We were able to spontaneously get a table for ourselves in the evening. Very friendly and ultra-fast service staff served us the classic Mr. rump steak and extras in no time. The cooking point was well met and everything tasted as expected. I'm unsure whether the ambience is still contemporary. However, it would certainly be desirable to name the beers on the menu and, in the case of red wines, to serve them in the correct glass.

Small portions. Nothing special for the price. The interior was very hot, it was August and they did not had air condition! They only have a good pepper for sell.

If the waitress is unmotivated and unfriendly, it ruins the entire visit to the restaurant. We had the lady with a bun who never smiled (unfortunately we couldn't read her name because it was too small). There was no thank you from her when we gave a tip. She also always just looked at my boyfriend when she served us and didn't even look at me - a bit disrespectful. We also found the price performance to be miserable. The steaks are quite good but the rest of the portions are far too small. I had fries instead of baked potatoes and unfortunately the quantity was really puny and generally carelessly prepared. There wasn't even mayo or herb butter with the steak. The ambience also leaves a lot to be desired. All this at such a high price… no thanks.

The food tastes good, but the prices are getting more outrageous while the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Today a waitress disturbed my little dog in his bag on the bench next to me. But with the unbearable noise that often exists there, he needs a place near me where he feels comfortable. Today, after everything was always fine, it suddenly became a problem. The children who regularly jump around in street shoes on the (already not clean) upholstery and shout throughout the place are not reprimanded. The service has now also become underground. Today something was forgotten when ordering and we reported it as soon as the food was brought. But instead of taking care of it, people chatted and laughed with a colleague. We always enjoyed being guests, but today was definitely the last time! Addendum: The owner can save himself some blah-blah here. This incredibly outrageous behavior of the staff (by the way, it wasn't the first time, it was just a different topic before) is an impertinence. And running across the benches with shoes on, screaming and harassing other guests happens just as often. Nobody says anything! And my dog ​​who hasn't touched anything but his own bag is a problem. In summer it is far too hot inside and the outside spaces are not nice

Wonderful food and great service

We love eating at Blockhouse Restaurants as a family. Were here in the (city center) at lunchtime today with my two little kids (2.6 years). The service was terrible!!! I can't even say they're kid-friendly here. Very stressed out waitresses. Some of the women just ran, talked loudly to each other and avoided any eye contact. Woe betide one who makes a wish. When we asked if we could get a new coloring sheet (because my son spilled apple juice), a waitress became very hysterical and said she had to do everything one after the other. She doesn't have time. An outrage! The food was slapped carelessly onto the table and before you could make a request, the waitress disappeared. In addition, I had mentioned my son's allergies several times. NO DAIRY PRODUCTS - like butter etc!!! However, when the plate came for my little son, there was butter on the steak. I'm glad I asked again, otherwise we would have an allergic emergency. We will not enter this Blockhouse Restaurant again. No recommendation!

Excellent restaurant with friendly staff

First of all, great cuisine! Perfectly okay for the price. Let's get to the operation. Food came very slowly and there were no waitresses to inform us that the food was taking a long time. Let's describe the waitress, a woman with a pixie haircut and red hair color. She was responsible for our table. A bit inattentive and also unfriendly. Especially if you want to pay. I noticed this the third time because I am a regular customer. Every time I want the bill, she asks for a tip with (percentage) and with such behavior demands a tip?! This time I intentionally didn't tip to see the reaction. Conclusion: I still can't get that waitress's face out of my head to this day! The fact that "goodbye" or "have a nice day" didn't even come out of the mouth, but instead other tables were served without properly saying goodbye to the customers, is absolutely outrageous and disgusting. The waitress's snooty behavior was also questionable; I had never experienced service like that before. Please Blockhouse, hire friendly and sincere staff instead of hiring unmotivated and rude staff!!! Because I'm tired of it now.

I ordered their best steak, 180gm, fillet mignon. It came with salad, french fries and slice of baguette. Everything was perfect. Salad was superb.

The food and salad were very delicious. On the other hand, the price balance was good.

