Absolut lecker. Es gibt für mich keinen besseren Mexikaner. Ich gehe dort schon über 13 Jahre essen. Man wird herzlich empfangen und das Essen ist immer frisch und richtig lecker. Kann ich jedem empfehlen.

Wir kommen seit mehreren Jahren immer wieder gerne. Kleines aber sehr feines Restaurant. Die Bedienung ist einfach super. Mega freundlich und hat den Laden allein im Griff. Die Karte ist nicht groß aber durch verschiedene Füllungen doch sehr variabel und jeder findet was. Qualitativ ist das Essen Top. Unsere Empfehlung: die hausgemachten Tortilla Chips mit Salsa und Guacamole als Vorspeise - wir teilen sie immer zu 2.

Wie immer Perfekt. Service hervorragend genauso wie das Essen. Kommen immer wieder gerne.

Wir wollten ein mexikanisches Restaurant in unserer Nähe ausprobieren Wir sind ohne große Erwartungen hingegangen und wurden direkt freundlich empfangen und zu einem Tisch gebracht. Bei der Auswahl der Speisen war die Mitarbeiterin sehr hilfsbereit und herzlich. Es wurde immer wieder nachgefragt, ob alles passt, aber auf eine angenehme und ehrliche Art. Insgesamt hat uns der Besuch echt überzeugt. Für uns ganz klar eine 10 von 10, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Vielen Dank für das leckere Essen und den tollen Service!

We went to Houston's and it was a complete delight! The burrito, topped with cheese, was truly delicious – just the right amount of spice (medium) and, above all, a generous portion that was filling. We also had a margarita on the rocks, with a real kick – just as it should be. If you prefer wine, you won't be disappointed either: the Chardonnay from Chile was surprisingly good and went perfectly with the meal. I'd especially like to highlight the service: incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive – you immediately feel welcome. An all-around successful visit that I can absolutely recommend!

Great value for money – the waitress who served us was extremely friendly, and we felt very comfortable in the atmosphere. The food was delicious; we had two different quesedillas and nachos to go with them. The ingredients were all fresh. We had a few cocktails and a variety of wines to drink. The large selection of white wines from different countries is particularly noteworthy.

This is the place where I often like to come and always is absolutely perfect. Yesterday I end up being in some other Mexican restaurant in Stuttgart because we just didn’t have time to come here and it was like in front of us so we were like just to grab something quickly to eat. It was so bad that it should be illegal. I am not a picky person, some of the restaurants are better some less, but this was like to bad. Than it comes to me, I have never give a score to Houstons Burrito because we usually take all the good stuff for granted. So here it is , you deserve 10. Thank you

I’ve become a loyal fan of Houston’s Fine Burrito for good reason. I’ve tried just about every dish on the menu and can confirm - the chef puts his heart into every single dish, every single time. The quality is unmatched. I wish more restaurants would follow this standard. At the same time, the service is simply outstanding – the lady in charge has remembered our preferences since our very first visit and always makes us feel welcome with her positive, attentive attitude. Together, they create a place I can rely on every time, whether I come with my wife or bring friends and colleagues along. This restaurant has earned my full trust and remains one of my absolute favorites.

Finally a Mexican place in south Germany worth raving about. If you can get past the premium pricing on the food - balanced out by the more reasonable cocktail prices - the place is worth a visit! The quality ingredients make all the difference and for me puts Houstons "on the map," and in the end the price only feels steep if you don't think it's worth the value... I've only been once so would say they're riding a fine line. We'll have to make another visit to explore more of the menu! Parking-wise, there is neighborhood street parking in the vicinity. We didn't have trouble finding a parking spot within ~100m, but it likely depends on time of day, etc. The atmosphere is very cozy with seemingly unnaturally kind and attentive staff who seem to actually like working there - at least compared to what one might usually expect in south Germany. Only time will tell if they can keep up the great vibe. I hope so! Dogs also welcome. 🎉

We discovered it by chance – and were immediately impressed! The food is incredibly flavorful and prepared with love; you can feel the team's passion in every detail. The staff is warm and attentive, and you feel completely at home. We always enjoy coming back – and when we have visitors, this restaurant is our first recommendation!

Houston fine Burrito is a must-try! I had an amazing burrito loaded with three cheeses – it was so flavorful and satisfying, and really satisfying to eat. The service was also fantastic; friendly and efficient. Highly recommend for a delicious and meal! PS: you have to try the house brewed Tequila! Food was very good, various Menu. Just not so flexible...we were a group and they didn't put our table together and the bill was only for the whole table (which is ok, but uncommon here in Germany). I still recommend it, as the food was delicious for everyone in our group. Maybe just not a place to go as a group of more than 5 people.

