Ordered for delivery. Unfortunately, the sushi was far too warm because everything was delivered in a bag. Also the hot dishes. This is not acceptable.

Best sushi here in Essen with the fastest delivery. You can also go out to eat quickly during your lunch break in the suburbs.

The quality of the sushi is excellent. Authentic, no-frills Japanese sushi is offered here. The miso soup is recommended.

The best sushi I have ever eaten in my life! I've been ordering exclusively from this sushi shop for a year - and for good reason. Although there are many better-known sushi restaurants in the city, this one is clearly the best for me. The fish, especially the salmon, is always super fresh, the delivery is on time and the sushi is simply incredibly tasty – really, really, really tasty! For a year now, no other sushi shop has been an option for me.

The restaurant is currently closed for renovations. This was posted on the door. Nevertheless, the information online states that Mikado is currently open. You can also make reservations, and they will be confirmed by email. That's exactly what we did, and we found the doors closed right on time – I call that poor customer service, since we traveled all the way there for this visit. It should be possible to inform customers online when the restaurant is temporarily closed. If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

More like 2 stars, but there are worse sushis, hence the 3. So salmon content in the lemurs is a joke. There was almost nothing in there. Generally way too much rice with sushi. Gyoza weren't that good either, some of the dough was already hardened (prepared for too long). So-so. Wasn't fun to eat. Yakitori has also eaten more tender meat, but it was the best of the delivery. + Point: warm and sushi were delivered separately. (With sushi, I think protection from heat at higher temperatures would still be good). Wouldn't order here again. The sushi is much better.

I was very positively surprised - I've lived here for a few years and ordered there for the first time - super dear owner & the sushi and starters were super delicious - so I definitely recommend it and will order there again and try my way through the menu :)

It is actually a bit difficult to eat on site, but to take away or order the food is always a pleasure... the peanut sauce is the tastiest of all the peanut sauces I have eaten so far and there were quite a few... friendly staff and delicious food