Stick to beef at a steakhouse. I orderedNorwegian salmon with potato gratin and spinach. The salmon itself was cooked ok but drowned in some sort of fatty lemon sauce with a precooked piece of potato gratin floating in it. Spinach on the side was ok. Awful experience for an upscale chain.

5.80 EUR for an apple spritzer... I get a whole box for that in the supermarket... too expensive!

Once again it tasted great. Many thanks also to Christian, who made the service a special experience. My kids were thrilled.

I have ordered a Burger,to be quite honest I haven't seen such a burger in my life. It wa just a piece of over cooked meat without lettuce and onion and sauce. My wife ordered a Ribe Eye steak which was a thin piece of meat. It was no where near a Ribe Eye Steak. Please do not waste your money !!! If I had the choice to give a zero 🌟 without hesitation I would have given.

Extremely friendly, polite and very motivated staff!!! The meat quality was great. However, here it is grilled directly on the grill... the roasted flavors are a bit too prominent for my taste. You have to like that. In any case, the chefs had no problems with the level of doneness ordered. The side dishes were top. The prices are OK!

We had dinner here on Saturday evening with 5 adults and 6 children. The nice restaurant manager and the service staff really did an excellent job. We are there during the week around lunch time (12:30/1 p.m.), despite the full restaurant, all the employees were very organized and extremely friendly. Even later, when a lot of people had left, the staff took such good care of older people eating alone. Small talk...etc. Waiting time for everything was on point. People asked attentively if they needed anything else without being intrusive. We were all very excited and will be back. By the way, the food was also very tasty ☺️. They don't skimp on sauce with their meals, I don't know that at all. Thank you!

We were there at 10:45 p.m. and were extremely hungry after a very long day at work. At the entrance we politely asked if we could get something to eat. Unfortunately, this was denied by the unfriendly employee. This is a very disappointing shame. I will not visit this restaurant again in the future.

We were eating here and I wanted to have a burger at Steakhose. Unfortunately that was bad. I've already read how you justify this in the reviews, but it doesn't matter what meat the paddy is made of. The paddy is unseasoned and more than dry. It doesn't work without a drink. The waitress told us that you can only fry the paddy until well done. Then please stop making burgers. There is no sauce on the burger at all! Why not??? Well, the service was definitely very friendly and treated us nicely despite our criticism. A thumbs up for that.

Blockhouse steak is always good I had Lauch and dinner in different branches through country but sometimes the staffs of some branches seem very tired

Very nice old-style steakhouse, with nice furnishings and dark wood. A large salad plate is included with the steak menu and is very tasty. Very friendly staff on every visit!

Better than the one in the Westend.

The steak was exactly how I wanted it, the baked potato was super tasty. The service was great, we had to move around, but we got another beer on the house. The salad was also very refreshing. I will definitely visit the restaurant again and eat the same thing. 😎 I am very satisfied.

Steak menue absolute brilliant value for your money. Fresh salad as a starter followed by a steak with baked potatoe, sour cream sauce and garlic bread. Quality of the steak was superb. Nice grilled crust on the outside while juicy perfectly medium inside. I went for the American tenderloin - definitely a top choice. Service staff was very attentive and took good care of us. Lava Cake as dessert rounded off the evening perfectly. Located directly across from the Frankfurt stock exchange it is definitely a place to visit.

The pasta was very good, the tartare was weak. I wouldn't recommend this. The atmosphere is relaxed.

I've been here two or three times now, the last time I had an offer of sirloin steak with fries and baguette, the price was okay.

Food was very tasty. Service very friendly and atmosphere ok. However, the man at the grill never manages (and we were here often) to grill the steak the way we ordered (medium WELL). Delivered medium at best on the first try. But I got it right on the second try. It's always been that way for us, and it probably won't change any time soon! But nonetheless we'll be back.

