Früher war ich sehr zufrieden aber seit ca. fast einem Jahr hat sich das Essen irgendwie so geändert. Reis war plötzlich echt nicht mehr gut und von dem Lachs will ich garnicht anfangen.. ich hatte echt keine Lust mehr weiter zu essen. Früher hätte ich 5 Sterne gegeben aber mittlerweile muss ich leider 2 geben.

I am truly sorry for every animal that died for this “food”. I needed something quick in the evening and had no demands, but this, I hardly dare call it food, was an unparalleled impudence. I feel deeply sorry for every food that was harvested, produced or killed for this purpose, as well as for everyone who had to prepare it. Really guys, one little thing I would like to pass on to every reader is just cook for yourself instead of giving in to laziness and stuffing this food into yourself. In the end, I see it as a lesson after I had to smoke 10 cigarettes to get the taste of that disgusting salmon out of my mouth.

The visit to Okinii in Essen was an experience in the truest sense of the word. When we arrived and went to our table, we immediately noticed the generally poor condition of the restaurant. The bench seats were badly worn and in one place the foam was sticking out of the seams. Arriving at our table, we immediately noticed that our seats were covered in crumbs. The grooves on the left and right were also filled with crumbs. When the neighboring table was cleared after the guests had left, the leftover food was simply left under the table. The ambience and music were more reminiscent of a cocktail bar than an Asian restaurant. Then the first order came: 16 of 20 dishes were brought. When we asked where the remaining four were, we were told that we hadn't ordered them - even though we had even taken screenshots of the order. Instead of simply handing over the missing dishes at an all you can eat event, there was a discussion first. The food itself was delicious, you can't complain about that. But we lost our appetite as we watched the table next door receive a small bowl of noodles. Apparently a noodle had fallen onto the tray. But instead of disposing of the noodle in the kitchen and cleaning the tray, they picked it up with their fingernails and put it back in the bowl - at the guests' table!! This reflected the overall impression of the place. We lost our appetite. When we were home and the ordering page's browser windows were still open, we watched as the next guests at our former table added their orders to the shopping cart. We were also able to continue to fill the shopping cart - even with paid food and drinks. This is a serious security problem in your system! Price/performance is not right here. For the price you expect not only good food, but also a clean restaurant. We don't eat there anymore and can't recommend it to anyone.

Very simple but clean rooms. The location is unbeatable, though: Medio is right next door, and Extrablatt, with a great breakfast selection, is just 50 meters away.

I would like to give 0 stars! We had hair in our sushi!!!!!!! Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Staff super unfriendly. Ordered from TooGoodToGo and didn't even get chopsticks or soy sauce with the sushi. An impudence.

Too bad. Lieferando said 20-40 minutes. After over an hour the food came and things were missing. There was no waiting, rang the bell 9 times and was simply left in front of the door. Unfortunately we weren't understood when we called and the rest was still supposed to be delivered. After another hour we called again and there wasn't even an apology. Our guests also wanted to go home and after asking for a refund we were only told that it would be "hard" for us if we couldn't wait (we were told that it will probably be delivered TODAY). The food that arrived was, well. Unfortunately that was the first and last order.

Forced down because of hunger! I have ordered there several times and have given the store a chance again and again. Something is always missing! Ordered there again today because we wanted a little snack in the evening. Wasabi and ginger are probably in short supply there! It's always forgotten! With the Spicy Tekka inside out, I looked for the fish roe (exaggerated), but there was hardly any on it! Like last time, I couldn't find the cream cheese in the Crunchy Sake Haso Maki! The fried sushi just sucks dry. Even the sweet chili dip doesn't help! But hey, thanks for the chewed pen that was in the bag on top of our sushi! Never again sushi lovers!

Sehr freundlich am Telefon. Lieferfahrer'in* freundlich. Das Essen ist vollkommen in Ordnung, egal ob Ente, Nudeln oder Reisgerichte. Am liebsten bestelle ich Acht Schätze, Ente mit Erdnuss-Soße oder Sushi. Für meinen persönlichen Geschmack, würze ich manchmal etwas nach. Vielen Dank und liebe Grüße. UPDATE: Das Restaurant eröffnet demnächst an einem neuen Standort

New name + complete renovation but things turned out worse than expected! Now you can't sit down anymore, but what the hell were you thinking, slapping roasted onions and barbeque sauce on the makis/nigiris? The rice content was too high and absolutely tasteless, the old operator couldn't do it perfectly, but there was more music on the palate for the money, no thanks!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with some of the reviews here. I ordered through their website. The order was paid for, but never confirmed. No one answers the phone, and the store looks closed from the outside. It's a shame; I used to enjoy ordering from here.
