My absolute favorite restaurant in Berlin! I haven't lived in Berlin for years, but I still come here every time I'm there. Apart from the prices, which have increased/adjusted by about €2 over the years, the quality of the food hasn't changed! It's simply the most delicious Vietnamese food I've ever eaten. My top favorites are the spring rolls and the coconut soup; you won't find anything as delicious anywhere else! And it's homemade! Not the run-of-the-mill frozen spring rolls you get everywhere else. I highly recommend trying the menu. I've never been disappointed!

Delicious food made for me without any chili because I have an intolerance, but so expertly spiced that I still got the full sensory Indian food experience. One of the only Indian restaurants I've been able to find after my trip to India that taste as good as what you get there.

Great restaurant. Friendly service, lovely ambiance, and fantastic food. Highly recommended. However, reservations are recommended, as the quality of the food means it's often busy.

Well, what can I say? The food was okay. However, I noticed two things negatively: you couldn't pay with a Visa card and the manager was probably having a very bad day: a young man came into the restaurant and asked very politely if he could perhaps use the toilet (for a fee), as the public toilet in front of the door was probably very dirty or broken. The way this man was treated by the boss was anything but friendly. He certainly didn't look like he was doing any nonsense in the toilet. To treat a person in need like this is not worthy of this restaurant.

Chay Village is one of those good restaurants whose great quality has endured until now. That's not that common! I like to come by irregularly, always try something new from the completely vegetarian menu and am never disappointed. Drink prices are high, but these days they are back to normal. But a main course under 10€ is quite an announcement! Old review (2020): Great Vietnamese, very tasty food. Apparently often very full, so it's advisable to get there early or make a reservation! The staff was humble and nice, I found it very pleasant. I can particularly recommend number 25 (flat rice noodles with salad and vegetable rolls including soy dressing) and, for drinking, number 72 (guava-mint shake)!

Wow!!! Some of the best dishes i’ve had in a while! full of flavour! Highly recommend the deep fried sticky rice balls with ice cream for dessert!

It's supposed to have good food, but after standing in front of a closed door three times, I'm finally giving up! Neither the opening times stated online nor the handwritten “winter opening times” on the door are incorrect. I was just standing in front of the door at 11:45 a.m. on a Monday and was disappointed for the third time. So don't bother going there! Very very sad :(

Nice small ambient restaurant. Delicious food, my personal fav was the sweet potato. Wasn’t a big fan of the soup however.

The food was super delicious! And at a reasonable price, plus free dessert. The entire menu was vegetarian, with plenty of vegan options. Highly recommended! If we were from Berlin, we'd come back :)
