Wie normallerweise bei All-You-Can-Eat, viel Füllung und weniger Fisch. Die Sushi waren klein und nicht lecker. Service war richtig schlecht: wir mussten Personal zu lang ab warten, um Tisch zu bekommen. Damals ist es mit Tablets etwas schiefgegangen, sodass wir jedes mal beim fast leeren Restaurant Personal suchen sollen. Einige haben gesehen, das wir uns melden, und trotzdem sind einfach weggegangen. Ein paar Gerichte wurden vom Personal sogar vergessen. Am Ende des Tages war es viel zu teuer. Sehr niedriger Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Auf keinen Fall kommen wir wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen, und auch die hausgemachten Getränke waren top. Das Essen kam schnell und heiß an. Ein kleines Manko: Bei den Reisschälchen hat man etwas Spülmittel oder ähnliches herausgeschmeckt. Das Ambiente ist schön, auch wenn es nicht typisch asiatisch wirkt. Parkplätze gibt es reichlich, nur die Einfahrt ist etwas versteckt – da muss man kurz aufpassen.

Ein alter Freund und ich waren heute hier zum Essen und ich bin mit allem zufrieden. Ob es der Service, die Location als auch die Hauptsache; die Speisen selber, waren köstlich und einen weiteren Besuch Wert. Vielen Dank an die beiden Damen die uns bedienen. Bis demnächst

Kein richtiges All u can eat Konzept. Man darf vom selben Gericht nur 3 mal höchstens bestellen Dann darf man nur insgesamt 3 Kugeln Eis bestellen Und so viel Nachtisch gibt es nicht zur Auswahl. Nur frittierte Banane (gratis) und Himbeermousse, aber gegen einen Aufpreis von 2,50€. Sonst keine Früchte, nichts weiter. Also all u can eat ist etwas anderes..

Ansich lecker. Ich fand aber eigenartig, dass die Insidern Rollen mit Lachs oben auf auch die mit Fischrogen waren. Ich glaube, eine Sorte wird für alles genommen. Die Getränke waren sehr lecker. Leider war es sehr kühl im großen Raum.

Ein Restaurant mit der inzwischen üblichen All-you-can-eat Tablet-Bestellung. Die Speisen sind alle lecker und werden der Preis-Leistung gerecht. Das Team ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles geht flott. Es empfiehlt sich zu reservieren. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden, aber speziell im Sommer bei schönem Wetter kann es dabei schon mal eng werden. Denn dann kann man auch draußen sitzen beim Essen. Das Lokal war früher man ein Tanzsportclub. Aber das merkt man nur als aufmerksamer Gast und ist gut umgestaltet worden. Eine Besonderheit: man hat quasi keinen Mobilfunkempfang im Sakura - da ist man in einem Funkloch. Wer etwas wichtiges beim Essen ersteigern möchte, sollte das bedenken. Dafür kann das Sakura jedoch nichts, sei aber erwähnt.

Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Abend! Das Essen war hervorragend. Der Service war aufmerksam, freundlich und sehr zuvorkommend.

Ein abgelegenes aber vollkommen solides Sushi-Restaurant. Die Auswahl ist ganz in Ordnung und es können sich kleine Gerichte bestellt werden, wenn man kein Sushi mag. Die Bestellungen werden über Tablets getätigt. Grundsätzlich kann man 10 Runden à fünf Teile in zwei Stunden bestellen. Wenn man länger als zwei Stunden bleibt, wird man nicht weggeschickt. Man geht auf jeden Fall satt nach Hause und die Qualität der Speisen ist wirklich gut.

Ich kann den Laden nur empfehlen! Das All you can eat-Angebot ist preislich super fair, die Auswahl groß und alles schmeckt wirklich frisch. Besonders gut gefallen hat mir, dass die Bedienung sehr freundlich und aufmerksam war man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Geschmacklich stimmt hier einfach alles. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder.

Es ist wie immer ein besonderes Erlebnis. Alles passt und das Essen hervorragend. Die Speisen klein , so das man alles kosten kann und davon so viele wie man möchte.

Our absolute favorite regular restaurant for over 12 years now. We've never been disappointed in all these years and have truly experienced a lot: -The transition from ordering with pen and paper to tablets -A change in suppliers; one supplier delivered substandard goods and was immediately gone The food is always delicious, and we feel warmly welcomed. Our child is allowed to run around and is happily welcomed. Of course, during rush hour, you sometimes have to wait a little longer for your food, and mistakes do happen. Nevertheless, the service is always excellent and friendly.