Wer Steaks liebt ist hier genau richtig! Gute Fleischqualität, sehr aufmerksamer Service, kurze Wartezeiten, gut geeignet mit kleinen Kindern. Seit Corona ist es etwas teuer geworden, aber es lohnt sich immer noch. Geheim-Tipp: geht einmal dahin, wenn ihr Geburtstag habt und traut euch, es der Bedienung wissen zu lassen. Es gibt eine kleine Überraschung, die in Erinnerung bleibt!

Ich habe vor einem Konzert in der alten Oper mit Familie und Freunden das Essen im Block House genossen. Da ich nur für mein Essen sprechen kann, das Rib Eye Mastercut ist der absolute Hammer. GARPUNKT absolut Perfekt, die Beilagen sind toll und auch das, zusätzlich bestellte, Pfannengemüse, war der Oberknaller. So ein Essen habe ich, seit meinem Urlaub in Amerika und dem Essen im Texas Steak House, nicht mehr ansatzweise bekommen, selbst ich schaffe es nicht, mein Steak am Grill so zu machen..... Das Personal war schnell, super freundlich, am Nebentisch war ein Geburtstag, das Präsent des Hauses wurde mit Feuerwerk präsentiert, das Personal hat ein Ständchen gebracht, in Deutschland habe ich etwas vergleichbares noch nicht erlebt.... Mit einem Wort den Abend zusammen gefasst, DIESES BLOCK HOUSE ist phänomenal, ich werde sicher, spätestens an meinem Geburtstag, wieder da sein. Vielen Dank für den Beginn eines rundum gelungenen Abend. Ich bin einfach nur begeistert!!!

Waren das erste mal hier und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Carpaccio, Linguini, Filet Mignon und Lawa Cake waren sehr lecker. Besonders das freundliche Personal ist mir positiv aufgefallen. Wir waren also rundum zufrieden. Die Inneneinrichtung könnte etwas moderner sein aber glaube das ist extra in allen BH Restaurants so gestaltet.

Dieser Standort ist nicht so überfüllt wie die anderen Filialen in Frankfurt. Der Service ist immer freundlich und das Essen wie gewohnt lecker 👍🏻

Perfekt "gegrillte" Steaks mit den üblichen Beilagen zu einem noch relativ normalen Preis. Eigentlich wohltuend einer Zeit wo in anderen Restaurants riesige Kühlschränke mit DryAge stehen einfach nur eine Salattheke und die Grillstation zu haben. Service ist gut, Personal freundlich.

Ich kann den Hype leider nicht nachvollziehen. Der sogenannte Burger war eher ein Pseudo-Burger, geschmacklich war er ebenfalls sehr mau. Ich muss gestehen so einen schlechten Burger hatte ich schon lange nicht mehr. Da schmecken selbst Burger der bekannten Fast Food Ketten besser. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Dennoch kann ich Blockhouse leider nicht empfehlen.

Sehr, sehr lecker. Haben dort wirklich gut zu Mittag gegessen. Preise sehr angemessen. Service sehr nett. Gerne wieder.

Perfectly prepared steaks! Nicely seared crust outside and buttery juicy inside - cooked precisely to our liking as we ordered medium rare. The quality of the served beef is excellent, great price value! Wide selection of sauce (garlic, green pepper, barbeque mango, sour cream), the fries and the herb butter were simply amazing. Besti, our wait staff, was exceptionally attentive and super friendly! We would give 10 stars just for her, if we could. Definitely will come back next time we stay in Frankfurt!

Kam durch eine Einladung zum ersten mal zu Block House. Was soll ich sagen. Das Essen war Hammermäääääßig. Das Rib Eye Mastercut von 350 gr. auf Lavastein gegrillt sooo zart, die Offenkartoffel mit der eigenen Sourcreme ein Muss. Das ganze wird mit einem leckeren frischen Salat begleitet. Das Filetmedaillons mit Gemüse und Kartoffelgratin war top. Zum Filet brauchen wir nicht viel zu sagen, lecker, saftig und zart. Leute ich kam nicht dazu Fotos zu machen. Denn es ging alles wirklich sehr schnell. Der Service war hervorragend und schnell. Kann euch wirklich Block House ans Herz legen. Wir werden auf jedenfall wieder dort hin gehen. Weiter so Block House....hätten gerne eine Filiale in Mainz.... BITTEEEEEE