No corn on the cob, no onion. Very little selection of truly original Mexican dishes. I'll put it this way: European food culture. So ok Expensive

We made a reservation and were warmly welcomed. An expansion of two chairs for spontaneous growth was also no problem. The very nice lady from the service was easy to admire. Even though the restaurant was full, she was always at the table with a smile and very, very quick with all orders and requests. You can only wish for such service staff. The food was excellent and you can clearly tell that the cooking here is done with love and experience. A Burrito Especial with chicken and shrimp was first class. A good portion that can also be tailored to your personal wishes with lots of salsas and level of spiciness. The atmosphere was very casual and pleasant. I can only say high praise here. It won't be the last visit to Houston. Keep it up!

Ordered „premium“ pick up. Up to 30 minutes there homepage says. They have not evenstarted the preparation when i arrived. Sent me an email with information of delay after i left the place frustrated without food! Very bad problem management. The lady made me feel very uncomfortable with her rude communication. Blamed me(!), presured me and did not say sorry once. Edit: your delay information email reached me after i left. 32 minutes after your first email in which you confirmed preparation within 30 minutes. See the pictures. However the problem is not that you where late, the problem is that your attitude was very wrong throughout the whole conversation, even when i showed you there was no email in my spam folder as you thought. I was not in a hurry, i was just not willing to accept this treatment. it was cleary you being stressed out and unprofessional in a half empty restaurant.

I did some research on various Mexican restaurants in Stuttgart and this one came up high so I thought I’d give it a try. My business associate and I travel around the world and have a tradition of trying Mexican food in every location. So while in Stuttgart we looked for the best. First, the owner is an acquired taste but after a little bantering, we hit it off. He and his waitress did a great job and we felt very welcomed. I questioned how good his margaritas were and he proved to both of us that he knew how to make good ones. He did that 3 times so it wasn’t a fluke! My expectations for the food were low but I was very surprised when the enchilada burrito was exceptional. Both meals ordered were very good. The reviews were quite mixed so we weren’t sure what to believe. However, both of us were very pleased the the experience. I’d go back if I had time. The place is pretty small so they can get full easily. Make reservations to be sure you can get in.

Adorable neighborhood gem with solid Mexican food (which is saying a LOT for Germany 😂). Waitstaff was warm and welcoming. Decor and lighting fit the mood perfect. Excellent margaritas. Be warned the nachos are ENORMOUS (too big for 1 and probably 2). Will be back!

I'm surprised by the very good reviews about the food here. We came with 5 people, everyone ordered a different dish and EVERYONE left 2/3 of their plate back. Visually fantastic, taste-wise a disaster. Why doesn't the chicken taste like chicken? We lived in the south of the USA for years, where we know and love good Mexican cuisine. And... We arrived at 5:50 p.m., the waitress came to our table again at 6:04 p.m. When we asked about cocktails for happy hour (which ended at 6 p.m.!), the waitress said it had been over for 4 minutes. At first we thought this would be fun, but no...we said we had been waiting for service for minutes...nothing helped. Pretty unprofessional and cheeky, especially since there were only three other guests in the restaurant. Not recommended!

Great atmosphere and very nice stylish decor. The service was excellent and such attentive and friendly service really sweetened our evening. The homemade nachos with salsa and guacamole alone are worth another visit. We had the burrito and the burrito bowl which were delicious and well seasoned. We look forward to your next visit!

At the recommendation of our children, we visited Houston on Saturday evening. It's good that we raised the average age a little, it's not a bad thing -- but we felt really comfortable, especially because the only service person was almost always present. I have rarely seen such a selection of Mexican beers and tried it out. The food was very good -- all in all -- we would be happy to come back.

Being gluten free, I can always count on Mexican good to come through to save me. Houstons offer a variety of foods, with at least 3 being gluten free. They offer handmade corn tortilla chips, soft corn tacos, and burrito bowls. Unfortunately, having a tomato allergy made it little more difficult; however, the Chef, Chris, was very accommodating. He thought through all of the meats and their preparation to consider the options. I had a craving for the tacos; however, I was informed by the waitress, that it was impossible to have any ingredients removed. The carne asada bowl was my only option. It was well-seasoned, which complimented the "not as seasoned" rice. The guacamole and sour cream complimented the flavors. I was excited that the rice did not have corn it! Coming from a family of Latinos, I'm not used to corn in rice. We don't need the extra "filler" in the food. Way to go to Chris and Evelyn in a "homey" feeling restaurant. I see why reservations are required!