I don't know what happened there. I used to go there regularly, but now I haven't been for about a year... The food really doesn't taste good. It's like it's been stored for a long time and just taken out of the fridge. And everything tastes the same... Or rather, nothing tastes like anything... The two of us were very disappointed, and we spent €90 there for that... The service, though, is top-notch!

My children, ages 9 and 11, love it there. There's something for every taste – always small bites. They also like ordering via tablet. Two hours (time for eating) fly by. Allergies aren't a problem (we have milk and nut allergies).

It's simply become my regular spot for all-you-can-eat options! Top-quality food, a very convenient ordering method (via iPad), and the friendly staff. Even with a dog and stroller, we feel welcome; they always make room for us. In all these years, I've only had to wait longer for food once, and both the indoor and outdoor areas were packed with customers. For my friends and me, Sakura is without a doubt the best place for an enjoyable sushi and grill evening.

We've been guests here since the beginning and come here 2-3 times a year. But what happened at your place? Some of the meat was still raw. The selection was even more limited. There were more breadcrumbs than meat on the plates. In return, the price was raised again. At least the staff was friendly (as always). It's a shame we can't recommend you anymore!

Very tasty food. Large selection of sushi at the buffet. The rest is ordered via iPad – up to 10 rounds of four dishes (small plates) per person. Even if you're a big eater, you'll only manage four to five rounds, especially if you also order the sushi. Nevertheless, it's very good value for money. The staff is very friendly and very attentive, even when the place is full. The parking lot is large – as the restaurant is located on the outskirts of Kettwig, it's necessary. In summer, it's nice to sit outside under the parasol. Inside, the middle tables in the large winter garden are quite noisy, while the adjoining rooms, niches, and even the perimeter are quieter. Highly recommended!

Das Sakura befindet sich zwischen Mülheim Menden und Essen Kettwig und vorab, ich empfehle es. Man bestellt pro Runde pro Kopf 5 Items aus der Karte, welche dann zubereitet an den Tisch gebracht werden. Man kann soviel Runden wie man schafft bestellen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, ob Sushi oder gegrillte Speisen, alles toll. So kann man sehr viel Zeit dort verbringen und immer was bestellen. Wir haben im schönen Biergarten gegessen und fanden das Ambiente draußen sehr schön. Parkplätze vor dem Restaurant. Es ist zwar nicht preiswert, aber Preis Leistungs gerecht.

Now to eat It's a mystery how so many people manage to sit there for so long. I have rarely eaten such bad sushi. The fried foods were okay but honestly, how could you go wrong?! We have often been to other well-known sushi restaurants in the area (Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Essen), but Sakura has convinced us the most!!! So absolute recommendation!

The Sakura in Essen Kettwig is always worth a visit for me. It's a bit hidden on Mender Street, so you should keep your eyes open when you come for the first time. I really enjoy going there, although not often. I wasn't disappointed with the quality of the food. Last Saturday, however, we had a waiter who apparently had little empathy. No “thank you”, no “please” and a listless face. But that was the only negative thing about the evening. All the other employees were very nice. But this young man has definitely missed his job.

This was by far the worst All You Can Eat of my life: -All dishes served in batter (tempura, gyosa, pancakes) were dismally limp. Oil temperature too low in the deep fryer? A stove connected to low current? -The sushi pieces deserve the rating “At least it looks like sushi on the outside”. Nobody who has ever eaten at a real, good Japanese restaurant would come here again: poor fish quality, subterranean rice in terms of taste and consistency -The beef had such a sour taste that it was inedible. We couldn't get it down and would have preferred to pay the “penalty fee for leftovers”. -The highlight was the bill: only then did we realize that some sushi in the middle (!) of the all-you-can-eat menu was subject to an additional charge. But it's written in so small that we didn't see it. A rogue who thinks evil. A memorable evening. It's clear that an all-you-can-eat can never be as good as a top Japanese restaurant. But that wasn't what we wanted...and we were still bitterly disappointed!

I don't understand it, maybe I'm one of the few who thinks that way. But many Asian restaurants are becoming increasingly poorer in quality and more expensive at the same time. How does that fit together? 🫰 The fish was tasteless and old. The sushi was sticky and rubbery - how can a restaurant with "sushi" in its name place so little emphasis on the quality of the sushi and then offer such a small selection? The supposedly Japanese cocktails were a disaster - after one sip we left them. What particularly bothered us: The staff didn't even ask why we didn't finish the cocktails. No interest in feedback – that speaks for itself. I also don't understand why some of the reviews we relied on were so positive. Do the other guests have no sense of taste? Or were we just unlucky? For me, the ambience was typically “Asian”, but also old and somehow loveless. At least it was clean and the staff was friendly – ​​that was the only positive thing. What I find particularly bad is that these “all you can eat” Asian restaurants are becoming more and more expensive while the quality is plummeting. This is unacceptable to me.

