Parkhotel Bergheim an der Erft in Bergheim

I was there for 3 days and on the first day I felt like Martin McFly in the second part of Back to the Future. The room looked like it was from the end of the 18th century, the shower was pretty small and my toilet seat was every color except white and the bed, at 80cm wide, wasn't that great either. The puffy red carpet is 100 years old, which didn't look so nice anymore and had stains, I don't know if it was blood. The second room I got was okay but only because it had been recently renovated. The shower is the same (small) in all rooms. If you like sushi, you can order something to eat directly from the hotel, but the whole hotel really has Asian cuisine. I think once they've renovated everything, it could be a good hotel.

Cockroaches in the room, blood on the mattress, smelly drains, a much too small shower, and unfriendly staff! I recommend you if I want to get even with someone :)

The location was central, but we weren't impressed with the room at all. The drain was clogged, the light was broken, and the bathroom was dirty. We also wanted to check out, but we had to wait two hours at the reception desk for staff to finally check us out. There was no response to our calls either. All in all, I would recommend a different hotel.

Very simple but clean rooms. The location is unbeatable, though: Medio is right next door, and Extrablatt, with a great breakfast selection, is just 50 meters away.

Room was clean. Even if the inventory was very old. Bathroom with shower in pretty good condition. But that doesn't work at all. The mattresses were worn out. Had 2 different rooms. Mattresses in every room were worn out.

We were there on the weekend One night there (fortunately only for a few hours) and it was the dirtiest hotel room, especially the bathroom, that I have ever seen. Apart from the fact that the towel holder, the toilet seat and various other things in the room were broken, it was disgustingly dirty. The water in the sink hasn't drained and it seems like it hasn't seen a cleaning cloth at the bottom for ages. Just like the shelf under the mirror. The mirror was spattered and smeared. The toilet seat was not only broken but also completely discolored (obviously they think that a toilet will be clean if you pour toilet cleaner gel on it and just leave it there). The toilet seat was yellow and also dirty, just like the toilet inside. Dust, various other dirt and thick lint in the corners of the room had probably been there for a long time. I only clicked on one star because you can't leave a rating otherwise! The photos speak volumes!

When I read the reviews after booking, I was initially afraid that I would end up staying in some flophouse. But I can't agree with the negative comments. Of course I can only rate my room and it is spacious, chic/comfortably furnished and clean(!). There is also a fan, refrigerator, coffee corner, smart TV and the bed is also very comfortable. I will book again when I come here again on business!

The receptionist was courteous and welcoming, however, the housekeeping services were severely lacking. Upon entering our assigned room, we were met with an unpleasant odor and discovered that the toilet was in an unsanitary condition, and the overall state of the room was unkempt. I promptly voiced my concerns and requested a room change, which resulted in a marginally improved accommodation. However, the toilet in the new room exhibited stains from previous usage, indicating inadequate cleaning practices. Regrettably, this experience fell short of satisfactory standards.

Room 110 is very critical. The bed is broken and very loud. Room service only came after three days and only made the bed fresh and changed towels. The room was uncleaned from the start with spiders and beer mats under the bed. There are spots and cobwebs everywhere. The windows are uncleaned and one lamp doesn't work. The bathroom is still the best here. But that is also very borderline.

Room 104 is in a catastrophic condition. Very dirty, especially the bathroom. There is a bathtub, but if you drain the water after the bath, the entire bathroom is flooded. Unfortunately, the reception was unable to help. Unfortunately there is no shower curtain either....and no closures for the drains. When you hang the towels on the holder, it collapses and the towels fall down. There don't seem to be any new towels...we're here for the 4th day: no one has vacuumed, no one has changed the towels. We are NEVER coming back!

I honestly don't know how to write the review so it doesn't get deleted. Luckily we were only there for half a night. More would really not be acceptable for the price!! The photos speak for themselves. Unfortunately you couldn't take a photo of the urine smell from the toilet.

The hotel is unhygienic and I felt very uncomfortable. Had to change rooms because the first room was unreasonable. Unfortunately, room number 2 wasn't much better either 😔

Disgusting and catastrophic! The room door could not be locked because it was only half-heartedly repaired after a previous riot. The bathroom was not cleaned including leftovers from the previous tenant. Lighting underground, furniture destroyed. Fridge smells like vomit! No refund or rebooking. Thanks for nothing.

The room was careless, especially not clean, partly unhygienic. Not just dust, but glass/cup edges. No breakfast possible.

Reshepshena employee accepted 110 euros but he never sent the bill by email, he refused to charge the bill immediately, I don't recommend this hotel .I emailed them but they did not answered.

never again...very dirty rooms are only superficially cleaned, same bed linen for days, no response to notices

Breakfast costs €10 and the cold cuts are getting less and less every day. No yoghurt with fruit, butter expired, no boiled eggs... However, the room is OK. I would say; Need for improvement. 10€ for this is not possible.

No water to drink in the room, no place to sit except on the bed, NO food... I'd better not list anything else. Definitely a disgrace for the price per person! Once and never again! The only positive thing was the reception