The new premises are very nice, but there is not much more space than before. It is therefore essential to reserve a table in advance. Unfortunately, the parking situation is very difficult here. Our waitress was extremely friendly, attentive and courteous! The dishes were delicious again and the prices were fair. Highly recommended for anyone who likes Tex-Mex style food.

Very unfriendly man behind the counter, we were asked to get up because we would dirty the tables. The woman was very nice. The food was really bad. I would have liked to go and throw the food in his face. I'd rather go to Uncle Hasan around the corner...🤙 🏽

The Mexican restaurant offers a diverse selection of authentic dishes that will delight the taste buds. The lady in service is a heart and does her job very well. She is solely responsible for all guests - actually unreasonable. It seems like she has to compensate for the owner's bad mood. He came to us shortly after 11 p.m. to tell us that we should leave immediately. He still has to drive 50km home and go back to work tomorrow. This is extremely cheeky considering that the two of us just paid €100 and were allowed to order a “last round” drink 10 minutes beforehand. It has to be said that we made reservations for 8:45 p.m. and were only allowed to order food an hour later. “We were allowed” because we were actually forbidden from doing so beforehand. We had our food at 10:15 p.m. 45 minutes later we were rudely asked to leave? In addition: We ordered a chimichanga (fried burrito), and we received a classic limp burrito. But you don't dare to complain or ask anything.

Very cozy place and great friendly service. I'm an American so likely have a different view of "Great Mexican Food". It is very good, just not Great. That said, I don't think you can find any better in Stuttgart. Tomato Sauce in Germany just lacks flavor, no matter what style of food.

The food is good, but unfortunately the service and organization are not. We had a reservation for 8 people, but ended up being 7 people. Contrary to what had been agreed, we were ultimately seated at a standard table of four, seven of us. Of course, this was far too narrow for 7 adults. Due to the limited space, a drink fell over. The situation was commented on with the saying “it happens just like it happens to children,” but neither help nor a cloth was offered to remedy the mishap. So the table was wet for the rest of the evening. After dinner, the plates and dishes were left on the table for over half an hour. This was only taken away when asked. Last but not least, we received a total bill for our table. When we asked whether this could be divided among the individual people, we received a short "we won't do that". I also don't think this is very customer-friendly and I haven't experienced it that way yet. It's a shame that service and the customer don't come first here.

The girl who served us this evening is simply an amazing person! So pleasant, smiling and just very sweet. When we went out to smoke, she went outside to warn us that our order was ready and we could start eating☺️. And the food is simply amazing, everything is so tasty that you want more and more. The establishment itself is very cozy. The light is dim, the music is not loud, and most importantly, it is not cold or hot. I highly recommend visiting this establishment.

Very delicious and authentic food, awesome and very friendly staff. One suggestion, call exactly at 5PM if you want to go on weekends else you will not get table! We have visited again but at new place and we really liked the place and food was always delicious. Definitely try soft burritos!

We came the days without a reservation. The lady was very helpful and nice and tried to find a solution. The look from the gentleman behind the bar showed (in my opinion) “just get out of here”. My wife also had the same feeling without communication or eye contact, just get out of here. The arrangement of the tables in the store says a lot. That's why it might only be right for couples visiting. We didn't get to eat. Also ok. + For the nice waitress

Simply speaking, this is the BEST Mexican food in the country. Fresh ingredients and made from scratch. The owner and waitstaff fully engages with the customers to make it an enjoyable experience. I remember their food and friendly staff from years before at their other location and their friendly welcoming smiles were as if i had never left. Absolutely the highest recommendation i can offer. Keep doing what you are doing and see you next time.

