the years and after our experience I can see why. The prices are exceptionally reasonable. We felt the price was so fair and the service so kind that we wanted to give a really nice tip, and still we only came to €80 for a massive meal with drinks for 2 people. The restaurant inside is basic but nice, and I imagine in summer the outdoor area would be really nice to sit in. If you want great Persian food and wonderful customer service for an affordable price, go to Zartosht!

You can tell that Ebi attaches great importance to making his guests feel comfortable and satisfied. The restaurant seems to be made especially for summer: a cozy beer garden, a charcoal grill and an atmosphere that is simply convincing. This gives the whole thing a special charm. We will definitely come back from Ulm in the summer. We have rarely eaten Persian food so well!

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. The environment was anything but inviting - the ambience seemed dated and unkempt. The food was also miserable: carelessly prepared, tasteless and in no way worth the price. The overall impression was simply negative and unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant at all.

I discovered the small Persian restaurant by chance. I asked a Persian friend if he wanted to try it out and we set off straight away. The restaurant is a bit hidden. Location and ambience is good: quiet, close to nature and not overcrowded. Service was great. Very nice staff, super friendly and accommodating. Now the most important thing - the food. My best experience so far when it comes to Persian food. It is grilled with charcoal, so the meat was tender and had that certain smoky aroma, simply delicious. Rice and the other side dishes were also delicious without any objections. I would love to come back - I can recommend it with a clear conscience.

Small but nice. Everything freshly prepared and from the wood grill including a typical starter to try. This takes time, but it's worth it. It simply tastes delicious. For people who don't yet know Persian cuisine, everything was explained how the variants harmonize best together. If you would like more of something, you are welcome to order more. The portions were more than sufficient. The garden terrace is very nice, weather permitting at the moment. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Ich habe lange überlegt, ob ich diese Bewertung hier hinterlassen sollte. Wir waren heute mit 5 Personen in diesem "Restaurant", wenn man es überhaupt so nennen kann. Schon von außen konnte man zweifeln, ob wir überhaupt eintreten sollten. Da ich jedoch immer daran denke, das Geschäft meiner Landsleute zu unterstützen, dachte ich, vielleicht lohnt es sich für das Essen. Die Inhaber sind zwar nett, aber es fehlt an Hygiene und das Essen ist nicht gut. Die Zutaten scheinen nicht frisch zu sein, und ich hatte wirklich Angst, krank zu werden. Ich hoffe, die Inhaber nehmen meinen Kommentar nicht böse auf und setzen sich für eine bessere Bedienung ihrer Kunden ein.
