Update: It's closed again. Not open this year. This time because of illness. I think you want a nice place to live in the countryside and not work. People give the Sternlesberg so that Echterdingen can have a Waldheim that is open again! If you read the many 1-star reviews and the answers from Sternlesberg, you immediately know that an unfriendly, primitive wind is blowing here. It's been being renovated for ages. It is not and will not be finished. It's finally open again - two days a week for a few hours! You just have to offer a fair wage, then you'll get employees. Since there's plenty of sales to be made here, that shouldn't be a problem if you're not stingy.

Wir haben uns ein ganzes Jahr auf das Gansessen gefreut. Freunde sind zum Teil über 50 km her gefahren. Leider war die Gans lappig, fettig und überhaupt nicht knusprig. Geschmacklich war alles gut, Kraut, Knödel, Sauce alles prima, anschließend wurde leider ungefragt ein Schnaps hingestellt, allerdings wollten sechs von neun Gästen keinen Schnaps trinken, sondern einen Espresso, weil sie Autofahren mussten. Er hat auch niemand gefragt, ob wir zufrieden sind oder ob das Essen schmeckt. Wir kommen seit über 30 Jahren ins Eissele, aber heute waren wir wirklich unzufrieden, insbesondere weil Freunde mit dabei waren, denen es überhaupt nicht gefallen