1 star just so I can share this with you! INCREDIBLE Disrespectful! Is the right word. We have reserved a table for 8:30 p.m. We were told to come on time. We were there around 8:15 p.m. The waitress said our table wasn't ready yet, there were 2 glasses on the table. She said she has to get the table ready. I asked how long does it take. She: 3-4 minutes. Ok. She said we should please stand at the door. OK, we did it. The waitress started preparing drinks for the other customers, which was still ok. No problem for us. However, when she started putting away cups behind the bar, putting away cutlery. She obviously had time to clean up. We asked ourselves, why doesn't she clean our table quickly so that we as customers don't have to wait (as a reminder, there were only 2 glasses on the table, wiping them once would have taken 1 minute). So I politely asked the waitress if we could sit down. The table is free. She said: the table hasn't been cleaned yet, I said it's ok for us, no problem. She: No, but it's not ok for me that it hasn't been cleaned! With an annoyed tone. I said it's no problem if we sit down. She said they have to wait. I went back to the door and said nothing more. 2 minutes later the owner came to us and asked when we made the reservation, we said 8:30 p.m. But we're just a little (15 minutes) early. He said exactly, they only made a reservation for 8:30 p.m. and the table is not free, I said, but it is free, he said in a louder tone, not clean, they are not allowed to come earlier. The owner didn't let us speak, he exploded and got angry within 1 minute. He became rude, disrespectful, ignored me and almost yelled at us. He said: first comes cleanliness and getting the table ready and then the guest. I said it's worse to leave the customer standing and talking to you like that. He didn't even listen. At some point I said, it would be better if we left now. He said yes, you better go, and waved to the door. At the end he asked where my husband is from. What was the purpose of this question in this situation? It seems like someone is racist! The way the owner talked to us as customers (loudly!) left me completely speechless. I have never experienced such a reaction in my entire life. Never! I have been to different countries in my life! But no one has ever treated us like that and thrown us out of the restaurant. I was in Houston, El Paso, Mexico and I met the friendliest people there. My impression of this restaurant! The owner is sick. Because no one with even a little decency and reason treats other people like animals. That's how we felt! Every restaurateur (I was in the restaurant business myself for years) knows that the well-being of the customer, friendliness and, above all, respect come first. I hope that this restaurant has to close because hopefully other customers will notice what sick behavior the owner and the waitress are displaying. I am incredibly disappointed and disgusted with this place! Inhumane! And another thing! we live in Germany. Then speak German too!

Not authentic Mexican food, with pureed tomatoes all over the food. Location is not intended as a classic restaurant, somehow there is no flair even though it is lovingly decorated!

The food, service and atmosphere are top. There is still a star deduction because unfortunately you cannot pay with a credit card. It would be great if that were possible in the future.

Really good food - had the tortilla chips and Chimichanga with beef. Service was great, super friendly and attentive. The only thing we did not like that much was the Chilean Red Wine, it was very acidic.

First things first: This is not authentic Mexican food! The people who have reviewed this claiming it is the best "Mexican" food have only ever been to Sausolitos or one of those other bad chains, sorry to say... It tasted okay... (had the carne asada)... The meat was kinda dry and was just blended together with rice inside a tortilla with sour cream on top and lots of salsa, so all the same texture... The prices are a bit crazy. A burrito by itself costs over 20 Euros and chips and salsa costs 7 Euros on top. With drinks, you're looking at close to 40 Euros a person... For a burrito... Service was very nice, though we waited a long time for the check at the end.

For a friend's birthday, we celebrated at Houston's Fine Burrito Company, a Mexican restaurant in Stuttgart. The food surpassed all expectations; it's easily the best Mexican spot I've tried in the city. I highly recommend their loaded nachos with beef – they were exceptional. The service was top-notch too; our waitress went above and beyond, delving into intricate menu details and providing extensive information about the food. The drinks were superb as well, complementing the meal perfectly. Altogether, it made for an outstanding birthday dinner, leaving us thoroughly impressed. 🎉🇲🇽🌮🌯🌶️

Bestes Restaurant in Degerloch. Selten eine solch freundliche Bedienung gehabt wie hier, großes Lob. Das Essen war super und man schmeckte, dass hier tatsächlich nur frische Zutaten verwendet wurden. Auch die Cocktails waren klasse. Hier passt einfach alles zusammen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall jetzt öfters hierher.

Sehr geil für eine mexikanische Auszeit! Ambiente, Essensauswahl und Getränke sind super authentisch und vielfältig. Natürlich gehört auch ein Gläschen Tequila zur Vorspeise (hier empfehle ich Don Julio oder Patron). Das Essen selbst war auch sehr lecker. Service war phänomenal und das Ambiente sehr modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Gerne wieder!

Der Service super.... Die junge Dame aus Lettland gehört zu den FREUNDLICHSTEN BEDIENUNGEN ever !!! Schönes kleines gemütliches Lokal, sehr leckeres Essen !!! Ich verstehe die Kritik bezüglich Kreditkartenzahlungen nicht🤦 Ich habe mit EC-Karte bezahlt (incl. Trinkgeld). Es muss doch nicht überall Kreditkarte akzeptiert werden, wie engstirnig ist das denn....