Of course, Essen has some other very good restaurants, but these are much more expensive, difficult to park and often there is no explanation about the dish or what you order. It would be nice if the selection could be adjusted and varied a little throughout the year. I always find fried sushi super delicious 😁. Unfortunately it doesn't exist here. After 10 years at Sakura, I wish there were other desserts that could also be booked, such as: B. Mochi 🍡. We still come here anyway. A little tip for many who don't like the quality: Come during the week or on the weekend at 5 p.m., then you'll get your sushi quickly, the quality is great and always looks tasty ♥ Always super tasty. Waiters recognize regular guests. You should definitely reserve a table on the weekend Drinks quickly at the table, good price-performance ratio We are here at least once a month.

The restaurant is located just outside between Mühlheim and Essen rural surroundings. From the country road that runs past, you turn off to the lower-lying restaurant with plenty of parking spaces. You can eat both outside and inside. Outside, the tables are under large parasols, which is of course pleasant in summer. Due to the lower location and surrounding trees, it is pleasant to sit outside even at higher temperatures. The food itself is ordered as “All You Can Eat” with general conditions. Instead of an “analog menu”, each table receives a tablet for selection and ordering. Up to 10 items from the menu's starters, main courses or desserts can be ordered at the same time. After sending, a timer starts, after which the next order is possible. The ordered dishes are each freshly prepared and brought to the table one by one. This leads to a calm and relaxed process, which is pleasantly different from self-service "all you can eat" buffets where the food may be left for a long time. Of course, drinks can be ordered at any time regardless of the “10 position timer” rule. The atmosphere is pleasant, the service is friendly and attentive, so you can spend a lovely evening here. The food itself is very good and contains quite a few surprises, beyond what is generally known in this area. For example, I have developed a preference for Japanese pancakes 😋. The sashimi salad is also something very special. Everyone can discover their own favorites 😉.

Delicious sushi, the selection could be a bit larger and I also think it's a shame that you had to pay extra for sauces and certain sushi. The very friendly staff was positive. Each dish was brought to you in a friendly manner and explained again what it was. I've had to experience this much more impersonally in other All you can eat. Overall, a successful evening! The employees are very friendly, you can express clear wishes and, if possible, they will be fulfilled. You can also come by without prior reservation, but it is safer to reserve in advance. You will be asked whether you have been there before, if not, the system with the tablet will be explained to you before you order. The system is clear and should be easy to understand for anyone who can use a smartphone. You can order every 15 minutes. I was there with one person, so together we were able to add 10 items to the "shopping cart" per order. Drinks are not added to an order. So you can still order 10 dishes and 2 drinks without any problem. Drinks cost extra. I had to pay €5 for a 0.5l beer. The drinks are not cheap at all. You can order from All-You-Can-Eat every 15 minutes for 2 hours. Even if the food hasn't arrived yet but 15 minutes have passed since the last order, you can still order the next round. If you don't manage to eat something, you have to expect a contractual penalty. This is small, but it is added for every dish that was not eaten. It's easy to misjudge, the portions are small but when you're full, it's better to stop. The food is delicious, but for me personally the selection was quite small. You can pay there with a credit card. The menu even offers the option of dividing the buzzers, but I haven't tested this function and whether or not it can be adjusted further.

The food was delicious. Unfortunately, our table and the floor in the shop and also in the toilet were greasy and therefore not nice to look at. The guest's fingerprints were previously visible on the table. When asked, the table was then wiped. The staff seemed rather listless.

You can eat well here. Ordering is only possible via iPad, which takes some getting used to at first. But the second course was easy to order.

The food wasn't particularly seasoned, some dishes were simply prepared from a can and the chicken on the yakitori skewer was still raw inside. Efforts have been made to create the ambience, unfortunately the street next to the restaurant doesn't help. Unfortunately we won't be coming back, even though we had really high hopes.

All you can eat sushi and grill comes quickly to the table via tablet order. Sushi and grill were very tasty. The selection was sufficient. Only the atmosphere could be a little fancier but otherwise everything was great.

You quickly get to grips with the digital system and the food is good. - a drawback is that the entrance and exit are difficult to see; when leaving, you cannot see the traffic coming on the left because of the greenery. People like to drive quickly here. But otherwise one 😎 thing 👍
