We absolutely love going there. The food is absolutely delicious and the selection is huge – including vegetarian options! Great cocktails, open late, always something going on, and excellent service! Great and close to the shopping street! Love it! 😁

This restaurant has everything to be absolutely great, but unfortunately falls short in the execution. The food was really really good (had sea bass on vegetables with sweet potato puree - everything was absolutely on point and perfect!). However, I had difficulty finding something appealing on the menu: the theme is "New York" - but there is nothing on the menu. Although there is no burger or steak, the entrees are Italian, Japanese or Spanish. For the main course there is also grilled chicken, spaghetti Bolognese and tarte flambée. Only the desserts fit the NY theme. (By the way, the menu on the Internet is not the same as in the restaurant) The ambience would actually be really nice, picks up on the theme well and has great lighting... If you didn't notice that you're sitting in the hotel's breakfast room: on one side there are still parts of the breakfast buffet around, while on the other side the fully automatic coffee machine is doing its self-cleaning rounds. Last but not least - the service was really nice and friendly. But the restaurant was full and two waiters and two cooks weren't enough. Accordingly, we waited quite a long time for food (information in advance would have been nice) and it was sometimes difficult to order something more. This may all seem a bit petty, but from a restaurant where every main course costs over 30 euros, I expect a lot more attention and attention to detail on these points.

Good meat, great service and only slightly raised prices. There is something very loud about it, which holds back the feeling of relaxation a bit. Otherwise highly recommended.

Far too expensive for the quality of the food: The piece of meat I was served was overcooked on one side and still raw on the other. You can then choose your own side dishes separately—which is fine. What's not okay is that they're each too large in quantity, so it would have been better to share them between two people. The waitress didn't think it necessary to point out that, with our group of eight people, we were practically ordering enough food to feed ten people. Orders were also mixed up. Last but not least, you have to make compromises in terms of comfort: The restaurant is a hall, the place is buzzing, and the noise there is accordingly loud.

We had a lovely evening! The food was delicious! The staff were very friendly and attentive!

Maredo Frankfurt am Main – An expensive farewell without glamor Maredo in Frankfurt was once an institution for steak lovers, but unfortunately it has no longer been able to impress in recent years. The price-performance ratio was simply not right: for higher prices one would have expected correspondingly high quality and perfect service - but that was exactly what was missing. The steaks were often mixed or not cooked optimally, the side dishes were bland and the service occasionally seemed overwhelmed or disinterested. Even the atmosphere couldn't live up to the high expectations. For the money you could have found much better steakhouses in Frankfurt. So it doesn't really surprise me that Maredo has now closed forever. It remains a sad example that a big name alone is not enough - quality and service have to be right.

It was my first time there. Very good in advance: it was already after 10 p.m. during the week and there was no stress about ordering food. A really important thing for me, usually, because of long days... Steak served on a hot stone. Always something special, especially since everyone has their own preference for well-done food. I thought the service was good; if it had been a little more attentive, it would have been almost perfect. (Unfortunately, a side dish was forgotten despite the confirmation, and the drinks delivery took a while during the meal... I always find that particularly important.) The atmosphere is nice, but I felt a bit like I was in a train station concourse. But it's still cool overall. I'D LOVE TO COME AGAIN; there must be room for improvement ;-) P.S.: I think the prices are okay too. The steak is expensive, but justified.

Had a burger with fries. The patty was inedible. I complained about it immediately. All that came was a "sorry" but no suggestion to offer something else. At least I didn't want to eat the fries completely dry and ordered ketchup. Instead of at least being given the ketchup as a tiny courtesy, I had to pay for both the untouched burger and the ketchup. The customer is definitely not king here. Very disappointing. We won't be coming back!!
