Soul Sushi is simply a perfect example of why you don't feel like ordering anymore. If I had been there, I wouldn't have paid for something like that! 6 slices of salmon? As you can see in the picture on the left, they are so thin that they are even transparent. Even nigiri has thicker slices. Quality is also questionable - the salmon does not “smell” of freshness or quality. Wasabi has nothing to do with wasabi. Ginger is ok. I don't just write it like that. I ordered there 3 times. Sushi completely fell apart because the rice was far too soft even though it was completely dry. Last time salmon - strangely enough, it was okay. The slices were also neatly cut and thick, as you know them. I thought I'd give it another chance, but after ordering today it was one last time. I still dared to eat the salmon and then spent half the day on the toilet. Right photo for comparison of Dui Sushi. The fish here is always fresh and has never disappointed me. Wasabi is the same for them - it saves money but at least you don't get food poisoning.

Sushi is bomb, it's always made fresh, you can watch it if you want. Best Asian in Essen Nord. Payment possible via PayPal!

Food disaster!!! The store opens at 5:30 p.m. and NOTHING is restocked after that! Food sometimes remains in the containers until shortly before closing time (we were there until 9:20 p.m.), regardless of how many guests are still there or not. Accordingly, the food tastes the same after a few hours. 😂 Except for all the drinks, the rest is totally cold and disgusting. New owner doesn't care about the health of the guests, but rather about profit. Food poisoning is included for €29.80. Never again!

We ordered online, received a confirmation and are now waiting an hour and a half for our food. Nothing comes. You can't reach anyone there by phone. So now let's eat something different. Have ordered there many times. But we won't do that anymore. There are now enough alternatives.

I have been eating here for many years but the restaurant is getting worse and worse. The sushi was half-baked and was already half falling apart. We had to wait 20 minutes for dessert and there were hardly any guests in the restaurant. We had a dirty plate and some things didn't really taste good either. When paying, they didn't even ask if everything was OK. We asked if there would be new kitchen staff, but we were looked at stupidly and the waiter left. We then told him that it didn't really taste good and that no one cared. Previously a regular restaurant, today we decided not to eat here anymore.