Typisches Block House, jedoch mit einem großen Unterschied. Das von mir bestellte Tenderloin Filetsteak war das bisher beste Filet, welches ich bei der Block House Kette gegessen habe. Man kann sogar fast sagen, dass war generell das beste Filetsteak was ich gegessen hatte. Die Zwiebelsuppe als Vorspeise sowie der Salat mit French Dressing waren lecker. Das Hauptgericht hat es aber wie gesagt komplett übertroffen. Sehr empfehlenswert! Der Service war trotz vollem Haus sehr gut. Zu viert wurde uns schnell noch der vorletzte Tisch zur Verfügung gestellt. Preislich ist es dann doch schon teuer geworden. Jedoch noch bezahlbar.

hatten zwei Mal Dry Aged Rumpsteak am Knochen medium bestellt, eines kam rare, das andere war am Anfang noch in Ordnung zum Knochen auch rare. das erste kam nochmal auf den Grill, kam dann leider eher außen stark angekohlt wieder. das andere wollte ich dann auch nicht mehr verkohlen lassen. Schade, dazu braucht es keine "Lizenz zum Grillen" das kann der Hobbykoch daheim besser. Der Salat, und die Beilagen waren ok, aber auch nichts Besonderes. Alles in Allem schade um das schöne Stück Fleisch und für den Preis auch keine gute Leistung. Der Service war nett.

Habe unser Platz reserviert . 1330h. Das Essen sehr gut wie immer. Aber dieses Mal war es sehr enttäuschend!! Letzten Sonntag hatte ich Geburtstag und uns wurde gesagt Sekt oder Dessert geht aufs Haus. Wir haben Dessert gewählt. Am Ende war das Dessert auf der Rechnung drauf . Wir haben die Kellnerin zweimal darauf angesprochen und erinnert, dass das Dessert oder Sekt aufs Haus geht. Sie sagte,: „Ach okay, Jetzt habe ich die Rechnung schon geschrieben,—dann kriegen Sie ein Geschenk von uns..“ Ja ich habe ein Geschenk bekommen, ein kleines Glas Honig und ein Chip für ein Einkaufswagen. Ich wollte mein Geburtstag nicht versauen, deswegen habe ich nicht mehr diskutieren wollen. ABER ein mündlichen Vertrag ist ein Vertrag. Sie können nicht was was schenken, (in diesem Fall das Dessert) und am Ende schreiben Sie es auf der Rechnung drauf. Es war einfach unverschämt frech von der Kellnerin. Ich hätte einfach die Desserts abziehen sollen.

Sehr lecker, lockere Atmosphäre. Echt viel los, ich mag das. Für ein ruhiges Gespräch zum Essen nicht geeignet. Stimmung war aber wie gesagt sehr gut.

Low grade family style steakhouse. The ribeye was supermarket quality at best, but at a steakhouse price. Service was slow and inattentive.

Ich schätze an diesem Blockhouse das die Qualität der Speisen konstant gut ist. Mein Fleisch ist immer gut gebraten, es ist bisher immer ein gutes Stück ohne Sehnen usw. Auch der Salat ist immer gut. Der Service ist freundlich auch wenn richtig viel zu tun ist. Wenn es voll ist, sitzt man trotzdem gemütlich. Allerdings ist es auch nicht günstig aber ein gutes Stück Fleisch hat seinen Preis.

Schade das man nicht reservieren kann und somit immer mal mehr oder weniger lange Wartezeit an der Tür in kauf nehmen muss.

Essen hat toll geschmeckt. Der New York Burger war mal was anderes aber es war alle sehr gut. Preis Leistung geht völlig in Ordnung.

Absolute Empfehlung direkt neben der Börse! Mr. Rumpsteak ist echt top, kostet halt ein paar Mark aber ist es echt Wert. Auch die Kartoffel schmeckt wirklich sehr gut. Netter Service und gute Gespräche 👍
